As a long-time Fuzzy Baby Ducks fan from Massachusetts it was great to finally visit the source. I was there early and it was quiet, but the brewery itself looks impressive and certainly turns out some great beers. The taproom and merch didn't disappoint and I spent way too much during my short visit :-)
We threw my cousin a surprise 20th in their private room, the Barrel Room. Christina was extremely helpful and prompt when responding to questions about the space and booking. The space was perfect and gave off the perfect ambiance. The staff was friendly and helpful when it came to set up and checking in with the party. Everyone at the party had a wonderful time and loved the beer and drink selection. Will definitely be returning and would highly recommend to anyone planning a private party.
Rented the barrel room recently for a birthday party and had a great experience! Beer was awesome as always, and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Was a little warmer in the space than in taproom (warm summer day) but overall great experience and would recommend!
First time at NEBCO. Have been a long-standing member of Stoney Creek's Mug Club, so had to go check out NEBCO after the acquisition of the S.C. property in Branford. So far, no disappointments: Great beers. Excellent service. Good people in attendance at the location. Can't wait to see what is done in Branford! Looking forward to a return soon!
IPA's were on point and the one apple brandy stout I had I thoroughly enjoyed.
Stopped by the taproom for a Fuzzy Duck. Delicious as always. A nice comfortable area to sit and have a drink. Outside seating is available and a food truck was here. Terrific brewery.
Great vibe, fun decorations! Live music, good seating. Not much else you could ask for. Some summery beers on tap and one bba stout we took home.
A special local spot. NEBCO cares about making amazing beer and creating community and you can truly see it in this new location. Great spot to bring family or friends. Beautiful views and wonderful food options. This is my new go to spot! Will be making many memories here.

Their "St Croix" was unique and had a tart finish akin to pure cranberry juice. Very friendly staff and a great place to catch up with friends or host events.
First time coming here. Wines were average, staff were friendly. We tried a flight of 4, mixed between Red, White and Rose. We brought our own charcuterie board to snack on while enjoying the view of the vineyard Pets welcome 🐾
Quaint vineyard, on the smaller side but that provides a more intimate experience. I appreciate that many of their wines are estate grown, but a lot of these I didn't enjoy --rather "rough" tasting (very tart whites, unbalanced reds). However, I will say their Merlot is absolutely fantastic. Its a real standout in an otherwise average line up. I will definitely continue to visit this winery when I am in the area!
Came here for this first time and enjoyed a wine flight of red and white wine. Small but cute winery.
I’ve been to all 38 vineyards on the CT trail two times. This vineyard is quaint with seating out doors but not enough in the shade on a sunny day. The staff was having a lot of fun gabbing behind the bar… but I was taken care of immediately. The wine by glass is comparable to most of the other 37. I sipped the Merlot. It was average compared to other local merlots. Overall an average place.
Great red wines and a really pleasant staff! Our guide was a teacher by day and really enjoyed this job at the winery. Glad we made it this weekend as they close down until the spring.
Incredible staff, lovely space, wonderful vibe. Wine is very unique to the area, many interesting vintages. Definitely come on the weekend when there’s live music too! All of the other guests were so nice and friendly too!
Experience is fun....quaint and intimate. Wine is good. Ct wine has distinct different taste.....not bad. Had cheese plate, flight and two glasses of our most liked wine. Staff was friendly.

