Beautiful winery with lovely scenery. Their wines never disappoint and the restaurant has a wonderful menu. Everything is good. The terrasse is beautiful, especially when the vines start growing in. A must try for anyone that is a wine lover.
Really good wine and excellent food. Beautiful tasting room. Room to sit outside or inside.
Very beautiful and calm place the win tasting was amazing staff were really helpful
Wine tasting explanation is less friendly than other wineries we’ve tried. I think because they are a bit lack of staff, so the place was a bit busy. It looks like they just finished doing renovation and seems like a good upgrade. The view and the room here is amazing.
We stopped in while visiting family. It's a really nice looking place. Interesting local history pictures & stories inside on the walls. We learned some things. We did not try the wines as we had to get going. Maybe another time.
The place is beautiful. The people is so friendly. The tour is very good. The taste was amazing. The food in the restaurant was excellent. In brief, I would recommend to live this experience at least once.
Nothing changed. Same taste, same quality. It’s a good place to have a rest with a glass of wine. And the wine btw, is very soft.
The recommended vineyard in Quebec. Tried ones in Ontario and other European ones. This one is not tasting at the COVID. So bought the $28 most expensive bottle of Chardonnay for a try. Announced by the salespersons that it won the medal over blind taste. The wine was also put in the American oak barrel according to the salesperson. They say the wine is chilled well for opening and tasting outside. When it is opened, they used the screw that doesn’t hurt the cork, but the temperature of the wine bottle is not satisfactory. The taste is hmm, spice, wax and a bit smoky, worse than any bottle even in Costco. I wanna enrich my knowledge in wine medals here, so I went online according to the photo I took at the shelf. Look carefully, the medal has 2020 and 2018 on it, the bottle is 2019. Not even the medal has nothing to do with the bottle, the website has not mentioned this bottle in none of these years. This is cheating that I don’t like.

The ciders and wine were great, the lady serving us was warm and friendly, and the outdoor seating next to the vines was picturesque and peaceful. Prices were very reasonable for such good, local products. Pay an extra $5 and you get to taste at their partner winery across the atreet. Deal! Thanks!
Awesome cider and winery. We came in with a ferry large group and the staff was wonderfully accommodating to seat us all together and help us out with our tastings. Our server was smiling, laughing and very friendly. Our group had a great time and some took some bottles home with them. Highly recommend!!
UNION LIBRE Cidre & Vin is a great place to stop for a sample of great ciders and wines. Eric, the owner, was very polite and helpful. I bought two very good cider aperitifs! The Cider Aperitif is fantastic! Made from a fire cider fortified with apple brandy. Complex and authentic, it offers a nose of ripe apples that evolves into hints of honey and candied fruit. Stop by and give them a try!
While we enjoyed the wines, they were served warm and in plastic glasses in a 4 choice "flight" for $12. We selected a white, a rosée and 2 aperitif wines. I wish they had been chilled. I have visited many wineries in the area and felt the service was less than I had hoped for. We made our selection and were asked to go outside where they would bring it to us. We both felt that this was not the usual tasting experience but the wines would have been better chilled.
Ciders were absolutely delicious, which says a lot considering I'm not a huge cider fan. It was pretty busy when we were there but the owner really took his time to explain their approach/process. Going to be buying a case!
Did a tasting at $5 for 4 products - the lady at the counter was friendly and explained the different products and how they were made. The two cidre feu & glace "reserves" were excellent.
Fantastic and a super nice host/owner. Perfect experience on a fall day in the Eastern Townships!
Passionate couple with amazing products. Worth the visit! Hard to walk out without a bottle or two.

