Really awesome collection and great staff. I loved the permanent pieces as well as the temporary exhibits. The museum focuses heavily on ties between nature and art, (extremely fitting its role as an art museum and nature conservancy). The plaques by each piece were really well-written and informative which I appreciated a lot. Overall it’s a beautiful, well-curated art museum that feels very thoughtful in its choices. (Also unbeatable prices as far as rat pins go. Like $5 or 6?? Incredible stuff)
Very enjoyable museum. Major focus on the Wyeths, of course. Lots of fun pieces by NC Wyeth and Jamie Wyeth. Also a terrific temporary exhibition of photographs from the mid-50s by two young men traveling across the country independently. They are very evocative and tell a very truthful story. Finally, a small exhibition of a early female cartoonist at the New Yorker. She had a wonderful sense of humor, as displayed by many of her cartoons that are part of the exhibition.
I hadn't been here in 40 years. Dad used to bring my sister and I to Chadds Ford every Fall when we were kids. Dad has been gone for five years. My sister and I decided to make the trip to visit the museum and revisit our childhood. Naturally, the museum wasn't as big as we remembered but that didn't stop the memories from returning. It was like visiting old friends. All of the artwork that I knew and loved as a preteen/teen had been patiently waiting for me to return. 😄 We were raised on Wyeth family art and it was wonderful to be back. 10/10 recommend.
This is one of my favorite museums. If you’re on the fence about touring the Wyeth studios, please do so! You won’t regret it- They’re stunning, incredible to see in-person, and the guides are so lovely. Added bonus is the cafe with incredible views while you eat! We’ve gotten the crab cake sandwich twice (it’s genuinely incredible), and recently got the fig/pear grilled cheese. Their cook(s) and cafe employees are doing an incredible job at adding to the experience of being there. Would give 6 stars to Brandywine if I could!
A beautiful museum both architecturally as well as with the amazing art contained within. Definitely worth a visit. It's well laid out, easy to navigate, curated well, with art that is incredible. And has a small yet good cafe and a parking lot with ample spots. Oh ..on beautiful grounds too.
This wonderful, intimate museum hugging the bank of the Brandywine River, features a collection of art by the Wythe family, as well as other artists and illustrators. Special exhibits and tours of nearby Wythe properties are available. There is a beautiful gift shop and nice cafe on the first level.
Beautiful museum with great views and excellent exhibits, which are curated and labeled well. Extensive gift shop with exhibit-relevant items. Plenty of parking. Cafe looks lovely (closes around 3 pm).
I love going to the Brandywine Museum. Whether it’s for a special event, to revisit favorite Wyeth art or to take friends to see the wonderful train installation for the Holidays…it’s always a good time. The setting along the Brandywine River is beautiful and the curation is top-notch.

Lovely winery. Numerous sitting rooms and plenty of outdoor seating. Great staff and even better wine. The events are nice as well.
We love chaddsford! We do a lot of their events for example the adult trick or treat and others. Not sure how long they have been doing this $25 pasta and glass of wine deal but i do not recommend it. The pasta was terrible! It just was not good at all. No flavor at all, consistency was bad. I know they don’t have a kitchen on site but it could have been way better. Now will that keep me from coming back absolutely not. We’ve been going for years and we will continue to attend and support because we generally love the location. We love coming to buy a few bottles and hang out at the tables and chill. We love the events they have every so often. AND obviously we love their wine! I loved that they are trying different things but the pasta & wine deal is a no for me. But everything else is solid! I love when they have food vendors sometimes too. It really is a beautiful peaceful and fun environment that’s family, friend or date friendly. For others dog friendly lol Some of my top faves are spiced apple, sangria, Good vibes only & Niagara!
The wine, vibes and hospitality is top tier. For red, white or sweet wine lovers this winery is it. Friends and I went for the adult trick or treat event and tried five different wines paired with food. Awesome tour guide and learned a lot about the history of the property. Perfect for Sunday fun day!
This winery is truly amazing, everything here is so perfectly planned out and set up to make an amazing experience. The staff is super friendly and goes above and beyond to make your experience memorable. In particular I had the pleasure of being served by Aidan, hes just a good guy, there's no other way to put it. Hes very knowledgeable on the wine list and helped recommend an amazing wine.
