I thoroughly enjoyed my river trip with Far Flung! Martie was a thoughtful and knowledgeable guide. She was careful and always trying to keep us safe and comfortable, while enjoying the trip and having fun. Jasmine, her interp was great! I learned a few things from her, and I really appreciate her taking the time to learn interesting details about the area here. One thing I love about being on the river is how your mind is at peace, and you have no thoughts – except about the beauty around you. Such a lovely experience, I highly recommend! Thank you to the entire staff.!!
Absolutely Amazing!!! So comfortable and clean, well kept- you can tell they take so much pride in maintaining the facilities! This is 5 star camping. Lovely little resort with amenities like yard games, pool and hot tub which are perfect to unwind at the end of the day. Little coffee shop onsite was perfect, but you have everything you need in the cabins to get you by if you’d rather DIY. Amazing adventure services- we did the Jeep tour and had so much fun! Wish we could have stayed longer- can’t wait to come back! Outstanding service from everyone we came across!
Wife and I did the 6 hour Round The Bend Jeep tour on Oct. 30. Chris was our guide and was fantastic in all respects - park knowledge, conversation and humor. We made frequent stops to discuss points of interest and Chris would also make stops at our request for things that caught our eye. Far Flung provided a filling lunch that included homemade salsa that was excellent. Jeep well maintained. Passengers ride in an elevated platform where visibility was great. Office staff is professional, courteous and on the ball; they really go out of their way to answer any questions and ensure customers have a great experience. I highly recommend Far Flung for your Big Bend excursions, we’ll likely do Far Flung’s Rio Grande Canoe tour during our next visit. We did not stay at the Far Flung hotel/casita property.
We spent six wonderful nights with FFOC, four nights in a Casita and two nights canoeing on the Rio Grande in Santa Elena Canyon. It was our second visit to FFOC because we were treated so well the first time, we had to return! Our Casita was perfectly designed and stocked as a base to explore the Big Bend area. Parking is close to facilitate loading and unloading our gear. A great home away from home in a beautiful location! Our canoe trip into Santa Elena Canyon with our guide Nick and three traveling companions was a ‘lifetime experience’. Besides being an expert river guide; Nick is a great chef who would be at home in any fine restaurant; an expert concierge, capable of performing miracles in the middle of the Chihuahuan Desert and an accomplished storyteller and comedian. As we are a couple of advancing years (77 & 81), Nick was always looking out for us without being overly solicitous. Whether it was getting our canoe through a shallow area or helping us navigate a rapid current, Nick was on station. Our campsite was a beautiful opening in the canyon which was perfect for a two night stay. Thanks Nick for an awesome trip. We had a great week with FFOC and are looking forward to booking our next visit. Thanks again to Jessica and Nick for everything you did to make our stay a memorable experience!
This place was wonderful. The casitas was clean and new. I also like that they had no carpet on the floors. The shower with the rain shower head and glass sliding doors was a bonus. The sofa in the sitting area was so nice to have for early evening relaxing after returning from one of FFOD exceptional full day float trips. The sheet and mattress cover were like staying at a 5 star hotel. Matter of fact, I asked where they were purchased and ordered some for my own bed. I can’t say enough about this place. Find out for yourself and you’ll be happy you did.
We loved our stay at Far Flung. Our casita was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed a far flung adventure canoeing on the river. Beautiful scenery and great guides. We will definitely stay here again. Ask about stargazing tours with Astromucho. Coffee shop was wonderful also.
This is the place! We LOVED our stay at Far Flung Outdoor Center. The location is perfect. The cabin was awesome. The amenities were plentiful (pool on site, games, grill, ice, coffee shop, views, etc.). And the staff is the BEST (especially Bill). Everyone at Far Flung goes out of their way to be friendly and helpful. They do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. We can hardly wait to return. Highly recommended!
My experiences with Far Flung Outfitters have been in 2010, 2015, 2020 and 2025. It started with rafting, then kayaking and canoeing. That was just a week ago with a 3 day, 2 night canoeing/camping trip. Far Flung has been great each time I have returned and in one or two years when I canoe the Bouquillas Canyon they will be again. The service and meal preparation by the guides( Nick & Molly this time ) have been exceptional. There is also nothing better than a one or two night post trip casita stay also hosted by Far Flung. My only complaint and not with Far Flung is the 3 flights from Shelburne, Vermont to reach Midland, Texas, but what the heck, there is nothing like the beauty of West Texas.

