Great as it was a donation only place. It was pretty cool, but I think my dad liked it better than me. "The first Nation baskets were really cool I also like the cabin because you can walk inside." He said and I agree with him on the cabin part.
Review Date: July 22nd, 2015 Interested in Canadian history, eh? On the strange and long journey through Canada, I didn’t expect us to end up at a Museum dedicated to Princeton and the surrounding area. We headed to Princeton for a few days before making that long trek home. While there, my cousin’s wife took us around to show us the little town. We ended up at this museum and learned a bit more about Canada. This museum, despite the small-looking size outside, offered a ton of information and historical artifacts on the inside. I was astounded by the amount of cool antique objects and small replicas that the small museum held. It was really cool to look over and learn about not just the history of another country but the story behind the local area. Compared to some other museums that I have been to, this one felt homely and welcoming. The few staff members made us feel really welcomed and answered any questions we had. Not sure what else to say about this place. It was a nice little history stop in our long journey. If you find yourself in Princeton with an afternoon free and you got a hankering for learning, this place won’t disappoint.
Very lovely collections of minerals and fossils. Did find it to be lacking in information compared to other small town museums I've visited but definitely still worth visiting if your in the area
If you are interested in Canada history, This is an amazing place! I wondered here around 4 hours, enjoyed all treasures on display. I learned many facts about the the town story, pioneers, mining, and the crazy gold rush. I will bring my friends here to enjoy the history of Princeton and District's unique heritage and culture.
Talk about a hidden gem! We were just looking for shade to park in and happened upon this little museum in the core of a quaint little town of Prinction and I was so glad I went and took a look! They have a huge collection of rock from multiple different people on lone to them. They have a ton of stuff from the history of the local area and a bunch of stuff from the old HBC fur trade company. Lots of knowledge tucked away here. I highly recommend check this place out with your family or friends. Don’t forget to walk around outside too the have so old fire trucks and mining equipment too!
Thank you! The gentleman here was very knowledgeable and friendly. Entry by donation. Very compact with so much fun stuff! Free postcards as well. Stop by if you can!
Came through to see it but arrived too late in the day. We will be back though! Edit: One of the staff spotted us digging fossils on a hill and invited us in to see the collection. What a treat! The Pollard collection is a must see for anyone with any interest in geology or paleontology. Staff assisted us in our fossil hunting trip and directed us to several great locations. Managed to find us some decent flora fossils and one fantastic insect wing specimen!
Cool museum with pertinent facts and a lovely Player piano! Its free, they just ask for a donation.

Great place for an early spring camping weekend. The highway is right there, so traffic noise is a bit annoying but you get used to it! The beach is lovely — soft sand, lovely ambiance. Really enjoyed ourselves.
A lovely camping spot with a spacious beach with big sandy spots. Camping spots are super spacious and would fit big tents. No shower and the toilet doesn’t have running water though. There was a water well for washing dishes (not sure if it was potable). There are more beaches in the area if you’d like more privacy. 10-15 mins away there is a small town with basic groceries and gas station. The nights reveal plenty of stars, it’s amazing! The highway is a little close so at night it might be disturbing if you’re a light sleeper.
This was an incredibly well kept campsite. The bathrooms were very clean and the park rangers were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Our sites were clean and almost all had a little path down to the river for private access, the day use area was easily accessible as well. Personally I did not find the highway noise disruptive at all, we will definitely be back here to camp again!
Nice little campground. Water is normally clear as in my video. Unfortunately, overnight it turned muddy brown apparently from a slide. Nice swimming holes. No showers or flush toilets.
Was a great place to swim and sun. Has a very nice sandy beach like area with both sun and shade. While the river was very low at the time I was there people were still cliff jumping in a couple of deep areas.
Offering both day use and camping, this is more than a place to take a rest or stop for the night, majestically tall pine trees greet you at the end of the parking lot. More than a dozen well-kept picnic tables are about 20 feet from the your parking spot. Walking down to the river is a sandy beach where you can get a sun tan, listen to the water running over the rocks. If you swim across the river you can climb Bromley Rock and jump into the water, about a 15 foot drop. Even if you don't like swimming or jumping it is fun to watch other people do it!
A very nice small park, beach is nice, sand is soft, there is aslo trees along the beach you can find shade. The most amazing here is there is very big rocks on top of the river, there is always people there diving. The wash room there is also very clean.
Great little area to hang out on the small sandy beach to catch a tan or dive off Bromley rock into the glacial lake to cool down and have some fun. Quite a pretty hidden place off the hwy with campground close by. Had lots of fun!😃😃😃

