It’s ok, nothing special. It’s a bit of a tourist trap to be honest. I can’t believe people travel all the way from Yerevan to see the monastery. It’s nice to see that the local people have restored the building.

It was absolutely worth the long drive from Georgia. One of the most beautiful monasteries I have seen in my life. It’s a must-see for anyone who visits Armenia. Near the entrance there is a fascinating small museum dedicated to oil pressing processes that were developed in the monastery. In front of the temple, local women sell souvenirs and home-made snacks. Great place to buy small gifts.

Well worth the trip. Cable car is easiest way to get there and is an experience in itself. The Monastery is interesting and you might be lucky enough to get "mass" / a blessing in main church. Try not to let the "influencers" bother your too much!!! Grab a snack at one of the local stands. The chicken kebab was absolutely delicious. If you have a car take a spin to the viewing point. It was not as busy as some people mention.

One of the most beautiful monasteries in the country. And not very crowded. The monastery itself is beautiful, much larger than many of the others. The main building is pretty imponent. The surrounding buildings have several corridors and rooms, with some dangerous parts for older people or people with issues walking. The landscape around the monastery is breathtaking. This is a great place for pictures. In the small square building outside the walls, you can find a small museum. Women must cover their hair when inside the main building. There are some pieces of cloth that can be used for this purpose.

Devil’s Bridge (Satani Kamurj) is one of Armenia’s most fascinating natural wonders, where geology, history, and legend collide. Beneath it, turquoise thermal pools bubble and shimmer, rich with mineral deposits that paint the rocks in surreal colors – from emerald green to rusty orange. Ancient locals believed this place was protected by supernatural forces, and stories still whisper about mysterious happenings under the bridge. Some say the name “Devil’s Bridge” came from its seemingly impossible structure, as if only dark magic could have created it. Today, it’s a paradise for adventurous souls – you can explore the hidden caves, bathe in the warm mineral pools, and stand above the roaring river feeling like you’ve discovered a secret from another world.

Where to start…the place you would like to see is simply stunning and worth to go! Just as many people already mentioned, there are “guides” who charge you to go with you and discover the place. They ask for 5000AMD per person but never accept that! Without guiding they will charge you 3000AMD anyway because you have use the ropes by which they stay and it would be highly uncomfortable to tell them that you will not pay at all… we ended up paying 3500AMD per person and the “guides” showed us everything. Is it possible to do without the guide? Most likely but as a foreigner it can be quite uncomfortable to communicate it with them. But at the end you have to agree that with or without guide it’s totally worth it and its total beauty the entire canyon! It’s just all about the principles and rules you are ready to accept.

Like any other washed-out gorge. Only that here accessibility is not optimal if there's many people or people with limited agility.

A rough, bit slippery path down to near the river, then a sort, steep rope assisted climb to the iron ladder crossing the river. We didn't go down.

We took a guide for 5,000 AMD per person, which was worth it. It’s really beautiful and unique. The water is lukewarm, and we enjoyed playing in the pools.

Interesting place, it requires some abilities to see the whole place, since you've to climb and walk in running water. It can be dangerous, but local guides can help you

Nice place is you climb down the rope. Initially we went at 7am decided not to climb down as it looked risky. We came back at 11am and found a guide who helped us climb down for 5000pax. Water is not really hot, it's lukewarm.
