The Catamaran excursion for Gabriel and Flat Islands was amazing!!! The weather that day was pretty windy but the captains were very professional in navigating the waves and currents. Best part was the delicious and unlimited food and drinks! Will definitely book with them again 💙
I visited Blue Safari in Mauritius and it was an amazing experience! The lady who welcomed us gave a clear and detailed explanation of everything. The whole crew was friendly, and the submarine captain was polite and calm — he explained everything we saw underwater. We spotted dolphins, a turtle, and many types of fish. The underwater ride lasted around 45 minutes, and the whole experience took about 1 hour and 10 minutes. Highly recommended if you’re looking for something unique and refreshing!
We visited Blue Safari Submarines with our family and had an absolutely wonderful time. The logistics were smooth from the start. Parking was easy; they have space for a few cars inside and plenty of parking available just outside their premises. The team was professional and ran the entire process efficiently. We were given an initial briefing before a ferry took us out to the main platform. There, we received a second, clear briefing on the dos and don'ts before boarding the submarine one by one. The submarine itself seats ten passengers plus the captain. While it is a small space (as expected!), we didn't find it to be uncomfortable at all. The dive reaches a maximum depth of 35 meters and the view is spectacular. We were thrilled to watch the vibrant undersea life, including beautiful corals, schools of fish, and a few turtles, and also got a close look at a shipwreck. To top it all off, they provide a certificate confirming that you've made the dive in a real submarine—a great souvenir! The entire Blue Safari team was highly professional and helpful, and all instructions were very clear. We felt completely safe throughout the whole trip and would recommend this as a safe and unique experience for both adults and children. A must-do!
The submarine tour didn’t meet my expectations — perhaps I was expecting too much. I couldn’t see colorful corals or fish; everything looked mostly blue, white, and a bit blurry. Maybe the glass windows weren’t very clean. It was my first experience, though, so overall I still felt it was a worthwhile trip.
A Truly Relaxing and Memorable Experience with Blue Safari’s Southern Catamaran Cruise Blue Safari’s Southern Catamaran Cruise was the perfect blend of leisure, scenic beauty, and top-notch hospitality. From start to finish, everything was exceptionally well-organized. The online booking process was smooth and hassle-free, and the booking team patiently answered all my queries over WhatsApp—something I truly appreciated. On the day of the cruise, we were warmly welcomed by the Blue Safari team at Pointe des Régates in Mahébourg. A quick speedboat transfer brought us to the beautiful catamaran, where our journey began at 9:30 AM. We were greeted with a cheerful welcome and a helpful tour briefing by our lovely host, Rose. The cruise was led by Captain Jack and his wonderful four-member crew, who ensured we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout. We were a small, friendly group—two families and a few couples—which made the experience feel even more personal. Our first stop was a snorkelling session, and I was thrilled to see my daughter try it for the first time. The crew was incredibly encouraging and made the moment extra special. As we sailed through the stunning blue-green waters, drinks flowed freely, and we found ourselves completely immersed in the tranquillity of the sea. Rose shared interesting facts about the nearby lighthouse and surroundings, adding a thoughtful touch to the journey. Next, we hopped on a speedboat to visit the breathtaking GRSE waterfall—a highlight of the trip. Back on the catamaran, we were treated to a delicious barbecue lunch. Relaxing on the deck with the sea breeze and panoramic views was simply mesmerising. By 2 PM, we reached the picturesque Île aux Cerfs, where we enjoyed a refreshing swim in the shallow turquoise waters. The island was well-equipped with facilities like showers, changing rooms, beach chairs, and cozy shack restaurants. After an hour of island time, we returned to the catamaran for a delightful tea and coffee session accompanied by freshly baked cake and soft background music. As rain clouds began to roll in, the team ensured we got back to the starting point safely by 4 PM. Every aspect of the cruise was thoughtfully planned and executed. A special thanks to Rose, whose warmth and hospitality made us feel completely at home. This was truly an experience of a lifetime—spending quality time with family, disconnected from the digital world, surrounded by serene waters and breathtaking views. Highly recommend this day cruise if you’re visiting Mauritius! Be sure to check their website for more cruise options based on your location—there’s something for everyone.
Very expensive for the type of experience. It's not worth more than 2000-3000 rupees/ person. Speaker system inside the submarine is useless, all one hears is mumbling from the pilot steering and posing as a tour guide. Otherwise one gets a short shuttle boat ride to the submarine. Shipwreck can be viewed. The experience is recommended but negotiate for the right price.