A great layout. The course is in great shape. The people working here are so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.
Has a wonderful time at the Princeton Golf Club today. We stopped in Princeton for 2 nights to camp/golf while on our way to Creston. We camped at the Municipal RV/Campsite (right across the highway from the golf course). The attendant at the club house was very nice and was able to get us a tee time for the next morning at 7:45. Good thing because it was HOT! We were paired with local members Dee and Frank, who were both very kind, patient and great golfers. Frank let my husband know the quirks about each hole and even gave us some course history. We enjoyed their company very much. After our round, we enjoyed a great lunch at Divots.
Beautiful spot. Great golf course but the wifi sucks.
We were there for 3 days and enjoyed the RV park and the golf course except for the poor timing of watering the course and the greens. All the course sprinklers during the rounds that we played in the mid afternoon were running. There was also a ladies tournament running just ahead of us and they were dodging the sprinklers also. We asked the pro shop about this and we were told that they couldn't shut them off as this was up to the greens keeper. Some of us have been golfing a long time and never experienced this on a course before. So between getting wet, dodging sprinklers and putting on greens that were just punched and sanded with rocks in it , this made our little getaway a big disappointment. Also no discount given.
Wing night was excellent! The service was great and those servers were busy and always came to our table with a smile!
• Staff are clueless, sitting in my RV in +37 Celsius (98 Fahrenheit), AC on, the guy is going around turning off breakers, because somewhere a breaker tripped. • That was the only time I saw any employees. • Site was fairly level. • Site was tight, very, very close to neighbors. • It’s basically a parking lot with services. • If you want a nice quiet campground, this is not the place for you. • Hard to enforce rules when the camp host is one of the ones partying all night. • Showers are fairly clean, and adequate pressure, you get 5 minutes for $1.00. • WIFI was slow, Rogers worked great. • Would not stay here again.
Great track. Some tough holes but overall a nice golf course.
Young lady nartial or worker was do rude.. when I approached her to ask where us the next hold.. 13... because I was out the route 10m to come to the worker she was on Dr eange side.

Quick hike very close to Princeton during the off ski season. Amazing views. I hiked one of the easy trails. During the on season you can go snowshoeing and skiing. Hidden gem!
Enjoyed an early spring mountain biking adventure here. Love that there are cabins for warming up in winter when snowshoeing or x country skiing.
Good hike, great day to be outside.
Beautiful area with perfect fluffy snow. Loved the snowshoeing and the cross country ski trails are excellent. There's even a cabin you can stay in and several shelters in the trail network for rest stops.
Amazing snow shoeing, loving biking up there too. Normally pretty much so be careful in the summer, also beard off the wildlife. Never ran into any myself but I've heard stories
Decent hiking trails near Princeton.
Incredible trails! You can also bring some food and enjoy the cabin with firewood stove!

Nice walk but very dry...a bit of hills. I walked to the lake but you can walk farther k. The Pipeline trail...
Good place for bird watching! A must see place. A nice lady from the visitor Centre told us the big gate normally closed to stop cars but the side path is always open to walking visitors.
A very interesting spot to see and hear wildlife as well as a wide variety of plant life. We saw lots of different birds and a deer family of five! Highly recommend when you want to be in a different part of nature. Plus we were there for two hours and didn’t see anyone else.
Wonderful place for a nature walk or to go birding. The lake itself has two blinds which are very well kept. A small Trail Network wanders through the grasslands. I tallied 32 bird species during my visit in late April.
Nice hike, quiet nature stop.
Awesome little refuge.
Very pretty, easy walk.