The friendliest staff out of all the wineries we’ve tried. The guy that took us on tour and wine tasting was so patient to explain everything so detailedly. We were lucky that it’s early in the year that there wasn’t so many visitors so we could ask all the questions we want. Honestly learnt so much from the guy! Highly recommended!
We wasted too much time here waiting for our food *edit* So when this review was posted keep in mind that we had been biking for a couple hours and our original lunch spot closed early for a "special event" during a long weekend. We were recommended to stop here. This vineyard is not set up to prepare food for a lot people. They had one small oven for a decently sized patio. The employees were working hard to keep up with the demand of a long weekend crowd, we were the tail end (near 2pm), and I cannot fault them. This will likely be an issue everywhere in the area, especially with nice weather...
I had big expectations for this place because of their pizza and wine concept but was disappointed. Maybe it’s only because of the COVID situation but it felt very much like a fast food joint more than winery experience. We were asked to choose our pizza, paid for it and wait for our number to be called. Pizza was served in a box, no utensils or plates. We could to eat our pizza and savory our wine in the back in the vines where they had some tables and chairs. The pizza was good and so was the wine but it could be better organized. A few parasols could be helpful given our unpredictable weather in Quebec.
As I'm drinking my Saint-Pepin, I remember when we visited on May 4th 2019, late afternoon, that I haven't written yet the review of my experience. They get 3 stars for their products alone, it is good but they lose 2 stars for using the same glass, unrinsed, between tasting of wines that have nothing in common, and serving an open bottle with cork bits in the wine. I know their reds but I wanted to try some of their whites. I'm happy with what I left with but really was disappointed when they didn't have water when I ask for some just to rinse my palette and that, I know for a fact that the red wine served after the white I tasted was changed because of the leftover. No apologies for the cork bits, the young woman even told me that I didn't need to have a clean glass for the red in the first. She was friendly and courteous but something was really off. Overall, I was disappointed of finally visited this place after knowing and working with their wines.
Lovely little vineyard. We really enjoyed our tasting of their full line of products, complete with a training on how to taste wine, a visit to the cellar, and a peek into the production process. Staff were so nice and approachable, even towards novices. Not to be missed!
This place would have been better if they didn't try to serve food. Their tiny pizza oven holds maybe 4 pizzas, which isn't very efficient when there are dozens of orders. We waited over an hour for food that was still partially frozen when served to us.
Wine is good. Haven't not in my taste range though. Good wine but not something out of the ordinary. But the pizza... Oh god! Get a pizza and a glass of wine. Won't be disappointed.
The wine is nothing exceptional, and the pizza.. we waited over 30 minutes for them and please don’t get the margarita waste of money, the other are okay but very expensive for what you get.

The staff is so nice!! Bilingual staff. great wine, great snacks, nice little walk to see sculptures, clean bathroom. Would recommend and go again another year!
I was there for my birthday and we had an amazing day .. the staff were super nice to us .. we are definitely going back
Stopped by to sample some wine and we were warmly received. We purchased the 5 wine sampler for $12 and it was excellent. Our server was funny and engaging and among the wines we samples, we were able to zero in on the one we purchased for our picnic on their grounds. The grounds are very nice and have art strewn throughout. Such a hospitable bunch and would definitely be back.
Nice and friendly place. I had a tasting (12 CAD for 5 wines, pretty cheap) and made the tour of the winery with another glass of wine. Very pleasant experience.
How do I give more than 5 stars? Lulu (and Louise and Lucy the cat) were beyond amazing hosts. They were so welcoming, so warm, so full of life. They love the wine. And the cider! My goodness! Lulu called one "her baby" and it was sublime. They explained the wines perfectly and you will not get very acidic or bright wines here. No pinot grigio or vino Verde. But very balanced drinkable wines across the board. Lulu pulled out a secret white port wine at the end of our stay and it was more than words can describe. It was a white wine that tasted like lightly toasted walnuts and vanilla. We are going to come here every June from now on. Suuuch an incredible place. A beautiful winery owned and operated by wonderful people who love wine and life! We will always remember Lulu, Louise, and Lucy.
Very nice winery with all the decorations and sculptures. Friendly staffs. They have a 400 years old maple tree in the garden.
I go every year to this beautiful place. I go for the sculptures, for the walk, to breathe what the city does not offer me. To whisper, in competition to the wind, how much I care of the ´person I invite. There are a couple of stones (one of them in the picture below) filled with human faces, who knows, our souls rest in the rocks. Could be the reason why our ancestors keep mountains as sacred? The Domaine Côte d'Hardoise, this place is a must.
We chose Domaine Cotes d'Ardoise because they have sculptures in the vineyard, a bistro with local cheeses and meats, and grapes. All three of these features were great!

