Did the extended half day tour with lunch on the river. What a great experience from start to finish. Our guides Ty and Jimmy were fun and very knowledgeable filling in any quiet spots with humour and information about the area. The rafting was a perfect blend of class II and III rapids that made for an exciting day for my family without being too extreme as they were first time rafters. Lunch on the river was my favourite part of the day just being able to prepare a sandwich and sit back and enjoy the scenery. Overall this was a 10/10 experience for my whole family will definitely be back to do it again one day and might even check out the other spots River Runners operates, don’t overthink it just book the day and let your guides do their thing!
The river and views were beautiful, of course.. it’s the Kootenays. The staff were polite and made the experience fun. However, they were not trained, they did not know the area or any information about the mountains, the river, history of the landscapes, etc. and although they did pretty good at being guides, many of them had no raft guide experience. There were no wet suits provided, which was a first for me. We were rafting in glacier waters and were told that we wouldn’t be cold. We froze, everyone on the rafts were complaining about being freezing cold. Wouldn’t recommend going unless it is 30+ temps or you will be so cold that it’s not enjoyable, specially a full 8 hour day! Communication between customers and the company was poor to none… Photos are provided for free because majority of them are terrible quality, however, we did get a couple of good ones, and I guess any photo is better than none! We did our best to have a good time and enjoy the trip since we paid for it and the guides were good people. We will raft again, but definitely not at this location and possibly not with this company again! Hard to write a mixed review, explains the 3 stars. If it wasn’t for the guides doing their best to make it a positive experience and the location, then it would have been less stars. Edit: Increasing the star rating due to thorough and kind response from the company.
White water rafting was an absolute blast! The scenery was stunning, the laughs were nonstop, and the splashes kept us cool!! Such a good day full of adventure and memories. 🛶🌊 the guide we had she was amazing! Funny and all around made it such an incredible experience and highly recommend!😊
My wife and I went on the full day Kooteney River Whitewater rafting tour on 31 August 2025. This trip was worth every dollar spent. The company is a fantastic raft tour company and Tyler. Our trip leader was energetic, friendly, knowledgeable, and entertaining. We have no complaints with this trip and would absolutely do it again and recommend it to all our friends. You should absolutely do the full day trip as there is a stunning waterfall down the river after the half day takeout. You don’t want to miss that.
We had an amazing time rafting on Toby Creek with Kootenay River Runners. The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. The staff were great - super friendly, funny, and made everyone feel comfortable. Highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for a memorable adventure!
Highly recommended family activity - excitement and fun for almost all ages. We chose the 1/2 day extended option on the Kootenay River. It is the 2nd half of the day with substantially more hours than the morning 1/2 day option, a visit to a beautiful falls, and a great lunch including some very nice cookies. This was our first white water experience, and likely will not be our last.
I chose to do the full day Kootney river adventure as well as the Golden Kicking Horse extreme rafting. On both trips the guides were fantastic. A shout out to Ryan, Bill, and Curtis (Kicking Horse) OUTSTANDING JOB!!!! Also a shout out to Emma (Kootney River) Terrible joke telling but tons of fun facts were shared. GREAT JOB!!!!! I would recommend this for couples families and singles. Super fun and makes for good memories.
Looking for an unforgettable adventure? Ty and Kootenay River Runners deliver the ultimate white-water thrill! From heart-pounding rapids to stunning mountain views, every moment is pure excitement. Ty’s energy and expertise made us all feel safe and turned the ride into an epic experience you won’t stop talking about. If you're craving fun, adrenaline, and a splash of wild beauty — this is the ride of your life. Don’t miss it! 🥰

Great place for getting information about the parks or activities around. Also many taxidermied animals which were fun to see, such as cougar, mountain goat, black and grizzly bears.
Very nice and helpful staff, tons of printed information as well. Don't forget to get a selfie with one of the stuffed animals there. There was also a nice mini mountain raised relief map of Kootenay and Banff National Parks.

Clean and friendly. Lots of parking. The facility displays about the history of the Hotsprings is really sad and outdated though. Needs a face lift and to include more about the history of the local indigenous people. Come on Feds, its a great Reconciliaction opportunity!
