Peterson Falls is a really beautiful place and worth visiting! The waterfall looks amazing, especially when you see it from both sides: 💦from the main entrance (there is a small parking area and an easy forest path) 💦and from the other side – near the park, closer to the river. The walk is short and not difficult. The views are really special. Fresh air, the sound of water, and a calm, peaceful feeling – it’s a perfect spot for a little trip and a break from everyday life 🌿💧 Also, don’t miss the Hamilton monument and the charming little clock near the falls – they are really lovely details and make the place even more special! 🕰️🪻
This is an awesome place and I never thought there would be a waterfall in the middle of the city. It has a long history and is a beautiful location where people of all ages can go and enjoy themselves. The waterfall is truly a hidden gem that offers a peaceful escape from urban life. The sound of cascading water creates a tranquil atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxation and reflection. Whether you’re looking for a quiet spot to unwind, a scenic location for photography, or simply want to experience a piece of natural beauty within the city limits, Peterson Waterfall delivers. The accessibility makes it suitable for visitors of all ages - from young families with children to seniors who want to enjoy nature without venturing far from the city. The walking paths are well-maintained, and there are several vantage points to view and appreciate the waterfall from different angles. I highly recommend visiting Peterson Waterfall to anyone looking for a unique urban nature experience. It’s a reminder that natural beauty can be found in the most unexpected places, right in our own backyard.
Beautiful and powerful waterfall! The Paterson Great Falls is truly a hidden gem with stunning views and rich history. The sound of the rushing water and the sight of the falls is breathtaking — a must-visit if you are in New Jersey. The overlook gives a great view, but we wished more areas were open to walk around during our visit. Parking could definitely be improved, as the facility is quite limited. Still, the natural beauty of the falls makes the trip worthwhile, and I’d love to come back again when more access is available.
What a great little park. Currently getting a lot of work done on it. Not much hiking due to bridge being out but you can see the falls from the overlook. Parking lot is small so I assume it fills up fast on a weekend. No cost to enter. Go around the other side for a different view. Some street parking on other side
This was my first time visiting this place and it was absolutely amazing. The only thing that made it a little tough was the construction going on, so be careful when walking. What made the visit even cooler was the Labor Day weekend festival, which was so eventful. It had music, vendors, food, and overall the experience was very fun.
A beautiful and powerful hidden gem! Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park is an incredible spot that combines natural beauty with rich history. The falls themselves are breathtaking, powerful, and dramatic. The sound and energy of the water are mesmerizing, and there are several great viewing spots where you can take in the scenery from different angles. The park is also steeped in history, playing a major role in America's early industrial development. There are informative signs and exhibits that tell the story of Alexander Hamilton’s vision for Paterson as the first planned industrial city in the U.S., which adds a fascinating educational layer to your visit. It’s a perfect place for a peaceful walk, photography, or simply to unwind and enjoy nature. The surrounding area has been improving steadily, and you can explore some nice nearby spots and local food afterward. Highly recommended if you're looking for a quick escape into nature and history right in New Jersey!
The falls were beautiful! The surrounding neighborhood isn’t the safest looking but the falls were very beautiful! The parking lot isn’t very big though so just a warning but the national park people were friendly and it was cool to read about the history of the falls on the pamphlet the parks service gave me.
Had an amazing time exploring this beautiful park. There are guided tours by passionate rangers who are knowledgeable to enhance your weekend experience 🌿💬 But honestly… it was disheartening to see so much litter left behind by visitors. We have to do better. Nature gives us so much — the least we can do is respect it. 💔🌎 Also, a bit bummed the walk over the falls was closed, but still grateful for the stunning views. 🙌✨