Amazing wine selection, exceptional wine tasting experience, and world class scenery! Would come visit again and again! :)
Very nice place. The wine is not wow, but the service and the premises are wonderful. For 14$ you can taste 7 different products in very small quantities. A lot better than he majority around. There is no food. Verdict : give it a try.
The best relaxing afternoon in a long time. After the tasting I explored the winery. Everyone was so kind and knowledgeable. It was greatly appreciated. I bought a few bottles for gifts and to keep. I picked the wrong red though. My fault but hey I have an excuse to go back. The wines were superb so I will definitely enjoy the red that I got. I did bring a snack to go with the wines. It helped to keep me from getting light headed since I am only an occasional drinker that loves good wine. These did not disappoint.
We visited four wineries in the area and Val Caudalies had by far the most beautiful views looking across the vineyard that slopes away from the tasting area and then across a wide space to some distant mountains. The wine and cider tasting featured 8 or so items. The young lady that poured us the samples did a great job explaining each one and bringing it to life. A wonderful experience! Thanks!
Wonderful variety of wines engagingly presented. Vermouth is quite special. Nice Mountain View’s
We came here last year for a wine tasting and had a great time on the terrasse even though it was pretty cold. They had blankets which was a nice touch. The wine wasn't to our tastes but the cider was pretty good. The employee at the kiosque wasn't super friendly though we were at the end of the day.
We are a cycling group, the winery gave us access to their parking area for the day while we discovered the area until our appointment at 4 o’clock where we were seated in the giant gazebo tasting their various wines and ciders while enjoying the views of the countryside and mountains in the horizon. 10 star for me, just for the free parking accommodations !
Our first trip to the E. Townships, and this was far and away the best tasting experience! Wonderful setting. Helpful, welcoming staff. And, best of all, delicious products. An unexpected surprise: the sweet vermouth! Can't wait to make a delicious cocktail out of it! Will definitely come back this way again the next time we wander over the border.

The trio of wineries at this spot were all good and fun! Gagliano's is where we decided to change up from just tasting wine and instead also have some delicious food. Pizza from the wood fired oven was delicious and the macarons were a surprise treat! It was all well enjoyed sitting next to the vineyard. Thank you!
Absolutely fantastic winery. Producing decent red wine is a challenge in Quebec. Gagliano makes some good product. Grab a bottle of Trinata when it's in stock. Beautiful place to grab a bottle of wine and relax with family or friends. Been coming here for year and will continue to come back
We enjoyed our wine tasting experience. The setting was very picturesque and we were able to walk through the vineyard. Some picnic tables in the vineyard provided a wonderful picnic experience but we chose to eat indoors. For the wine tasting, I tried a white wine and a dessert wine and I had the rosée wine with our meal. All the wines were very good. The pizza was not what we expected, unfortunately. The pizza was made from a prepared crust and the toppings were then added on. Although they claim it was cooked in a small wood fired oven, the texture was not what we expected.
The venue was lovely, wine was quite good.pizza was horrible. Crust and sauce tasted store bought. A rip off for the money. Very disappointing. Been here before was much better. Won’t be back.
The wine is good and the setting is lovely, but the pizza was literally served on a large pita bread, totally overpriced, and we waited 1h20 for it. On top of that, they give you only a butter knife in the picnic box to cut dry sausage, baguette, and cheese.
very nice place with good wines! You can have a great day off with your friends!
I was there today to try the wine and their firewood oven pizza. My wife and I entered the front of the building to be completely ignored for about 7 minutes, no eye contact, no acknowledgment. We came out and went to the back restaurant where we purchased some wine. I wanted to try the pizza but when I turned my head towards the wood burning oven, I saw the piles of store bought pizza doughs so we turned around and walked away. Really disappointed, they have all the tools but don’t have the decency to make their own dough…. Hmmmm
Good wine, friendly service. However horrible pizza. Yes it is a wood fired oven, but the dough is premade.

We had an enjoyable blueberry U-pick experience. The berries are large and fresh. The owner is responsive via telephone and was able to advise if we should make a trip down based on the weather. It’s about a 1.5hour drive from Montreal, and well worth the trip. Looking forward to the apple picking season.
I went there with my friends to pickup sour 🍒, nice farm, first rows were blueberries 🫐 , then sour cherry trees 🥰👌🏻 They have boxes of 2L to 4L to choose for pickup fruits.
My first time blueberry picking and I loved it! So many different kind of yummy blueberries. A little swing and slide for the kids and picnic tables with sunflowers 🌻
Love this place, have been coming for the past few years for the blueberries alone! But make sure you check the website for the proper hours as Google, Google Maps and their website all have different listed hours, so it was a little confusing to tell when they were open!
We purchased a basket of apples from their roadside stand. Nasty, impolite, and curt service came with the price of the apples. We,ll be certain to pass right by next time. We were shocked and dismayed to be treated so poorly. We let it ruin an otherwise perfect day.
A very good place to pick fresh berries. And with the variety of the berries they have, you can always find what suits your taste. I wish they to be more strict with the berries which are not quite ready yet. For instance when we visited the site the blackcurrant and redcurrant required at least 1 or 2 weeks. But people already were picking them :(.
Very clean and organized farm. Reasonable price and good quality fruits. They have blueberries, black and red current, raspberries, flowers, sour cherries … etc. A basket for 4 liters =25$ and 3 liters=20$. There is a kiosk that you can purchase fruits and honey, Jam, juice and etc. Highly recommend
Great place to go with family and friends on the weekend. Not too far away from Montreal. Love the fresh raspberries and blueberries, and we enjoyed process of picking.