This review is long overdue. I play at Oak Lane often for a multitude of reasons. To put it quite simply, this course is a “gem”. As a public course, pound for pound this is the best bang for your buck. I’d stack this up against Great River, Centennial and almost any other track you can name within a 50 mile radius. Fairways are gorgeous. Greens are true and very fast. Layout is terrific and the staff is as welcoming as it gets. Do yourself a favor and head to Tradition at Oak Lane and tell em, Alan sent ya. I promise you won’t be disappointed. But be warned - this track will challenge your best game.
Really nice course, good price, and carts are very comfortable with GPS. There is a mix of dog legs and wide open fairways which is nice. The fairways themselves are in good shape especially considering drought conditions. The greens are incredibly difficult for the average player. Every green slants forward a large amount and they are very hard to read. Not one person in my group could sink a 1st putt. Very difficult to get a ball to sit on the green with an iron shot. The different color flags on the green to determine flag position was a nice touch and a great idea. Rangers are seen a lot trying to push along the rate of play. I can see this can be frustrating to some. We were told to speed up even though the 2 groups in front of us were holding us up. Maybe try spreading tee times out a few minutes? All in all we had a good time at this course aside from the frustrating greens.
Played here for the first time with my dad, cousin and uncle on April 9, 2025. We had a lot of fun. The starter, Tracey, was very nice. The course was in good shape and I really liked the layout of some of the holes. Pace of play was good. We’ll be back!
My boyfriend and I recently made the 2+ hour drive to Oak Lane Golf Course, excited for a relaxing day together while he played a round. He’s an experienced golfer with a 1 handicap and has played nearly every public course in Connecticut never once encountering a course that enforces a strict no spectators rule, especially not this rigidly. To be fair, we later saw the no spectator policy listed on their website, our mistake for missing it. But we still hoped for some basic human decency and understanding. I wasn’t asking to play, just to walk along and spend time with him. We even offered to pay a fee for me to accompany him, or adjust the tee time.. anything to make it work. But the staff at the front desk were incredibly rude and completely unwilling to make any kind of accommodation. What’s frustrating is that golf is meant to be more than just a sport, it’s about companionship, conversation, and connection. Whether it’s with your partner, friend, or parent, walking the course together is part of the experience. This policy and the cold, unbending way it was enforced completely undermines that spirit. We were left with no option but to turn around and drive home, unable to spend time together doing something we both enjoy. I understand having rules, but I also understand that hospitality and flexibility are part of what makes a golf course feel welcoming. Unfortunately, Oak Lane offered neither. We won’t be returning and for other couples or families who enjoy the game together, this is probably not the place for you.
Course is always in great shape. Staff is always diligent and organized. Usually very good at monitoring and aiding pace of play if it slows down. Carts are up to date with interactive screens. Some tight tee shots and approaches make it interesting, and there are also some wide open holes and short par 4s/5s to swing away and go after. Great course, very playable for average golfers.
I visit my old home Connecticut each summer for a couple of months for the last 3 years and I must say this is one of the finest maintained daily fee courses you can play in the state. Equal to many town courses, and as of end of July the greens are as good as many private golf clubs. Very friendly staff, beverage service on the course and a nice driving range. I definitely recommend giving this course a try, competitive pricing and the round will be both challenging and fun.
Played on a whim when bringing my daughter for college orientation. Course was in great shape and looking forward to 4 years of visiting. Will definitely try to fit a round in each time.
My favorite restaurant and golf course! The food is amazing always!!

Truly a world class museum in an unlikely location. A wonderful place to bear witness to the struggle, as well as celebrate the joy of Palestinian history and culture. A special thank you to our guide Faisel for curating such a special collection and patiently answering our questions. PS Yes, it's in a corporate office building, you're in the right place!
a fantastic museum that celebrated Palestinian lives and culture. They have lots of artwork by Palestinian artists. It is recommended that you email the museum to make appointments instead of just showing up.
It is a gem in our backyard that most people do not know about! Art work is peaceful to enjoy in a beautifully curated museum. I have been to talks, cooking demonstration, and concerts. You can watch current movies relating to Palestine made by professional directors online.
This museum was so heartwarming. The beautiful culture of Palestine and the wonderful Palestinian people representing their heritage going back decades and decades. The art, poetry, authentic photos and documents, and collection of new and old artifacts are great to see, when so many people are trying to erase its existence. It’s so important to preserve It’s wonderful culture, heritage, and traditions.I will return.
In a nondescript Woodbridge, Connecticut office building lies an unexpected cultural treasure. The Palestine Museum US occupies 6,500 square feet of unremarkable corporate space, but step inside and you're transported far from vanilla Connecticut suburbia. Founded in 2018 by Palestinian American businessman Faisal Saleh with $500,000 of his own money, this is the first Palestinian museum in the Americas. Saleh, who made his fortune in employee benefits consulting, deliberately bought rather than rented the building—protecting the institution from potential political pressure. "For a Palestinian museum to exist," he explains, "you have to have a hardened space." While Saleh maintains the museum's cultural focus, his recent involvement organizing Gaza memorial events demonstrates how Palestinian cultural preservation intersects with contemporary realities. The museum emphasizes artistic achievement and historical documentation over political advocacy. The crown jewel is a suspended installation of forty-plus keffiyehs knotted into a "bridge" spanning the central gallery. Traditional black-and-white checkered Palestinian headscarves hang from the ceiling in an intricate web, creating literal and metaphorical connections. Visitors walk beneath this canopy of cultural symbols. The collection punches above its weight. Works by internationally renowned artist Samia Halaby—whose pieces hang in the Guggenheim—share space with emerging voices like 18-year-old Gaza artist Malak Mattar. A striking mixed-media piece features a figure in traditional Palestinian thobe surrounded by white doves and red poppies. Historical documentation forms the backbone. Corridors display photographs from the 1900s: Palestinian village life, Jerusalem's architecture, families in traditional dress. These are visual evidence of cultural continuity, carefully preserved and professionally presented. The "Home Away From Home: Little Palestine by the Bay" exhibition showcases photographer Najib Joe Hakim's Bay Area Palestinian portraits, with audio testimonials accessible via QR codes. Professional mannequins display traditional thobes—embroidered dresses whose geometric patterns tell regional stories. Most moving are roughly 200 drawings by Gazan children, their colorful crayon sketches depicting flowers to family scenes—normalcy rendered extraordinary by circumstance. The museum maintains strict policies (no food or drinks) and modest admission fees ($8 adults, $5 seniors/students, $20 family maximum, children 12 and under free). Despite its scale, it achieved international recognition, participating in the Venice Biennale and attracting visitors from 40 countries. The suburban setting initially seems jarring, but works brilliantly. The disconnect between Connecticut strip-mall normalcy and Palestinian cultural preservation creates productive tension. This isn't Palestinian culture as exotic spectacle—it's Palestinian culture as American reality, nestled among accountants' offices. Before 2018, no dedicated Palestinian museums existed in the Western Hemisphere. Saleh's institution asserts Palestinian existence through art, history, and culture—a particularly resonant mission given current events. At its best, the Palestine Museum US demonstrates how cultural institutions can preserve identity while fostering cross-community understanding.
The Palistine Museum US is such an important resource regarding the Palestinian history and art. It has a collection of both new and old pieces, lots of books and a collection of beautiful merchandise. Highly recommend and please support.
absolutely earth shattering display of children’s artwork from the 2014 war. in addition to paintings, sculpture, and textile arts that showcase the beauty of the land and its indigenous culture, the museum hosts powerful collection of academic essays, poetry, and histories about and by the people of palestine. they screen movies and host musical events. this space prompted discussions that will stay with me for a long time. well worth the drive and can’t wait to visit again.
Beautifully curated collection preserving the history and culture of a threatened people. A mix of older objects and art and newer art. Lots of interesting books on display that I will look up later! A hidden gem in a plain building, it's full of an unexpected amount of interesting pieces.

