First time here, went on a Sunday when they opened at 1pm...little line waiting to get in, not bad. A must see!! Wonderful biblical attraction with gardens, small zoo, 4D theatre, planetarium (10-15$ per person depending on 1 or 2 shows), zip lining (not included in price), aerial obstacle course (not included in price). Have a military discount and if u don't buy the Ark and Creation tickets together, make sure you bring your stubs to the other one, well at least when we went to Creation museum we would have got money off as a "bundle" for having already gone to the Ark. Everyone is super friendly! Lots of bathrooms and water fountains which again like the Ark I really appreciate! Coffee shop, ice cream, fudge, cookies, food and snacks, gift shops. Lots of reading as you walk through the museum but so amazing to learn as you walk through the Bible, literally!! The pictures below are just a few of the many things you will see and read! Definitely check this place out!!
We loved everything about the Creation Museum. Parking was easy and plentiful, staff was friendly and welcoming, many, many restrooms available and all clean, grounds are stunning, zoo animals well cared for and the museum itself was outstanding. We had a group of six women traveling from Virginia. We loved the interactive experience with zookeeper in the morning, a wonderful concert in the museum, the planetarium (extra fee), special effects movie theater (extra fee). The museum is beautifully done and very easy to navigate. Thankfully, it was not crowded, so the signs were easy to read. Other guests visiting were friendly as well. Excellent experience. Thank you!
We enjoyed the botanical garden. That's all I can say about the place. Within a few minutes of getting there, we were both ready to leave. We were there less than 2 hours, and I drive 8 hours round trip. We both considered it a disappointment and not worth that extremely long drive. The kid really had a good time on the bridges and the garden were the only highlights for us
This was our visit to the magnificently designed Creation Museum in Kentucky. It was an amazing experience as we came to visit straight from Philadelphia, PA. The entire Creation Museum venue is full of information which is presented is a very accessible way and easy to understand. They have several great bookstores with all kinds of curriculums for Church, Sunday School and VBS related to the Ark, the Flood and Creation and the Tower of Babel, which I highly recommend. We also really enjoyed the appearances and shows happening throughout the day, especially the one on "The Life of Corrie Ten-Boom". The staff is very helpful and has a fantastic attitude! We are definitely planning on coming back.
Wonderful experience! I highly recommend this for everyone of all ages and beliefs. The information is clear and to the point. The various exhibits are beautiful and dramatic. I really enjoyed the museum and you can slow down and go through each exhibit thoroughly. You can finish in a few hours and you will be highly edified.
Went with my family and church group recently and the kids absolutely loved it 😁 All of us had a wonderful time. They have a petting zoo and zip line. A beautiful pond with fish and lilly pads out on the water, the museum itself is very nice!! Good prices for their items in the bookstore. We enjoyed the theater also!!! A nice little playground for the kids to play in while you wait for an event to start. There is literally so much to do and enjoy.
Must do I took my husband here for a 63rd birthday surprise and he loved it. The talks were really great and everything they’re doing in. The museum is super good. They probably need to explain the alien planetarium movie, though it was the worst part of the whole place, but still good. They just need to add more about the spiritual rounds or about the contrasting theories for why they exist. I’m not convinced they don’t. Especially loved the garden of Eden section. We could’ve walked through that several more times. Very majestic.
Hubby and I came here in mid November the day after going to the Ark Encounter. A great time to visit as no huge crowds that I hear can occur during summer or other school holidays. We spent about three hours going through most of the exhibits. We skipped those referring to the flood because we had just been to the Ark. This museum is by the same people who do the Ark Encounter. They mesh very well and have discounts tickets if you go to both locations. We had free tickets to the museum so only paid for the Ark. Both of us felt that they dealt well with the subject for both believers or open non-believers who ask the honest question of how this can be true when compared to the evolution theory taught in public schools. There seems to be a nice cafeteria style restaurant in the building but we didn’t stay. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained.

We had a awesome time zip Lining and doing the free fall experience. Our tour guides were kind and helpful. I wanted to give a massive shout-out to Kailey- one of our tour guides for making our experience so fun! She was energetic and so so kind. She was also super supportive if you felt nerves at any point. She really makes the experience much more because of how genuine she is! Thank you so much again for creating a memorable experience and being such a fun tour guide! Kailey is for sure a gem and a massive asset to this experience.
So much fun! My daughter (9) went on the Zipline and it was the highlight of her trip! The instructors were kind and helpful. A couple of participants were ........ hesitant. The staff took some time, made them feel comfortable, and eventually the whole group got to go. Great experience and super reasonably priced.
This was an awesome experience. Our guides were so helpful and informative. This was such a memorable experience with my grandson and son in law, 3 generations. Would recommend this to anyone!
We had a great time on the zip line! The guides were amazing! Thank you!
Omg, this ZIPLINE was amazing!!! Our three guides were David, Ben, and Kristen. David's humor hit the spot. I will never regret this.
We had a good time, but photos were not so great some too dark to see and had trouble with downloading Zip line instructor was spot on very helpful and pleasant. Would recommend to others.
I was so scared through the whole thing but my guide name: David, led me through it all and he helped me when I was so scared, I was crying but he helped me and he was very patient. All the staff are so kind and helpful and I had so much fun. Definitely gonna do it again.
My daughter had the best time doing this! The staff was very friendly.