We did underwater submarine. What an amazing experience. The pilot Damien was brilliant trying his best to give us the best experience . I have read some reviews commenting on it being expensive. Maintaining and running the submarine is expensive itself.
Fantastic submarine trip. We were lucky enough to see turtles and a stingray. All the staff were really knowledgeable and helpful.

Simply the best beach on the island. Clear crystal waters, great for snorkelling and swimming, plus a superb white sand beach which goes on for miles. There are toilets and a few restaurants dotted about, as well as a supermarket in walking distance. Its only slight downfall is the lack of parking.
Free parking with access to the beach , along with shower and toilet facilities . Lots of parking , not aware of any security issues , and feels very safe . Access to the sea is simple and safe , be aware of the power boats , local fisherman and tourist cruisers - when swimming alway be aware of your surroundings ( speeds of these boats leaves no room for error if they do not see you ).
Maybe the most beautiful beach on west side of island. In front of resort Beachcomber is the best part, not here where is this pin-it is local parking place with street food. Also, there are few snorkeling spots in front of resort where are pins in the sea - very nice underwater world with lot of different fish..
Beautiful beach with public access. Each beach seems to have a care taker that looks after the toilets and beach area making it very clean. Good car parking area.
Favourite snorkel spot, right down the south end (park opposite dive spirit or near popo supermarket). Good variety just off shore, no boat trips necessary. You can swim to where they go in 2 mins. Crowded in the central part of the beach near car park. Wear water shoes and it's chilly in August
The best beach I've ever been on. White sand, crystal clear water and perfect at sunset.
Trou aux Biches is a paradise in every sense of the word. Beyond the beauty of the setting, what made our stay unforgettable was the extraordinary service and care from the staff and management team. Every interaction was filled with a warmth and attentiveness that surpassed our expectations. Special thanks to Rambo at the beach bar, who spoiled us with such warmth and generosity. He made every moment by the beach even more special. Our butler Ibrahim went above and beyond to make us feel at home; his attention to detail and kindness truly elevated our stay. The management team made us feel like valued guests at every step, treating us with such attentiveness and care that we left feeling completely spoiled and cherished. The food was superb, the hospitality unmatched and the memories we made at Trou aux Biches will stay with us forever. This was an experience we will never forget, and we cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.
Trou aux Biches Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Mauritius. The water is crystal clear and calm, perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The white sandy shore is clean and great for relaxing with family. It’s an ideal spot for a peaceful beach day with stunning sunsets.

Great experience. We were snorkeling and all the others were divers. Equipment was provided by the staff. People spoke mainly french and just a little english. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

Nice diving center. The instructors Donavan & James were awesome, especially Donavan as he was so patient with me and making sure I do every skill right.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Exceptional Diving Experience – Highest Recommendation! Today I had the pleasure of joining a beginner diving session with ProDive Mauritius, and I cannot express enough how truly outstanding the entire experience was. My instructor, Donovan, turned what I expected to be a simple dive into an unforgettable adventure. Having dived before and with some previous experience, I can confidently say that this was by far the best instruction and service I have ever received. Donovan was not only highly professional but also deeply dedicated to ensuring that every single detail was explained clearly and thoroughly. Before heading into the water, we went through practical exercises where he carefully made sure each participant fully understood and mastered every skill — no detail was overlooked. Throughout the entire dive, Donovan remained extremely patient, kind, positive, and encouraging, creating an environment where I felt completely safe, supported, and confident. It was clear that he is not just an instructor — he is truly passionate about what he does. There are many diving centers on the island, but I can confidently say that ProDive Mauritius stands out by far. The quality of service, professionalism, and personal care they provide is worth every single cent. This experience left a lasting impression on me, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone — from complete beginners to more experienced divers. Thank you, Donovan and ProDive Mauritius, for such a remarkable and inspiring experience!
I am very happy that out of many, many diving centers I decided to dive with Pro Dive. Staff is very friendly and chill and you can see they work as a great team. Everything is coordinated, on time and easy going. Diving gear is kept in perfect condition and there is a large selection to choose from. Special thanks to Aisha, Donovan and especially to our divemaster James. I've been diving with many instructors but James is simply on a different level. Very professional, yet friendly and relaxed. Takes time to explain everything and does it in an excelent way. Throughout the two diving courses me and my partner done there wasn't a single moment when we felt uncofortable in any way. We've had some of the best diving experiences of our lifes! Do not miss out on a night dive - it is spectacular.