Great views from the museum. Some very interesting decoratice arts collections. A lot of original architectural details are intact, including many original wood carvings, furniture and paintings as well as sculptures. Just minutes from the Great Falls definitely with a visit.
Nice place to visit. Has some great history and views. Was closed for repairs and renovations 8/25/23 make sure to check website and ensure it is open before attending.
Lambert Castle is a historical landmark located in Paterson, New Jersey, that offers a unique and intriguing experience for visitors. As an avid traveler and history enthusiast, I had the pleasure of visiting this remarkable castle, and it left a lasting impression on me. Upon arriving at Lambert Castle, I was immediately captivated by its stunning architecture. The castle's grandeur and picturesque setting on top of Garret Mountain make it a sight to behold. The castle was originally built in the late 19th century as a private residence for Catholina Lambert, a silk manufacturer and prominent figure in the Paterson community. Stepping inside, I was greeted by a wealth of historical artifacts and exhibits that chronicle the rich history of Paterson and its surrounding areas. The museum housed within the castle showcases an impressive collection of artwork, antique furniture, and various items that offer insights into the city's industrial past. The knowledgeable and friendly staff members were always available to answer questions and provide additional information, enhancing the overall experience. One of the highlights of my visit was exploring the observation deck on the castle's rooftop. The panoramic views of Paterson and the surrounding countryside were simply breathtaking. I was able to take in the beauty of the Great Falls, which played a significant role in the city's industrial development. The observation deck also provides a unique vantage point to appreciate the architectural details of the castle itself. The grounds surrounding Lambert Castle are meticulously maintained, offering a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. There are well-maintained gardens and pathways that invite visitors to take leisurely strolls and enjoy the scenic beauty of the area. It's an excellent spot for nature lovers and photographers looking to capture the castle's splendor from different angles. Another aspect that impressed me was the dedication to preserving the castle's historical integrity. The restoration efforts have been commendable, allowing visitors to step back in time and get a glimpse of what life was like during the castle's heyday. The attention to detail and the preservation of the original furnishings and decor added to the authenticity of the experience. One thing to note is that Lambert Castle may not be as well-known as some other tourist attractions in the area, which can be a benefit for those seeking a quieter and less crowded destination. However, it also means that the castle may not have as many amenities or services available on-site. It's advisable to plan accordingly and bring any necessary supplies. Overall, my visit to Lambert Castle in Paterson, NJ, was a delightful and memorable experience. Whether you're a history buff, an architecture enthusiast, or simply looking to enjoy some beautiful views, Lambert Castle offers something for everyone. It's a hidden gem that deserves recognition and is undoubtedly worth a visit.
What an interesting site. Right in our own backyard! Some of the rooms inside the castle were inaccessible, but there was enough there to see not to even notice. Featuring 3 levels of historic memorabilia. Worth the visit and the short drive up to the tower uo on thr mountain acoss from it.
The Crritmas craft festival at Lambert castle was terrific! Great ornaments and decorations for the Holidays. We had a bite at the Cafe on the 3rd floor Soups were delicious and pies hit the spot. And the views from the grounds are nice. All in all a worthwhile trip.
It was amazing, but I apologize for trespassing (especially the snacks that were left for the animals). I didn’t mean to and I had no choice!!!
Castles are a part of history we don't see everywhere. Nice to see and know the basic story behind the owner/builder.
Holy smokes so happy to have gone here, the castle is under renovation currently however it is a very nice view from the outside.

Excellent museum and preservation effort to highlight how Paterson NJ was a key hub for America's growth and successes. The effort put into collecting intricate machines for creating the industry drivers of the silk weaving industry, locomotives, mineral and electrical transmission wires is impressive. The expanded history portion on Alexander Hamilton highlighted just how critical his contributions to Paterson, New Jersey and the newly founded country were. After you have visited take a short walk or drive to the Great Falls that acted like a magnet to attract industry to this city by supplying energy from the hydroelectric power plant nearby. It's a mini-Niagra Falls. Notes: no snacks/food here but there is a Burger King on the corner. Free parking in the lot. No admission charge but donations welcome. Outside of the industrial building needs some work but inside is a preserved factory, floor-to-ceiling!
I have not been to a lot of museums but some. This is the most interesting museum ever! I really love the displays and love the history of the Paterson. This really amazed me! I highly recommend you to have a visit there! They maintain very nicely and kudos to them!
Fantastic place to visit to learn about the history of the Silk City, Paterson, NJ. I've known about this museum forever, and I have driven past it so many times, but I had never gone in. I finally entered with my camera in hand and was glad I did so. Not only was the inside interesting, but the exterior as well. I'd definitely recommend for you to visit it. There's free parking on location and the entrance is also free.
Paterson Museum is a wonderful experience. A lot of history in an easy to access building. Colt firearms exhibit, two submarines, Native American history, gemstones, exhibits on the Paterson Police Department, Fire Department, military branches, the Wright brothers, and manufacturing in Paterson with full size machines. And don't forget Patersons own Lou Costello.
This is a treasure chest of history nestled right in the heart of historically rich Paterson! Walk over to the falls for a complete day of history and beauty! I especially loved the display of medicines used in the 1920s. Interesting displays and artifacts that are well preserved and well taken care of.
Such a cool little museum packed with lots of history and actual machinery used in Paterson manufacturing for the last 250 years. Spent about an 1.5 hours here and enjoyed every minute.
Some of the exhibits were missing their dates, it would have been great to have. I always enjoy the history of Paterson, NJ. Natalie
An amazing place, attentive and courteous staff! We learned a lot about the history of America and the city. The old submarines were especially impressed. Admission to the museum is free, I recommend all tourists to visit this museum!