Awful management, customer service and ticketing system. I purchased tickets for an event and had issues that l needed to speak to management about. I emailed the winery 2x about the issue requesting management to contact me and called and left a message. I was told by the hostess that management would call me back. They never called me back or acknowledged my email. The first issue is the ticketing system is blinded and doesn’t show how many tickets are available, which should be shown. The second issue is that my request to contact me was ignored not 1 but 3 times. This is completely unacceptable and the poorest level of customer service l have ever experienced in my life. The staff and management need to receive training on how to provide quality customer service and acknowledge customer issues. Their approach is they just ignore you as they simply don’t care. The event that l attended which was the Adult Trick and Treat was also a disappointment, and certainly not worth the money they charged. Thier parking lot also has no lighting, which is a safety concern when it’s dark and you are walking to your car.
Wish there was something lower. Now wines are good. But if u get a gift card online it can’t be used in their stores and to order online costs u a bottle in shipping alone. That is not biggest complaint. When we tried to use in store manager was going to look into it and get back to us. Month later still not a word. Wrote company three different times again not a word. If that’s their customer service well there’s tons of different wineries around that will treat u better.
I really enjoyed the rustic ambiance of this winery. They have dry wines and sweet wines. The only fruit wine they had was an apple wine. I chose a sweet wine flight and everything I tried was very good. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
The winery and selection were fantastic. Went for a Newfoundland dog gathering and found myself enjoying the day of big dogs and delicious wines. Two time was the charm, fantastic way to support Newfoundland Rescue and enjoy some good wine. Made it a 3rd time. Great time again..l

I walked into the visitor center to find a gift shop, and not only that but an entire room of exhibits. What I found fascinating was the big wooden spike they found in the Delaware River and very detailed facts of the entire battle as it commenced including attire, weapons, wounded, and casualties. I absolutely loved it!
Super interesting historical site where the battle of Brandywine took place in 1777. The visitor center includes a small but fascinating museum. I was fortunate to get a personal tour from one of the guides who was dressed in period dress and knew a ton of interesting details about the battle and the site.
The people working here are amazing. They were renovating the restrooms at the time of our visit. There was a delightful reenactment going on with people in colonial dress learning how to dance.
Even if this were not the site of a significant engagement between British and Colonial forces, a part of George Washington's desperate campaign to prevent the Brits from occupying Philadelphia, the Brandywine battlefield park is a wonderful place to visit. The grounds are lovely, as is the small but excellent museum. The historic buildings still in place are well maintained. They beautifully illustrate the guide's excellent, lively explanation of the events that took place there on 9/11/1777, and beyond. All in all, a small but wonderful place and well worth the visit. Just keep in mind that Brandywine Battlefield is only open on Fridays and Saturdays. Highly recommended!
Nice visit. Stopped at the museum, although closed. Employee provided amazing directions to other places. See picture.
Nice Park, but i couldn't reAlly get a feel for the battle here, since its not well signaged on the site. Also- footpath and footpath sights would really help. There are very nicely preserved buildings here
I spent about 2 hours here. The visitor center has a nice exhibit on the battle. I also toured the 2 homes, our guide was very knowledgeable. A great stop for anyone who loves history.
Nice place bit not actual battle site, just General Washington's headquarters! Also the park currently is opened on Fridays. Staff encountered was very friendly and informative.

Penns Woods Winery is a wonderful way to spend a casual afternoon. They offer live music at a beautiful setting with the vineyard as the backdrop! Staff are amazing and knowledgeable. Most importantly, the wine is exceptional! The pinot noir rose is a personal favorite but, I haven't met a PW wine that I did not like! There is seating indoor and out, but you can also bring a chair or a blanket as well as well behaved pups.
This is the best winery in the tri-state area. It’s a family, everyone treats you like you are the best part of the family. It’s on a beautiful piece of land, thriving with enjoyment every minute. Delicious, every wine has a special taste, made with love. Support, they are supporting local businesses in the area and helping everyone. It doesn’t matter what time of year you go, it’s amazing. I tell so many folks about this amazing place and come back with delicious feedback. I have been a member for about 13 years now. We just love it.❤️
The staff was absolutely wonderful. The wine was very enjoyable. I normally do not like dry wines. Their wines were wonderfully flavorful.
