My wife and I enjoyed wine tasting with Ed (business manager) and Dan (winemaker) on 13 Feb 24. We enjoyed several of the $2 tastings, as well as several $1 tastings. We purchased two bottles of wine. Ed was very accommodating, giving us great information about the wines we tasted. Dan then took us to the basement of the property, built in the 1870s, to show us where the wine is processed. It is interesting that the wines are named after ships that have sailed in the Great Lakes. We had a great time visiting this winery!
Today my sister and I did the wine paring and it was the best. They always go above and beyond. They are extremely friendly, they get to know you and what you like. I would highly recommend them.
Great selection of wine styles in a cool setting. Aside from wine, they also have other cool stuff. You won't be disappointed here.
We visited this winery for a tasting of what they had to offer. The tastings were curated by Ed, whom is the ultimate authority on their wines. A perfect early afternoon. Don't miss stopping in here when in the area. 5-stars all the way. Thank you Ed.
I do have to say this is the best winery I have been to. The gentleman took time to explain how they make their wines and how to pair them. He was so informative. I am a sweet red wine drinker. He explained dry wines to me and said trust me, you need to try this dry wine Aura and I did. Well I bought my first bottle of dry wine. It was like no dry wine I have ever tasted!! If you are looking for a great experience and taste some amazing wine you definitely have to stop in here
This is a tasting experience, like none other I’ve had before. They pair the wines with sauces, salad dressings and tapenade’s. The owner is unbelievably knowledgeable like you’ve never experienced before. If you pass by this winery you will miss something in your life.
OMG! Ed is a Rockstar! He is kind, incredibly knowledgeable. They also sell DELICIOUS sauces, jams, flavored olive oils, balsamic vinegars, and tons of cute nick nacks. Highly recommend!
Went in for wine tasting. Server was so friendly. They let me bring in my small dog in a carrier.

I never get tired of going in here. Cheese and more cheese! The owners are fantastic people and really make you feel welcome. The wine selection is rather impressive too. You can't go wrong in this place.
Highly recommend!! I stopped in with a few friends on a girls trip and the owner John was so knowledgeable and friendly! We had a great time tasting a few cheeses and each left with several to take home, as well as salami, crackers, wine, fudge, etc. The selection is amazing - I would go back to Tecumseh just to shop here!
This is a really nice shop with lots of different food items for sale. The cheese selection is excellent and I got some really neat goat cheese along with one of the better English cheeses I’ve ever had. They have a number of other items like oils, jams, and sauces too. It’s all very good quality. The staff seemed helpful and were quick to answer any questions I had. I wish there was something this nice closer to where I live, but Tecumseh is lucky to have them.
I absolutely love the Blvd Market. The cheese is addictive. Great variety of wine too. Erika and Jon make me feel at home. If I had the money I'd shop there at least once a week. Lol They also let me hang my Art. Can't say no to that. ❤️💯
To John and Erica, it was a pleasure to see you both after such a hiatus from seeing you and visiting the shop. The Coastal Cheddar was an absolute hit, great taste and flavor. Added to my list of have to cheeses. The Old Witch was a great suggestion over Guyre. Very happy with all my cheese purchases. I cannot believe all the additions of items you have in the shop. Congradulations on 21 years in business. Randy Casler
Once a week we have to stop in and grab something! Every cheese here is delicious but my favorites are the fresh $5 goat cheese and the Tecumseh Brewery Raspberry collaboration with The Boulevard Market 🤌
Wonderful friendly helpful staff. Great products. We always get several cheeses 🧀, tea, chocolate, and much more. Love this place.
Amazing store with a lot to offer. Even though the ice festivals were going on, they had cheese and sausage tasters along with other items to enjoy. The shop owners were very helpful and answered any questions we had. They have an amazing selection of fancy ones to choose from along with Valentine's Day gifts.