My friends and I did the sunset ride and had an amazing time. The guide was knowledgeable and funny and all of the horses were incredibly well trained. Our group ranged from a first time rider to an experienced rider and we all had a wonderful time seeing the desert from horseback. For all the horse people that are also nervous of over used horses, these were all very well maintained and you could tell they’re healthy and happy. Shrek was very easy to neck reign and redirect the few times it was needed.
My wife and I did a sunset trail ride at Big Bend Stables and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Evo, our guide, made sure we had a great time, pointing out historical sites and geographic features, sharing stories of the area, and offering tips on other local activities to try. We followed his recommendation and did the Lost Mine Trail hike in Big Bend National Park the next morning, and he was absolutely right on. Can’t go wrong with him as your guide or trip consultant. Tell Evo we sent you when you go for a ride.
My boyfriend and I did a morning 2 hour old mine tour and it was wonderful! Our tour guide was great at explaining things along the way and took amazing photos of us at the top. I will say some parts of the journey were a little scary for a beginner horseback rider but overall it was such a fun time!
The stable was conveniently located right on the main road. Our guides were very fun, friendly, and informative. The ride was relaxing, scenic, and affordable. We would definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area.
We came here back in April and I forgot to leave a review we have been busy on a cross country trip. Our whole family loved the ride and our guide Armando was amazing i will never forget Armando and my stubborn horse shandor. Would definitely recommend if your in the big bend area
Incredible experience! Our guides, Armando and Mackenzie were knowledgeable and fun! We highly recommend! The sunset tour was well worth it!
Did the sunset ride from 4-6pm - incredible and the views and lighting were gorgeous. Hermando and Javi were the best guides. Hilarious, knowledgeable and fun. Would go again anytime! Was a really authentic, special experience.
Our experience with Big Bend Stables was unforgettable! Our guide Evo made the ride very personable and comfortable the entire time. He gave us inside information about the town and life in Terlingua, which made us love the area more. We went on the half day with lunch at the Lajitas location. We got to experience the beauty of Big Bend Ranch State Park from a different view (on the side is a cliff). It was shocking to see where we started and where we ended up at the top. Evo even took some amazing pictures of the two of us! The food that was provided was favorable and filling and consisted of smoked chicken, cheese, crackers, vegetables, apples, corn, and Oreos. When we come back we will book the sunset experience and request Evo as our guide. :)

We had a great trip down the Rio Grande. Everyone at Big Bend River Tours was helpful and readily answered our questions ahead of the trip. Elizabeth provided great guidance on what to pack / bring for the changing weather throughout the full day trip. Our guide, Sage, was awesome. We saw some spectacular views and got great insight into where to eat, where best to see the sunset and best places to hike for the rest of our stay! I highly recommend the Hot Springs Full Day Tour
What a day! Our guide (Maggie) was very knowledgeable of the entire Big Bend Area. We learned so much on our way to the canoe launch spot. The trip on this dying river the Rio Grande, through the canyon is something everyone should do before the river is gone. What a beautifully rustic, desolate, peaceful place. So much to see, I am glad we did the day trip. Put this trip on your bucket list!
My husband and I had a great time on the 8 hour Santa Elena Canyon river trip. James and Alec were great guides. James was very knowledgeable (he has many, many years of experience) so he made the trip even more interesting. Alec was so sweet & helpful - he even saved one of my shoes by diving in after it when it got stuck in some pretty gnarly mud. The lunch was surprisingly good and fulfilling. I am such a “lady” and a momma - so I am used to packing my own food & drinks, but James gave us a warning at their office that morning that they had us covered & all we would need were our water bottles. Glad I took his advice & left my little cooler behind because the loading and unloading of all the gear is literally not for the faint of heart. Pack light, people! They are telling the truth here & the lunch was just enough food & enjoyable. They took us on a hike too, which was a nice filler since the water level was pretty low. The sights of this area are definitely worth seeing and listening to the stories & great information made it worth the sore muscles! lol, it’s quite sobering to see what a desk job does to you when you get out and move your body for a few days straight. Exercise has nothing on being out in God’s country hiking and rowing about. We recommend this tour. It’s worth it.
Loved this! It was a bit of a half river bed hike and half paddle but so worth it. Saw lots of local wildlife and flora. Learned A LOT about Big Bend, Rio Grande and more. Our guide Hannah was beyond knowledgeable, and Gay called to make sure the weather cooperated with our day. Since we had a flexible schedule we were able to move it to a less windy day and we appreciate the foresight and planning on her part to prepare for that! Highly recommend to get to know the area.