I love this place! Pennswood winery is a gem of a place with wonderful owners. The wine is delicious and they source everything local. I look forward to any day that I can spend lounging on the lawn sipping rose!
My wife and I visited this winery recently and we really loved it. We arrived on a Thursday right when they opened, so there were no other customers. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We ordered a cheese plate that was hand crafted and delicious. The wine was generally excellent. My wife had a white flight and I had a red flight and we sampled each others. If I like the wine at a winery, I usually try to buy a bottle or two. We purchased 4.
This is my favorite winery! To start, I haven’t had a wine here I don’t like. The tasting room is so neat, the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming. The outdoor seating is incredible with the shade sails and tables. To top it off they have amazing events, including family friendly ones with vendor markets that support small local businesses. If you haven’t tried it go! It’s truly the best!
Great atmosphere with amazing workers. Fantastic scenery with great grape. Go to the end of the fence while everyone is occupied with the live music to sneak into the vineyard and eat grapes.
I love the atmosphere at Penns Woods. Especially during the warmer days when you can spend the day in their outside area. It's a great place to bring your pups for a picnic and just relax all day. I have been a member of their Wine Club for a year now and can definitely say that the benefits are worth it. They really make you feel like you belong. I have been to quite a few of the local wineries in the area and Penns Woods is definitely my favorite.

Loved the history here and the people working there were very passionate about the society and property.
We went to the pumpkin carving festival, it was very expensive!! And many of the carved pumpkins were not ver impressive for that price , you paid to get in then the shops were so overpriced bread that I was looking forward to buying ( because I bought some at a chadds ford day’s event a couple of years back that was delicious it was an onion flavor bread) it was double the price from a previous event and it was supposed to be a garlic bread but it was filled with Italian seasoning and didn’t taste like garlic bread very disappointed with it. The music was good you could dance around. I won’t be going back to any events here it was so expensive and not worth the money. Also friends of mine we’re paying I think close to $10 for a drink beer/wine 😔 the reason of a 4 star review is because this would be extremely fun for kids because they don’t think about money.
We had 5 kids in our family attend camp here this summer. It is the best day camp we’ve ever attended: low key, small, so interactive and educational, and fun. We attended all three weeks and brought cousins for one of them. The kids made paper, marbles, candles, engraved wood, played with water, sifted for artifacts, found a fish weir in the Brandywine. They baked delicious bread in a colonial oven. The counselors are the best: Sandi, Spencer and Ryan were all so engaged and interested themselves. The kids love them. We’ll be back to help out with History Days and will do this camp until the kids age out.
The pumpkin carving festival was fantastic. Very well laid out, good food, good music, cute little haunted trail for the kids. Good craft vendors. A nice hang out for a while on a beautiful autumn evening.
We attended the Great Pumpkin event here and it was amazing!! 80 giant pumpkins carved by all different talent levels. So many people coming together with nothing but excitement for the season. A great place for people of all ages to enjoy. The bathrooms are portapotties, and they were gross and out of TP, and the traffic in was over an hour to just go 2 miles. Next year police need to monitor the light at the main road, not just at the parking lot. Over all it was a beautiful way to start the season.
Regularly attend the pumpkin carve and it is always fun but patience is required. Parking in the meadow is crowded at this popular event, but they keep the flow moving. Lots of food truck options as well as local crafters.
Great staff very knowledgeable about the area and the history

I probably visited this museum 20 or 25 years ago, and yet think of it often. Sanderson continues to teach history lessons even in the afterlife. He had such an awareness of everyday history. Most of us only glimpse this at monumental school reunions or funerals. Talk about learning to live in the present. He saved every gift.
Great things collected but the building is so full of mold I couldn't breath after 15 minutes. It's rare when that happens, maybe only 3 times in my life. They should donate his collection to the Smithsonian so it's properly cared for. Such a shame I couldn't even see everything there.