We stopped in to get recommendations for daily outings. The lady who helped us was a wealth of knowledge and gave us many great options. A must stop if you need ideas of what to do outside of what you came to do!
Was a great experience. Organized entrance, lockers for your stuff, change rooms are clean and it’s relaxing in the hot spring pool.
The Radium Hot Springs Visitor Centre is absolutely amazing with so much to see and learn with staff knowledgeable and eager to assist visitors; The honouring of the Ktunaxa people of this land is presented comprehensively and one can spend a whole day taking in all the exhibits. Every Friday the centre is open late with free music and local vendors selling their wares; The famous iconic wood carver Ron Heer known to one and all for his eccentric pink attire and who sadly passed last year is being honoured with funds being raised for a special park in his name. The bighorn sheep were not to be seen but deer were spotted. The excellence of the visitor centre is inspirational for one and all visiting Radium.
In addition to a very helpful rest stop on this long stretch of road, The Radium Springs visitor Center provides an excellent quick review of local flora/fauna and First Nations culture in the region. Highly recommend!

Lots of fun was had at this place. My wife, daughter (13) and myself enjoyed our guides, Ryan and Leon. Leon said I had the best upside down zip ride he’s ever seen. Ever! 7 zip lines in total, with 5 being about the same length. Just long enough to get some thrills. The short one has a fun game, the other option would be to walk, and that’s no fun. The last one is a long 700’ zip line with great views. Again, Leon said he’s never seen a zip liner like me and I believe him.
Had a great time today! Adam and Matt were awesome with giving instruction and making the experience fun even though I'm terrified of heights. I would suggest this place to friends and family. If you're able to request guides choose Adam and Matt. Give these guys a raise! Thanks again!
I had a fantastic time working with Valley Zipline Adventures in Radium Hot Springs, capturing both photos and a 360° virtual tour of their impressive Aerial Park. The team was enthusiastic and easy to collaborate with, making the entire project enjoyable from start to finish. Valley Zipline Adventures offers a truly unique outdoor experience, and it was rewarding to help showcase their park through creative photography and immersive digital content. If you’re looking for an exciting adventure or want to see what their Aerial Park is all about, I highly recommend checking them out
We spent the morning at Valley Ziplining and Maguire, Kennedy and Matt were fabulous guides on the Zipline. And then Danica and Jocelyne and the rest of the crew on the high ropes course were very good and helpful. We had a fantastic time. Thanks.
Taylor and Theo were amazing zipline instructors. They were so patient and kind. Danica and Chris were awesome on the aerial park. My grandson and I had a blast! Great staff! Worth the cost!
This was my sons 3rd time zip lining and my first. Our guides Kris and Adam were awesome. Adding in challenges for each line such as launching backwards, going upside down or starfish added to the experience. Would definitely recommend and comeback again.
The zip line experience was absolutely amazing! It was so much fun, and the instructors were super friendly and made the whole atmosphere enjoyable. I’d love to come back with my family the next time we visit Radium!
It was a so much fun outdoor activity. Weather was not very good though, we really enjoy speeding along the safe cable. Staff are super kind and helpful to set all the safety gear. Don't hesitate when you hear "clamp", just let your body go. Also I recommend you don't hold the hanging line with your hand, your harness will take you to the heaven. I'm sure to visit this place again with my friends.

This place is incredible. In British Columbia? Plan to detour here! Well worth the drive to this off the beat track gallery. Incredible art, interesting man, friendly goats- what more could you ask for? Lots of fun, spend the day taking it all in!
This place caught our eyes while walking around Radium town. From the outside, you will really get curious to what's inside. Luckily, it was Saturday the following day so we were able to visit. Rolf (owner's name) opens it to the public for a tour of his house during Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. I didn't like the smell that welcomed me when I walked in. It was a very smokey smell. He had a burner that also looks like a fire place. He was dressed like a wizard. It was odd and very cool at the same time. My artist husband liked the place. You could see a lot of cool wood carvings and vintage things. The structure of the house was also cool. The giant wood carvings were fun to look at. It was a great visit. It's recommended for sure when you are ever in Radium.
Really cool artworks and very interesting man. A bit of maintenance to be done but overall a great visit. Very affordable art for sale too. I will definitely return and buy more pieces. Family friendly and great experience for the kids. Thanks Rolf!