Although the guides and employees were amazing, friendly, warm/welcoming, and the equipment was in great shape, the Rio is just too low to enjoy well, in my opinion. This was known ahead of time and advertised on the website, and of course, it was not modifiable, but still. There is a $50 dollar change if you are the only one who books a time, as well. Again, noted on the site. The area is beautiful.
My husband and I took the tour. We signed up for the all day tour because the half day was filled. We were a little worried that it would be too long and exhausting. The total trip 8 am to 4 pm was long, but much of it spent in the van getting a tour entering the park and loading, unloading, and eating lunch. So it was about four hours actually on the river and it was not hard paddling. It was very hot but the guides got us into shade as much as they could. They provided water and lunch. The water level was low when we went so we used canoes. It was enjoyable and it was made much more enjoyable by the guides who shared stories and knowledge of the region and its history. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Texas and New Mexico. If you are looking for rapids and lots of excitement you will need to go when the water level is high.
5 STAR TOUR. HIGHLY RECOMMEND booking! EVEN IF YOU’VE NEVER DONE THIS! I’M NEW TO THIS TOO! I’m so glad my 1st experience as a solo traveler was at Big Bend National Park. It was tranquil, spiritual and life changing. My experience in joining the Santa Elena River tour in a canoe was PERFECTION! OMG. And the cherry on top was being guided by an amazing man named Jared. His experience and knowledge of the park and Terlingua is INSANELY IMPRESSIVE. This experience will forever be a core memory that I cannot wait to recreate with my family. It was an exceptional time, exceptional service, exceptional views. THANK YOU! If you’re comparing this tour with others, you’re wasting your time LOL. This is the gold-standard of all national park tours. Much can be learned from this company.
Our Dark Canyon trip was great. Even though the water was low, we enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the peaceful paddle. Our guide Sage was very knowledgeable about the local history and geology and was very willing to share! Oh, and even though we had accidentally booked for the wrong Wednesday, the team at BBRT was able to put a trip together for us in 15 minutes!

Great food. Had live music while we were there. Bit of a wait, but very manageable. Would definitely go again. I had the ribeye, it was exelent came with mashed potatoes and a cauliflower broccoli mix. My fiance had the quail. With the same sides.
Nice building in and out. It got its name, Starlight when there was no roof. They shave a roof now and still have a stage and dancefloor. Nice range of food for all. The chicken fried Texas antelope was tender, unique and delicious. The gravy was based on lone star beer . It was thick and the flavors of beer present from first to last bite.
Wereso glad we changed our dinner plans and went to Starlight Theatre instead. Great atmosphere, tasty food, and super friendly service. Genna was our server and she was fabulous! Don't miss this restaurant if your in Terlinqua!
Make sure you get a reservation!!! If not, you’ll be eating at the bar or later in the evening. Place opens at 5PM. Food was very good and sitting at the bar was fine. Very busy when they first open but seems to go quick as most are there to fulfill their bucket lists. Lol. Very friendly staff and a full bar.
Arrive early (or late) or wait for a table, but it's worth it. We went Friday night around 7 and it was a two hour wait, we came back Saturday late and were sat pretty quickly a few songs before the live music concluded. The food is fantastic, don't sleep on the quail with the blueberry sauce... Who knew! Great service, fun atmosphere. It's a good sized place but it gets busy so plan accordingly. Parking is easy with a large dirt parking lot, I mean it is a ghost town right? We split the mixed grill and it was plenty for two.
Good restaurant with variety of options. Tried antelope for the first time. It was good. Didn't blow my mind or anything. Chili was good as well but it is texas style, and I prefer beans in my chili. I had the chicken saute and my girlfriend had salad with grilled salmon. We both enjoyed our dinners and were too full for dessert. Jenna our server was great. They don't do separate checks which is stupid but oh well. Just do the math yourself and they will charge the credit cards accordingly. Highly recommend if you're willing to wait!
My husband and I went to our big bend anniversary adventure. We had our anniversay dinner here and did not disappoint. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great also. Our server was excellent. If I could give 10 stats I would.
we loved everything about the starlight theatre. the food was very good. we had the brussel sprouts (huge portion), they were fantastic. i had the chicken sandwich and my hubby had the chili. all was good. drinks were great, not a good selection of craft beer so i was forced to drink liquor 😳. i enjoyed both drinks. had a scorpion margarita. the prices are very reasonable. overall we loved it!

