This was our first time at White Point Beach Resort, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The beach is beautiful and the staff were l friendly. There are a lot of kids, but the pool becomes adult only later in the evening which is a nice option for a peaceful swim, and the pool staff were fantastic. The food was excellent. We had the fish and chips and were very impressed by the portion size. We stayed in an ocean view room which had a cozy, camping-like feel since you walk to the main lodge. If you are traveling with a senior or someone with mobility issues, I would suggest booking a room in the main lodge instead. The bunnies all over the property were a highlight of the trip, such a unique and charming detail and so cute!
Great honeymoon weekend with the wife. Our second visit here. We got the romance package and stayed in a glome. Loved the chocolate covered stawberrys and Nova 7 wine. Just a short peacefull walk away from the main house where we ate. We had 2 suppers and 2 breakfast. The supper is amazing. I had the beef shortribs both night and the wife had the mushroom afredo. Very good. Shout out to James, our waiter. He made us feel very welcome and had some laughs. The beach was beautiful and we couldnt have asked for a better weekend. I hope to get a tree house next time. If you are thinking about staying here, do it! It has so much character and is a magical getaway. Until next time WP. Love Justin&Chels
We stayed in the Ocean Front King Cottage, 1 of 2 newer cottages @ the resort, in September. We absolutely loved our experience! We were celebrating our 40th Anniversary, & spent 2 nights.... wish we had booked more!!! All staff encountered (especially Housekeeping) were wonderful... friendly, helpful, and accommodating!!! Thank you!! The cottage was beautiful, the Beach was amazing!!! I still hear the sounds of the "ocean" waves crashing on the shore!!! We dined @ Elliott's & the beef short rib was amazing!!! Outdoors, there are bunnies everywhere!!! We would definitely recommend for families, especially with the programming available. Thank you for such a wonderful memory!!!
White Point Beach Resort is one of my favourite places to visit. This was my second trip there. Located by the beach and surrounded by water, the resort is beautifully spread out and offers an amazing atmosphere. With numerous in-house amenities such as a swimming pool, spa, golf course, and spaces for pickleball and volleyball, it truly stands out as a top choice for a getaway. It’s the perfect spot for a group trip or a relaxing night out. The restaurant and bar are excellent, offering great food and service. The only downside, in my opinion, is their very specific and early restaurant and breakfast timings. Otherwise, White Point Beach Resort is definitely a place worth visiting.
It's gorgeous. The "lakeside" glomes (really lake side with ocean views!) are comfortable, private, and luxurious. A private hot tub?! Perfect. Really a wonderful stay start to finish. We were there in the late Fall (Halloween) and it was a perfect time to enjoy a quiet private getaway. Relaxing. Romantic. Even the rain and the wind made it feel cozier.
Always a pleasure at white point beach resort. Food is always delicious, friendly staff and great atmosphere. On the other hand the cottages definitely needs a makeover. its time to start replacing some of them. first night we had a mouse in our cottage running around, went to the front desk and they immediately gived us a second one to also found a mice nest in the bedroom. it also had a strange skinky smell probably caused by the rodents. Went to the front desk again at 10:30 pm and got us a 3rd cottage that finally was Ok. So basically lost a wonderful night moving from cottage to cottage. In the end the staff was very frendly and helped us with moving all of our stuff. we we're reimbursed that night but we lost half of our vacation:(
We had such a wonderful time at White Point this summer! It was our first trip there with our baby girl, and she absolutely loved every minute, from splashing in the pool to watching the waves by the ocean. It was such a special getaway and the perfect mix of relaxation and family fun.
Sat in the lounge and had a delicious lunch over looking the beach. The mussels were absolutely amazing and the broth had so much flavour. Go chef! The fries were so good we ordered more. Our cocktails were fresh and delicious and our server Sammy was really helpful and sweet. 10/10 recommend and will be back for sure!

The location is simply beautiful. Three ocean, lake, woods and bunnies! Everything is so relaxing and fun. Breakfast was awesome, but dinner service left lots to be desired. Service was slow (even though we had to make reservations), food was under cooked both nights (fish and chicken), meal plan was supposed to come with dessert and coffee, we were never offered either. Waited 45 min for the cheque even though the restaurant was slow... I would probably recommend just going to Liverpool for cheaper meals, faster service and better quality unfortunately. Rooms are decent, old charm comes through but I like that! Pools (inside and out) were both nice, hot tub was clean! Bar is expensive, but the setting makes up for it. Live entertainment was very good when we were there!