Vibes. The best bowling you can get in the area. Affordable. Fun. Delicious food and drinks. Support local!!
Large accomodating family run business. They consider your set up time in your pricing, have pool table and full service bar. Great for a night out or family event. Great atmosphere.
Neat equipment. Not crowded. Like this place and will come back
I’m so happy this place exists. Is it old and a little run down? Yeah of course. But the lanes are well taken care of. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The bar has cheap drinks, a pool table and the food is satisfying. A group of my friends and I visit this location every month for book club. The friendly bartenders, the popcorn, the “locals” atmosphere and the all around good vibes are what keep us coming back month after month.
Great bowling and good food and specials. Very friendly service. If your in a league, it's just like family.
Good bowling decent prices helpful people
Typical of a larger alley. They have a bar with a pool table, some claw machine games, and a pinball. They are definitely kitted out to accommodate big parties. The food is really very good. Average lanes and electronic score keeping.
Great staff. They are helpful, friendly and are quick to fix everything. Had a great time with my family. Edit 4/23/23 Just went there today and was told they were closing for a private event. There was a closed for an event listed on the web site for 4/22 but today is 4/23 and there wasn't a closing listed on the web site or even on the door. We wasted time and gas and all he could say is he's not responsible for the web site. If your there representing the business your responsible. I had given you a 5 star review. Then you got careless. You've dropped stars and believe me people listen to reviews. Thanks for the.waste of time and money. I've recommended you to so many people . I will be taking that back and recommending another place. Your lost

Its a great dive bar with pool tables and dart and Jenga great spot for group to hangout the drinks are budget friendly as well they also have small outdoor patio to enjoy the breeze of summer
My first time there I enjoyed myself my fiancee a local born and raised it was fun I enjoyed playing Jenga with friends never tried the food tho
No longer serves food. Night is a diverse crowd. Daytime has a regular crowd from the neighborhood. People who aren't from the neighborhood find this establishment friendly and often repeat customers.
It's okay what's with a little itty bitty toddler pool tables
A first time going to scoreboards, the bartender Jamie Paige was very friendly, excellent customer service skills and very prompt. Even the customers we're very friendly and greeted me as I walk through the door. It is a comfortable environment to relax at and enjoy your evening. Even the owner came out and greeted me because I was a new customer.
Because of my age they would only serve me one drink. I’m 23 years old and because my friend made a joke that she was so drunk when I went to order my next drink she was like Oh sorry I’m not serving you, your friends already drunk. I was like she had a strawberry daiquiri she isn’t drunk it was a joke. And she did not care. I never went back, it was really crazy honestly. I didn’t even get tipsy. Don’t call yourself a bar if your not gonna serve drinks to people who clearly are fine because of their age. Not to forget to mention I went in there prior with a permit and because I had a permit she assumed I was 16 without reading my birthday. I had to explain adults also have learning permits and she still refused to serve me. Weird and annoying.
First time at this spot. Liked that there were pool tables, which is why I and some co-workers visited here and the fact that we wanted some drinks at the bar. Even though there were not a lot of people, we had a great time.
I can't take a place seriously when you walk in and it just has a dirty feel to it. I understand being a dive bar but at least have some standards when it comes to cleanliness. Women bartender on Wednesday afternoon was very rude and hard an appearance as if she should of stopped bartending long ago. Can't see why any women would want to step foot in here...
