Always wanted to visit here from Florida. One of the few tracks in America that run thoroughbred & quarter horses. Had a fantastic time & got to meet Armando Cervantes after he won the $1 million Golden State Futurity on American Dreamin for Dunn Ranch
Don’t bother coming here unless you want to deal with some of the rudest service imaginable. The old men who run the place act like they’re above you, as if you shouldn’t even speak to them — even though you’re the paying customer. Bring up an issue, and they’re instantly dismissive, annoyed, and make you feel like you’re out of line just for wanting something done correctly. Ask a genuine question, and they treat it as if it’s ridiculous for you to even ask. On top of that, the environment is disgusting. You’ll constantly be surrounded by cigarette smoke and the strong smell of weed that you can’t escape, making the whole experience miserable. I’ve never written a review in my life, but this place made me understand why people leave horrible ones. I honestly have no idea how this place has above 1 star. If I could give it zero, I would. If you’re new to horse racing and want to feel welcomed, don’t come here. This place is not for genuine fans or newcomers — it’s only for the same bitter crowd that’s been hanging around here for decades. Everyone else is made to feel like they don’t belong. And just as a side note: never order a Diet Coke or any soda here. It tastes absolutely awful, like they haven’t cleaned the soda lines in 50 years. It has that dirty, moldy aftertaste that makes you wonder if it’s even safe to drink. - With all due disrespect, a customer you’ll never see again
We went to the track took all my grand kids: they we're having a Halloween dress contest and a carnival atmosphere for the kids games to play and a chance to win best dressed " a 500 dollars grant prize, and enjoy the races. We had dinner there at the restaurant awesome food with great service
3 bucks admission. Sit upstairs with tv’s on the terrace, bars on every floor, bet all around the world, but be prepared for 3 and 400 meter races at the locals! 10 races, great fun
The race track is a fun evening out with friends. You get to bet on horses, see them before they race, and then hopefully collect your winnings. The food is bland and beer is expensive but they need to pay the rent. The fun time doing something different with friends is really what makes this place a great night!
Los Alamitos Race Course is my first experience at a race track. Parking is free for general parking or you can pay $5 for preferred which is not really necessary excuse the lot is huge. General admissions is $3 per person. You can purchase books that tell you what time the races start, bios on the horse and details about the jockey. Pens cost $1. There is a restaurant here with a dress code. Also a bar that is $10 admission except after the last race. They have a few places inside where you can purchase food and drinks. I recommend old Mexican cantina. The food is great, drinks are even better and the staff is so sweet and kind. Seating is available indoor and outdoor. You can tell by the size of this place that it used to be very popular. You can also tell it has not had very much upkeep to the facilities outside of the track itself. They have lots of TV’s many flat screen but an equal amount of older box TV’s. Staff here is very nice, knowledgeable and helpful. They could do a better job of cleaning up. So much trash is left behind. Great place to come with the family. Smoking is allowed in designated areas. I had so much I came two days in a row. Night racing is amazing. Seeing the sun set and the palm trees and the beautiful horses are a beautiful site. I had a great time and will return. Be prepared to see people protesting at the entrance also.
Always a treat at Los Al, it was the first race track I've bet at and it's extremely welcoming I've has some odd experiences though, from rude service to bets not going through on time. I'll continue to attend races here, it's what my Uncle would have wanted.
Not very busy, fairly cheap (few dollars, kids are free), and parking is free. Good place to take the kids and watch some horses close up and watch races, provided you avoid the smoking areas. Too bad they will be moving soon...

Bit of a wine snob and I ventured in waiting for a smog check and was blown away with the quality of their portfolio. Sta. Rita Hills Pinot is my favorite wine and they make a true expression that stands up to the best I’ve had from the region. The rose to go in a growler was also a huge hit among our friends; went very well with oysters and the blood orange forward Grenache rose is a must re-visit. Seal beach has it all, ask for Greg!
A decent little winery utilizing local vineyards with a good selection of both red and white wines. The only wine that I particularly disliked was the Merlot which had bafflingly strong green pepper flavor throughout. I recommend giving their tastings a try, particularly if there's a good Groupon deal. We had $42 for a tasting for two, which was 6 tastings each and a $30 credit towards full glasses or bottles.