We have been every year for the past five years. My kids love to feed to roof top goats, they look forward to it! They also have a blast with the trick doors in the back. We've purchased two of his pieces, and love them. I call one "the north wind". It's not a place for everyone, but if you like to make quirky stops, then this is the place for you. Remember, this is his home as well, not just a store front, which to me is what makes it even more intriguing. While your in town make a trip of it by stopping at the hot springs. They have the best view of them all.
Literally a house of a thousand wooden face carvings. Very cool! We got to take one home, very reasonably priced. The wizard who lives there is so cool and nice, chat with him. Very cheap to get in. He built the entire place himself! You can also feed his goats some saltine crackers
Took my family to the house of a thousand faces. We really enjoyed looking at all the carving and turning all the door handles. If your in radium check this place out.
Great random spot I found while traveling to a running race with a buddy of mine. Never even heard of it before seeing it while heading out to Kimberly B.C. for the blackspur ultra. Next time if it's open I would like to do a tour of the inside. But just the outside had so much to see and just simple details. Like some fake doors but one of them says watering hole!! It sprays water at you when you turn the handle lol. But the site with all the carvings and some not noticed until your upon them some old pictures real ones in a display case that's outside on a wall unmarked show the artist as a young man traveling with his kit and a bicycle. The best part of traveling is finding the random things like this on the way that aren't talked about in everyday talk or is a huge attraction. It's odd and beautiful Like the races I run, ultras are beautiful and scenic, see things not seen in everyday life but offer other insights into life or the creation and artistic nature of it.
Very cool place to visit. Kids loved the water spray that was hidden in the yard. The wizard is very friendly.

Great course and really enjoyed playing for the first time today. Dennis was a great guy to speak to on the first tee, very informative and knowledgeable. He gave us some good pointers and his presence chilled our first tee nerves - he’s a credit to the club. We’ll definitely be coming back! Rob and Ryan from Golden GC
We spent an amazing week at the Bighorn resort. Our unit was impressive. With amazing views of the beautiful Springs golf course. The course is always in great shape and the staff is very accommodating.
Beautiful course, dog legs, different elevations, water, sand, well manicured greens, it has it all. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. We'll definitely be back.
Skip it on your next golf trip. TLDR: Grass is in great shape. Cool unique layout made it fun. Rest of the amenities are lacking. Especially at $144/round. Positives. Cart guy drove out to our car and met us to take our bags, which I've never had. Good for him. Teeboxes, fairways, greens were presitine and receptive. Negatives. The pro shop guy in the New York Yankees hat was either hungover or just generally miserable. The restaurant wasn't ready for us (waited at the bar without acknowledgement for 3 minutes while the employees talked to eachother). Driving range ball dispenser wasn't working so just warmed up on the chipping green. We went back into the proshop and told Yankees hat about the balls. He didn't say anything. Restaurant was finally ready just before our tee time. Breakfast sandwich bun was hard. The bunkers weren't raked from the day before. The cart was broken (they're old), had to feather the accelerator to get it to accelerate to full speed or it would just stutter and not go anywhere like it was out of batteries. One or two of these things I don't care, I let slide as a one off, I'm not writing a review, but for all of it to be off for something I just paid $144 dollars for sucks. Course was great, but things seem to be running smoother at Eagle Ranch for $130, i.e. new carts with gps, pyramids of range balls ready to go at 7:00am. And for you to get an experience at greywolf for just an extra $55 bucks... Just play there again if you're trying to get 4 rounds in. Hit up Eagle, Copperpoint, and greywolf instead. Skip Radium.
