All the entrances to the mosque surroundings are closed to visitors at 8.00h.
Disrespectful, arrogant and service. We came to ask why we can't enter the mosque that was built by our contributes as Moroccans outside of Prayers hours they said the mosque is closed after each prayer wait until the next prayer or go buy a tickets with illogical prices to access the courtyard! This is a House od God this not an amusement park. And you are a foundation not a profitable organization. And when wanted to make an official complaint he gave us a white printing paper and pen nothing official... So unfortunate for such a great mosque.
The beautiful building of the Foundation cost a lost of people's money but the Foundation is not doing enough for people. The mosque lacks green spots, trees and flower plants in the front lawn. The outside lawn floor is all marble and gets very hot in summer but there is no shade, no trees, no flowers, except in the corridors. The foreign visitors pay 120-Dirhams per person for a quick short visit inside, through basement. A lot of maintenance work needs to be done. Please beautify the outside lawn. Thanks.
Very nice and interesting place. One of the biggest mosque in the world 🌎

I visited at 5 AM. The woman and men were walking to open there shops. A few fruit vendors were already open for a long day. It was mostly women in hijab. There are no official laws in the Constitution of the Maldives that require women to cover their heads, but Maldivian women commonly wear a hijab and niqab in public. I brought a gold scarf from WalMart, Penticton, and long smock from Gr Britain. I felt better in this dress as I visited the Hassan II Mosques.

Rabat’s Morocco Mall is no longer a promise, it’s a pulsating reality. Now inaugurated and fully operational, this 100,000 m² architectural triumph redefines luxury retail in Morocco’s capital. Designed by Singapore’s DP Architects (creators of Dubai Mall), the space dazzles with avant-garde curves, cascading waterfalls in its soaring central atrium, and a glass façade that floods interiors with sunlight. Integrated into the Wessal Bourgreg development, it complements landmarks like the Grand Theatre, embodying Rabat’s metamorphosis into a “city of light.” Retail & Culture, Perfected: With 200+ stores, the mall balances global luxury (Dior, Zara) and local pride—Yan&One’s chic designs and Café Clock’s modern-Moroccan flavors shine. The rooftop garden, a tranquil escape with Bouregreg River views, contrasts beautifully with the buzzing indoor aquarium, where vibrant fish glide past mesmerized visitors. Sustainability isn’t an afterthought: green roofs, energy-efficient systems, and recycled materials underscore its eco-commitment. Leisure Unleashed The once “coming soon” amenities are now thriving. Families flock to the ice rink’s frosty loops, while cinephiles lounge in the plush, recliner-equipped cinema. The food court elevates mall dining—skip chains for fragrant tagines, sushi bars, and gelato crafted from Argan oil. Grit Amid Glamour Weekend crowds test the 5,000-space parking lot, and a handful of stores remain under wraps. Yet, the mall’s soul lies in its staff: multilingual greeters, Youssef (the info desk’s walking encyclopedia), and security teams who blend professionalism with warmth. Morocco Mall delivers on its bold vision. More than a shopping hub, it’s a cultural landmark where Rabat’s heritage and future collide. Arrive early, wear comfy shoes, and let the waterfall’s murmur guide you this is modern Morocco at its finest.
Morocco Mall is hands down one of the best shopping destinations I've visited. From the moment you step in, you can feel the scale and luxury of the place. It’s not just about shopping; it’s an experience. The mall offers an incredible variety of stores, from high-end international brands to more affordable local shops, so there’s something for every budget and style. I particularly enjoyed the unique mix of traditional Moroccan craftsmanship alongside modern fashion. One of the highlights of the mall is the gigantic aquarium right in the middle. It’s truly stunning and adds a unique touch that I haven't seen in other malls. For families, it's a great attraction that the kids will love. There’s even a way to take an elevator ride through the aquarium, which was a fun and unexpected surprise. The food court offers plenty of options, with both international fast food chains and local cuisine, so you can grab a bite while enjoying the beautiful ocean views from the rooftop terrace. It’s more than just a place to shop; it’s a destination worth spending a few hours exploring.
The mall looks great after the renovation, especially with the new flooring. I hope they also take care of the elevators, bathrooms, and parking machines. It would be wonderful if they added a cinema similar to the old IMAX 3D.
A bit far from the city. Went by public taxi for 8 dhs only. Such a 3 stories huge mall where you can find many shops, mainly brands, restaurants, cafes, ice cream corner and others. Just a wonderful dinner in the food court in floor 3.
Huge Shopping Mall to visit. ✅A shopping area with mass market stores such as De Facto and premium stores such as Balenciaga. ✅ Home improvement stores like IKEA. ✅ ADVENTURE LAND play area for children with cars, rides, slot machines, etc. ✅ There is an area of restaurants and cafes. ✅ This shopping mall has a large aquarium with sea fish such as rays, sharks, etc.
The largest mall in Africa is a dump. From the pictures the mall looked nice inside but the mall is not maintained at all. Most of the tile floors are broken. Some sections there’s no tiles at all. The toilets are dirty and stinks. The air con is not on so it’s warm inside. The aquarium is a nice touch but it’s the only thing nice about this mall. The food court had some mediocre food stalls. This mall have some nice stores. But everything cost twice as much.
We visited this mall during a roundtrip through several cities and, honestly, found it a bit overhyped. While the space is modern and clean, it didn’t offer anything particularly unique or memorable. The aquarium, often highlighted as a main attraction, felt underwhelming during our visit and isn’t necessarily a must-see. The food court also lacked variety and didn’t seem very inviting. That said, the Adventure Land and a few dining spots were enjoyable—but not quite enough to outweigh the drawbacks. If you're looking for a more well-rounded shopping and leisure experience, I’d recommend checking out Marina Shopping Centre instead.
Near beach the Marine Mall is awesome place, huge mall with all chain of food brands including naturals.👍