The person serving us was a bit on the rude side. Not sure why,..but we did the tasting and left. The Merlot was my favorite. I know I read something about cheese plates you could get there. And some other folks there had one. Yet when we asked for something she just said no and walked away. Other than the Merlot didn't care for rest. Really pricey and might have purchased if I could have sipped a glass instead of a few swallows but needed a little something to eat...so just paid and left. Maybe your server should be a little nicer to all paying customers. I am a firm believer in the fact that servers are so important to the face of the establishment. Response to establishments reply: we did only one tasting because all wines offered were in the tasting. Normally we do two with each of us having a different selection. Then we share our opinions on each wine. We have a glass of what we like. The intent is to purchase a some bottles in the end. The customer with cheese and nuts were asking the server questions about the nuts on her plate...so the assumption was that you had some sort of nibbles. As for your website, I read you had cheese plates on it some where. Was in the car and got to your place after driving for two hours. Didn't see anything about you NOT having any snacks. So my apologies for thinking you might have some. I should have called before we got ther. Thank you for responding.
Great winery! Everything I had I enjoyed from whites to reds. Greg was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, making for a fun experience. Approachable welcoming style to round out the wonderful wines. Looking forward to my next visit!
Absolutely fantastic experience! Groupon is a great deal as well. Seriously enjoyed it all, and took home two bottles. Covid didn’t allow them to serve food, but we brought our own mean, cheese, crackers, and almonds which their website said was okay right now. Worked perfect! The cab and Chardonnay were our favorites at the time.
Great urban tasting room with some really good bottle and tap wines. Tasting menu offers 6 wines for only $20!
We had an amazing time. Rebecca was very personable and we enjoyed chatting with her about the wines. Highly recommend. The prices are SUPER reasonable. It was a lovely experience and we will be back!
Took my wife here for our anniversary weekend. Really great wines. The staff was very friendly and informative. The entire environment was welcoming and they really gave us a great experience.

Spiritual and friendly athmosphere with a lot of history, small plaza with a 1924 built temple. A pleace must visit in los Alamitos City
Día de Los Muertos event on Oct. 23rd, 2021. Everyone was so nice! Customers, other Vendors, the staff and especially the student volunteers!
Quaint and cozy little hidden gem to hold a small reception at. Beautiful little patio area just outside the ondoor dining area. Parking is slim to none so you have to carpool or arrive early if you're coming here for an event. Kitchen and bathrooms inside.
Walked from Cypress College to St Isidore plaza and came back home. Total 4 hours of hike (was absolutely knackered at the end). Sort of felt like an at-home urban hiking or pilgrimage. Also apparently last night was 'blue moon' only to come again in 2037. Over all a good atmosphere in chilly night in summer. About the plaza it is vacant and a cop once made a round. Not much to see other than the serenity after pilgrimage as well as Virgin Mary's outstretched hand of refuge.
Nice outdoor historic venue for events & parties!
Wonderful historic chapel with beautiful stained glass windows. Perfect for weddings and other events. Love the Tamale making class fund raiser each year. Love to see it at night with festive lights dressing up their plaza. Can rent chapel, hall, plaza and large meeting /event room for private parties. Perfect venue for weddings. Worth visiting just to appreciate a horic spot in Los Alamitos, CA.
Beautiful little church with so much history. My grandma helped to secure this place as a historical landmark. It is a great place to celebrate and offers a kitchen, banquet room, and large patio for any number of events. Parking can be at a premium but the lot next door is available per request.
Wonderful people, a peaceful place to visit

In 2022, I purchased a Venture Pro Version 2 diving vest in Australia. Two years later, one of the batteries malfunctioned. Unfortunately, the local distributor in Australia showed little interest in addressing the issue. I then reached out to Venture Heat in the USA and was promptly met with a courteous response. From that moment on, the communication was nothing short of exceptional, with kind and thoughtful correspondence. Venture Heat generously offered to replace my vest with a new model. I am extremely grateful for the outstanding customer service provided by Venture Heat, and I would like to extend my sincere thanks, particularly to Leslie, who managed my case with great care. The level of service I received is exemplary, and I believe there is much Australia could learn from such a high standard of customer care. Thank you, Venture Heat, for both an excellent product and exceptional service.