For reference, I'm divemaster (trained totally in the UK), have dived in multiple places around the world and 3 liveaboards completed. I feel I have enough experience to know a bit of what I'm talking about lol. Anyway, for the review. There's a friendly atmosphere at the centre. The boat is docked pretty much across the road from the shop. The number of divers on the boat was acceptable, maybe 6 divers. The company listened to what I was requesting on the morning for our first trip and picked dive sites to line up to my wishes which is definitely appreciated. There were a few negative points though. 1. Ahead of arriving to Mauritius I mentioned multiple times of my desire to dive at Coin de Mire. I was told it can be done with minimum 5 divers on the boat (which seems highly likely as the dive centre is busy). However when I arrived and mentioned this in person the staff seems very vague. I asked them to contact me to organise a trip however after a few days I didn't hear anything and realised that there probably wasn't going to be any proactive arrangement. This led me to change my diving to Crystal Divers who go regularly. I wish pro divers had been more upfront with me that they probably wouldn't dive there as I feel like a wasted a few days hanging on for them to organise. 2. This is quite a DIY style operation, as in you put your own kit together and change your own cylinders. Crystal Divers did all this for us. 3. No boat safety briefing. 4. Last minute and minimal dive briefing, done with 3 lead weights. Don't think there was anything about safety procedures in it. 5. The ascent is started when you hit 50 bar. It's recommended by PADI to have 50 bar spare when you're at the surface. All in all, they were ok. Would i recommend them to my dive friends at home, probably not.
This is a warm and welcoming dive centre with great staff. We spent a week diving locally and both James and Donovan displayed the highest level of skill and knowledge guiding us to some outstanding wildlife and around the wrecks. This was our first experience of diving in Mauritius (being more used to Egypt or Maldives) but the experience was very pleasant and there were a whole variety of Indian Ocean creatures to see and photograph.
This is my second time visiting and diving with Prodive. I did a refresher course and two dives and it was such a great experience. Donovan was our Dive Master and was clear and concise when conducting our refresher and dive, he also took pictures for us underwater and was prompt at sending them through that same day of the dive. If I come back to Mauritius, I will definitely be going with Prodive again!
Amazing experience with ProDive! Great value, everything explained clearly so you feel safe at all times. Super personal, no tourist mass treatment. Very professional underwater – just awesome!
I recently went to Mauritius with the sole purpose of diving as many of the wrecks that I could whilst circumnavigating the island on an extended vacation. I started in the south, near the airport, with the 1805 wreck of HMS Sirius. And then we made our way around the island to Grand Baie in the north. The vast majority of the wrecks are located in this area. I did a great deal of research prior to flying out and I contacted a number of dive centres to discuss my specific requirements. Ideally I wanted to avoid large groups and have my own guide, primarily to allow me to photograph the wrecks for a number of articles and publications. I found one or two of the so-called bigger dive centres to be extremely unhelpful and, frankly, arrogant. One in particular comes to mind and I suspect it will shortly go the same way as its namesake! Fortunately, my wasted time with that dive centre led me to investigate further and I came across Pro Dive Mauritius, and I’m absolutely delighted that we did. Pro Dive Mauritius went above and beyond in their efforts to accommodate me and to ensure that I got to dive all the wrecks that I had picked out. They also advised me of a couple of additional sites that my research had failed to reveal, so that was a real bonus! The diving operation was 1st class. My dedicated guide, James, was an experienced diver and knew the sites well. The centre recognised that I too, was an experienced diver and allowed me to do the dives I wanted to do without any restrictions beyond those imposed by my training. As long as I dived within my certification I could plan and execute the dives that I wanted to do. I was not limited to 30 mtrs or 60 minutes. Consequently I was able to engage in longer, decompression, technical diving that found me at depths in the region of 40-60 mtrs and lasting, on average, about 90 minutes. And whilst I’m qualified to dive deeper, there was no requirement or desire to do so, I’ve nothing to prove, I just wanted to enjoy the awesome wrecks that Mauritius has to offer. And that, I certainly did… thanks to Pro Dive Mauritius. The dive centre provided me with all of the additional equipment that I needed, stages etc, whilst my primary sidemount kit was all my own. I also used their cylinders and weights. I was charged a very reasonable fee per dive, I was not treated as a money-making opportunity nor was I financially exploited in any way. In fact the dive centre took the view that it would be as much fun for them as it was for me, and would make for a great change in their normal routine. I had an absolute blast diving the Mauritian shipwrecks with James and Pro Dive Mauritius. They ensured that this diving expedition was everything I wanted and more. I got to explore every wreck, in detail, for as long as I had planned and I got every shot that I needed, and more. The experience was one of my best, I plan to return, with a larger group and have already referred another group of 12 to them. I would not hesitate in recommending Pro Dive Mauritius and, when it comes to the north, I wouldn’t consider using anyone else!

