Do it in the summer too! Get there early to enjoy amazing wares, artisans, food, and everything in between! In the coming weeks, I'll be posting more reviews on the vendors out here. So follow me for more. The summers are hot, but the people are super cool! I know, corney, right? But seriously, there's plenty of shade and super friendly, helpful people!
Have been attending this farmers market for over a decade and recently I can say its really impressed! Many stalls with loads of variety and delicious food. Kid friendly, dog friendly, and wheelchair accessible. Even despite the crowds my grandmother who uses a walker was able to maneuver with relative ease.
My sister and I drove down from Tucson for this market. It was very nice. There were lots of art-type booths with a wide variety of hand made items. We will be returning! It is open every Wednesday from 9-1, I believe.
this is a fairly large market, however it is all the same people, almost all commercial travelers to all the local markets, all hawking touristy purchases, jewelry, bad art, a ton of sweets and candy. Very little homegrown or fresh produce, or any real items, or truly original things, its not worth going more than once to get a breeze through and wish for a real farmers market.
I went to the "Things to Love" booth. She does amazing work and sells functional fabric items, such as microwave bowls, crossbody wallets, crossbody purses, baby and adult bibs, water bottle carriers, and shirt aprons.
I am a vendor at this market (Mugwumpers Mugs) and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys browsing a large variety of artists and fares. Coffee, produce, food, are all there to enjoy. The market runs from 9:00 to 1:00 every Wednesday and offers over 100 vendors. The drive from Tucson is pleasant, too. Bring your friends, your dog, and yourselves and enjoy a fun morning at the Green Valley Farmers Market at the Green Valley Village at Esperanza and I-19.
Very interesting place, you don't know what to expect. Spent a few hours, made a few purchases. I enjoyed my time there.
We love this market! A wide variety of vendors, artisans and produce. We visit regularly throughout the year and go here to do our Christmas shopping. The street tacos and Sonoran hot dogs are delicious, too.

Wonderful Golf Course. Great Vistas all around. Family enjoyed playing there. Looking forward to another GREAT outing.
Played Quail/Coyote courses. For the time of year, courses should have been in prime condition. Greens and fairways appeared dormant and painted. Very slick in areas. Bunkers are in great shape, water features nice, and cart paths are good. There is no beverage cart service, and The Grill restaurant, the only option for beverages and food, was closed when we played due to plumbing issues. Cart worked well, and the pro shop offered quality merchandise. Happy we played the courses.
Played Coycote & Roadrunner course. Tees look good but are painted! Fairways are the same but dont look as good. Bunkers are great! Nicely washed and raked! Great job on those! Only down point is for the two weeks I played... I saw the "same three workers" NOT DOING ANYTHING!! (On three different days) I hope someone looks into that!!
We went there to celebrate Christmas with our church family. The food was good, the service was very good, and the venue was excellent. We had a band and danced after dinner. All in all, it was a very good experience.
It's a beautiful community. However, if you want to bring your grandkids over it's another story. The pool is only open two times a day for them and if they seem to have any fun they are breaking some rule. They are treated like a pest. They close the pool the whole month of December for maintenance. Which if your paying the HOA of 190/month it would be nice during the winter breaks to have your kids enjoy the pool. The golf course is very beautiful, but if you pay annually they close the WHOLE golf course down for a month to six weeks. Instead of just reseeding one course at a time they just shut everything down. Side walks are scattered through out the housing so sometimes you can walk on one and other times your walking on the road. Again nice facility, but not friendly to bring your family to visit.
Nice course. It's in good shape, not great, but they have started a course renovation project so only 2 of the 9 hole courses were open. There's also rumors that a 4th 9 hole course is being planned.
Club and course didn’t seem ready for play. Nobody working the bag drop, no water available bottles or otherwise. Pro shop not open. Had to go to the grill to stand in line for a soda and beer but still no water available on a 90 degree day. Course not in good shape with very slow greens and over priced.
The service was excellent, the quality of the food was great, but even considering the present state of the economy, the prices are too high!