Very informative staff. The collection is pretty impressive and each piece has a story behind it. Would definitely suggest if you're in the area and especially if you're doing the battlefield tour. Thanks for the experience.
This is one of the oddest, most dynamic museums ever that celebrates the life and collection of one of the most interesting people to welcome the 20th century.
Visited museum several Saturdays ago. Amazing place!!!!! Christian's collection is totally unbelievable. A must to visit.
The gentleman was super nice and definitely knows his stuff regarding this museum!
Chuck the curator is knowledgeable and friendly. If you like quirky museums this is the place for you!!!
You will need to book an appointment before going, but its definitely worth it.

I loved coming here. So cool to look at all the vendors treasures. It has two levels and an endless amount of stuff. Would totally come back here and look when I have more time!
Good place. Big. Lots of dealers variety. In some items, they have a high price which is you can find in other places in the same area cheaper. Stuff are friendly and helpful. It’s recommended to take a look or walking in the weekend. You can find some very old antiques which are really antique!
The booths Mimi has is wonderful. She was so sweet. Very stylish and inexpensive jewelry, it’s right in front of the booth where the American girl dolls are on the top level, to the left of the entrance door. The booth with the American girl dolls is also Mimi’s. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is because my boyfriend was followed around and for a second there I was too which made me want to leave, thankfully that was after I got my jewelry from Mimi. Definitely will be returning for some more jewelry. All the other booths mostly have dirty overpriced jewelry and junk honestly.
Good selection of items from rugs, art, furniture, and decor to minerals and estate jewelry. Make sure you check out Pat in the corner by the Rock Shop on the bottom floor. She has one of the best and coolest selections of jewelry and her prices are much more fair than other vendors.
My girlfriend found the engagement ring she wanted here. It was in a display case right near the entrance. Price was $2000, unmarked, no information, was not marked “FIRM” on price. Claimed it was Emerald, Diamond, and Platinum. I wanted to make an offer and they told me that they had no contact info for the seller. What a lie, how can you have items in consignment and have no contact with the seller. I questioned the rings authenticity and wanted paperwork or proof. So we went downstairs (how convenient) to the antique shops own jewelry store and they tested the jewelry. Told me exactly what I wanted to hear. I only purchased the ring because my girlfriend said it was the one. But to lie to me and tell me it’s impossible to contact the sellers about their products is just poor service. They value their profit that much they won’t let anyone make offers. Even if 90% of the store’s items should’ve been thrown away instead of stocking the shelves.
This place is fantastic! So many great vendors with a ton of amazing items and fantastic prices. The rocks in the basement take up way to much space, but if you like rocks then it's probably not big enough. I don't like rocks so it seemed way to big for me, but the rest of this place was great! Not nearly as big as other places I've been to and wouldn't travel hours to go here, but since I live close it's definitely worth the visit! If you're in the area then you should stop by. Only if you like antiques though. If you don't like antiques than you probably wont like a giant antique store. Or you will. I'm not your dad. Check it out or don't. It's really cool though.
Big space packed with eclectic stock and great vintage finds , perfect for meandering through. Did not even have time to explore the second floor. Almost everything I reached for cost more than I wanted to spend, but we did come away with a few treasures. The kids especially loved the stones and artifacts in the second half. Nice vibe. Friendly staff. Nice way to spend a few lazy hours.
Horrible customer service, as soon as we entered we giving the rules of the store and got told our bag was too big when it wasn’t big at all. Didn’t make shopping a fun experience. Way better Antique stores in that area that are not strict. There was a women in the store with a larger bag then ours and the booths were huge not tight at all. I would never go back. Learn BETTER customer service.

This is a jewel of antiques, furniture, ornaments, historical artifacts, medals, old history momentos, toys, jewelry, books, lamps, etc. You can expend good time walking 3 levels, and keep finding many things... plus very close a very good coffee shop...
Fascinating! We spent 3 hours in there. Many different antique dealers under one roof. The place is an old dairy farm. The building is interesting in itself. They are a bit pricey but the pieces are the real deal. They have everything! We left with some treasures! We will be back! If you’re into antiques or just like to browse and get nostalgic, this place is for you.
