First, the drive to get here from Tallahassee is absolutely beautiful. It's one of my favorite drives, to be honest. For the beach itself, it's gorgeous. It's not as crowded so you are able to find a spot without having to sit right next to someone. The ocean is cool but not freezing. It's very clean! You can tell the people who live there and those that come to visit actually respect the area. There's trash cans to throw stuff out and people were double checking to make sure they didn't leave anything behind. I really enjoyed this beach and will definitely be coming back.
Beautiful place, Mexico Beach FL. I like the pier. Not too big but long enough to be out in the Gulf waters and make great photos of the beach, the waves and the sunset!!
Such a beautiful and relaxing place to go. Fun in the sun for all your family. Charming place, great atmosphere, and nice people. Stop and enjoy amazing fresh seafood at Killers.
We are so sad Mexico beach was devastated by Michael. God Bless the residents and businesses. We will be back to visit when the time comes. The Byrd family.
Love Mexico Beach. It never crowded, it's beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. People are missing out not going to the beaches on the forgotten coast.
This is a quiet place away from the large crowds and tourists. If you want some piece and quiet this is the place. There are more shells on this beach than other nearby locations and the pier is a draw for people who love to fish.
Beautiful place to visit, fun little ice cream shop close by too!
This place is gorgeous. We found more shells here than anywhere...water was a little rough the day we went but definitely worth it.

We wanted something for my older daughter to do while her sisters played in the sand so we called to rent a paddle board. The owner was very helpful and professional and she delivered the board straight to us in no time! My daughter had a blast with it and it kept her entertained the whole time. We were so impressed with the service we also rented a golf cart from them during our stay. Great company will definitely be renting from them again when we go back down. Thanks!
This lady has no people skills whatsoever. I rented an umbrella 2 days in a row. The first day she came to put the umbrella up she said something about chairs and I told her we didn’t need chairs so she snapped back saying she knows we don’t need chairs! The whole time she was talking about the wind blowing 20 knots. The second day her employee came out to put the umbrella up and she came over and snatched the pole away from her and started a new hole and began to tell us then that the wind was blowing 20 knots and that if it didn’t die down that she would come take our umbrella cause they are $300 each. The wind was no different than the day before. She never showed back up so we got to keep the umbrella all day but the attitude was horrible and the way she treated her employee in front of us was very uncalled for. I would not work for her or ever do business with her again. The website gives 2 different prices $10 and $20 a day for an umbrella with no chairs and when I asked the difference she got rude about that as well. So unprofessional I understand that things cost and people have bad days but don’t take it out on everyone around you.
At first was happy with quick response, price was compatible, charged $166.92 then we decided another day, she said she would charge 1/2 price for 2nd day. She picked up said we hit something which we didn't. We are all adults and would own up to if we had. She was rude like we were lying and charged my card without notifying me in advance for additional $368.92. Needless to say, my husband and I are NOT happy, will never use this company again.. You don't charge some ones card without they're approval, that's stealing. I should report you.
Can’t get any better than that! Called them and had a kayak within the hour. They dropped it off and picked it up, completely hassle free. I think the pricing was great, the service was great, and just getting out there in the water was great. Highly recommend A++
Currently lounging behind El Governor in these chairs under this umbrella and it was TOTALLY worth the cost to not have to lug our own chairs and umbrella out here. Perfect! We're reserving some again tomorrow!!
These guys are great! We had such fun riding around the area to explore. I highly recommend this activity and this company!
Well don’t rent from them you can not take the golf cart to beach can cross the road which to get to beach which was the purpose of renting it! Also saw my husband on it taking stuff to beach and got onto us for haveing too much stuff on it on back well thought that’s what it was for! You can only ride through a boring neighborhood over and over for $500 waters of money and time and the lady was very rude for you to pay that much for rental and get told you can only hit blocks behind you which is nothing!!!! WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY TAHT WE COULD HAVE SPENT SOMEWHERE ELSE WAY MORE WORTH IT SO DONT DO IT!
Called to inquire about renting a golf cart and the woman who answered the phone was extremely rude. Not a good first impression. Would not recommend based solely on customer service.

