An awesome State Park for your outdoor activities and sports. Walked and biked the whole lake. Plenty to do. Great bird scenery, all kinds of different colors on them. For all you state park license plates, great place to spend the day. Fishing, archery, etc...
I had a good time for the most part. It is kind of disturbing to know though that the water is toxic☠️. We were allowed to take our kayaks out, but to be so close to the toxic algae that was literally everywhere. Let not the photos deceive you, the water is far from clear! Other than that, it is very beautiful 😍. Not the greatest fishing for us, probably had the wrong bait 😂. The park ranger was very very very nice! He even helped us wash off our kayaks! Summery 1. Toxic water ☠️ don't drink, don't swim, AVOID CONTACT WITH THE EYES 👀 AND MOUTH 👄! 2. Bugs on bathroom floors make it unpleasant. 3. Everything else is top notch 👍!
Where do I start. Lol. I had reservations about this lake. Until I got there it was settled. The sanctuary was amazing. The deck that you could walk and watch birds was super cool. The water was low, not to much of a buzz kill. The fishing was great. The park is 10 out of 10, hands down. My mother and I got to see to Eagle's one Golden, and the other Bald. Literally made my day. We didn't catch any fish. Others around did. But let's be honest. It's the the little things, always will be. Wish I had taken more photos
This lake was once polluted. It's now a beautiful home for abundant wildlife. I was only there for a brief time and got caught in the rain. I did like the overall atmosphere. They also have a wildlife center on the premises and numerous hikes
Great trail the flat 9 mile hike was scenic. The wildlife preserve decks have beautiful views at sunset.
Nice, wide 8.8 mile trail around the lake, with a number of board walks and observation points. Can be lots of gnats and mosquitos, so come prepared.
This is a favorite state park of ours to bring visiting Grandmas and Grandpas to. The paths are wide, flat and circle the pond. While a little muddy in winter (wear boots or waterproof shoes) we love giving our family the opportunity to view really cool birds. One year we saw a bald eagle eating its prey on the ice of the ponds. The educational programs are creative and plentiful. My son is considering the adult fly fishing clinic. There is a small gift shop with the usual stickers, t-shirts, and souvenirs. There are also local arts and crafts. I purchased a favorite crocheted hat from this shop a couple of years ago and love it! The bathrooms are clean and well stocked. Another stop on our CPW passport to adevnture. #COParksPassport
We had a great time visiting the park & absolutely loved the nature center. The trails were well maintained, clean, and easy to navigate for my toddler. There are picnic areas with grills and lots of shaded seating. Beautiful wildlife was a major highlight for me. We saw red winged blackbirds a sweet fawn. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Love this community water park!! We live in a neighboring city really close by and prefer this Waterpark to our own city's. It's clean, it's a very nice area, you can look at all the farmland around while you're waiting to go down the water slides. It is reasonably priced for a day of fun. The snack bar was good and pricing was fair. There's a lot of seating and shade. You're able to bring a cooler which helps especially with a toddler! This will definitely become a staple in our family's summer fun for years to come!
We had such a great time here! 😎 We rented the pavilion so our whole group could be together for an end-of-summer pool day, and it was perfect. The lifeguards were fantastic—super friendly and very attentive to all the swimmers. I love that they take a 15-minute adult swim break every two hours—it’s a fun way for the kids to have a little rest (and a potty break 😂). There were plenty of chairs, and the lazy river was a highlight! It even has wave projections that give you the feel of a real river—great for your core! They also mix it up by stopping the waves for a true “lazy” river float without tubes. All in all, an awesome day!
Horrible place. Over crowded so bad you can’t even swim. Expensive if you’re not a resident. 48” just to ride the slide. Super small pools. This overall was such a let down and after driving by so many times!
Charged $20 to drop off my wife and 4 year old daughter at a birthday party... 07/26/2025 @ 11am... My daughter was supposedly already paid for... I told them beforehand I would not be participating and I'm only dropping off my wife and daughter and in response I was told that anyone entering the park must pay admission. I literally walked in and then out minutes later... On my way out I asked why I should be charged for that... She told me that I should not in fact have been charged but offered no refund... Just a shrug like "tough luck"... At least they smiled the whole time.