Movie theater

Classic movie venue inside a shopping center featuring multiple screens & concessions.

It was quite and the crew was very polite. The theater's seats leave a lot to be desired but overall it was enjoyable.
is this a new policy? watch the movies with the light on? Or is it that the employees do not go round to see if everything is going well? I watch the entire movie with the lights on. (Uncharted)
It's definitely a hidden gem. Price is still reasonable, and it has garage parking. Concession is pretty good, and it has popcorn 🍿 and hotdogs 🌭 and many different treats to keep you busy while watching a good movie 🎬 🎞 🎥.
Confortable seats. Clean. Good food. Not expensive
Ticket prices are reasonable, small theaters. Movie quality is good. Sound is great. The staff is a bit on the lazy side but, adequate. Concession is slow, needs at least 2 people working before movie starts. To many kids running around unattended.
Always a nice time at the Fabian, clean theatre and bathrooms.. Refreshments at bit pricey but I guess they have to make money somehow, movie prices are reasonable … I remember for years our children had to go to Route 4 and we complained because the kids had to go so far.., we have a nice theatre right in our own town and people still complain and don’t go…, I don’t get it😕
Great theater! local, clean, friendly staff. Has become a weekly tradition to take my son on Tuesdays $7 night. Kids snack pack inexpensive. Great night out with my son for under $20!! Safe -Free parking. Highly recommend!!! :)
Always come here, like it alot!!!! Surround Sound Speakers are great. Only down side is they need to clean their chairs. Started noticing weirdest odors when sitting. And stopped going here because of this.

Went to a wake and was pleasantly surprised. There chorus was on point in there singing it was lovely and the church was immaculate.
An old traditional Catholic Church. Parishioners are very nice and proud humble people. Priest is good but needs to have better relations with members. Priest exits left immediately after mass wish there was English mass
For my son Christening, the person helping the priest was very rude, since we got in the church. unfortatly my husband and i arrived a couple of minutes later then the time that the Christening will start, and since we got there she was rude to our family that were also there for the Christening. After the priest baptize my son and we were taking pictures she turned off the lights on us, then she said to me that she’s closing the church that she have another event to go too. She even gave me a hard time about why the priest didn’t put my lastname on my son Christening sertificate, i was explaining to her that they forgot to put my lastname and she said, well the priest thinks that your middle name is your lastname, and i explain to her but that’s not my lastname can he fix it for me please, she just went on about how only for motor vehicle and stuff like that we need to have everything like the birth sertificate, i ask her if can add my lastname to my name please, and she did ask the priest but after giving attitude.
It was very nice. The priest was very humble. I felt at peace.
Beautiful Peaceful Lovely church! I very true connection to harmony and love!
I cant say that this church is bad I see alot of happy people in here..
It was great! I was happy to see such a big crowd at mass this morning.
Because is church and can talk to God anytime I want. I love my church....

If your looking for nice vibes chill spot or even a place to bring your side bissh too... this is the spot for you... drinks are nice reasonable price DJ PRIME is super dope. Pool table and even a smoking chill spot for all you smokers.
1st time there stayed for 40mins cause the new 12 close bars law but they play Spanish and rap music and serve some great food, one pool table 5 flat screen all on sports it's was a great vibe and I'm 100% African American in a Latino bar💯
Needs better drink selection. Place is Meh.. The people you meet is what makes it OK..plus is the kitchen closes late so there is a chance to sober up if that's what you need after a long night 😃
I normally don't review places unless it's deserved. This place unfortunately is below standards, it was dirty and the bartender was very unprofessional and I just left. I can't believe the food they sell is acceptable by anyone, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
Went there to WATCH SPORTS and have a couple of beers thinking I can since it is a Sports Bar but the bartender only wanted to play loud music while muting the game. Mind you, there was almost no one at the bar. Very rude, not coming back.
Came here with friends and are the only ones here the bar tender refuses to put on the volume of the game because she says she rather listen to music. Very rude
Place was dirty from the previous night. Even though it was empty, we still had to wait for service and when the food came it was cold.
Safe place no drama. And good to play pool with others. Good place to challenge your skills.