A Memorable Dining Experience at White Point Beach Resort 🌊🍽️ We had an absolutely wonderful time at White Point Beach Resort! The food was excellent — everything we ordered was flavorful and beautifully prepared. The salmon was cooked to perfection, the chicken and vegetable steak were both delicious, and the calamari stood out as one of the best we’ve had. Our kids were thrilled with their meals too — the chicken tenders were a big hit! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and our waitress was incredibly pleasant and helpful throughout the evening. To top it all off, there was a live band playing in the lounge, which added such a great vibe to the night. Overall, a fantastic experience that we’d highly recommend to anyone visiting the South Shore. We’ll definitely be back!
we stayed in an ocean front treehouse it was one of the best accommodations i have stayed in. it was bright and spotless. my favourite part was the view and the sound of the ocean it was so peaceful and relaxing. we loved our meal at the Founders Lounge the waiter was kind and attentive. all of the staff we encountered were friendly and welcoming. we loved the beach it was so beautiful. we loved watching the resident bunnies. thank you for such a relaxing vacation that was so needed. we look forward to returning someday.
We were underwhelmed by the staff in the bar and maintenance. They were, overall, acting like they were put out to have to serve us. There were 42 of us gathered for a family reunion, and 38 of that number were guests for the resort. We were not allowed to move any tables so that larger numbers of us could sit together, and they seemed to be bothered to even have us in their bar. They didn't want to stress the staff. We weren't expecting all of us to be sitting at one table, but perhaps a few groups of 6 or 8, possibly 10. We were ordering drinks and food, so we weren't hurting the nightly sales. Maintenance wasn't much better. We ended up sweeping off the pickleball courts ourselves with a broom from a cabin in order to play. This was after we had asked maintenance staff for a large broom. We were perfectly fine sweeping it off, but a large broom would have made it a lot easier. They never brought one. The cost of this place should have ensured better service. The location and grounds were lovely, however the staff left a lot to be desired.
Mixed review. Read before booking. There is good and bad about this resort. Good: -Rooms were nice -the faculties are good -the daily use of the lake and ocean sports equipment are great. You can sign out a bike for the entire day, or anything else. No time limit. -having a lake and ocean is great -free parking and no resort fee -having surfing equipment on site was nice. Bad -restaurant service was very poor. Slow and not attentive. -the place hires lots of kids for the summer. They need training in proper service. -The hotel clearly wants you to order the buffets for breakfast and dinner. If you order from the menu, you will wait a long time for the food. -$75 lobster boil dinner was a rip off. The lobster was cold. Do not waste your money. They forced you to eat at 5PM (no exceptions). They also charged us $25 for service fee/tip. -tent BBQ was a ripoff. The cook was grumpy and does not know how to bbq. They do not trim the brisket and it was mostly all fat. A proper brisket must be trimmed before it goes on the smoker. The shrimp skewers were ridiculous as well (three shrimp) only. Do not waste your money. -No adult only pool or hot tub. These areas were over run by loud kids. -nightly entertainment was repetitive (3 nights with the same singer and same songs) -lobby bar closes early at 11PM.
Me and my husband got married here in 2024 and had an amazing experience the team made sure to have everything just perfect. They were also able to accommodate and entirely vegan menu for the whole wedding which was absolutely fantastic! Shelby helped us every step of the way. Our entire guest list was coming from out of province so they all stayed for the weekend and everyone had nothing but nice things to say about their experiences as well and many are planning trips back! We just got back from celebrating our one year anniversary at white point and again everything was fantastic, the room was great (and thank you to Shelby for the anniversary note 😊) food was fantastic (lots of vegan options) we had so much fun taking a canoe out and going for bike rides! We also had an amazing experience with Dorothea at the ocean spa she is the best! We will certainly be coming back next year.
Amazing time. We were visiting from Ontario, and it was a great place to spend a few days relaxing. We had a Glome and it was wonderful. The second bed is in a loft, which we thought was pretty cool. The only feedback would be to have some drying lines on the deck for wet clothes, etc and either a clothes rack or shelves for clothes. Great place, and I would highly recommend it.