Had a blast kayaking here. The owners are awesome and give you great tips to have the best experience during your adventure on the water. If you haven't gone kayaking, it's a must do experience to put on your bucket list.
Great experience. Single kayaks, or doubles. People were very friendly and helpful too.
My boyfriend and I had a great time here! It's a very beautiful place to kayak at an inexpensive price. It's also nice you have an option to go the rapid part or not. The owners were helpful and friendly too. I would highly recommend this place! I'll be returning for my third trip soon!😃🛶
Absolutely a blast!!! We had a great time! We did the 2 hour loop. First time it took just over an hour to finish. Second trip only took a half hourish. First part of the trip is calm and you paddle your way through. Then you get out and walk you kayak across the dam. When you get back in.... hello current and small rapids!! Hahahah. It was a blast. The 2nd time you take the kayak (not as clearly marked) out the hill is very steep and can be difficult to carry the kayak up the hill. We did the loop twice and took about 3 hours total. We will definitely go again!!!
Just had the absolutely weirdest run in with the female blonde owner of this business. Out hiking the trails for the first time and decided to see what prices were at the kayak business when the blonde owner comes up super friendly and within 20-30 seconds conversation chews on me for absolute stupidest reason! What did I do that was so bad? She comes up and is super pleasant to talk to and I’m talking about how awesome the trails are and first time walking them and I’m seeing her kayakers the whole time having fun on the river which I made the mistake of telling her was dirty!!!!!!! Upon saying this to the owner she unloaded on me and says “I don’t come to your business and insult your business”! To say the conversation from there only went downhill is an understatement. I was only telling the truth as the water was very chummy and stagnant on the river I noticed. Now in her defense I get it she’s passionate about her business and the lake and river BUT she was 100% wrong in attacking me just for commenting on the river being dirty. To the owner who got nasty with me you were super nice and pleasant for 20 seconds until you lost your crap when I only said your precious river was dirty. Literally all I said and I was not insulting your business one bit. I looked at your prices online and they are really affordable and also all I saw on the river and lake were happy customers so there’s that! I hope you think over how you attacked me and realize it was not warranted and you need to do better! Go out for a peaceful hike and get a bitter business owner in return. Also your creeks at least are flowing and decent to kayak in so there’s a nice comment for your business!
We take our own kayaks!! Love it there, open lake leads to a beautiful river, surrounded by trees
I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS PLACE. People who live in this town don't even know it exists.. and that is so sad. This is the place to go to feel at peace.. surrounded by nature. It's seriously so so beautiful.. and fun!! Downed trees make for an exciting twist. Just make sure you don't tip! Lots of places to pull over to admire the sites, take a break, have a snack, and explore!!! The owners are also amazing. So friendly and welcoming.
A hidden gem in the Tecumseh area! Awesome staff, great rates and several options for whatever you want to do on the water. The wildlife along the canal is truly amazing, you quickly forget how close to the city you are! Rent canoes, kayaks or bring your own, the river trips are always a good time for the whole family!

Great venue! I made the trip from the Cincinnati area to see Lola Kristine. Fantastic show! Wonderful sound and lighting. Special thanks to Amy for bringing my friend Lola to the TCA!
A great venue for a concert. The seats are comfortable and the restrooms are clean. There is also plenty of parking.
I came to see a production of Matilda and it was AMAZING! And I'm not just saying that because my adorable niece was in it.
Great venue for last minute music in the park switch up due to inclement weather. The Blues group (Jack Pines Savages) was amazing and kept us all tapping our feet. Busch's market cooked and offered hot dogs in a lobby along with chips and pop for a reasonable price.
My parents, brother, and sister in law went to see Greg Morton yesterday. We saw him in Florida when my parents came to visit a couple of years ago. They wanted to see him since so bad, so a year waiting and he didn't disappoint. The venue was amazing. The parking was so easy for them, especially with them needing close parking. Everything made for a perfect double date night!
Always an excellent experience. Mostly there for kid events for my children. Not posting photos for protection of individual kids.
Went and saw The Nutcracker recently and had a wonderful time. Tickets were very reasonable, the seating is comfortable and the performance was outstanding. It was my first time visiting but most certainly won't be my last. Highly recommend checking them out!
Wonderful for children in the community