Love playing this course. The staff are all excellent and you can’t beat the conditions
The course is in beautiful shape, as are all of the others in the Columbia valley this year. It’s one of the best in the West Kootenays and deserves to be rated at least as high as Eagle Ranch (#44) & Copper Point (#57) in score Golf/ Golf Town’s ratings. We didn’t appreciate the course martial hanging around our foursome for holes 3 to 9. The starter asked us to start early, as the group in the tee time ahead of us was late, so we had at least an entire hole open behind the group ahead when we started. We caught up to them by the 11th hole and played the round in 4hr 20minutes, so I don’t think we were too slow. The marshal at the Springs needs to take lessons in diplomacy from the marshals at the Radium Resort and Copper Point, which we also played last weekend. They said our group was keeping up just fine. Im sure we’ll be back again same weekend next year, as we love the Columbia Valley car show and the 1200+ cars on the driving range at the Springs
Unbelievable that you guys have the golf course open during car show one day a year. Can't shit it down for a day an lose any money hey while trying to enjoy a car show had a ball fly off a car parked on the outskirts and hit my wife In the throat. Definitely wouldn't use your course now knowing how inconsiderate your are for peoples safety and then there's the safety of those cars too not impressed.
Course was in really good shape. But we had 2 tee times starting at 5 pm. Every hole past hole 3, we had to wait 10 minutes. Took us 4 hours to play 14 holes. At that point we just gave up and just drive to the 17th hole just to see the iconic hole, as we are a group from edmonton. We found 8 carts piled in at hole 17 just waiting to play it. Its a great Course, but if it was impossible to complete the course in 5 - 6 hours, then is it worth to play? Wish the tee times are separated by 15 minutes.

I love the laid back atmosphere of this course. We stay down at the campground and they let us continue our round after the course closes as long as we park our cart. They are so easy to deal with and the food is pretty darn good too. We have been going here off and on for the past 8 years and I look forward to it every summer. It is always in great shape and we have never had an issue with our pace of play. 100% recommend
The course was beautiful but we were constantly followed and harrassed by an older gentleman who was smoking marijuana. This made my girlfriend and I uncomfortable, ultimately ruining the experience.
Great lil 9 hole course. We played twice to get a full 18 in. Some greens tricky for sure but we overall enjoyed playing here, staff were pleasant to deal with very friendly. We will be back again!
A quick round of 9 holes was great. The course was in fantastic condition, with beautiful views. The clubhouse staff were friendly and answered any questions we had. We didn't feel pressure to rush our game.
The golf course is always in great shape but it’s sure nice to have amazing food back at the Cantina! $12 tacos and $29 golf cannot be beat in the Valley!!!
Out of the way course that punches well above its price point. Greens and course was well maintained. Challenging but not over the top. Great for a quick 9 when you have a free morning.
Great little 9 hole course. Course is well maintained and it's good for learning which clubs to use. Some very short holes though. Makes the whole experience a little frustrating when you have two groups waiting because the previous holes were shorter. Regardless, still a great little course.
Very well kept. Beautiful course. Definitely a challenging 9 holes……. Or am I just bad, lol. It’s the latter

Absolutely stunning.I don't ever think i've seen a lake so clear and so green at the same time. I wish I could have gotten images of the bubbles coming up from under the stream too, cause those are so cool to watch.
What a quiet little spot just next to the road! Short trail around the lake gives you beautiful alternate angles to admire the surroundings. Quaint mountain streams flow into the lake with their moss laden grounds and quiet verdant setting resembling that of a Japanese garden.
It’s easy to carry on driving past this lake, but it’s a great place to stop and have a picnic. The lake is within easy reach of the highway down a well maintained trail and boardwalk. There are picnic tables and toilets
Beautiful lake, short hike from off Highway. Worth a stop.
Beautiful little stop alongside the road! Board walk with two 100m & 50m easy walks! Definitely recommend as a bathroom stop along the way!
Beautiful road side stop with a few picnic tables and bathrooms. Nice short walk boardwalk around the side of the lake.
beautiful spot ,with rest restrooms, first spotted while driving then turned back for this beautiful olive lake.
Quaint little lake with close proximity from the road .Nice place to stretch the legs and view the tourquis lake .

We rented bikes and a canoe from Far Out and had an absolute blast riding the Old Coach trail and floating the Colombia! The owner is very kind and went out of his way to ensure we had a great experience on both occasions. He knows the area extremely well which is helpful for planning out your adventures. Overall a fantastic service run by a wonderful guy at the best price you'll find in the area.
We hired Far Out Rentals for our wedding tents, tables, dance floor and some linens and couldn't have had a better experience. From the pricing, to the last minute changes we made, to their set up / cleanup and quality of items. They allowed us not to worry about some of the main details and enjoy our wedding day that much more. Thank you!
