Adorable historic place with many specialty stores for families to go to. A beautiful place. They have paddle boats which was fun and we also ate at the Smithville Inn. Loved their stuffed pork chop also with excellent service.
I visited Village Greene and had such a great time exploring the variety of little shops! From chocolate and clothing to candles, soaps, cheese, oils, and even antiques, there’s a little something for everyone. The Christmas lights show was charming and added a festive touch to the experience. It’s a small place, but very unique and full of character. My favorite part was the Christmas talking tree—it was such a fun and magical highlight! Definitely worth a visit during the holiday season.
what a neat little gem of a find. we were in the Atlantic city area for a concert that evening and aren't big beach people, so we searched the local area for something different to do and stumbled on this place. it is obviously a tourist destination, but it is worth seeing and we enjoyed ourselves. we didn't go into all of the shops, only a few. they have a nice selection of shops, the peanut butter place for the cookies, Underground and Esoteric were our favorites. my kids got a laugh out of the free range chickens roaming around. I'm amazed at the age of the buildings and love the historical aspect to this town. so nice to see it left intact and thriving.
Was such a beautiful place😉 Fun spots to explore & shop. Costello's pizza was good 🤘
Visited here back in June when we were camping near the Jersey Shore. It was going to be a blah day. Misty, cloudy, not very good beach weather so we took the 40-45 minute trip from our camp site. What a cool place. There were about 50 shoppes (wide variety) and 5 or 6 places to eat. Most connected by cobblestone pathways and lined with historic buildings. We shopped till we dropped. We then sat down and grabbed a bite to eat at Lantern Light Tavern. Nice atmosphere, food was gastro pub style, very good sandwiches. There were also places to grab a quick bite on the run. There’s a carousel, train ride and paddle boats for the kids. All in all we had a very nice time. Basically spent the whole day here.
I love wandering the village but this review is for the man behind the village. I’ve had the pleasure to work with Mr Fitz on numerous occasions (at my place of employment). He is kind and genuine. It’s no surprise why the village is such a great place to visit.
Shopping like it's 50 years ago. Single charming stores selling everything from Traditional Irish goods to ice cream. Different eateries to match anyone's cravings. Pleasant way to spend the day with friends and family.
Quaint little village, a must see especially during the holiday season. This was my first visit here and I was impressed. There is a little something for everyone here. Candy stores, yummy bakeries, gifts for pets, places to eat, some really unique shops that were pretty crowded and hard to shop in. Some had to be skipped over but I'll get them next time! There is a talking Christmas tree in the center square after you cross over the bridge and an open air train ride for kids and adults. And of course, you cannot miss the musical trees on the water light show which starts at 5:30! There is plenty of free parking for this village. In the village itself, to the left of it there is a large lot, and also directly across the street.

What a great winery! The wine is some of the best I ever had. The blackberry cream is to die for. Hard to believe it has 15% alcohol! Phil, our tasting host, was very hospitable. Located in such a cute village.
Great spot at Smithville. The associates were so helpful and knowledgeable. Great wine selection.
Cute tasting room in Smithville. We found our new favorite red wine ‘Renier Red’. I’m not a big fun of red wine but this one is very fruity and sweet. Staff was very friendly and helpful too. Highly recommend!
Phil was a true gem. Very knowledgeable on wines of all kinds! All of his reccommendations were spot on. I will be back to try the wines i missed on this tasting. Highly reccomnend!! 10/10
Love coming here and doing a tasting. Friendly knowledgeable staff and the quaint surroundings truly make for an enjoyable experience! Can't wait to go back again!
On our recent visit to Old Smithville, we stopped in here to check this store out. We purchased the pineapple Moscato as it was the newest flavor they had in stock and it was delicious! No one had really tried it there yet so we are giving in our two cents as to recommend it to everyone! We will get tickets for the wine tasting next time as this visit was late in the day and didn't have time to check it out.