Coarse was very nice and challenging. Greens rolled true and firm. But you could go for the pin and get bite. Everyone very friendly and helpful. Kurt is the green valley golf encyclopedia for new people playing here as well as a fantastic concierge. Thanks for the help and guidance buddy. Greg and Betty Tack.
Very good place to play in green valley. Fairways are mostly well manicured and views are exceptional on the front. Yes, the traps have stones in them but you can play out of them easily. Very playable course with some long par 3s from blue tees
“The guy in charge” yeah, that’s how he addressed himself was on an absolute power trip and unable to even hold an intelligent conversation. The moment we questioned their changing polices (we had played the course before) he got argumentative and hot headed towards us. Not the vibe you want when you pay $$$ for a day off. The course is okay, management is the real reason to never spend a dime here.
Canoa Ranch Golf Club offers a compelling blend of natural beauty and thoughtful course design. Set against the backdrop of Elephant Head Mountain, the course provides panoramic views that enhance the overall golfing experience. Course Design and Layout: Designed by the renowned duo Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley, the 18-hole, par-71 course spans up to 6,701 yards from the back tees. The layout features dramatic elevation changes and strategic bunkering, demanding precise shot placement and offering a rewarding challenge for golfers of all skill levels. Playing Conditions: The fairways, composed of Bermuda grass, and bent grass greens are generally well-maintained, providing a consistent playing surface. However, some players have noted that the bunkers could benefit from additional maintenance to improve playability. Facilities and Amenities: The club boasts comprehensive practice facilities, including a driving range with grass tees, putting and chipping greens, and a fully stocked pro shop. The staff is knowledgeable and courteous, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Overall Experience: Canoa Ranch Golf Club delivers a memorable golfing experience that combines the serene beauty of the Arizona desert with a course that tests and rewards strategic play. It's a destination worth visiting for those seeking both challenge and scenery in their round.
Large Marge was not happy that we showed up 30mins before tee time when was there to warm up with a small bucket. She said "you too early for your tee time". 🤦🏾🤦🏾 First time I've been told this in my 30years of golfing around az.... Fella outside said took him years to get on her nice side 😆. Cart guys make things better after talking to them 😄. Only issue is checking in at pro shop. she even gave the gentleman that was a regular there a hard time. Enjoy playing with Carlos
Full service golf course. attendants meet you at the bag drop and move it to a cart. The course is in good condition, especially for July in Southern Arizona. staff is friendly.
6 somes on weekend! Just foolish. Does not matter that it is a tournament. 6 hour rounds are ridiculous. Views from the golf course are great. Course is interesting and fun. Greens slow for the area. Problem is it is poorly run. Would play here more often if I could play a 4 1/2 hour round
Sand traps are concrete, golf carts were bad with no brakes. Restaurant/Grill doesn’t serve hot food due to failed health inspection…

I wasn't actually playing golf but there with my boyfriend. The course was clean and the grass was intact. There was a raffle at the end of the fundraiser and we won a 4 day trip to Rocky Point. We had a fun day and can't wait to go watch him play again.
Just finished a 5 hour round with 2 holes clear in front of the group in front of us. Marshall not doing their job today. Asked to play through and was refused. Seemed like members in 1 cart, a red one with chrome wheels, playing from the white tees which was way above their skill level. They were were with a twosome in a rental cart playing from the golds. Haven you should do better and expect better etiquette from your patrons. It's a casual course, I get it but today was unacceptable. I feel ripped off. Course is in decent condition some standing water and the sand traps aren't being maintained, but everything else was in decent shape.
The course itself is not awful. The first tea box was the best looking one the rest were mediocre, The real issue came from the ungodly amount of mosquitoes for 18 holes straight. I was being absolutely molested by monstrous mosquitoes that looked like they were out of a sci-fi movie. I've never wanted to get off of a golf course so bad because of the amount of bugs that were on it, but I could not play fast enough to get through 18 holes to get away from these mosquitoes
D times are scheduled way too close together.Causes for major delays and long rounds are round.Today was over five hours. The group for money to get people on the course far exceeds the excitement of golfing overseed should be off soon does not appear as if it did well.Major blank spots and mud in front of all the greens
No need to make a reservation, first come, first serve for 9 holes. No paths to follow so finding the holes in order is a little difficult. All holes are Par 3's, the greens are hard making it difficult to guage how hard to hit the ball, and all greens are elevated.
I like this golf course BUT it's hard. I mean the ground is hard. They don't water much, except possibly on the greens and maybe the center of the fairway. Everything else is dead, especially the tee boxes so when you hit your ball it RUNS! A 275 yard drive becomes 300. Good and bad right. I'll possibly play again but would like the course to soften up a bit. It's good though right, love to play regardless. I do love the framed sign over the urinal though.
Awesome to stop by after work and hit the driving range. Perfect place to bring my son's and teach them the world of golf.
Great place for 9 or 18 holes, course is challenging enough but fair. Clubhouse has a good bar, comfortable with a good selection of beer and snacks. Green fees are about a dollar a hole including a cart.I