We have been visiting J. Trees pretty regularly for a few years, the old Blissfield tasting room was so cozy, the new space is much larger but still a comfortable atmosphere. Jon and all of his staff are very friendly. The wines are a bit of a mixed bag, I don't doubt that anyone could fall in love with at least one but there are others that may not appeal to everyone. His ciders are another story, all are great and each has a unique character, some are also different on tap versus bottle.
Went to J. Trees after a visit at Pentamere down the road. Very different type of tasting room, focusing on hard ciders and apple-based wines. We really enjoyed the setting and staff. If you like hard ciders and apples, this place is like your utopia. And although I am not such a fan, the tasting room deserved four-stars for ambiance alone.
Visited on 4/14/18. I had high hopes here, however the ciders and wine fell short, in my opinion. The location and venue were 5/5, staff 5/5, but the actual product was 2/5. The Frazzle sparkling wine was my favorite tasting there. The remainder of everything else I tried smelled very barnyard/cow-pie and tasted of bandaids-- aka they added Brettanomyces. Some folks are into that, but I find it very off-putting and unpleasant.
Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Wide variety of ciders from dry to sweet. Definitely a great place to go with friends for a couple hours on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Cannot wait to go back!
Only one red wine no crackers to neutralize pallets. Sparkling frezzel was the best. Tasting prices a little high, bottle prices on high end staff was friendly.
Drove an hour to visit winery, not open at noon like posted . Got your name from pioneer trail very disappointed ..... went to flying otter and John called us gonna give them a second try .... glad we went back John was very nice ... enjoyed the Riesling
An okay winery. The wine is decent and the food is very overpriced. The service was pretty bad. You'll be better off visiting Pentamere where the service is much better!
The cider has a very odd taste. I have tried it twice now and still cannot finish a glass.

Great little store, has some N Scale, lots of O Scale and intro level Lion Chief box Sets, puzzles, Models and RC AC parts. However, just as a FYI, no RC Car stuff if thats your reason for looking.
Well-rounded hobby shop. There's a little of everything there. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because the model railroad selection is a little limited. Plenty of free parking out back, employees were friendly, lots of model planes/ships/cars, and even learning toys and puzzles. I always try to stop by to buy something when I'm in town.
I found a rare and very hard to find model kit on J-Bar Hobbies website and i wanted to confirm that they did indeed have it. I live in Texas so I called and I was very impressed by the service I received over the phone. The woman I spoke with was extremely polite and helpful and she found that they did in fact have 1 kit left in stock. She told me that it was not on the shelf and that it was probably in the back and that she would be happy to check for me. I gave her my contact information and she found it and quickly gave me a call back. I was so excited and happy! They shipped it the very next day and when I received it today I couldnt wait to see it. The packaging was top notch and very professional. Once I opened it, it was wrapped inside of the box as well just like a Christmas present. Also included was a sprue tree with a note attached stating that the specific kit i purchase had a run problem where 1 sprue tree was missing and that Revell had sent the replacement just in case. It doesn't get any better than that! I'm smiling ear to ear and couldn't be more happy! Thank you J-Bar Hobbies for the excellent experience and I look forward to shopping with you again in the future!
My kids call this “The Train Store” because they LOVE the trains that are up top. You can find all kinds of hobby stuff here and classic toys! It’s always on my list of places to go when I’m in downtown Tecumseh
This place is out of this world. You´re there and ask yourself "this is real?". It`s a hobby store from the 70´s, right in front of you. One of those places made with lots of love. Hope they be there for the next centuries.
Living in Tucson, it's rare to find NASCAR truck models kits I just hit J- Bar out of curiosity because I am from Warren Mi.As a kid on vacation from Connecticut visiting my grandparents I would go to Joe's hobby on Van Dyke and get models, finding this just lit me up finding vintage NASCAR kits, I feel the price for vintage is fine compared to new, you can't get the vintage kits on Amazon. This place is a gold mine, stuff on Ebay is so so.I have a pretty good stash right now, so most likely I will be hitting up J-Bar in the future.Hey just get a Porta Potty for the whiny people...LOL.
I am very pleased with my online purchase. Fairly priced and shipped fast! Thanks again, J-Bar Hobbies!
10/10 service and will have what you are looking for. Couldn’t be more pleased with my new b 24!