Actually worth the stop for the breakfast alone. 1900 built farm house with all the squeak s and creaks. The house is filled with beautiful art pieces created by the owners. The conversation is always lively! They're a working horse farm with beautiful animals and friendly felines. A serene setting with the true scents of a farm! Great place!
Anniversary amazing experience. Horse riding was an AWESOME, intimate experience where we learned a lot about riding and horses. HIGHLY recommend if you’re looking for an authentic and intimate riding experience on beautiful land and woods. Breakfast was also delicious. I could not recommend our experience more. We will definitely be back. Host and guide was extremely hospitable, knowledgeable, and kind. Thank you so much First Farm Inn!
My experience at First Farm Inn was absolutely amazing . The house was absolutely beautiful, charming, and full of beautiful artwork and precious antiques. Everything was clean and tidy. Our room had a beautiful view of the farm and was super clean with everything we could possibly need. This place was so peaceful, and the animals were so sweet and such a joy. The breakfast was outstanding every morning. The horse riding lessons is one of the best experiences I have had. Jen is so patient and very knowledgeable . I enjoyed everything about my stay at First Farm Inn. If you enjoy peace , quiet, and animals this is the place for you. I will definitely be returning very soon to visit the kitties , the beautiful Pickle, Chloe, Ben ,Bunny, Hank, Buster , and Domino. They will forever be in my heart and I will miss them dearly until my next visit here . Thank you Jen and Dana for the amazing hospitality and for letting us stay at your beautiful home.
My daughter and I had a wonderful time at The First Farm Inn ! Our room was perfect , sleeping with the windows opened listening to the sounds of the night was awesome . Breakfast was delicious . The absolute best horseback riding experience we have ever had , Jenn and Carolyn were so knowledgeable. Jenn gave us some great tips on working with our own horses at home . We can’t wait to go back ❤️
We went to First Farm Inn for a day of horseback riding. It was a GREAT experience. Jen was a great instructor. She took time to get to know us and built in time for us to connect with our horse before hopping on. We will definitely be back!
I had a wonderful, relaxing and adventurous time at the First Farm Inn. The host Jen was a delight! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back in the near future. If you enjoy the company of animals this is the place for you! I went on two horseback rides and Jen was willing to accommodate even more if I wanted. The setting for riding is varied for the novice as well as experienced rider. I am a beginner (at 60) and both Jen and Carolyn were consistently helpful while allowing me space to get a feel for things on my own too. ALL of the 7 horses and one mule were sweet natured, calm and interested in interacting with people. It's clear to see they are well cared for and loved. There are also a plethora of goats, cats and dogs. The accommodations are inviting, comfortable and clean. They seem to have thought of every amenity that might be needed but are open to suggestions if you have any. Jen offers a unique and diverse menu to choose from. I had biscuits and gravy (Carolyn recommended) which were served with eggs, pastries and fresh fruit plate plus beverages. Everything was homemade and delicious. I highly recommend staying here. It was close to The Creation Museum and a short trip to the Ark Encounter if you are looking for other things to do in the area.
My husband and I booked the two hour trail ride with Jen for a birthday celebration and it was beyond expectations. Jen is incredibly knowledgeable and made us as beginner riders feel confident and comfortable with our horses. I highly recommend this place if you want to truly learn about horses and how to respect them so you and your horse are in sync during the ride. We learned the basic commands and proper posture before exploring the farm and various trails. We got to give the horses a carrot treat at the end and cool them down with a bath. 10/10 experience here and would return in a heartbeat. Jen and the others have such big hearts and clearly take such good care of their horses, goats, cats and dogs on the property. 💕
First Farm Inn was my dream vacation! I loved the people, they were super nice, all the animals, and overall experience. My favorite part as an experienced rider was cantering up the hills and i loved that i got the freedom to groom and saddle my own horse. The riding trails were amazing, it was fun to go into a valley then into the woods and travel through different terrains. I would definitely recommend this place if you are an animal lover like me and are looking for a place to ride with people who care about you.

While in town for a visit, I brought my partner here. It's not everyday a service member gets to explore an old ship on veterans day. We had a lot of fun and so much so the sunlight got away from us. Would definitely recommend exploring this place and be mindful of the surrounding area. It's quiet and I'm sure the residents there would appreciate it. I do wish people would have more respect and not spray paint this historical spot. The "Ghost ship" of Kentucky is MUST SEE! 💙
This place is even cooler if you have a giant flashlight to shine at night. Always super muddy here. The mosquitos are brutal. No way to walk across. You'll have to kayak. Very short distance. I wouldn't step on the rusty ship though unless you're up to date on your tetanus shots!!
This was a really neat shipwreck to explore It was difficult to get on board, but I repositioned the ladders to make it easier. There’s a lot of itch weed and other things that will bother your skin so wear long pants and long sleeve shirts if possible. It’s on a very remote road with very limited parking.
Went here recently while staying in Kentucky! There’s a foot trail that leads out to the ship but be careful because it can be steep. If you decide to venture onto the vessel there also are some slippery spots and holes in the structure, so watch your step. Very interesting piece of history!
Worth checking out. I’ve included a video for one way to access it. Can be muddy depending on recent weather.
Pretty cool thing to see and dig up the history on the ship. It's on private property so be quiet and respectful.
It was on our bucket list, and I'm a Madonna fan. Fun family excursion. Be respectful for someone's property.
Cool ghost ship ruins. Small pull off and trail. Very muddy after a rain (to be expected).