I almost don't want to post because in some ways it is still a hidden gem. This ranch is attached to a beautiful man made lake with a gorgeous mountain view. The bird watching is wonderful. There's plenty of seating and signs for any first timers. I most recently attended a Christmas event complete with a food truck, carolers, Santa, and light display. I recommend both the planned Pims County events and just heading out on your own with nothing to do. Both will be magical experiences and I promise you'll leave with plans to come back!
Had a great birding day here. It doesn't look like much when you pull in but there are great easy trails to hike on. With it being migration time, there were lots of different warbler and other species to see. Spent several hours here.
Historic, managed wildlife area with great views of the Santa Rita mountain range, used by lots of people looking to enjoy nature, exercise, dog walking, and a great birdwatching destination. The lake and managed estuary/cienega is a great asset to residents and visitors.
This park was lovingly restored by Pima County, and is a gem to visit and enjoy. Plenty of parking, the De Anza trail is easily accessible from this location. The small pond with a circular trail is popular especially with the many birds and plants here. There are shade covered tables for people to rest at and enjoy a picnic.Historic buildings have been restored and many events including history talks, music, and tests- take place on the grounds.
An interesting historical site. We were surprised there was free admission and that we could roam the property to view the exhibits on our own.
A hidden gem in Pima County with free access to the public. The small paid staff and lots of volunteers maintain the ranch and buildings in excellent condition. The exhibits are high quality. The buildings are closed on Sunday and Monday and the ranch and pond are open 7 days a week. Great spot to watch birds.
A beautiful place to go for a walk, have a picnic and birdwatch. Last night there was a green heron flying around and a great blue heron walking along the edge of the water.
A favorite spot for birding and a little peace and quiet!

Discover a new vibe and experience unlike any city golf course can offer. Complete with what seems like an immersion into the desert wild life that casually strolls, lays, flies and plays all around you. From the pro shop to the course ranger, to the cart attendant, this place has it all at a very reasonable and affordable price. Now, if I could only keep my score under three digits, I would be in heaven. Just a short drive from Tucson this is a hidden gem for any golfer, looking to switch things up without breaking the bank. Check em out !
One of my favorite courses in Southern Arizona. San Ignacio Golf Club never disappoints. The course is always in great shape, and the layout offers just enough challenge to keep things interesting without being overwhelming. The staff is friendly and welcoming every time I play here. One of the highlights for me is the 13th tee box – the views from there are absolutely stunning. You can see for miles across the desert and mountain landscape, which makes it worth the round on its own. Overall, San Ignacio is a solid track with beautiful scenery, good pace of play, and a relaxing vibe. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Green Valley or looking for a fun and memorable golf experience in the area.
This is a beautiful course with stunning vistas. It's in beautiful shape. You must take a cart. It's too steep to walk in many places with long distances between some holes. If you have a rider with you, let them know when you book your round. They can run low on carts.
Food was fresh and hot! Decent service - amazing view!!!!!
What a fantastic morning at San Ignacio. Everybody all the club gave us such a friendly welcome and we hope everyone there would get equally a warm welcome back in Scotland. Played with two members Randy and Carol who were just a prefect couple to play with. As a course, really nice varied layout and all good condition.
WOW what a beautiful golf course San Ignacio GC is! Great experience playing there today with some amazing gentlemen! The course was in pristine condition and there was one negative thing to say. It’s a great course definitely requires some placements shots. Greens and fairways were the very best too! Thanks again for a professional staff, bag staff, starters, Professional, wait staff at the restaurant and bar were amazing too! Definitely will return again soon! 🤙🏽
We played 18 here today - and it was fabulous! Even for a late July round, the course was in great shape. A welcome change and feel from the "desert target golf" feel of most courses in the area. The staff was very friendly, the Coyote Grill was great, and the views were unforgotteable. A must-play course in the area!
Undoubtedly the best course in Green Valley and I’ve played them all except the Country Club of Green Valley which I understand is pretty flat and nondescript. However, San Ignacio is pricing itself out of my league. $8.00 for a medium bucket of range balls! I suppose you get what you pay for, but I’ll probably be getting less.

