Sooooo gorgeous. Beautiful trail! Walk the whole thing if you can. There's a great beach spot I think it's after the pet cemetery, can't miss it either way. Not much parking so you usually have to wait a few minutes for someone to leave to get a spot.
Amazing, beautiful island with wooded walking trails and oceanview and breeze. Very good for the soul.
Would love to keep this beautiful little place all to myself but that would be unfair! Absolutely gorgeous little piece of heaven right at your fingertips! About a mile and a half or so loop trail, several beach spots, flat trail (small rocks/roots but is very easily navigable & Nuna stroller friendly. Possibly power wheelchair friendly!) There is a small fee (I think it’s $3/pp) and is cash only. The parking lot is small too so we had to wait a bit to park. You could park across the bridge and walk over if you’d like but it would add probably an extra half mile or to your walk (so something to be mindful of if you decide to do this!) Highly recommend for anyone of any age and ability! There is also a small bathroom at the beginning of the trailhead.
We had a nice walk here. Very pretty perimeter trail.
The island features a walking trail that leads all the way around the island. There are a couple of access points that lead down to the shore. It is a very popular attraction with very limited parking. There is one handicap parking space. A pit toilet is the public restroom. Leash law in effect.
Quiet. A beautiful place to relax, read a book or just take in Casco Bays breeze filled with sailboats for the view. The parking is limited for the entryway is under construction. There's a clean area for toilet use or changing into bathing suit. The island had been the Baxter School for the Deaf. There's history on this island. Close to Rt. 1. It's worth the visit.
Gorgeous views, stately grounds, quaint beaches. The unnecessarily fit people being unaccountably athletic on the walking trail ruined the enjoyment of my double rueben sandwich.
This was my favorite hike! Perfect for alone time, family time or exercise! Such a beautiful place in nature makes you feel refreshed!

The experience with Lyman was fantastic. We took a two hour introduction lesson with him (my teenage daughter and myself). He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and most importantly great with communicating to my 14 year old. He was very patient, kind and made the lesson a very memorable one. He had her involved in all aspects of the boat and explained in simple terms the key pieces to look for in sailing. Bonus part was that we saw a seal check us out from the water. It's also a beautiful place to sail. Would highly recommend it.

This site has many trails. Maps and signs about animals you may see. Great place to walk.
As always, it’s a great place to visit. Lots of family friendly trails.
Quick walk in the woods just mins away from the Old Port. Enjoyable and calming.
Very nice place to spend the day in nature!
This is a great place to visit with young or old people. Lots of hiking trails and different habitats to view wildlife. The building is light and airy with a big lecture hall and a delightful gift shop. We were lucky to see the lovely sage thrasher that has arrived in recent weeks, about 2000 miles from his home territory.
Absolutely beautiful and TONS of birds to watch
A beautiful hidden treasure tucked away off Route 1. Woods, marshland, and meadows will delight any and all who enjoy being in nature. Friendly turkeys as well!
Great place! Several trails lead to woods and sea. Nice building with a gift type book store. Items on display including things kind can touch. Various activities are held at different times.

Michael always puts on great shows in this small community theater. I've been many times since they first opened and I've never been disappointed!
Had a great time and lots of laughs. Well done! Go, you'll be glad you did.
Who needs to watch the GOLDEN BATCHELOR when this adorable play can uplift you without the crying and drama ! The Romancin go round cast provided a zany but lovable prospective of love after loss in our later years. The commercials brought back such memories. Thanks for a great show!
We recently saw "You're In My (Inappropriate) Thoughts" at Footlight Theatre. It was our first time there. The play was great - very funny and the actors did a top-notch job. It's an intimate theater, as it only has about 20 - 25 seats, but that means there isn't a bad seat in the house.
Intimate venue, not a bad seat in the house. The story lines keep you glued to the actors. Funny, often, thought provoking, always. A little sad, a little scared. It's what theater is all about. Huzzah Michael!
I've been to this theater in Falmouth three times for shows and have loved them all. The current show The Colors of my Life is fabulous, the actors were great and had me on the edge of my seat with tears in my eyes, it was that moving.
What a special little theater we have! It's an intimate setting and all the seats are good ones! There's an excellent variety of plays and we're lucky to have so many good actors and such a little gem of a theater.
Live theater is alive and well in Falmouth. Keep up the great work Michael. RBG interview performance written by you and your choice of Jackie Oliveri was right and fantastic and you should copy right the play so the World can enjoy it too!!!