Wonderful experience. Will definitely come back. Great products including propolis, foot balm, hand balm and of course a great selection of honey.
This store in the outhouse is so welcoming and warm! Liliane was very helpful explaining the products. We got loads of honey of different types, Spring one being our favorite. The taste is just impeccable. We also used the hand salve and lip balm which smells fabulous and love how it feels against the skin. Excellent products overall!
I have been coming here for honey, facial products, and more for over 10 years now, and I love every single thing made here. I can also order online and get products shipped to the US, but since the borders re-opened, it's so much more fun to come visit in person. The shop is beautiful, and so is the farm - really a treasure off of the beaten path. The owner is lovely and kind and friendly and I stay for hours every time I visit. I have seen new products developed over time, and at this point I almost solely use 3 acres products for all of my face and skin care. (My favorites are the facial scrub, face lotion, both kinds of toner, relief ointment, facial mask, and SPF, but I pretty much get one of everything). The skin on my face is allergic to almost every product made in almost any stores, but these are so incredibly natural and free of chemicals and everything I'm allergic to, they are safe and work amazing. It's such a joy to find something so pure that works so well and brings me joy every time I use each product. The honey also tastes great, and sometimes I leave with other fun things like drinking glasses with bees on them, fresh farm eggs, and more. Always a joy to visit, I feel very lucky to have found this place many years ago, and will continue to return as often as we can! :)
My family and I participated in their two hour workshop titled "Beekeeper for a Day". It was a great experience and I highly recommend it to anyone who is remotely interested in bees or has a love for honey. Steve and Liliane are very informative and wonderful hosts. As well, their products are amazing - from the wine to the skin baulms, we bought them all! If you want a unique experience while visiting the Eastern Townships, this is it.
The Les Trois Acres Autumn honey is hands down the best honey I have ever had. I use it plain, for cooking, and for all my honey based ferments. My daughter puts the creamed honey on her waffles in the morning. They also have a fortified mead called Crescendo that has become my go-to gift whenever we go visit friends or family for a holiday or special dinner. The apiary is only a few minutes off the main road to Sutton, and the quick side journey is totally worth it!
Amazing place and products! Really lovely.

We had the absolute pleasure of visiting Domaine de Dunham today for plum picking, based off the reviews and we were not disappointed. It is a beautiful orchard and the staff are so warm and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit if you're visiting the Eastern Townships while in Quebec. Picking of plums and apples is allowed and you can buy baskets of peaches and pears from their shop. As we visited them on a Sunday we ended up doing free tasting of their cider. They also sell a small selection of baked goods, mustard and honey. Thank you for your hospitality!
Love this place for apple/pear picking and spending an afternoon. There's a space to have a picnic with tables. Theres also cows and pigs on the property, the pigs love their apples too. Fun for the kids! They also have a cute shop with their/local products and a little tasting stand as well. The price for a bag to pick the apples is 15$ if I recall, they didnt offer pear picking when we went this y so I assume they werent in season.
A great place to take the family for apple picking
Lovely place. We go every year. Good quality products. Friendly environment. Lots of picnic tables and parking space.
Beautiful place to pick apples peaches plums and pears. Also homemade apple bread and donuts very friendly service and staff.
Love going here every year to pick apples, easy access, no need to climb ladders and so many varieties to pick from.😊
Amazing place with really kind staff! They also has a barbecue and picknic area! Next time we definitely will back to this place!
Its excellent place to feel the best moment with your family and friends, collect apples are very funny!!!!!

We really enjoyed the red, enough to buy a bottle of red.
Beautiful winery but owner was rude and unwelcoming to us. She was condescending and unwilling to answer any of our questions as tourists. We left without any service or answers and feeling disrespected. Plus side- the DUNHAM Brewery across the street is wonderful, welcoming and staff answered all of our questions.
The least you can expect at a touristic spot is a welcoming staff. The lady at the counter was rude and unhelpful. We drove out of our way to see this place, a total disappointment.
Great 🍷 wines, friendly staff Very nice view
It’s such a great company. I can’t stop talking to my family and friends about it.