The old Medina market just as any other Medina except this is a little modern and looks new. Nevertheless, full of life and colours even in the night. Some very good places to have some great Moroccan delicacies or Tea.
Medina Market is a vibrant and expansive marketplace that captures the essence of local culture and commerce. Spanning narrow alleys and bustling pathways, it can be easy to lose one’s way amid the myriad of shops and stalls. The market offers a diverse array of goods, from colorful clothing and handcrafted toys to stylish footwear and intricate imitation jewelry. Each corner reveals unique treasures that reflect the rich heritage of the region. Shoppers can explore various vendors offering pure argan oil, celebrated for its culinary and cosmetic benefits. This high-quality oil is available in multiple shops, making it a must-try for visitors. Amid the shopping frenzy, small restaurants serve delicious sandwiches and refreshing juices, providing a welcome break for weary explorers. However, navigating the market requires some caution, as motorcycles often weave through the narrow lanes, adding to the lively atmosphere. Whether you’re seeking souvenirs, indulging in local flavors, or simply soaking in the sights and sounds, Medina Market promises an unforgettable experience for all who visit.
The infrastructure is well maintained and the vendors are friendly. It becomes less touristic the further in you go. The only problem is how aggressive the scooter drivers are. They are not aware of the people around them, be careful!
Went for souvenirs on the last day of our Morocco trip and got my wallet stolen. The police and locals were very helpful in chasing and identifying the thief, hence the 2 stars. We spent 2 hours making the report at the station and they gave us tea and bread. Other than the incident, prices are okay, items are okay. Just be VERY careful of pickcpockets.
We visited the market and were pleasantly surprised. So many friendly people, reasonable prices, delicious street food, and lots of beautiful things to see. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming – a perfect place to stroll around, explore, and enjoy the local vibe. Love from Norway 🇳🇴
The market is a amazing atmosphere of vendors old and new with modern and classic twists. As I walked around it was not super pressured by any vendor to enter their store and overall I felt safe enough to walk around here with no issues. It is definitely worth a visit.
"I’ve visited several Medinas in Morocco and Spain, but this one was not the best. Very dirty, with strong smells and a feeling of laziness. I only stayed a few minutes because I didn’t enjoy the Medina like I did in Marrakesh — a place I would return to a thousand times."
The Medina Market in Casablanca, Morocco, is a vibrant and bustling destination filled with local charm. The market features an array of stunning artwork, from modern portraits to traditional Moroccan scenes, showcasing the talents of local artisans. Visitors can explore numerous stalls offering colorful textiles, traditional clothing, and a variety of souvenirs. The market’s lively atmosphere is enhanced by its authentic architectural details, such as wooden latticework and traditional lanterns. A highlight is the food section, where visitors can sample local delicacies like simmering snails. Overall, the Medina Market offers a rich cultural experience that captures the essence of Moroccan life.

