We had a great paddle yesterday with Sebago Trails! Kate was so professional in all my dealings with her. So pleasant on the phone. Very customer service oriented. The kayaks were in very good condition. Kate showed us how to take off from the ramp which was pretty cool! Her explanation about where to paddle for best views of wildlife were spot on. We highly recommend Sebago Trails!
Staff was very friendly and helpful. The docking system made it easy to get in and out of the kayak. Saw lots of wildlife, including a bald eagle!
This was my first time Kayaking and Bill was an incredible teacher. I was a little nervous since I never been in a kayaker but Bill made so easy to feel comfortable and give me easy to follow instructions. The experience is serene since nature is all around. Bill will talk to you about history as he brings around the tress in the water, you don’t even notice that you are kayaking and going along easily. Thank you, Bill and the staff for a great experience. PS: Don’t forget to a buy the very soft t-shirt they have, it will remind you of the great time you just had.
We had a wonderful time paddle boarding through Sebago Trails Paddling Company. The staff were extremely helpful and well informed. They have a variety of activities you can choose to do and provided us with a memorable experience on our trip to Sebago Lake. Highly recommend.
we had so much fun renting kayaks on last minute today from Sebago Trails Paddling Company. we only went up the river because of an appointment we had. but we were able to bring our dogs. the staff were extremely helpful, setting up the kayaks for easy entry (I don't know what the contraption is that they use to help with loading, but it was great!) paddles, life vests, and a handy map! we will be back!
Wonderful kayaking with my teen grandsons from Massachusetts! The owners are lovely & helpful, equipment is great, easy launch and return set up and river & lake paddling. Highly recommend!
STP was customer friendly and accommodating. I requested early drop off on a Saturday so we could enjoy a kayak trip upon are arrival and they were on time Very nice kayaks
Had a great time kayaking with Sebago Trails Paddling Company! It was easy to schedule (and reschedule), get our equipment, get in the water, and more. They were so nice and the map made it easy for us to find our way around.

This public beach on Sebago Lake is a hidden gem and perfect for a summer day. One of the best new features is the snack shack, offering a great selection of burgers, hot dogs, fries, snacks, cold treats, and refreshing drinks—just what you need after a swim or while soaking up the sun. The facilities are well-maintained, with clean bathrooms, a shower to rinse off the sand, and even a pump to inflate your water toys. Keep in mind, though, parking is limited—there are a little more than 100 parking spots available. We arrived roughly 30 minutes after the beach opened and just made it in. After that, only a few more cars were allowed before the lot filled up, and when we left a few hours later, there was already a line of cars waiting to get in. So arriving early is definitely worth it. The lake itself is beautifully clean, and the sand is soft and inviting, making it easy to walk right into the water. There are also plenty of trees along the shoreline, offering natural shade for those who want a break from the sun. It’s a great mix of convenience, beauty, and relaxation.
My girlfriend and I went here to walk our dogs and was going great until some random lady with two dogs told us there isn't any dogs allowed. Which was weird because of the dogs she had with her off leash... Both of ours are friendly and on leashes. We then found out they closed the gate on us an hour early from closing time. Do not recommend this place
Absolutely beautiful park! The beach, pathways bathrooms and parking lot are all perfectly clean. I recommend going early to get in as it gets busy fast! Am planning on going again soon! Especially to see the ducks! ❤️🦆
Nice beach l have been going here since I was kid lots has changed for the better! Bathrooms are nice and clean and large! There is a pump to fill any floats or toys that need air! My favorite beach spot in the area!
Giving 2 stars because they need to change the way they do the season passes. They should limit the amount of season passes and then reserve that number in parking spots. I paid over $100 for a season pass and now I’m waiting in line for 2 hours to get a parking spot. Other than that it’s a great place.
It’s a nice beach but as others have said duck itch is an issue and always has been. The staff was fairly rude… when we went in they told us at the gate that they may need to close early due to the storms but that we’d get a pass to come back another day if that was the case. They did end up closing shortly after so we stopped at the gate and asked about it and the lady rolled her eyes at us and said no that when we came in we were taking a risk… I told her that this is what the staff told us when we came in, not something we just came up with on our own to get free stuff… she asked us to identify the staff and rolled her eyes again and said she’d “talk to her”. As a business owner you should stand by what you tell your customers. I would not recommend coming here on a day when storms are possible, but at the same time on sunny days you will be hard pressed to find a spot. Oh well.
Very clean staff is very friendly. Best Park I have been in years.
Wonderful beach. Can't wait to see the new snack shack this summer.