10/10 fishing guide, everything ran so smooth, put us right on the fish! Capt. Kevin, Sydney and Morgan are definitely the best of the best so kind and knowledgeable AND the boat WOW fantastic set up!! Plenty of room ! Will definitely book again! -oh and I would recommend lodging with them we didn’t get to do it but the set up is beautiful!! Amanda W.
We booked a sunset cruise with Captain Kevin and wow what an awesome experience! Kevin has a super chill demeanor and we found his wealth of knowledge about the area and local waterways very informative. We loved his comfortable big boat and yes that sunset was the icing on the cake. Can't wait to book a fishing trip with Kevin next time we are in town!
Our adventure was not that of deep sea fishing but one of spectacular views and sights that cannot be seen from the surface. Captain Kevin Lanier was my captain during 5 recent dives between December 29th-31st (yes, you read right...December!) His knowledge of the Gulf and his clients supersedes that of any other captain I have had the privilege of going out with. Captain Kevin took us to 5 amazing dive sites that did not disappoint. From MBARA reefs, barges, spools and wreckage my dive partner and I were able to witness the wonders beneath the waves. I highly recommend Captain Kevin for your adventures sea! Don't just take my word for it, let the pictures speak for themselves~ Tammie Mathews #saltplease
What a blast! It was the perfect way to watch a Mexico beach sunset. Kevin was awesome, he made sure we had a great trip!
My kids had an amazing time fishing with Morgan! They had a great afternoon trip after being rescheduled. I appreciated the constant communication from Kevin about the trip. We look forward to fishing with these guys again!!
Kevin and Morgan were SO great! Our group/family had a blast doing both a fishing trip (first one of the 2021 season!) as well as a cruise to Crooked Island. The boats were great - spacious and comfortable and in great condition and not only are Kevin and Morgan friendly, professional AND fun (a must when traveling with kids by boat) but they were excited about the fish, the boat, the ocean, the wildlife - all the things you know a boat captain has seen a thousand times. We saw dolphins on our way to Crooked Island and once spotted, Captain Kevin was quick to turn the boat around so we could get closer. Stories, camaraderie, laughter - it was an absolute blast and we can't wait to do it again. The water heading out to location for the fishing trip was a little rough and we had two 7-year old girls who went. Though one was sick on the way out, both could not stop talking about how much fun they had and how many fish they caught. They weren't bored or idle the entire time (6 hours! The adults weren't either!) as there was always something to do or something to catch or reel in. I was a bit hesitant about having them go but now, wouldn't think twice for the next time. I think our group ended up with 18 fish- some we ate and most we froze and brought back home to eat later. Captain Kevin seemed like an old friend, even stopping and chatting after seeing us in town a day or two later. I cannot recommend him enough! Should we return to Mexico Beach in the future, another trip with KC Sportfishing will be a must-do!
We are already planning our next Florida vacation, and our third fishing trip with you. Can’t wait! Very excited to fish off your new boat. The sunset cruise is also on the list. You have spoiled our expectations of “fishing” to “catching”!
KC Sportfishing has a new boat and it is spectacular! It was the best ride we have been on. Captain Kevin is a great person to spend the day with on the water and offers many different trips at various price points. If you don't fish then go on a Eco Tour or enjoy the amazing sunsets this area has to offer on a Sunset Cruise.

Captain Pete is the best. Our family had used him twice and had very successful fishing trips both time. He is a great person and a great Captain. 5 of us caught several fish and enjoyed his company. Looking forward to the next time. I recommend Captain Pete.
Captain Pete was awesome! We had a slow start and didn't catch a ton but Captain Pete didn't give up! Finished the day with a few nice keepers and an overall great experience! Will be back!
We had an excellent day out with Captain Pete! We caught more fish on a half day than we normally catch on a whole day out. The red snapper and vermillion were off the chain!!! Can't wait to do some inshore fishing with him again in December!