We accidentally found this place, without any recommendation. We popped in on Wednesday to see if they would have any availability on Thursday morning self guided canoe trip from Invermere to Radium. He accommodated us, however we did not received any map or much info about the river, just logistics basically paying, signing for waiver and time when we all would leave from the shop next day. Our driver James was very welcoming and friendly, when we arrived to Columbia river we received a must to have briefing about safety and quick explanations about our 16km river trip..AND THAT WAS OUR LIFESAVER! We were not so worried as we own canoe and have some experience, also we are middle aged couple in good shape..and all what we heard how easy the river trip is.. However after many hot days that particular day stormy clouds collected, we were told we we will get the wind but we don't have to worry as will be in our back.. Our trip first half was as advertised very calm and beautiful with bald eagle sights and beauty of nature. However stom came above us, we received heavy rain, our Canoe was very hard to steer straight as wind direction was against us. We had whitecaps river was not so calm anymore and I felt extremely lucky my husband knew how to canoe otherwise we would bail from this trip!!! I have to recommend cancel your trip if sky somewhat shows rain would arrive. We had to paddle last 2 hours straight so our canoue would not capsize..I understand this is not usual occurrence when it's sunny and calm but it was definitely not for fainted heart! We definitely never going to forget this trip😊1 star off as I felt we should it get map or more info regarding of the river..4 stars to James whom verbally explained tons of stuff( lucky us) and he was very accommodating.
Friendly, excellent service, good advice for local trails, good price. Our group of 2 old geezers plus one younger gentleman with slight mobility issues had a blast using and renting ebikes from Far Out.
Great bikes to rent but the staff needs to know what the customers riding capabilities are before just sending u out on the old coach trail as the only option. The old coach trail is all loose gravel and dirt and a little rough of a course for beginner riders that have never been on a real trail. My lady took a spill as she gripped the front brake when she hit a loose patch and wiped out with some road rash. She's OK, we turned back and went around town for her to get used to the bike and then we went up to the redstreak campground which has miles of paved trails and is way better for beginners. All In all the experience was really cool if you have never been on or wanting to purchase an ebike.
Rented a bike and it wasn't great. Front derailleur didn't shift at all, so you had to manually pick a ring and put the chain on it. The chain wasn't oiled at all, so at least you didn't get dirty doing that. The brakes were squishy and hard to trust. I had to stop and fill up the back tire a little ways into the ride - luckily I had a pump. And there was no water bottle holder - a problem on a very hot day. I wasn't expecting a Tour level bike, obviously, but for $60 for a few hours one that they gave a damn about would have been nice. Go in with your eyes wide open if renting a bike.
Far Out Gear Rentals set our group up for a last minute kayak trip down the Columbia River. Their drop-off and pick-up service was absolutely hassle-free leaving us to enjoy the day and not worry about logistics. Friendly service all the way from start to finish, very knowledgeable about the area which gave us 100% confidence on our unguided adventure. Thanks Far Out!
A pleasant experience paddling the Columbia River! Rented a canoe for my family of 4. They dropped us off at the Invermere boat launch. After some tips from their leader before push off, we navigated a great afternoon on the river back to Radium.

From start to finish everything about this experience was amazing. The therapists are outstanding and when speaking with them it is clear they all have lots of experience and offer something for everyone. Best massage my husband and I have ever received. The Spa is located on the lower floor of the facility and is a true little oasis. It is relaxing, and has a lovely atmosphere. The treatments rooms are beautiful. The hot pools are an added bonus. This is a must if you are in Radium.
What a pleasant surprise at the Radiant Hot Springs location. You enter the public entrance and go downstairs to the locker rooms. I saw the spa at the end of that long hallway and decided to give it a try. The front desk spa staff was excellent and directed me to the massage services and therapist that would best suit me and my wants/needs. Ended up with an OUTSTANDING 90 min deep tissue session...one of the best massages I have ever had (registered or not) in the 100's of massages I've had all over the world. Excellent therapist and front desk staff. Yes, small sauna/whirlpool area but that's not what you should go for (the "other" pools are available for use too...very large pools in the main hot springs area.) Go for and get a massage after a long day hiking, driving the park...what a treat!