One of the best exhibits I have visited. Definitely worth a stop. I loved the way geologic time of Big Bend was displayed. It has just the right amount of information to gain an overall understanding. We walked along the botanical garden as well, which is very nicely designed. We walked up to the scenic overlook and the view was spectacular! Great job, Texas State Parks!!
Great place for a visit before entering Big Bend Ranch State Park. The park Ranger's advice on what to do, what to look out for, and how to prepare was golden. The park is huge, and driving it takes giant blocks of time, and there is next to no one around. The visitor center has drinks, maps, trinkets, and all the miscellaneous you'd expect for a giant park. Don't skip the check-in, or no one will know you're there and not know to try and find you if something goes sideways.
We were wandering the area and saw this Welcome Center. It's run by the parks department and has an excellent little museum inside that gives a brief outline of the history of the area to include the forming of the rocks and dinosaurs and such in the area while also providing information about the natural wildlife and a history of the area and the individuals who have lived there. It was free and had air conditioning which is very very important when you happen to go visiting a place that's like 100° outside but has a feel like temperature of 114. Has a cute little gift shop at the parks department with some items that are related directly to the park and then of course your usual run-of-the-mill bug spray stuff like that. It was actually very clean and very well tended and the Personnel that we met and spoke with were very nice.
Very clean and well maintained. The exhibit is very educational and air conditioned. Also loved the desert garden. Well worth the stop!
Great introduction to the State Park. We walked the grounds and enjoyed the fact that they identify the plants you see in the area. Lots of rabbits and random lizards enjoying the garden also. Hike to the top of the hill provided a nice view of the area. The exhibit at the visitor center is awesome. It’s very well done and an informative to help you understand the area and how it was formed. I learned quite a bit of detail that I had no idea about in regard to the mountain ranges in the area. Make sure you spend some time here!
Small visitor center, the have some apparel, lots of books, memorabilia, trinkets, and other items. The Rangers there were extraordinarily helpful in helping plan my back country stay, pointing out interesting things to go see and visit. Well worth the stop even considering it's where you pay your daily and camping fees.
Very nice center with a large garden area exhibiting many varieties of desert plants. There is a short hike up to an overlook over the Comanche Trail. The employees are great about providing maps and info.
Fantastic! I hit every state park headquarters/visitors center I possibly can, with my state park passport booklet in hand & ready to get a patch for my collection. IMO So far the only visitors center that can compare in quality is South Llano River! Perfectly accessible for my wheelchair, lots of relevant & informative products, abundant information about the park & region, & an awesome employee (Willow) who was so helpful & sweet! Just try to start here before going to the park, because they're many miles apart

So many cool souvenirs and the building is amazing. Plenty of car stickers to choose from, if that's your thing. Other souvenirs are what you would expect from a shop in this region. It also has a good variety books for the book lovers out ther.
Had a marvelous time last Thanksgiving, booked a canoe trip and Jeep tour. They were outstanding! I love this company have been using them since 1994.
This is a great place to grab a beverage so you can sit on the porch and enjoy the atmosphere. Lone Star beer is only $10 per 6 pack. They also have tons of souvenirs if you want something to remember your trip by.
Cool gift shop. Its large and has plenty of options for clothing, gifts, or souvenirs.
There were a lot of fun and interesting things to see in the souvenir shop, so it was nice to look around.
We enjoyed looking around the old time general store. The Starlight restaurant was only open at dinner, and it had long wait times, so we didn't eat there. The ghostown was a lot of fun to check out, and the Terlingua history was interesting to learn about.
We loved this place. Close to Big Bend!! You can explore all the property and find anywhere to set up your tent. We found a wonderful spot. Nice to have restrooms on the property that isn't too far away. I enjoyed the shower as well. Very cute setup. We will definitely be back!
What a great place! Not only are you seeing and experiencing history in the making, you have a rich choice of gifts to choose from to take back home to friends and family...coffee from the region, textiles, rocks, precious stones, antiques, etc. Be prepared to spend some time here!!!

Never came here, based off reviews I’m assuming it’s amazing and I’m considering taking the tour but I wanted to warn everyone the website link will redirect to a suspicious gambling website.