I always hate Contacting Customer Service because you can never get ahold of anyone. I had to bite the bullet and contact Venture customer service a couple of times. What a great group of people! Fast- almost immediate replies, quick and easy solutions, easy to follow directions and overall- one of the best customer service interactions I have had in years! Bravo to you Venture! Keep up the great work! Nick
Venture Heat goes out of their way to provide all aspects of excellent customer service. The product quality is unsurpassed, and their turnaround time is quick and done with utmost care. I highly recommend them!
I communicated with Leslie from Customer Service who assisted me with an exchange. I purchased a motorcycle jacket liner that was too big and I sent it back in exchange for a smaller size. The company's policy is to inspect the item to be exchanged before they send the new item. The exchange is facilitated through the USPS and it takes many days for packages to travel between California and Florida. I asked Leslie if there was a way to speed up the process because of an upcoming motorcycle trip, and she told me that I could purchase a new jacket liner and the exchanged liner's status would be reclassified as a return and they would forego the $10 return fee the company charges. Exchange items are free and a returned item includes a $10 fee. Although you can only contact the company through email correspondence, I found them responsive and willing to accommodate my needs. Thank you very much Leslie and Venture Heat.
This company is amazing. When I first tried to order their heated dive vest, they were out of stock but would let me know when they were available. They were true to their word and the vest arrived in 3 days from the west coast to Hawaii. Then when I lost the remote controller, I emailed them. When they opened in the morning, I had a new one order in 1.5 hours. All this was done through email. Leslie was prompt, pleasant and a joy to work with. Not only do I recommend their product but I don’t think their customer service could possibly be better. Thank you, Venture Heat.
I had an excellent customer service experience at Venture Heat. One of two batteries that came with a new set of glove liners didn't work. Leslie answered my email to customer service almost immediately. After exchanging 1 set of messages, she sent out a replacement battery. I am so happy to have received such great service from Venture Heat. I will continue purchasing items from Venture Heat. They really stand behind their products.
I have another brand of heated jacket that has a controller very similar to the old style at venture heat. It fell off the jacket on the freeway and that brand has discontinued the controller. The old style Venture Heat controller is a near exact copy of that controller and after a quick email, discovered they had some in stock. An easy purchase online and quick shipping got me back in business for spring riding. The next time I’m in the market for new heated gear I’ll certainly be shopping Venture Heat. Customer service was spot on.
Customer service at Venture Heat was excellent. Very quick response time and they stayed on top of my missing package and even contacted me about it, I didn’t have to contact them, which was really unusual and great. I love the products I did receive (heated shirt and leggings) and I will order from them again for sure.

Before I moved to CA, I had been seeing the same esthetician for about 10 years. And I loved her work. Then I moved to CA and found Natalia. Not only do I love Natalia's work, but it doesn't hurt when she waxes me. I've spent 10 years getting my brows painfully waxed when it turns out it never needed to hurt 🤦
I've followed Natalia for the past 6 years and am so happy she has her own place. She does an amazing job and is a wonderful person. She takes her time and is skilled at her craft
I came to Natalia with sparse brows that I’d been growing out. Walking in, the salon was clean and inviting. She was a pleasure to talk to and made me feel at ease while working on my brows. I never imagined my brows looking this good! I love the results! She is amazing! Highly recommend.
Natalia does a beautiful job shaping my eyebrows. Her studio is clean and cute. She is really nice and the parking is easy. I highly recommend.
Natalia is a pro at her specialty. The results for my friends and myself are amazing. I highly recommend her.