Wonderful facility that served as the perfect placed to watch a lovely ballet performance. The dancers were all incredibly elegant and talented! My whole family was awe struck by their artistry!
My 12 yr old daughter just moved from another studio to take classes here. She loves it and is feeling like it is the most professional school she has been in. As a parent, I appreciate the professionalism in the organization. Tuition is very affordable compared to other schools. So far, no "hidden" add on costs that can make you feel strong armed because you don't want "ruin your daughters life" by trying to keep a reasonable budget. Plus, who wouldn't want to see their daughter onstage at Merrill Auditorium a few times a year! We drive an hour and a half each way at least three times a week. It is and investment but worth it for the excellence!
Only reason Emma is a featured dancer is because she’s the granddaughter of the owner. As a former dancer I can tell you she’s really not that good. The rest of the dancers are all really good
Can-Can Parisien was a fun and fast placed. You have time for this.
Alice in Wonderland was a great show!
The owners are super friendly.
ALICE IN WONDERLAND WAS FANTASTIC.
Very Professional Teachers! I love it. :)

Renovated in 2020, and now such a great space and community resource! It has a beautiful entryway, lovely outside green space, and ample parking. Inside it just gets better. A large section for adults, quiet group or independent study, small classrooms, and a whole wing of the building for kids. One room is dedicated more for teens, and the other is for younger kiddos, including a large space that toddlers are babies can crawl around while their older siblings are browsing books. They have also added a little shelf of toys and a craft table right by the baby book section, toddlers beeline it right there and love it! Programming is great too, especially for littles. The staff is amazing as well, can't ask for a better town library!
Love the space and option to get private rooms, but the hours are not great. The library closes at 5PM most nights!! People that need it after work or students who need it after school really don't have a lot of time to utilize this space and it's resources. Please consider staying open at least until 6 on most school nights, but 7 would be even better. Maybe compromise by closing earlier on Fridays and Saturdays?
The Falmouth and Yarmouth libraries are two of the best places to work or just read that I’ve ever experienced, especially after each did extensive renovations. You can understand a lot about a community by the quality of their libraries.
The Falmouth Library is a delightful little place. We go almost weekly for singalong and story time on Saturday mornings. Mr. Will is great with the kids and it's always a cheerful way to start our weekend. The children's corner has a wonderful selection of books, and a decent collection of toys for kids to play with.
Love this library! Helpful and friendly staff. Just visiting? You can purchase a library card to take advantage of the Maine interlibrary system. I really appreciate that this location is open all day on Saturdays.
Nice modern, clean, and quiet library, with friendly staff. I was even able to get a meeting room to take a business call for two hours.
What a resource! It is heartening to witness a wealthy community investing in important institutions in this way. Some would argue it's easy when you have the bucks, but I prefer to think of it as an example of "giving back".
Have been going to the library here since it was tiny! Took my daughter when she was little - many happy times. Great place, good books.

After yesterdays rain storm! I caught the peak of high tide with rain floods, it made it extra beautiful!! Definitely was to dangerous to swim! STAY AWARE 👆🌊👇
Tons of loons, osprey, a bald eagle and even a seal?! Highly recommend for excellent wildlife viewing.
We had an absolutely awesome time doing the short 2.5 mile hike from Oak nut Trail to presumpscot Falls! Very kid friendly, until you get to the falls, then you need to be careful around the ledges and near the water! We also found plenty of salamanders and a frog.
I didn't enjoy this park. There was parking, then a short walking trail to the river. Not much to do or see at all. There are many better places to see the water... Oats Nuts (nearby) park is a much better experience.
Trail along river. A few parking spots off road. Banks of river extremely muddy and slippery as far as river access. Decent for a short hike.
Found this spot on a drive. Had my fishing poles with me but did not catch anything. Still beat working! Nice place to watch Osprey and Cormorant fish ! They are much better at it then I am ! Lol
Just a stroll through the woods, won't see any falls. Private property sign blocking the rest of the trail. !! Watch out for ticks!! Found 4 of them on my dog when leaving the trail.
Dogs behave, people don’t! Everything else is fantastic.

Nice trails down to the river. The lookout point is also a great vantage point for photos!
Small trail good place to fish. Kinda steep walk down to Presumpscot River... 28 mile river...
Wonderful place to take a short walk. Trail leads down to the river and you can see the bridge from below. Great walk to help build endurance and strength if you need the physical therapy. Parking on spot and area was clean.
This used to be a great place to launch a kayak for a nice paddle up the river or down the river and around Mackworth Island. Now the dock has been removed and the bank is steep and slippery.
A small parking lot is the start of an easy, but steep, trail down to the water. At the end there is a public dock down to the river. Be careful at low tide as the ramp gets very steep and slippery. Off of the main pathway are a number of smaller foot trails leading up the river to the dam. From there you can put in a boat out choose to float back down to the dock. It's a popular place for many to swim, and engage in other water sports. Also a popular place for people to bring their dogs, there is no leash law in the park, so be aware there may be dogs running around.
Nice scenery but the people drinking heavily on the dock wasn't what I wanted to see when I floated up on a tube with my child. Also, I don't recommend the ropes swing unless you're prepared to pull something.
Went fishing. Nice peaceful place.
Nice big parking area. Wide, twisting path down to the water. Steep in some places, but a beautiful space. Swimming looked good!

My hubby & I are visiting Maine from Roch, NY. I contacted this cemetery & spoke with Gardner Roberts. He wasn't available the day we went to see my Grandparents grave but a wonderful gentleman (Dennis) was there. He took the time to take us right to the section & lot. He was SO helpful & I can't thank him enough. This cemetery should be so proud to have these super nice guys working for them in Falmouth. Thank you so much !!
The staff are very helpful and accommodating