Went on Monday, very family friendly .. it's a small park but has plenty of attractions. Slides are for 48" and taller. No parking issues, residents pay a discounted fee but non resident adult is still only 10 dollars. Great restrooms and friendly staff
Nice community Waterpark with a lazy river, small children's area, a deep pool for jumping in and rock climbing, slides. Plenty of seating, loungers. Snack area you can order from, or you can bring a cool and your own food. Love that ! Plenty of lockers, nice bathrooms and showers. A nice cheap way for residents of brighton to beat the heat or get a tan!
Oasis itself is really fun when it's not too crowded. Lots of lifeguards on duty keeping an eye on things. And food is decent. The problem is... all the staff are teenagers. They are friendly and nice, but but when their clientele is also teenagers, who happen to be overall really ill mannered, selfish, and causing trouble for the fun of it... it doesn't really get handled. It's not inexpensive admission only to be driven out because the people who come here are so awful your younger kids can't be in the pool or the lazy river anymore because the teens are looking for a fight for literally no reason other than boredom. Brighton, ya'll need to do better raising your teens. They aren't a good reflection on your city and unfortunately impact the experience at Oasis. Came on a Wednesday morning at opening, and within an hour it was so crowed the lazy river was more bumper cars than a wave pool. Which again, would be fine, except the people aren't exactly nice. We definitely won't be back anytime soon. Which is a shame, because if they got a handle on the nasty behavior, it would be a really awesome place.
I’ll leave an honest the lazy river is so packed you can’t even go down it without someone else tube on top of you. The pool you couldn’t even move in it and on top of kids trying to play basketball the only clean open pool is the tiny slide only 12 and under can go on the rock climbing wall is in this are however you can only climb it if someone else isn’t going down the tiny slide that kids were getting stick at the end so they had to jump off. They need to give half of that area to open swim. The slides were super slow and took forever for them to tell you it was okay to go. Some Lifeguard were kinda rude! Honestly it was NOT worth your money

We arrived late and our group was already in the pumkpin patch, so the owner fired up his John Deere cart and drove us out there, with his canine escort Payton in the lead!! My daughter was thrilled with the entire experience from start to finish. There are so many great reasons to visit this farm and to bring family and friends along!
Such a fun place with family! This was my baby's first visit to the farm she loved it! all the produce looked incredible! We went on the last weekend they were open this year so we want to come back in the summer next year! Thanks for such a fun time!
Yes, it's hot in July, go early the days they're open. It is such a great place to show your kids where & how food is grown. Very fond memories for our family and great fresh produce to buy or pick yourself.
My toddler son and I went to a special event on the farm! It was a very generous and creative program. We had a fantastic time. Highly recommend this farm, especially because of the lovely owners and staff.
What a great place to visit. I could have spent all day here, just walking around and exploring. Great strawberries, ripe, sweet, yummy. I also bought some flowers and other veggies - wasn't too pricey, spent less than $30. The staff was so friendly, inviting, and very knowledgeable about the veggies and how to prepare them. One review suggested going early to pick and I would agree. Felt like I had an entire field to myself. I will be back for another visit.
Best Organically Certified pick your own farm I've been too. Very helpful staff, and great selections! I didn't have time this spring or summer to have a garden. But I still get to can pickles because of Berry Patch Farms! ♥️ And a beautiful bouquet of flowers to take home as well!
My family and I had a wonderful time at Berry Patch Farms. Staff was very friendly and personable. We will be back!
Picked raspberries, strawberries, and cucumbers. I look forward to making cucumber kimchi and canned pickles today. For the new people interested in picking, best to go first thing in the morning.

Kid-friendly, and the staff is amazing. I came with three kids: 8, 10, and 12 years old. The staff was so helpful; they went above and beyond. The prices are more than fair. I have also shot here multiple times, doing clays, which was also great.
We had a great time shooting clays. My two sons and I shot for about an hour under clear sky’s with calm winds. A good time was had by all at this first class facility. The drive time was well worth it for the enjoyment we experienced.
We had a great clay shoot event here. It's a great course, nice upgrades to the event tent, & fantastic staff to work with.
Great experience shooting with a group today. We got the shack at the end for clays, and it was a great addition to the event. It had A/C and we had food in there. The facilities were clean and well maintained.