This place is super cool! If you’re looking for genuine treasure that is rich with history, this is the place. Fine antiquities and stunning pieces. Be sure to go through ALL THREE FLOORS too! I could spend a whole day in this place.
Very happy with my "new" milk glass chandelier! Came already rewired by the dealer.
There is a large and interesting selection of antiques on multiple floors. Some rooms were over-stocked and difficult to walk through, so I avoided looking at antiques where there was clutter. The prices were higher than average and better deals can be found closer to Lancaster. The staff is friendly and helpful.
I truly love the experience of shopping here. Each booth is well stocked silver and glass and porcelain. The staff is always kind and attentive and willing to assist ! Truly one of a kind place to explore "ye ole treasures!"
Cool stuff and great selection, overbearing with staff continuously coming up to us, and prices were quite high. Don't come here if you plan to stay on a budget. We weren't able to find anything that interested us that wasn't well above market price. Upper floor had many items with tags faded from the sun and covered in dust and grime, and were still charging a fortune.
10/16/2025 @ 11.45 Am. Unfortunate experience w/ one of the stalls renters working front desk old man w/ cane. The man was talking politics, using vulgarity and openly stating his wish for the death of public officials.

5/5 Stars - Excellent Experience Target Master! I recently visited Target Master and had an outstanding experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, professional, and eager to ensure everyone felt comfortable and safe. The range itself is clean, well-maintained, and has a wide selection of firearms to choose from, whether you're a beginner or an experienced shooter. The stunning check in girl was extremely friendly and nice surprise. It's not too often you see that at a shooting range. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend Target Master to anyone interested in firearms. Whether you're a first-timer or an experienced marksman, this place offers everything you need for a fun and safe time!
I bought my Shadow system MR920 from Joe and his team. Joe took incredible care of me making sure I got exactly what I was looking for! Not only that, he and his team made sure any concerns or issues I was having were ironed out before I left the store. When I left the store I attempted to mount my own optic on my MR920. I made a critical mistake and thought I ruined the slide on my gun. Joe and his team took the time out of their busy day to not only fix my issue but completely mount the optic to spec on my slide. Joe and his team saved me hours and days of head ache between trying to find this firearm for a great price and catering to all the specific needs I had. I won’t be going anywhere else to buy my firearms or equipment. These guys get it done!
My wife and I recently purchased two Ruger EC9 pistols from Targetmaster, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! The shop has an incredible selection of firearms, catering to just about every need and interest. Their pricing is very reasonable, which made our purchase even more satisfying. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful, making the entire process smooth and enjoyable. We also noticed they have a gun range on-site, which is a great feature for anyone looking to try out their new purchase or practice regularly. Overall, Targetmaster is a one-stop shop for firearms and accessories in Delaware County. We highly recommend checking them out if you’re in the area. We’ll definitely be back!
Great experience overall! My husband and I were looking for a range and came across this one, so glad we did! They were super friendly and extremely helpful with explaining the rentals and procedures. Will definitely come back!
Bought a .Smith and Wesson .357 for my birthday and had a great experience. It had the beautiful wood grips but I also liked the rubber grips for practical purposes for hunting. They really took care of me. After purchasing they called Smith for me and also mailed me the rubber grips free of charge. Also they hooked me up with some smith and Wesson cool swag. Great people, great experience. Will definitely shop here again. 5 stars
Quality, knowledge, family feeling, all this can be experienced after a short time spent in Target Master. I have been shopping/ shooting here for 15 years. Everything you seek of or relating to firearms can be obtained with these guys. I could not be any more grateful for the advanced collection, skill and I formation I have received. Thanks for being a trusted Local source!
First experience at Target master and I will be happy to attend again. My only challenge was finding range information/rules beyond hours was slightly difficult on the website. The rental program seems very straightforward, range pass rental went smoothly and the team behind the counter are all easy going. The speedloader at every range station is a great amenity.
We haven't been out shooting since dad passed in 2019. We decided to check out this indoor range for our anniversary adventure. It was organized, well-run, safe, and comfortable. The staff members were attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly.