This place is worth of 1 hour drive from Montreal. The location is great with the views to Sutton and Pinnacle mountains. The blueberry picking is enjoyable and the owners are very friendly. Highly recommend.
Love this place! ❤️ It’s my second time here and surely would like to be back next year! Pastries, very friendly people, beautiful views and off course delicious all kind of blueberries! Highly recommend to visit.
We are long-time customers and have recommended this place to our friends and at our work place. Over the years, they have become a commercial place that expect the customers to pay, pick up quickly and leave. Upon our arrival, the lady at the counter assigned us to a place to pick up and left, she didn’t tell us what are the rules or anything else. There were around 3 types of blueberries. Unfortunately, we didn’t know that tasting is not allowed and yes we tasted and were debating which type we should pick up. I started to pick up right away, but my husband was enjoying the view, taking pictures and was on his phone. Not even after 3-5 minutes, the owner came to us and angrily told us that he was watching us and told my husband that his basket is empty and he’s only eating and at this pace he’ll end up eating his entire field (vous allez manger tout mon champ!!!). My husband apologized and said that we didn’t know tasting is not allowed, but he didn’t stop there, was going on and on how it’s not fair to eat and what’s going to be left after we leave etc. etc. it was so weird and awkward, I told him we literally just arrived, that’s why the basket is empty. We quickly picked up whatever just to leave faster, I didn’t want to spend a lot of time there. We brought home two baskets of small and sour blueberries. There are a lot of other nice places that are much closer and I can also buy same product at the grocery store for half of the price, so definitely we didn't go there to eat. The only reason we went it's because of the landscape. I never experienced such a rude attitude. He could have nicely asked us if we know that tasting is not allowed.
NIce place to spend an hour or two picking blueberries with the kids. They have a wonderful view and picnic tables if you want to bring a lunch.
So beautiful, tranquil and the blueberrys were fantastic. Not to mention the fresh baked goods and blueberry juice!
Amazing place to spend a nice day and pick blueberries. Pets allowed. Great views.
Amazing blueberrys (big, juicy and sweet) and a more amazing view.
Family run, lovely and charming place ... Highly recommend and to visit the area

A very fun, relaxing hang at a beautiful spot. Wine tasting options were relaxing and enjoyable on a rainy day.
*** EDIT The review below is second experience in October 2024: This is was second trip to this winery. First one was positive experience. Two years later, and total disappointment. With first wine tasting you get wine for tasting and for extra charge can get a little bot with some cheese and meat. This time nothing. If you want, go buy what you want from the fridge in the boutique, they will cut it for you if you want and "enjoy". Like seriously? From a high quality service to drop to a convenience store? The same with the wine. One of them (don't remember the name) we couldn't drink. The girls at the bar didn't make an effort to ask us if we did like the wine. :) I'm coming here in summer one more time just to make sure it wasn't a bad dream and this location still offers a high quality service. If that happens one more time I will drop the review to 1 star maximum. The review below is first experience 2 years ago: An awesome place to taste the wine or some cocktails. But, you must be prepared. If you are traveling in the area and decided to make a stop, then you will get basic. If you want to come to this place to eat or have a small chat with your friends/family then book your place are the restaurant. There are many other stuff you must study about this place or call them to get a shot help, otherwise you will get lost :) . In other words you will get the best of the best if you book your trip to this winery
Beautiful modern winery. Lots of place in and out to sit. Wines, cocktails & spirits available including a yummy coffee liquor and a selection of products involving maple syrup!
Great grounds, good amount of delicious food. We were 6 and couldn't finish, had to take desserts home. Friendly staff.
Magical place , every corner have its story perfect atmosphere statt are very friendly i had the best lunch the executive chef with every meal approach u and explain the food he is serving In addition price was very acceptable in terms to the quantity and quality of food we ordered in the winery finest restaurant
A different way of experiencing the sugar shack. A beautiful winery with a gourmet tasting menu that maintains the essence of the typical traditions of the sugar shack. The whole menu is creatively served and super tasty. The salted caramel sauce made with maple is DELICIOUS. The boutique is also super nice and you can Vita really good wine. The place has several spaces to stay and share with your partner or family and enjoy the scenery.
Amazing! While I've been a couple times before for the bistro and tastings, this time we did the 'le prestige' tour. Our guide was so knowledgable, very approachable, and made the tour feel so much fun. We were able to take the time to taste and enjoy in a beautiful setting. Tasting from the barrels and seeing where the wine was bottled was also a unique experience. Then we finished at the bistro, with a great table overlooking the vineyard, while eating items that had come from their own garden and farm. You can really appreciate the thought they've taken with their winery to make themselves sustainable and minimize their environmental footprint. A perfect day.
Be careful, they write they work till 6 pm on Sunday but in reality they close degustation hall at 5:15 pm! It was not pleasant news because we went there specially for degustation. You can buy bottle of wine in the bar till 6 p.m, but you cannot try it first. At least the place is beautiful inside and outside.