This was my second time shooting, first time breaking in my P365 Rose edition, and the two gentlemen, ED and Harley, made my experience a good one. I was discouraged by the recoil and they took time to walk me through the entire process. They shared their experience and tips and tricks, and helped me be more comfortable with my fire arm. I highly recommend going here!! Can’t wait to go again!
My wife, a friend and I went last july to this range. Even we have shot on trap before, never on course so it was really fun and challenging. Great attention at front desk with Amy and Richard the field officer was really kind and explained us the must knows, really helfulp and always in cool mood. We have lot of fun and enjoyed the visit and even we couldn't finish the station because a coming storm so next time we go back to Denver, for shure we will return to Colorado Clays!! Thanks, we felt welcome and safe, ultil next time!
What a great place. I have shot here for years, however I just brought my young son here for his introduction to shooting. The staff is very accommodating, especially to youth shooters. The facility is a great and set up perfect.
This place is freakin awesome. Everyone from the young lady at the check-in to the RSOs to the other patrons were so friendly and professional and most importantly, safe. They have a detailed and well explained safety system and it works because of the way its presented to guests. Our RSO (Harley) for the pistol range was outstanding. He was welcoming, encouraging and knowledgeable. Everyone was looking to him for his knowledge and he was glad to share. Harley spent 20+ minutes with my girlfriend teaching her some basics that I being self taught can't explain anywhere near as well as he did. He gave her some good exercises and pointers that were really valueable. I appreciate you Harley!!! We will without a doubt be frequenting this range. Affordable, clean, and all around positive place. 10 stars.

Hello, I just wanted to thank your swim instructors for doing such a fantastic job with my 2 great granddaughters!! Their ages are 4 and 6. This is the first time they’ve had swim lessons, they absolutely loved it!! The 4 year old was very shy the first couple of classes. By the end of their sessions they were excited to go!! I believe it’s because your instructors are very patient!! We will be signing them up for future lessons. Thank you for a job well done 🏊‍♀️
This was my 1st time here. And I have to say it very beautiful. I visited the Barr Creek with DPS group for a the community camp sleepover for the kids and families part of Denver and Brighton schools we all had a great time roasting marshmallows are doing archery fishing and the food trucks were awesome we also got to watch as a group The jungle Cruise but in all we all had a good time
I loved the pool and the people everyone minds their own business
I visited here for the pool and it was very fun! Also, the park is fun for the children and this place overall brings me joy!
Restroom and water fountain ✅ also slow EV charging !
Love this rec center I’m here often to swim and train. As a triathlete living near here has been a great help for my training. Only concern is the lifeguards don’t seem to be very good.
This is a great rec center and very excited for the updated gym coming soon!
BETTER THAN SNAP, 24 HOUR FITNESS, AND PLANET FITNESS The staff here are helpful, cheerful, and very good at their job. If your a single man or woman, don't think about trying to pick someone up on a future date, unless, you are positive, sensitive and actually there for your health! Brighton sucks with restaurants, and who they hire, but this rec center has great staff. NO STREET CLOTHES IN SAUNA, is new to me, but its been a thing here for the last few years. Did not know that, usually like to sweat up a bit, and warm up before a workout, might have a chat with the government here, but warming up in the sauna is a healthy thing! Currently Annual Maintenance 9/10-9/24/2018 CLOSED!!! IM OFFICALLY GOING BACK IN APRIL 2022, AFTER 3 YEARS IN TEXAS, LOVE THIS PLACE!

I just love this bar. Always a dull moment when you aren't wanting one. My experience was just fabulous. My friend and I had some beers and then we had some beer and after we had a few beers we had some beers to top off the night. Thank goodness we left the table open because we were so polluted I forgot how to drive and ordered a pizza for a safe ride homeless park where I ended up getting naked and lost my rights towards freedom for 5 days until I remembered my phone number to call my wife to post bail. She wasn't even missing or worried about me. Dang. Anyway I saw a judge and we had a big laugh, he laughed a lot ouder then sentenced me to no jail just community service where I was able to perform at the Arc thrift store where I got in more trouble for borrowing a bike that someone donated because I couldn't find my car keys since that wild night at Jordies a few months back. I love that bar.
This place looks like it could be a lot of fun! Stopped in on a whim. Took a random drive to Brighton and found a street fair at the bank on the corner. Decided to grab a drink. People were friendly. Decent selection of alcohol. They have all kinds of games and things to do here. Bit sketch. Not sure I'd go alone. Still, great little dive.