Drove through Princeton, BC, and it felt like I was navigating through a charming, snow-dusted village
It’s a very nice experience and the lady is very helpful. She shared a lot of advice on how to pick and open the geode. We get an extremely beautiful geode. A lot of thanks❤️
Driving West, I crossed the Line and made it to Osoyoos for a mini "Spirit Walk" where I stayed over at Spirit Ridge on sacred land. The vistas were beautiful across the land that I had to stop so often driving through wine country that my schedule was shot. I made it to Princeton wondering if I should find a place for the night. PVC has EVERYTHING they needed to offer you good travel advice ...the clouds were gathering in my direction. They nailed it, 'if you go now, you could make it through the pass (Hope Pass in Sawatch Mountans) just as the rain is starting ...no snow predicted, but is elevation is steep' I was driving in the Pass when a light rain came: I did see a few flurries. All of the cars coming at me didn't have snow and were only a little wet; I kept going... I made it to Abbotsford by 1645 AND when I realized exactly where I was, I drove on to White Rock and back over the Line to Bellingham, just at dark to find a hotel. Thank you Priceton Visitors Centre for putting me on the right track...
Friendly knowledgeable staff who make sure you make the most of your stay at Princeton. When I arrived Donna and Noah provided detailed information on what there was to do and see in town. Including the oppertunity and tools to go gold panning which was a great laugh. I highly recommend a visit to the centre if you are staying in town.
Extremely helpful folks here ! Stopped in and got a bronze statue map, a free penticton sticker, an art book, and other goodies , they have a public bathroom a well and parking outback for larger vehicles!
First time stopping by, Donna was so very welcoming and helpful. Even spoiled our dog. Could not recommend stopping in enough.
Stop for the bathrooms. Clean and a quick detour from highway. They have lots of info about many regions of BC
Amazing service, beautiful and clean! Went to get brochures and info about cycling!

We stopped in for a couple nights last summer and were treated like family by Gary and Gloria! The campground is easy to find and is very well taken care of. The sites are clean and well laid out and in close proximity to water, which is a must for me personally! There is a lovely little trail system the have made for accessing the river and an easy float down to Bromley Rock which is shown in my attached photos! Will definitely be stopping in again this summer :)
Heading home from Kettle Creek and found this lovely little spot just off the highway along the river to stop for the night. Nice wide open space, lovely big rock fire pits for "Gondor calls for aid" size fires, clean out house, a nice swimming hole among the shallows of the river and lovely owners!
Well maintained camping spot by couple. They charge $20 per night for one camping spot. Each camping spot has fire pit, food table. It’s river side and you can enjoy river views and enjoy fresh bath in the river. There’s is no signal availability however owners offer basic wifi. Firewood costs $5 for bunch of them. There are no restaurants or convenience stores around maybe upto 20 kms range.
Absolutely wonderful, trails and beautiful nature all around u with a wicked little river for tubing!!! Definitely one of the best ones I've been to
What a wonderful spot. Nice river to wade in. Amazing veiw. The staff are great. Highly recommended.
Great place to camp. Hosts are wonderful! If you have the opportunity to stay here you should check it out
This camp site is UNREAL! If you like going on a wicked float with beautiful beaches along the way with a drop off right at your campsite, then this is the spot for you! Really nice camp spots right beside the river. Also Gary and Gloria are the kindest most laid back camp hosts I have ever met, hands down. We got a flat on our trailer just as we pulled in and Gary was there asap with a 4 ton bottle jack. Best camping trip/floating trip honeymoon adventure ever!
Thank you Gary and Gloria. Pulled into this wonderful gem of a campground, with hydraulic hose problem. Gary was at our campsite before we ever got parked to offer his help and expertise to get our repair done and gave us direction to find hose repairs. I would highly recommend this spot to everyone. Owners are wonderful , campsites are large and accommodating. Peaceful quiet spot and we will definitely use them again when in the area