Our first time in a tiny plane and we were not disappointed! Marcos was great! We had to push back our flight time and he was very accommodating (we lucked out with good evening weather). The views are spectacular. Such a cool way to get a different perspective on Big Bend. Marcos is very knowledgeable about the area, it’s history, and the local politics. Highly recommend this tour!
Did a 1.5 hour tour with Marcos. Great guide, showed us all the sites of the state-park and national. Amazing to see this area from the sky. He knew lots about geology, the history, and the park itself (being a former Park ranger). In the future, you probably only need 1 hour MAX, not 1.5 hr. Price is reasonable for the amount of time in the air.
My wife and I just took a 90 minute flight with Marcos over both parks and the Devil's playground. It was truly amazing scenery. Flying over such a vast space is really the only way to get a true perspective of the entire landscape. Marcos was a superb and knowledgeable pilot and guide. He also took a range of Covid measures: masks, temperature checks etc.
My husband and I took a one hour tour. It was a great time well worth the money our pilot/owner was very knowledgeable and friendly. My husband forgot his sunglasses in the plane and he was able to find them for him. Fantastic scenery a must do if you're in the area.
This was the #1 thing we where looking for on our Big Bend trip and he canceled last minute and blamed Covid. I literally called him and asked if everything was still on 2 weeks before the flight and he said yes Covid isn't shutting much down here and guaranteed me he would be open. But 5 days before the flight he claimed he had "a new policy" and was very short and fast to get off the phone. He could of cared less. *If another pilot is reading this you could make a fortune by doing flight tours in Big Bend because he knows he is the only one in town and his service sucks.
One of the most unique experiences in the Big Bend. You can even fly over THE big bend where the Rio turns northeast and forms what is one of the most notable features of the Texas border. Prices vary by season, but worth the cost. Breathtaking mile high views of some of the most interesting terrain on the planet. Pro tip: Ask Pilot Marcos Paredes to tell you some stories about his experience as a BBNP Ranger for many years, or ask Pilot Alex Whitmore to sing you his Terlingua song "79852"
It's a must if you visit the Big Bend area!!!!!!!! Nicest plane ride I have had. Marcos (pilot) is very knowledgeable about the area. Worth the time and money for this adventure.

AMAZING time in st Elena Canyon Big Bend with brilliant guide Billy. We were travelling from Uk and Mike let us know that river levels were low so our expectations were a bit mixed. Don’t be put off if you hear this, as long as you don’t mind getting wet feet in this awesome canyon when water gets too low to paddle and you can just push your boat for a few metres and BOOM! Our 14 year managed it without any issue solo so you don’t need to be strong to push a little!! Camping under the stars, delicious catering; an absolute highlight of Texas and worth the 8 hour drive from Dallas and then some. This is a trip to get on your list and these are the guys to take you. Only wish we had more time, we did a 2 day trip and would have been happy with a few more nights even though hate camping 😂😂 (we will email you the Insta360shots when at a laptop if you want guys)
We did a canoe full day ride to the hot springs area, with a family of 10. 3 kids ages 5,7,7 and they all did great and had a blast. The kids had a paddle in the front which kept them entertained. No one flipped over! We had a great break in the middle of the float with a wonderful lunch that Zach had ready for us after we swam in the river and the hot springs. Billy and Zach were fantastic, they had to help us out of some tight spaces a few times. Even the grandparents did great at 68 years old. It was a big tiresome in the end because it got hot. But overall it was an amazing experience with breathtaking views. Highly recommend it. Worth the price.
We had an awesome experience with Desert Sports. They were so accommodating - we had a Texas State Park pass so they helped us fill out the dashboard sticker in the morning and dropped off the day’s park registration so we could follow them into the park and at the conclusion of our canoe trip continue on our own for more hiking and exploring. The guides were very helpful on the canoe trip with their expertise on the river and helping through low water spots. It was fun to talk with them about local Terlingua knowledge as well as the BBRSP and the Big Bend National Park. Will definitely choose this outfitter again.
We did a 15 mile round trip mountain bike tour with Billy and it was awesome! We got lucky with great weather and conditions for riding. I rented a bike/helmet and the equipment was in perfect condition. The coolest part for me was being able to explore abandoned mines at the end of the trail. Billy made sure to educate us on the history of big bend state park and explain technical spots on the trail that might take a little extra caution. Great experience definitely recommend this to active visitors wanting to see more of the park! Even though we have varying levels of experience mountain biking, the tour felt very tailored to our ability level.