Always a pleasant experience. The food here is decent. Shane who runs the kitchen is as good as it gets. The Pizza and the wings are awesome. Brian is an old school bar tender the way it should be. Today's sensitive all about themselves customers don't understand. But this guy Rocks as do most of the bartenders there. I don't drink anymore but still pop once in awhile to get food and say Hi. Dan is a good owner who cares about his customers, and keeps a no tolerance safe environment for patrons. Old school feeling there. Common sense "Don't bring kids to the bar at night" Lmao
Had a peach twisted tea which was great. The rocky mountain oysters were perfect. The special of the day was a chicken club and as you can see. It was also really good. Came out piping hot. French fries were crispy and good. The bartender was very friendly and new. Just about everybody. You can tell. It definitely is a place that has a normal crowd. Even on a Monday it was pretty packed.
Went in for lunch. We were the first ones in but it was quick to fill up. Social distancing was being practiced and folks were wearing masks. Its an older establishment so not real fancy on the inside but the people were nice. We both had a Jordi burger. They were thick burgers and cooked to medium perfectly, the toppings were fresh and so was the bun. I got fries my husband got onion rings. The fries were crispy, well seasoned and hot. The onion rings on the other hand we didn't care for as much, didn't like the breading and they came out a little greasy. The drinks were good and the atmosphere was "happy". We will go back for the clam chowder when its a little colder! Thank you for a great experience!
Ah yes, the old Western Bar. Saw the $16.99 steak night last Wednesday so we thought we would give it a try. Bar atmosphere thats a given. Ribeye, veggies and baked potato was edible, the buttered garlic bread could have been toasted, it was pretty butter soaked and soggy. Nothing to brag about. Ordered some wings, those were good. I wouldn't say I'd rush back there, but it wasn't bad.

In from out of town and almost did not go, but friends said to try it. Glad I did. Very cool old building, great atmosphere, great service and the chicken wings were very honestly the best I have had. And I have had my fair share of wings all over the place. These were the the meatyiest well done wings I have ever had. They were the green chili wing. Freaking delicious. Glad I went.
Over all the food was good. Nice big place with lots of tables. Can be a little loud but that is expected in a bar and grill. Chicken Fried Steak was a 6 out of 10 though. It was all premade stuff and didn't come out hot. Hence 4 starts and not 5. Next time I want the pizza because it looked amazing. The service was great, refills and anything else we needed we got in a timely manner.
Great Place…Service was super attentive and friendly. Food was fresh and hot. Beer was delicious..5 stars for having Denver Nuggets / Rocky Mountain Oysters on the menu…
This is a sports bar tavern with a dining area. It can get noisy at times. The staff is incredible and the portions are excellent. They offer varieties of toppings to choose from for pizzas. Their menu has many options as well. The dining side of the restaurant is perfect for family and friends to get together. It is a favorite go-to with friends and family. Check it out!
Copper Rail has been a regular dinner spot for my family and me ever since I was a kid. Boasting a friendly staff and a great sports bar atmosphere, it’s a great spot to come for a game day or late night. I’ve seen several Super Bowls at Copper Rail, and the bar food is serviceable enough. You can’t go wrong with any of the appetizers or the wide selection of pizza. The sandwiches and fries are pretty average, so maybe stick to the wings or ballpark nachos.
It's great that we can bring kids in here and all but i think there was an issue with the staff when it came to service. Bartender was amazing but the server didn't check in once. I'm from out of town and I've worked in the industry, so, to sit and wait for 20 mins and get zero service is rough. And yes I get it's a Tuesday night but service shouldn't change. I hear good things and I'm slightly disappointed. Definitely not with the bartender.
Reuben was good, sauce on the side. Nothing special about it but no complaints. Very standard. Fries are a little dry, but I like skin-on potatoes. Pizza is very mid, but all you can ask for in a bar environment. I am from WA state, so for me, the prices were low. Probably not the case if you’re from the area. Because it felt cheap, my experience felt appropriately fine. Great environment/atmosphere, but I am a foodie, and the food was nothing to write home about.
The pizza is great! Service is attentive but very busy and less conversation more direct to getting you what you ordered and correctly. Plenty of pool tables and a more traditional dinning area instead of the bar seating. Bar side would be great for a big fight or game!