I recently had the chance to experience a Discovery Scuba Dive with Dive Dream Divers, and it was an absolutely amazing adventure! As a first-timer, I was nervous, but the experience exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived at Dive Dream Divers, the staff was welcoming and professional. They took the time to explain everything thoroughly and made sure I felt comfortable before my first dive. The instructors were friendly, patient, and reassuring, which helped ease my nerves. They answered all my questions and explained the equipment and the dive process in a clear and easy-to-understand way. Highly recommended 😉
An example how experiences can be different. We had 1 dive and have been gone for 5 hours. We did have unfortunately not the best experience here. We booked the discovery dive. We not only had to wait for 1 hour at the center without anyone talking either us or managing expectations. Afterwards we did go into the “pool” in the lagoon and had some practice. Friendly colleague that did will explaining us the details (to be fair). Afterwards we waited another hour before we could go on the boat to the dive location. After getting on the boat we did start the dive. I had a bad experience here as the diving instructor was very impatient and rude after 1 try to start the descending. He asked “I need to know now if you can take the dive, otherwise please go back on the boat”. For someone having their first dive not the best experience. I managed to descend and had the dive. Afterwards we were waiting yet for another 50 minutes for the other people on the boat who did have another dive. In total a too expensive and not well organized session. We went to the other diving schools in the area afterwards to do the open water diver license
When the world’s highest diving authority, PADI bans both a centre and its instructor, it’s not just a red flag, it’s a full-scale siren screaming: You. Are. Not. Safe. This is the only diving centre and instructor in the entire continent of Africa to be banned. One of only 39 in the world. Out of thousands of dive operators in the world, this one stood out, for all the horrifying reasons. Choose your safety first instead of converging them towards this diving centre. A passionate diver who cares about this beautiful sport.
CON ARTISTS! 9 Years later and still waiting on mine and my brothers PADI. Had a fantastic experience doing it all, seeing amazing dive sites and learning properly everything! As you would expect with doing the exams and tests. (Glad now everything is on the app.) They waited for us to leave the country, by continually saying they would do it by tomorrow and never processed our application to PADI. Which as nothing came through, they never paid our padi fee. This diving centre needs to be closed down and BANNED from PADI. Looks like it isn't the first time they have done this to tourists looking at reviews on Google and other review sites. Beware people!
Amazing service, beautiful dives. 10/10 instructors. One of the best diving centres I have seen in Mauritius.
The best diving school. My brother did his OWD here and I did the nitrox. In general nitrox was free here and included which was amazing. Super nice people and a good vibe. Would recommend this school to anyone!! Thank you!
Wonderful and lifetime experience ! The instructors are highly professional and they'll ensure to make you comfortable before/during the diving...Big kudos to Mr Neyson 😊 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!
The most unsafe and unprofessional dive center I’ve ever seen. Uncleaned equipment with the cigarette breath smell of the previous customer, zero safety standards, and careless staff who clearly put money above lives. It’s no surprise this place was banned. it should have been shut down long ago. Avoid at all costs.

This was my first time visiting Mauritius and also my very first diving experience, so I was naturally a little nervous at the start. From the moment I arrived, the staff at Dive Spirit Mauritius made me feel completely at ease. They are not only professional and welcoming but also extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of diving. They took the time to carefully explain everything I needed to know, from how the equipment works to what to expect underwater. The lesson began in the pool, which was a great way to get comfortable with the gear before heading out to the ocean. Once in the sea, I felt well-prepared and confident thanks to their guidance. What stood out to me most was the emphasis they placed on safety and on caring for the ocean environment. I really appreciated learning how to enjoy diving responsibly while respecting and protecting marine life. I would thoroughly recommend Dive Spirit Mauritius to anyone—whether you’re completely new to diving, like I was, or simply looking for a refresher. It was an unforgettable experience, and I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to diving!