This spa was AWESOME!! I booked a 90 min therapeutic massage w/ Diane, who was recommended by my RMT from home. The entire treatment included taking time for myself in the hot tub (mineral fed water) and steam room before & after my massage!!! Diane's 20 yrs of experience showed and was "one of the best massages" I have ever had! I will DEFINITELY be back!
I booked 3 services two for my teenage kids which apparently the owner Lori took exception to. There were no other clients in the entire spa but she still would not let my nephew into the change room with my son she made them go to the public hot spring change room. She assumed that the kids would misbehave and treated all of us poorly. The only saving grace was Diane gave me a wonderful massage. New management might save this place.
Can definitley recommend on all counts! The massages were excellent, with Diane in particular giving my partner a "life changingly good" 90min massage. Excellent addition to the hot springs, with a private hot tub and steam room helping to escape crowds. Peppermint tea was an unexpected delight...
Really love this spa. Simple, but thoroughly relaxing. A great staff and friendly, down-to-earth and talented masseurs. Their treatment rooms are some of the nicest I've ever been in - right up there with more elaborate spas. Getting a treatment + a soak in the private hot tub or outside in the public pools is a must if you're in Radium/Invermere!
It was our first time getting a massage and we really enjoyed the experience! It was really relaxing. We tried the public pool but much preferred the inner hot tub which was quieter and didn't have floating insects. The sauna was a sauna.
Absolutely love this spa - a day of hiking and some time in the hot springs followed by a massage with one of their very experienced and friendly staff just makes for a great experience every time I'm in Radium. Very clean and well kept facility, wonderful and personable staff, just always beyond my expectations. Good to see the same faces there year after year, and never hesitate to recommend to family and friends.

I have seen bad reviews in the past month but this experience was pretty great. The staff was easy to deal with and course was in decent shape for being late in the season. Got my money's worth even if I wouldn't have gotten a beautiful view of the mountains. But we did. Disregard the bad reviews. Their restaurant looks amazing (wasn't open at the time of visit) and the carts are comfortable and have usb. Good bang for your buck. Will be back in the future!
Summer is in the air. My wife and I decided to go on a little golf adventure so we called up Radium golf course and booked a TEE TIME FOR 3:15pm. On Wednesday the 7th of May. Wow what a beautiful course. We played it a couple years ago but it was good to be back. We rented a cart and for the two of us it was only $115.00 for 18 holes can’t beat that value. The greens were smooth and fast and the fairways were beautifully open. A couple tricky short par 3’s and a couple nice long par 5’s that you can reach the green in 2 if you really pound it. We shared the course with a some deer and odd ground squirrel. We were hoping to see a bear however maybe we were lucky not too. The pro shop had some great sales on and super friendly staff. They are working on the 18th green but says it should be ready in a month or so. Great fun course and with some challenging holes but easy enough for most people I’d say. To top it off we ran into Darryl Sutter as his group was just ahead of us and unknowingly parked beside each other in the parking lot. What an amazing guy and super friendly. We chatted briefly and he said they were just passing through golfing in the area and had a great round, they really enjoyed it as well. If you want a nice round of golf make sure to stop and play around at radium. You never know who you’ll run into :). Thanks again. We will be back.
Nice renovation of the restaurant. We had drinks in the lounge, really nice server. They opened at 2 pm, missing out on two key times with golfers. Golfers like breakfast buffets and coffee, and they definitely like lunch and drinks on the deck. So we were the only table until finally a group of 3 came in for lunch. There were snacks, drinks and sandwiches available outside in the concession. Our server out there was super nice. Lots of golfers pit stopping for food and drinks. Would I go back and have the Prime Rib special? Definitely!
We played her one evening the end of July, such a beautiful course! The bugs weren't too bad but recommend bringing bug spray. We had such a great evening and thoroughly enjoyed the course - can't wait to return one day soon! The price for 18 holes and cart was very reasonable compared to others. The views are well worth it. Highly recommend, well maintained course and friendly staff!
