Nice gardens of Acadian vegetation for crops. Museum was informative and volunteers were friendly.
Awesome lots to learn great ladies
There is a treasure trove of information on YOUR Acadian family roots just WAITING for you -- at the "Acadian Museum of Pubnico and Research Centre". This was THE highlight and THE goldmine of our trip to Nova Scotia...as we were seeking info on family roots. We were thrilled to talk to database technician and local archivist Bernice D'Entremont who found 11 generations of our family history in their database. We came back 1 day later for a printed 35 page report ready to take home; pretty exciting! Mr. Real D'Entremont toured us through an actual planted Acadian garden of foods that would be available to the peoples of the 1600's (they had no potatoes!). We discovered that Nasturtium flowers and leaves they used in salads are actually delicious! We had a guided tour of the museum with a knowledgeable local interpreter who imparted fascinating facts about the start of this part of our country and Baron Phillippe D'Entrement who came from France to establish this area, and the great deportations that sent thousands of people to other countries and away from their cherished land. Many worked diligently to return and some eventually succeeded, and their desendents live here to this day. Worth the visit; very affordable; friendly and oh so very helpful staff! If you like photography there's quite a display of actual very old, vintage cameras through the ages. Gift shop has Acadian history books you won't find elsewhere, Acadian music CDs, hand made artistry, lots of quilts, as well as small affordable and fun items to take home to family. Just GO.
Well kept museum of the oldest Acadien settlement. Nice to find the people still speaking french there. Bonne continuation!
Very Small Museum full of local history. Definitely a place to stop by.
The tour lady(archivist) was a wealth of historical info.
It looked very nice from outside we wish we could check out the inside but it was closed. We visited in August weekend.
Everyone was so knowledgeable and friendly. They exist on donations, so please give. Excellent history lesson. The gift shop is lovely and Jeanette also showed us the veggie garden in the back. She was very pleasant, friendly and easy to talk with.

Very nice course. Forrest setting, lots of brooks and ponds. Best thing is none of the fairways interfere with one another. Will definetly play again. Only complaint is the range balls were way past their prime.
My husband and I are new members here at the club. We find the course is a good size, well maintained and comfortably walkable. The back nine holes are more interesting and overall more visually appealing, and we enjoy the layout. We experienced a ton of blackflies or mosquitoes in the more wooded areas when the wind died down. Bring bug spray!!
Well worth the money. It’s challenging for beginners, but it’s really well spaced out and you never feel rushed. There’s some great open fairways, and I appreciated the clocks at the t-boxes to keep track of your timing. it’s a good course all around. You’ll definitely need your bug spray here - don’t forget the heavy deet off!
The fairways were really dry, but the greens were well maintained. Prices are very reasonable and the staff are super friendly.
Very nice course and well kept. The staff is always awesome
Great experience and amazing staff. This is a awesome course to play on.
Beautiful wide open, treed spaces. Quiet and I'd say peaceful too.
Nice course, easy walking. Friendly service and not expensive.