Otherworldly. Even without the stained glass the architecture is really impressive and very refreshing when compared to the usual cathedral styles. But the stained glass is unbelievable. Just stunning
Lovely church with beautiful stained glass windows.. not much else to see there so expect just to spend 10 mins looking around
Simplely stunning. The stained glass needs to seen in person. The photos are just the beginning.
Impressive church designed by architect Achille Dangleterre, engineer Gaston Zimmer and stained glass artist Gabriel Loire (1954-56). The church has three naves, but it is the central nave, with its super tall ceiling that defines it. All around it, stained glass windows let colorful light rays enter it and lighten and humanize an otherwise austere and industrial bare concrete scale. Outside there is a devotional grotto for Our Lady of Immaculate Conception.
Unspectacular Catholic Church built in the 1950's. It's unique since it is located in a Mslim country. #saisson
Great to find a vibrant parish in Casablanca. There's a Mary grotto outside and fantastic stained glass inside.
The Church of Notre Dame de Lourdes is a peaceful and beautiful place to visit in the heart of Casablanca. The modern architecture is striking, and the colorful stained-glass windows are absolutely stunning — they fill the entire space with light and color. It’s a quiet spot to reflect and appreciate art, history, and spirituality. Definitely worth a visit, even if you’re not religious.
This is the church I used to frequent when I was little. It feels heavenly. Most beautiful church in morocco. As a Moroccan Christian, it can sometimes be difficult to visit—the guards don’t always allow you in, and it can be a bit scary at times.

Great spot for tourists to see the Opera House and French Embassy. Buildings also have Berber written on them. Great central location to meet at the fountain.
Busy location not far from the Old Medina Markets. It comes alive around 10am. Many street vendors cater for your needs. Watch out for motorbikes on the footpath.
Great spot if you want to see the rich diversity of Casablanca, located just next to the entry of Bab Marrakesh (the medina) this place is beating like a heart pumping a million of flavors colors and joy
There are benches to sit and once you shake off the men wanting to get you in their taxis, it's a good place to people watch.
Great place to visit. The main place in the city and from here you can walk to big market, many restaurants, shops and others. Good location to be.
This is a wonderful square I've ever seen throughout my stay in Morocco; all vibrant, all vivid, and ALL DIVERSE
Busy square in the heart of the city. Plenty of seating around and seems like lot of the locals and tourists just sit around there taking breaks. Not much to see but not bad to walk by on the way to seeing other sights.
For locals, this area is a core life experience no matter what age you are, you’ll get somehow in trouble with some stranger. For tourists best to avoid rush hours mid day and late hours at night, don’t make it a stop station, there isn’t much to see anyways, if you come by “Bab Merrakech” (just few meters away from west) you can just pass by and go to Maarif, which I think you can spend the evening there and it will be much pleasant

this was fine , my church growing up was called sacred heart. nothing too exciting in the architecture but neat looking. nice cats.
I came here a few days ago and wasn't expecting an empty cathedral. Although, there was an exhibition being hosted: "Silk Road: Reflections of Splendor - Shanghai Intangible Cultural Heritage." It was very interesting to see the different artworks and learn about the historical relations between Morocco and China. The cathedral's architecture was simple, but beautiful.
we went during the hours listed on google, but the cathedral was closed and wouldn’t let us inside. there was also construction outside so we were not able to get a great view of the cathedral as a whole. probably a better experience when it’s open
Nice place to visit. A magnificent former Roman Catholic cathedral from 1930, designed in the neo-Gothic style by Paul Tournon. Next to you can relax in beautiful garden.
It was a bright sunny day so I went to see this stunning art deco building and it's Stained glass art works. When I stepped inside there was stillness, a timeless place, not solemn just peaceful. I walked around and ventured up the stairs but could not visit the balcony. The gardens surrounding the cathedral are beautiful and I was very happy to have visited this great historical building.
The Church of the Sacred Heart of Casablanca (French: Église du Sacré-Cœur de Casablanca) is a church located in Casablanca, Morocco. Wrongly known as the Cathedral of Casablanca, this designation is wrong because the church was never a cathedral where a bishop resided. After Morocco's independence in 1956 it ceased to function as a church due to the evacuation of the colonial community, but out of respect for the Christian religion it became a cultural center that maintained its distinctive European luster.
Quite a unique cathedral in design, with art deco vibe. Strangely empty and quiet. Worth a look. No need to pay for a city walking tour to see it though.