Great antique shop. It's winding and full of beautiful items from floor to ceiling. It's packed with every style, era and genre. Every time we visit, I'm amazed by the vast and unique assortment of treasures. This is truly worth the drive. You can find everything and anything. I can't wait for my next trip. Very very impressed. This spot is a true gem for treasure hunting.
This place is so organized with a abundant amount of antiques and no over crowding. They have many specialty rooms. Example: clock room, oil lamp room, & a glassware room to name a few. We really enjoyed our time here and will return in the future.
Excellent, with plenty of quality antiques (actual antiques, not vintage). Well organized. Left happy with several things!
Lots of high quality antiques. Fairly well organized. Prices are a little higher than other places in the area. Lots of parking with easy access off highway.
Former Hitching post-big shop! This was a little less my style as I am a fan of mid-century, but they had a lot of really rustic items if you collect that sort of style.
Fantastic place. Very well organized . Lots and lots to choose from. Very friendly and helpful staff. Must stop in.
wow, what a store. Huge antique mall with turn of the century antiques. This place is full of different rooms, some set up like vignettes-- the parlor, the drugstore. There's an entire room full of odds and ends, one full of clocks, another old books. There's also an outbuilding full of furniture. I don't think many good deals will be found here though. Prices seemed high to me.
Lots of old stuff , been in there numerous times over the years

Thank you to Bob, Gary, Deb, Cynthia and all the other volunteers at the museum that I met today. I had a very good time and joined! Thank you for taking the time to teach the community. History is important!
Went to visit on a Saturday afternoon with my friend and our daughters. We learned so much! Both of the docents were very knowledgeable, and showed us some very cool things, including a newspaper from 1918. It was a great experience!
I love this beautiful stone building! It’s a nice, quaint historical museum that houses the Tecumseh Area Historical Society. The museum’s exhibits are always changing and highlight important people and historical events that helped create the City of Tecumseh. The Tecumseh Area Historical Society has many newspaper clippings, historical genealogy records, yearbooks and some Tecumseh city directories available in its Reference Library.

So easy! Ordered online and they were delivered to my mom the next day. They even called her when they were delivering and put them in the garage for her. Compared to pricing for my mother-in-laws flowers (Mother's Day), up north, this was much more reasonable!! Thank you :)
I ordered alter flowers to honor my parents at church. I live in Texas so trusted they would create a beautiful arrangement to be delivered to Clinton. I was not disappointed, the flowers were beautiful and perfect for honoring my parents. Thank you!!
I ordered a custom arrangement and gave a few subtle requests. The flowers were absolutely stunning! I’m so glad I gave them creative license. Highly recommend.
Beautiful plant! Couldn't ask for better. Something that Matt's Mom will enjoy in remembrance of Matt. Thank you!
Ordered a floral arrangement to be delivered to a local funeral home for a very special and dear woman, they really came through 100%, such a beautiful arrangement and if I lived closer I would be there weekly to order flowers! Thanks so much.
Worst customer service ever. My grandmother and I went in looking for floral arrangements for a wedding and were shocked to walk in and see four women around a table eating lunch. My grandmother said she had photos of what she was interested in getting and no one had any urgency to help. They stared at us as if they were waiting for us to ask if we should come back later as to not “disrupt” their meal. The women asked us if we had already had lunch… as if we were going to join them? Very disrespectful and disappointing, as the sign said they were open but were actively eating in the middle of the establishment and told us to come back when they were done eating. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing .
Grey Fox always pays attention to the small details and their arrangements are beautiful. Their online ordering process is easy, and their deliveries are on time.
I have been ordering twice a year for 20 years from Florida for my mother and am always extremely satisfied. Thank you for the consistent beautiful arrangements.