Amazing brunch spot! Super fun, cute aesthetics. Their brunch is about $45pp and includes an appetizer, main, small dessert and unlimited mimosas (they have nonalcoholic options too. I had the pina colada and it was really good). To get the most out of the experience, plan to stay a few hours.
The place is great for enjoying some drinks and having a good time. While the food I tried wasn't bad, it didn't leave a strong impression. My main reason for visiting was to spend time with friends. Parking costs $20.00 in cash, which is worth noting. That said, I recommend the venue since parking in Paterson is scarce.
Cute brunch spot with vibes! La Chiflada is definitely a vibe! I love the music and DJ—perfect for a Sunday Funday. It’s a cute little spot filled with Colombian flavor and great energy. The food is okay, nothing too crazy, but I honestly come more for the drinks! The bottomless mimosas hit just right, and the ambiance makes it a fun place to kick back with friends and enjoy the weekend. Great for brunch if you’re looking for music, drinks, and a good time!
Great food, vibes and staff. Anthony was so hospitable, our drinks were never empty and the food was great. We didn’t have to ask for anything and the service was amazing. Great day date with my husband for brunch. A lot of people were celebrating birthdays and the music was perfect! I would come again
Came to La Chiflada for 2 birthday celebrations on the same day and the server Anthony was very accommodating. The service was more than amazing and every request was not a bother. If you love good music and excellent service this is the place. The steak and eggs was a preferred meal and someone I was with ordered the tres golpes and it was delicious. Hookah was amazing we decided with the decorated and drinks were brought by every 10-15minutes. 10 out of 10 for birthdays for brunch all that!
To sum up before I begin, just go somewhere else. If it's not for a soccer game just don't go. I made reservations for 3 of us to go and celebrate my birthday and we get sent to the lower level/basement section. Totally awful and not the experience I reserved for. One person tells me, its because we are small group and only large groups of 15 to 20 get sat upstairs. That was complete lie because upstairs we saw smaller groups and I've joined parties as small as 5 people upstairs. OMG next the food looked like a sad school lunch. Pre-made probably just sitting in the back. I did not eat it, came out in a little plastic white plate that literally felt like kids plate. A JOKE. If you do want to go just go full and make sure you are going to be sat upstairs.
I loved that even tho we were the only table they made my bestie feel special on her bday!! They danced with us and gave us shots
Shoutout to Anthony for taking care of us at the club! From start to finish, he made sure we were good—drinks always on point, vibes right, and service top-notch. He was super attentive without being overbearing and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy the night. If you’re heading there, definitely ask for Anthony. He’ll make sure you’re valid the whole time!

Usually if they aren't having an event its filled with young people 18 and up. On days of an event you will have more mature people. But they do charge on days of an event $20. Also on regular days after 10:30 they charge I think $10 & if you are a minor $15. Don't quote me on this.
The waitress was really good but the guy that I think was security (didn’t had a security guard shirt) he took my drink away two time because he taught my friends, which were under age, were drinking MY BEER! That was so disrespectful from him, and he keep bothering me because I didn’t have my drink in front of me. I was just trying to have a nice time and I don’t think I have to worry about where I put my drink. I know they have to make sure people under age doesn’t drink but that was too much. He was standing by our table all the time, looking at us like we were thefts!! I’m not giving one star because the waitress was good but other than that if this place is like that all the time I don’t wish to come back.
don’t go to this trashy ghetto spot !! the music isn’t all that, and the club has no problem serving alcohol to minors and then taking all there money and then kicking them out, also there is to many shootings !!!! security are terrible and only care to stand there and drink beers and liquor that they take away from people. finally the outside bouncer letting people in tells everyone you can drink inside so therefore he can have you set up to get kicked out and take all your money. DONT GO TO THIS SPOT YOU WILL REGRET IT
The security guards and bartenders have no respect for your belongings. Couldn’t enter the place with a vape. That’s understandable since they have to make their money off the hookah. They put my vape away in a “secure” place. Once the party was over they smoked my whole vape juice and burnt my coil. This place is very unsanitary. The bathrooms are dirty there were even guys coming in and out of the girls bathroom while one of the girls were drunk. It’s not a safe lounge and I wouldn’t recommend it, the drinks are also $12 each (vodka and cranberry) in a small plastic grammar school cup. Ive been to many lounges and this one doesn’t cut it. If you and your friends wanna party go to another lounge. Save yourself the trip and the money.
Place is big enough, but we were celebrating my Son birthday and they were charging$20 at the door to the guys and it never got that packed so to me to much money.
Horrible experience , security guard maced EVERYONE, if you were involved with the alternation or not, you were maced Law suit is on coming. This is ridiculous and that security guard obviously doesn’t know how to do his job if his first course of action is to mace a group of innocent people
Don’t Go To This Spot! The bouncers are very rude ! They allow little kids in and refuses adults! I think there should be new Management in such a place ! ASAP!
Nice place and service. great atmosphere, perfect for a night out to dance. Safe with many security guards on the premises.