The Royal Palace in Casablanca is a true masterpiece of Moroccan architecture. Though entry is forbidden, its grandeur from the outside is awe-inspiring, showcasing intricate designs and stunning craftsmanship. Located near the Habous neighborhood, it adds a mythical charm to the area. A must-see for anyone appreciating Morocco’s rich history and architectural beauty.
Stopped here on a bus tour. Architectural details were beautiful. Could not see inside.
Nice place, but you can see only door of the palace. Is possible to take only pic, nothing more
The Place is amazing from the outside but no one can enter it unless you’re in a group visit but the outside of it is soo amazing and WOW!!
It is forbidden to visit or enter the place The Royal Palace in Casablanca is the main royal residence of the King of Morocco, which is located in the city of Casablanca, the economic capital of the Kingdom of Morocco. Located in the Habous district, this royal palace was built in the 1920s to a design by the brothers Louis Paul and Felix Joseph Bertosio, with garden landscapes designed by Jean-Claude Nicolas Forestier. This royal palace was renovated during the reign of King Hassan II by French designer Andre Packard. The Royal Palace in Casablanca is considered the second most prominent royal site in Morocco after the Royal Palace in Rabat. It has been the site of many important events, as it hosted, for example but not limited to, the Fourth Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in 1984. It was also the site of Hassan II’s meeting with Pope John Paul II. In 1985, it was the first time that a Pope visited a Muslim country at the invitation of an Islamic leader. It is worth noting here that this royal palace is not open to the public
I was looking forward to seeing the exteriors of this palace, but unfortunately it was surrounded by tall walls. It is closed off to the public. We asked the security guards a few questions and they were friendly and helpful. Apparently, only tour groups are allowed inside.
Can't go in, but totally worth walking around for photos! Very friendly gatesmen 👌

Very nice mall on the beach walk, lots shops , supermarket inside, food court . Access to the beach . We parked near movie theater 10 drh for the whole day parking .
I’ve been to ANFAPLACE Mall before and it’s always a good experience. It’s spacious with a great selection of shops and restaurants. I found exactly what I was looking for again, and the atmosphere is always perfect for a relaxed shopping trip. Definitely a spot I keep coming back to!
There's a mall for shopping, restaurants for dining, and a beach for fun. I really like this place; it's clean and safe. There's also a delicious ice cream shop. The only problem is the traffic on the street outside the mall is too heavy.
The mall itself is ok. Not many stores but not crowded either on a sunday. What i like about it is the food court. Ample seating and good selection of food outlets. They have the standard mcdonalds, kfc, and dominos. But they also have a shawarma, sushi, and oyster counter for variety. I found that the oysters were competitively priced at 10 dirhams per piece for a good sized oyster. It would compare to an 8 or 9 dirham oyster from the central marketplace in Casablanca where they have the seafood market. Bathrooms are clean too. Overall, good place to eat even though the shopping side is not much.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you’re looking for a mall that’s more fun than a camel ride in the Sahara, Anfaplace Mall is your go-to spot! From the moment I stepped in, I felt like a kid in a candy store—except instead of candy, it’s designer stores, tasty food courts, and a view that’s almost as stunning as a sunset over the Atlantic. The shops are so tempting, I had to practice some serious self-control—spoiler alert: I failed, but happily! The food court has more options than a Moroccan spice market, and I swear I gained five pounds just by smelling the deliciousness. Plus, the staff here are so friendly, I almost felt like I was visiting family—if my family was super stylish and knew all the latest trends. Oh, and did I mention the view? Watching the waves crash while shopping is basically a therapy session with a view. In short, Anfaplace Mall is the perfect blend of shopping, eating, and seaside vibes. Five stars, a hundred times over—can’t wait to go back and pretend I’m on a shopping spree instead of just window shopping!
The location of this mall is very nice, well structured and with a wonderful sea view. For me it’s more than a shopping mall it’s an experience
Such a great mall with an amazing variety of brands from premium stores to affordable options, there’s something for everyone. The place is clean, well-organized, and has a lively vibe that makes shopping here a pleasure. Perfect mix of good deals and great energy!
What a cool mall, in my opinion better than morocco mall, it has everything you need and the place it exists in is just cool, i dont have anything to add but its a must see.