I recently moved to Long Beach and have been searching places for brows, it was super difficult for me to find a right person or place. I loved the shape of my brows and was very used to it and its thickness but I moved here from Europe and since than my search for a good brow professional is on... After failing for 2 times and completely ruining my brows I contacted Natalia I found her and her business through google maps. She has small comfortable and super clean room in Naples that I find super convenient for me. She is very knowledgeable of her work and she has been in this industry for about if not more than 8 years and honestly you can easily tell she really does the way she is talking about her work. She did not immediately start waxing my brows she talked to me and explained the process and how long it would take for my brows to return to the shape it used to be, she even draw my brow shape exactly as it was before. Than she started to correct them she was gentle with removing the wax, she took time and was super detailed, and i think because she knew how worried and upset I was with my previous experiences she was explaining process while working and that truly comforted me. As you can tell with this lengthy review my experience with Brows by Natalia was super happy and cant wait to see her again in a week or so. Its been 2 weeks since my appointment and brows still look good.
Just got my brows done by Natalia and I love them ! She’s so nice and welcoming , made me feel really comfortable wanted that natural looks for my brows and she aced it ! Really satisfied with her work ! Thank you Natalia !! ☺️
I had by eye brows done by Natalia about 2 months ago and the retouch which is included in the price just a few days ago. I was pretty scared to be honest. I basically had no eye brows at all. She made me feel relaxed. Took her time doing it. No rush at all. It has saved me so much time in the mornings!! And I'm very pleased with the results!

I LOVE this place, and everyone who works and goes there! I always feel like I'm at home with family! I live in Northridge and come down to Seal Beach every weekend to help my dad who's suffering with dementia, then I hang out here and feel free!! 🤗🥰
Disgusting, horrible, nasty, throw-up in your mouth smell...couldn't finish my warm bottle of Stella Artois, between the smell and the warm beer, I fled. HORRIBLE!!!!!!! Seriously, the health department needs to shut this place down. Only gave one star just so I could post to warn others about it.
Happy Birthday Brandon Clack!!!! What a great place to have a celebration with Friends.
Came in at 10:30 PM. Bartender is a very tall woman. I asked her about the different beers. She mentioned a few then let a mutual friend show me the beer selection behind the glass cooler door that you can’t see through otherwise. When another guy sitting next to me started talking to me about beer that I like and I mentioned that I didn’t like that most Cali bars because they don’t have a decent beer selection. The bartender made a big scene saying that she could over hear me talking “shit.” She never came back over to ask my order. She apparently took personally what I said to the other person I was talking to about SoCal not having good beer selection at bars and even mentioned it out loud to the whole bar saying that I was yelling my complaints. Needless to say, that is the epitome of bad service. She then continued to make jokes to the other people at the bar about me and my private conversation to the guy next to me. I was told that the bartender’s name is Sara.
We have gone here MANY times! The blonde Packers fan waitress made all 10 of us leave Because she said one of the IDs had a blue line!! We kept asking her what does she mean and to explain it to us since we have never ever had a problem before and she was so rude. Even the guy at the bar didn’t understand what her problem was and why she wouldn’t except the id which was 100 a real id! When we left we sent the pic of the id to a friend of ours who is a cop and he even said the lady is out of her mind! Long story short we took our business to griffin grill and spent $480.00. She needs a schooling on When a 21 yr old comes into her place that the ids are up and down now not sideways! But she was too rude and stubborn to realize that! ✌🏽
Nothing special, in fact a little bit run down..it always looks like the lights are not on and had an unpleasant odor towards the back half of bar, where patrons play pool. ..I do appreciate the bartender lady working on the 1st of July, great service and very welcoming....I wish I would have gotten her name to give her the credit she deserves
Very cool spot to go into . I like the vibe, it’s not loud and bright and crowded nor does it have horrible music blasting . It reminds me of a good ole bar my dad would probably go to if he went to bars. The prices are good and the service is good. It’s a cool spot to check out. It has a locals vibe to it and it may seem off putting but the folks there were great.
Do you like $3.50 beers? Do you want to say "hi" to the same woman every weekend and never have her remember your name? Do you want to play scratchers while you sip your beer? Do you want a stranger to offer you a bowl home cooked chili while you are drinking? Do you want a random dog to greet you at the door? Do you want a random guy to take off your converse sneakers and tie the shoelaces in an intricate pattern that he learned in 1972? Then this is the place for you.