Course is in great shape a little shaggy from the oversees, going to be in fantastic shape shortly. Unfortunately the bar and grill are closed. Julie did a great job on the course!
I had a great time on this course it is very beautiful. I had some great approaches to the flag you can tell by the photos. I wish the cart paths were a little better need some work done. They need more professional looking hole markers detailing the hole and range. I didn’t know which way the hole went etc maybe a map of course would be nice on scorecard. Had a great time otherwise keep making improvements and this will be a superb course.
Played this course June 30, 2025. Love the layout of this course. Played from the blue tees. However, the aeration makes the greens very rough and bare. Tee boxes and fairways were in decent shape. WARNING: If you have not played here before the mosquitos are horrendous. Swarming in mass. Ensure you have heavy duty spray. Can’t beat the price right now.
A great golf course design and facility! We really enjoyed our round today. The course design was great, the staff nice, and the pace of play fabulous for a December round. There were some things that could be better...for example , the driving range was max 220 yds, and the greens were in very rough shape. This could be an A+ course with a bit more investment and commitment!
A nice course to play in green valley. Greens play slow but true. A variety of tee boxes that make rhe course enjoyable for all skill levels. One of the longest par 5s you will find is located on the back.
I was expecting a better golf course based on the reviews I saw. The tee boxes (not always flat and level) and greens (needed cutting. Slow and little break) were okay. The bunkers are dismal. Many of the fairway bunkers have been abandoned. The remaining bunkers can't realistically be called sand traps because there's almost no sand. The white tees play very short, with many par 4s at or under 300 yards. The temperature was in the mid-90s and we had to go into the bar to refill our water bottles.
Great food at the Abrego Bar & Grill! The service was also very helpful in regards to checking up on the table to refill our drinks. I ordered the main hamburger on the menu and it was bon appetit!
It's ok, it's golf. There are a few areas that feel rundown/overgrown and spots where some more water wouldn't hurt. The greens need help. Not a fan of how the score card for Canoa Ranch and Torres Blancas are combined. Feels cheap. Would like to see a course map in it and less advertising. There are better public options in the area that offer more favorable conditions and food.

CPAC is a local treasure! Wonderful performances offered at very reasonable prices are value added to our community. The ticketing process is quick and easy, very well organized, and their version of will call works so well. I've gone to plays, lectures and music performances, all well done!
Great theater with very good acoustics. Mama Coal was terrific! Great band and Cara is so talented. This is a must see entertainment event if it's near you in Green Valley or Tucson.
It’s great when the Santa Cruz Winds plays there. Buy a ticket for our next concert!
3+1/2 stars. We went for a concert. They blocked off quite a few seats to maintain social distancing. Not sure why. We all have our vaccinations. The seating is kind of like bleachers but with individual seats. There is no concession, not even a vending machine. I would go again.
Unbelievable great free shows, and the paided shows are worth it, the best secret in Arizona, im buying season tickets for everything next year!!!!
Absolutely wonderful entertainment for a super price. The acts are first rate, the auditorium is excellent with great acoustics and the service and volunteers are great. Wonderful benefit of living in Green Valley!
What a phenomenal evening. Really a cool place to visit.

Clean, quiet and a good variety of recent top picks. Front desk very helpful. Nice desk computers with easy navigation. Will be a regular for sure.
Nice local library. Lots of current titles and even a small area for kids and teens. Nice sitting area and great staff.
Joyner library is very well known in Green Valley Az. The library, beside books, computer access, offer many other services as reserving a room for meeting and it is free. Also, they offer online for all members a site for movies in all different languages with subtitles in English for most movies which I really enjoy to watch. The library is definitely a place to enjoy reading, meeting , computer and printing access and many more services. The staff and everyone working at the library are friendly, knowledgeable and always ready to help you with any questions you might have.
Best library! My kids love their activities and toys that are out to play with. Lots of cute books! We love love the librarians here. They are all so fun and understanding with kids. The community here is wonderful full of grandparents who love kids. We got $20 from one grandpa who told me to buy something for my kids. They love kids here!
We come by several times a month. The staff is great, and I can always get in and out quickly. My son loves the children's area. There are plenty of toys and books to keep him occupied. They have a great selection of books, and if there is ever one that's not at this library, but one of the other Pima County libraries, they get it brought over to this library so don't have to drive all the way to Tucson.

My name is Marvina Armstrong. I came down from Washington state with a lot of issues. I need to get relief from the pain that I had in my jaws. I found her online and decided that I would have this massage and what a big difference it made. I would recommend anybody that has TMJ issues to contact Diane for this massage that helped me so much. I am so grateful and thankful. She’s very knowledgeable and told me exactly what I needed to do for exercise. She’s perfect for Tmj . I wish I could take her home with me …,
I have seen Diann as needed for a number of years. It is obvious that Diann cares about her clients and strives to get to the root of any issues. She has helped me deal with a number of issues caused by past injuries. I always leave a treatment feeling better. And, she often gives me positions or exercises to do at home to supplement her MFR work. MFR is quite gentle yet does so much to deal with tight and sore parts of the body. I highly recommend Diann !
I have been getting myofascial release from Diann for years. She is amazing and the technique is great. She did a release right after I sprained a foot and it unwound and I had mobility right away with almost no discomfort.