Fresh seafood from the market is served! This is the best place to eat seafood in Casablanca with affordable price. Open 10 am, close 20 pm.
This is somewhat like a bit of the medina souk, enclosed in its own walls, offering well liked fish grill restaurants, fruit and vegetables as well as flowers and other such market goods. Nothing is priced?. The cafes were busy and the fish market had some high end fish and shellfish, much sought after.
The Central Market one of the most famous urban markets in Morocco with historical and cultural significance. It is located on Muhammad V Boulevard, among the colonial architecture of the 20th century. Crammed with locals, the daily market is a fascinating place for tourists to get a taste of local culture, while picking up bargains on everything from food to flowers and traditional clothing.
The best place for seafood at an amazing price. It's so fresh you can even eat oysters alive. Just be aware of scammers: they often lead you to random restaurants and serve starters you didn’t order, without any explanation. In the end, you may end up paying more for those than for your main dish.
You will find Central Marketplace in all big cities in Morocco including CasabIanca. I went there to eat fresh seafood. Fish restaurants are very clean, they offer fresh seafood only, good service, affordable prices. Fresh oysters 8-10 MAD, it is about 08-1 USD I ordered sardines for 30 MAD (about 3 USD). Sardines served with bread basket, salad, lentil porridge and lemon.
Recommend! There are lots of local guy came here as well. I came twice, the first time order in the restaurant, the second time bought the sea food myself and the restaurant responsible for cooking. The second option is better. I bought a whole crab with less than 100 mad. And the way they cook keeps the original flavor quite well.
Interesting place especially the seafood selection with a wide variety of fish including shark (I would have thought they would have been rescued and thrown back) lots of restaurants trying to get you to eat there.
This is not where you go If you’re looking for authentic place, Stockholms Prices. Branded for tourists, Priced for tourists, they chase you in street to buy from or stay at thier places. Best :Oysters and fish selections are great. Worst: the fishermens dishonest. Change prices how they want and set different price on the scale, be aware

I visited the Slaoui’s Museum and it was a great experience. The museum has a nice collection of art and artifacts, and the atmosphere is calm and inviting👏🏻 I was particularly amazed by a stunning painting 🖼️ that really caught my attention. Definitely worth checking out for art lovers.
one of the museums we love. Interesting collection of items. particularly the posters we like. highly recommend for a visit while you're in Casablanca.
I can confidently say that this is my favorite museum in Casablanca. It is located in the heart of the city, various, perfectly organized. It has a permanent exhibition in the main floor along with a temporary in the top floor. I've been here twice and wouldn't hesitate to come again.
This private collection is quite unique in the combination of exhibits brought together to form this museum. It showcases antique jewellery & antique posters, but my favourite section was the 19th century bohemian crystal boxes. I would give this place 5 stars, but all the information boards are only in Arabic & French. I think if they want to appeal to a wider international audience, they need the information in English also. Yes, there is a QR code to get an overview via an English audio description, but it's not the same, and not everyone will have a SiM card to access this or want to use up their phone battery.
I went there 26/03/2025 This is a musem that was based by Abderrahman Slaoui, Moroccan businessman and collector. Good place to visit to understand the beauty of Moroccan & Arabic cultures. Especially I love posters. NOTE: *There is a gift shop there. You can buy the copies of posters, books, bags with prints, post cards. *There is a WC. *There are places to sead down if you are tired. *Affordable prices for tickets.
Nice compact museum over 3 floors in a private villa. Clean, well displayed and guidance in 3.lang. the posters and history of the collection are very intriguing. Recommended!
This eclectic and charming private collection stole our hearts. We appreciated being thoughtfully welcomed in English by the impressively multi-lingual staff, and being offered a collection guide printed in English, as the permanent exhibition signage is in French and Arabic. The size of the permanent collection on the first and second floors, combined with a temporary exhibition on the third allows you to thoroughly experience everything without becoming fatigued as is often the case in larger museums. We were especially fond of the vintage posters in the collection and were therefore delighted to learn we could purchase postcards containing the images as well as quality art books featuring the same. A highly recommended experience in Casablanca for lovers of arts and crafts.
Remarkable collection of Moroccan (and Asian as well) art and artifacts. The exhibits provide a rich cultural experience. However, the museum's size is relatively small, so it's a quick visit.

A very nice, relaxing place to enjoy the peace and quiet in the shade of a palm tree while the noise of the traffic disappears in the background. You can also lie on the grass and it's a very family-friendly park. There is also a large area with a children's playground and many different corners for all tastes of park visitors. It is one of the very few parks in Casablanca and by far the most beautiful.
Should be on the itinerary when walking around Cassablanca.. a Quiet park and beautifully maintained . good view of Sacred Heart Cathedral

Great place to relax. A peaceful 12-hectare park with paths, open green space and play areas amidst lush gardens and trees.
Such a beautiful, neat and clean place, just walking through it or passing by really refreshes your mind and soul. There is even a fountain which adds to its beauty. It is usually visited by univ students or couples. The flora and fauna is just amazing with its variety.
Huge and well maintained park in the heart of Casablanca, full of tall trees of different kinds. I must visit place if you want to walk, peacefully and wants your eyes to be relaxed
The place is beautiful, calm, and very well maintained. It is perfect for relaxing, or enjoying time with friends. The atmosphere felt very safe.