Course was in amazing shape, fast greens and beautiful views. Dave in the pro shop was a great guy, he was super kind and funny. We decided to grab food at the restaurant after our round, we walked into the dining area and trying to get the servers attention was like talking to a wall, it wasn’t busy and she saw us waiting but never came over to seat us, we waited 10 minutes then gave up and went elsewhere. We came to golf which definitely 5*, just a shame about the restaurant.
We played the course on May 30th 2025. It was our first time playing here. We were pleasantly surprised with the conditions of the course. I had read some reviews expressing concerns about the quality of the greens from last season but they have done a great job getting the greens in shape. 17 of the greens are open with only the 18th green as a temp green. The 18th has been resodded and I understand will be open for play within a month. The layout has some great elevation holes with beautiful views. The staff was very friendly and we ate lunch in the restaurant after our round. We all thought the lunch was very good. We would definitely play this course again and at less than half the price of many of the other courses it is a great value.
The golf course was beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our round took 5 hours! At times there were 4 groups on a hole. The Marshall said he told the slow groups to play best ball but I'm not so sure they listened! He said there was a group of 12 in front of us. Next time I book, I will ask if there were any large groups and avoid, avoid, avoid!
Family golf tournament and was an amazing course. Beautiful scenery.

Great campsite. It is quiet and green. Some sites are not leveled which is fine. I was surprised about the amount of people camping mid August. It was not expensive $25/night. Bring your mosquite-bug spray.
We were there during the very quiet season in mid September. Nice washrooms, quiet and well-treed campground. We didn't have much time as it was the start of a 17500 km trip in our electric car, so just one night, but I don't think there were any hiking trails of any length associated with the park.
Good campsite with decent privacy between sites. You’re not too far off the highway, so there is some noise from that, but it’s not too bad. The pit toilets and flush toilets are both pretty average, not great but not awful.
Small, quiet and spacious! The park is close to the highway but set back enough that there is little road noise. There are washrooms with water and also pit toilets, all kept to a high BC Parks standard. The Park Facility Operator staff were friendly and diligent, as (as always!). Some of the sites-the best ones-can be reserved and others are available closer to the road. Don't miss the trails to the south offering great views and an unusual gulley where the face seems to have fallen off the main mountain during some past millennium.
Fantastic place to camp just outside of Radium 9 minute drive to hot springs. Great area absolutely beautiful can't beat the price and location is great we will most definitely be back to camp again!! Highly recommend
This park is located just off Hwy 95 just south of Radium Hot Springs in south eastern BC Canada. This park is only good as an overnight stop and maybe as a base camp. No sani-dump, steep hills, dry, no beach, no playground, very little privacy. Some sites are difficult to back into due to trees. Good space between sites. Look for a spot near the toilet house or you might have to choose between pit toilets and a walk up a steep hill. Clean park with lots of shade trees but no services.
Dry Gulch Campground is a gem! The sites are spacious and provide plenty of privacy. The campground is beautiful and well-shaded, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. It offers pit toilets and water stations, with the bonus of a proper toilet (though no showers). The sounds of various birds add to the serene atmosphere. Be prepared for mosquitoes in the morning and evening, but overall, it's a fantastic place to camp. Highly recommend!
This place was very nice. Wish they would clean the primary washroom with the flush toilets more often and hope for showers in the near future. We were camped out by the small creek/brook and the mosquitoes around this area were pretty aggressive. Even with bug spray they'll find you pretty fast! The campground itself is really beautiful and in good distance away from Radium and Invermere.

My husband and I both had a 60 minute massage with the hot stone add on. My massage was with Ekaterina “Kate” and it was probably one of the best massages of my life (and I go for regular massages). I’ve never had a hot stone massage and so my assumption of how it would go was a little off but that’s okay. After Ekaterina was done with the hot stones on my back she asked if I wanted her to work a little deeper with her hands which I definitely did and I was thankful she asked. She got out tons of knots and was very aware of a back injury I am dealing with; she gave me extra pillows for support and gave me good advice on some exercises to focus on and what to avoid, and she also pointed out a few areas of concern on my body for me to be conscious of. I was very grateful for her care and attention and how well she did her job. I did not get the name of who did my husband’s massage, but he was a little disappointed. He was never asked if he wanted her to do some work with her hands and he wasn’t comfortable asking for that even though he should have. He was unaware of what the ‘hot stone’ option really entailed as well. Overall, a great experience, the atmosphere of the reception area and the massage parlour was beautiful, the employees were incredibly friendly and we were so thankful to find a place to fit us in for massages while we were on a quick vacation. We will definitely be back.