We had a wondering time with Billy and Zach on the river. We had a large group (13 in total) and were able to schedule this ahead of time. We were shuttled by Bobski and Buckner out to the put in spot, loaded up our canoes and took off. Most of us had minimal experience, but both guides were helpful and accommodating. We were able to spend a lovely day swimming, eating an amazing all vegan meal prepped by the guides, and they pointed out lots of different things to see along the river. We were guided through a few smaller rapids, paddled through some still water, and got out to swim several times. Our drivers and guides were so kind and fun to hang out with! We had a blast and definitely would go back again! Desert Sports was super communicative and easy to work with.
My family and I went on an excellent canoe river tour with Desert Sports. Their guide Billy was extremely knowledgeable about the areas flora and fauna, and kept us wonderfully entertained with his West Texas guide lore! We will definitely be back, and hope to rent some mountain bikes for the next excursion.
We loved our raft tour down the Rio Grande with our tour guide. We liked the fact that it was just us on our private tour rather than a group of several rafts. We stopped for lunch and our guide provided a great meal. He was extremely knowledgeable about the flora, fauna and geology of the area and constantly pointed out things to us during the entire trip. All around a great experience. We plan to come back and do a multi day trip we liked it so much.
My buddy and I just spent a week in Big Bend, and we used Desert Sports for mountain bike rentals as well as a half-day canoe tour. Mike (the owner) outfitted us with top-spec bikes, and he spent a lot of time with us beforehand to make sure everything was properly sized and adjusted, and that we were well-prepared for the ride. A great experience all around! Then two days later we met Billy for a canoe tour down the Rio Grande. Billy was AWESOME! He also took his time with us beforehand, making sure we understood the ins and outs of what we could expect out of the adventure. Then once we were underway he was both an excellent guide as well as a great teacher. We came away with a better understanding of the flora and fauna in and around the river, and he also provided a good deal of historical context of the people and geological events that have shaped the modern Rio Grande. A truly amazing guide, and a wonderful experience.

Nice selection. The owner is a little grumpy and you feel a bit scared to ask questions or haggle. Cabs were a little expensive, but i wanted something to commemorate my trip so I paid more.
Many Stones has a tremendous variety of semi precious and precious stones and minerals, both raw and finished. The proprietor, Mr. Ring Huggins was an avid rockhound and Lapidarist and produced an unmatched collection of cabochon’s ready to be made into jewelry. He has a fabulous collection of his own jewelry pieces and creations as well as an impression collection of well-made, handmade knives for use by hunters, fishermen and even for many home uses. Anyone with children will find them mesmerized by the collection of minerals and stones. I highly recommend a visit.
💎🏴‍☠️Dazzling Treasure Trove find in the desert!!! 🏜️ 🌵Largest variety of cut & polished Lapidary material in far West Texas!! Knowledge, personality and wonder awaits in this gem, stones, exotic cacti, jewelry, geodes, fossils, pots, trinkets, crafts, Pottery classes, etc. shop a.k.a. treasure chest. Mr. Ring Higgins has a strong 50 + year background that includes teaching at remote Native reserves which inspired the shop name:) Ask him about his garden and innovative watering system. Unique experience to savor from your trip found here. Prices (cash & check accepted only) reasonable & quality of the stones is exceptional. If you're in the area (Owner was helpful also in questions for direction of Grocery store et al which was crucial) and have an appreciation for beautiful stones and crystals, I highly recommend visiting Many Stones shop. *Many Stones is a unique store located in Terlingua,Tx. conveniently situated 80 miles south of Alpine & 2 Miles north of Big Bend National Park entrance on Hwy 118 📍
Great little spot to grab some small West Texas souvenirs. You can tell the place has had a long history. The owner was very nice and easy going. Stop in for some cool carved or not stones or some silver jewelry at a very reasonable price
There for sure were many stones. The stones were great -- just a heads up you need cash because cards aren't accepted. There were some odd political signs, including a quote from Hitler and a Confederate flag.
We have made three trips to Big Bend this past year, stopping by to see Ring, the owner of Many Stones is always a part of our itinerary. He has a great place with lots of cool rocks, handmade jewelry, made by Ring and cacti for sale. We love to shop here and visit Ring. He always has cool stories to tell. Stop by and say hello, cash only.
Nice shop. Rocks and some cute plants. Nice outdoor open air section for shopping. More stones inside that I did not go in to look at, but plenty outside for me to find a few things to purchase. Nice shop. Would recommend if in the area!