Captain Pete is awesome! We booked him for a full day off shore fishing trip. When we arrived he let us know that he wasn’t sure about going out off shore due to the wind, but that ultimately it was up to us. We followed his advice and switched to an inshore trip and had an absolute blast. He is very personable and it’s like fishing with an old friend. Every place we went we were getting bites as soon as our bait hit the water. We will absolutely be booking with him again.
Had a great fishing experience with captain pete.He changed our fishing trip up from what I had planned on so we would have a great fishing trip . Had 2 14 yr boys with me he was very patient with all of us and we learned alot and caught some really nice fish
Captain Pete is the best! If you want to catch fish this is the guy to use. Puts you on the fish, and will have you pulling up 2 at a time. Also word of advice tip your captains and crew, because they do all the work to keeping your rod baited and in the water.
Went out today for a spur of the moment trip. Had a great time caught tons of fish I will be returning in the future
Had a blast creating memories with my boys. Captain Pete put us right on a school of Spanish mackerel that were very fun for the boys to reel in 1, 2, 4 at a time! Thanks for the experience Captain Pete, we will be back!

Highly recommend. Captain and deck hand were so friendly and knowledgeable. Got our limit of red snapper and several other fish. Best deep sea fishing we have ever had. Defiantly will go back out with them again!!
Over the years I and my wife with out boys have gone out on three different occasions with Captain Chip and Curtis. As with most other reviewers, I agree that this is a fishing charter that is worth it’s salt. We’ve always had a blast with Captain Chip and Curtis and we have been fortunate to have a big catch each time. That however is never a given when fishing. The joy of being out on a boat on the deep ocean with my family and this crew is well worth the cost of the charter.
Awesome Fishing Charter. Highly recommend!!! Came down for a family beach trip. Captain Chip was able to fit us in for a small fishing excursion. He knew exactly were the fish were and we caught 3x the fish we initially expected. Curtis was very knowledge and quite entertaining. He is our go to whenever we visit Mexico Beach.
My name is Bill White and I have been out on the fine ship Miss Mary with Captain Chip and first mate Curtis 3 times over the last few years and for those of you who have not had the pleasure of going fishing with these guys I would like to address the 1 star review posted by James Green last month. Mr Green, first I would like to remind you of the activity you were paying to participate in. It's called fishing, not catching. There are no guarantees as to your success rate. Second, any well-informed fisherman knows that the availability of bait (not bate) fish in any area can change drastically in a matter of hours. So, what may have been a high producing location yesterday could be barren today. The same applies to larger fish. I submit that this is why you were moving from spot to spot, they were trying to find fish for you to catch! And I take offense to your comment "With all the experience the captain was said to have he should have known those spot were not productive" because you seem to be trying to injure the reputation of Chip and Curtis based on your apparent unrealistic expectations of what you thought you were paying for. These are good guys whose business it is for you to have a fun and successful day of fishing. Considering the fact that you did get your limit of Red Snapper I encourage you to rethink your opinion. And if anything I have shared gives you reason to change your mind, please rewrite your review of your day on the Miss Mary. Thank you. Bill White (a very satisfied and soon to be repeat client)
Capt. Chip and deckhand Curtis are amazing fishermen as well as very nice and accommodating people. Been on their boat many times in 10 years and will only fish with them. Always a blast no matter what kind of trip you take.
Went out on 6/19/2020 for an 8 hour trip. Trolled to the first fishing spot and caught 5 snapper within 10 minutes. We were told to reel up we were moving to the next spot. We trolled at about 5 knots to the next place. We got there and no fish. This was repeated several times throughout our trip. We did not catch another fish until the trip was almost over. We limited out on snapper at the last spot. We trolled around from suppose to be fishing hole to the next one only to hear no bate fish around. Hurricane pushed them off. We heard this several times all the while wasting my money. With all the experience the captain was said to have he should have known those spot were not productive. Very disappointed in the trip and will not use him again nor recommend him to anyone.
Captain Chip and Curtis are great. They work hard to put you on the fish. We have booked two times with them and will continue to when we are in the area. 👍
Some friends and I went out this past weekend and had a great time. Captain Chip and first mate Curtis put us right on the fish. We'll definitely be using these guys from now on!