I had a classic pedicure here a few days ago and I have to say it has has to be the best pedicure I've ever had! Tara was absolutely awesome: really friendly, thorough and professional. And she didn't do the typical leg and foot massage you get in Airdrie which is just downright uncomfortable - this was very soothing and relaxing. The salon itself is immaculate - spotlessly clean with a nice ambience. I can't recommend this Spa highly enough.
Worth every penny! 🤩🙂🤓 They did an amazing manicure on my toenails, especially for a hiker or beauty queen they have experience in all nails, manicures, pedicures and hair at this spa and salon. Super clean and classy vibe but also won’t scare a guy. All the best here! 🙂☺️
Rachel is super skilled and really passionate about what she does! The facial was a treat for the senses and she helped me understand my skin / what products to use or avoid. She also gave me a mani / pedi both of which were perfect. Heathers full body massage was a delight - never been more relaxed! Thank you :)
I visited Elevation Wellness for a massage and facial. While both services were decent, my experience was completely overshadowed by a disappointing and misleading issue. Before booking, I specifically asked if the massage therapist had an RMT license, as I needed it for insurance purposes. I was assured that they did. However, when I received my invoice, the RMT license number was missing. Upon inquiring, I discovered that the therapist was not registered. This was extremely frustrating and felt dishonest. To make matters worse, the salon is located right next to a swimming pool, and instead of a relaxing spa atmosphere, I was constantly disturbed by loud noise from the pool area. It completely ruined the experience and made it impossible to unwind. Misleading customers is unacceptable, and will never return.
My wife and I had great 90 minute massages here today. I had Kate who did an amazing job!! Highly recommend. She was able to find all my problem areas and loosened them up good!! My wife had Gale for her massage therapist and was well relaxed after her massage as well! We will likely be back the next time we are in the area visiting.
The massage itself was great - Ken was very skilled at finding the right spots and relieving tension. I was really looking forward to treating myself to a 90 minute massage, however, after 53 mins the massage ended. I was told it was an error and to come back another time for 30 minutes. I left pretty disappointed. The ambiance is also quite dingy… not the “spa” experience I was hoping for. Despite this, the massage itself was very nice.
Had a 60min massage here and overall it was good. I had added the facial rejuvenation as well when making my booking online but never received it, and no mention of it while I was there either. Somewhat disappointed. Also, the massage bed I had smelled gross in the area your face lays, not pleasant when you’re trying to relax. Would for sure spend my money elsewhere next time!

This is a one in a lifetime lookout point. With the beautiful view of the canyon, the best time to visit would be during the golden hour. It’s magical and yet so intimidating. There’s also a parking lot closeby, so you can park and walk to the canyon.
Excellent viewpoint on your way to radium hot spring, the views from this spot are amazing. There is ample parking on both sides and there is pedestrian crossing for safe crossing across the highway. Expect to encounter wildlife on the highway. The highway to radium, hot spring has no cell coverage and no gas station for about 105 km. The sidewalk for the viewpoint is paved and wheelchair accessible. There are garbage and recycling bins. The view of the mountain range is exceptional, and it's 100% worth it to stop by. Its not to far from town about 20 mins. Check out videos and images and follow me for more detailed reviews.
Kootenay Valley viewpoint is one from many beautiful areas in Kootenay National Park. This viewpoint is so amazing, especially in spring or fall.
An absolutely lovely scenic vista overlooking the valley. Stop and soak it all in. Pretty good shot at seeing a grizzly bear close up, and Black-chinned Hummingbirds hang out here in swarms. Really glad we took the time to stop. Highly recommended
You must stop here and take in the view of this valley! It is truly breathtaking. There is also a path u can take which I recommend.
Beautiful viewpoint, great for photography. Nature signs explaining the wildlife and nature in the Kootenays.
Nice view of the nearby mountains and also the valley
One of many places on the highway. The mountains are beautiful.