A small but great dive shop with sweet and engaged staff, high level of security and a lot of nice dive spots. I’ve been to Mauritius twice and done 26 dives with this shop and I’ve felt more than welcome every time. I’d recommend them to anyone! Miss you guys ❤️
I had such an amazing time doing my first ever scuba dive with Dive Spirit! I don’t remember his name, but my instructor had curly hair and was just the best. He made me feel super comfortable, guided me through deep diving, and showed me some incredible underwater views. He really went the extra mile to make the experience special and fun. I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to scuba diving. Thank you for such a memorable adventure — highly recommend Dive Spirit!
Incredible experience diving with this lovely team. I hadn't been diving in a while, but I had a refresher with Karen and an amazing dive after. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. They were friendly, professional and super chilled from start to finish... They also make it a priority to keep you warm which I really appreciated!! I would personally like to thank Karen for being such a kind, patient and all round lovely diving buddy, she made me feel so comfortable throughout. She spotted some incredible marine life including an octopus, turtles and some real rarities. As I said, highly recommend Dive Spirit. They're brilliant!! Thank you very much!
I just did my open water PADI certificate here and it was the best experience I could’ve possibly asked for! The whole team is so kind, helpful and very knowledgeable. Christelle, who works at the reception always greeted me with a wonderful smile, she really has a great energy which is wonderful to arrive to when feeling a bit nervous. Fabrice was my diving teacher and he was also amazing, very patient, kind and a great teacher. He also had a great energy and smiley. I found the mask clearing exercises quite hard but his support definitely made it much more bearable. He helped me spot out so much beautiful underwater life during our dives! We saw turtles, a sing ray and even some dolphins! 🥺 I couldn’t have asked for a better teacher! I did another dive after getting my certificate, with Thierry this time, who was of course also great and very friendly. During the dive we saw so many turtles it was really special! I also wanted to highlight all the other teachers I met, the skipper and the man who helps load the equipment to the boat, who all contributed to making the experience perfect. I will never forget this experience, not only as it was my first time diving, but also because of the amazing team. I will 100% continue to come diving here and can’t wait to come back next time I am in the area! Thank you to the whole team for everything! <3
I did the Open Water dive course here and I couldn’t recommend it enough. You’re made very welcome by the whole centre, everyone is so kind and it’s a great environment. As for the course itself, our instructor Charlene was just amazing and made the learning feel comfortable, safe and fun. Thank you Charlene and the whole centre!
We had our first ever experience of diving with Dive Spirit Mauritius on a recent holiday and it was the highlight of an incredible trip. We did the PADI disciver scuba diving experience with some time in the pool getting used to the equipment and skills then a Dive in the ocean which was just the most incredible experience seeing beautiful coral reefs and loads of great fish! Our instructor Taz was brilliant putting us right at ease explaining everything really clearly and making sure we had a great experience. She also took some amazing photos. I am now obsessed with scuba diving and am looking to get my open water certification on my next trip.
Great, friendly sized centre with lovely staff. Everything made really easy. Local pick ups possible, 2 dives a day, really short boat rides and return to centre in-between. Small groups matched to abilities, really nice instructors. Superb value at 2000 MUR per dive, extra 1000 for refresher dive. Got me confident and comfortable after a 10 year break.

The entire dive team was so professional and fun! They seemed more like family than coworkers. I felt super safe while exploring the breathtaking Mauritian underwater life! Everyone took such great care of all of the divers each day! I even got some amazing pictures from Loïc! Merci beaucoup Jordan, Loïc, Damien, Loic, Esther, Joe, Annecy, Sahil, Stephane, Nelson, and Ludovic! 🤙🏽
We had such an incredible time with Bigorno Diving Center Mauritius! My 10-year-old daughter did her Open Water Diver course here, and honestly, I can’t imagine a better place for her very first diving experience. From the very beginning, the team made us feel welcome, safe, and completely at ease. A very special thanks goes to Dive Master Loïc Henry – he was absolutely amazing with my daughter! So patient, professional, and encouraging, while at the same time making everything fun and exciting. She felt confident in the water right away and managed every exercise without stress. Thanks to the wonderful support she received, she not only passed her course with flying colors but also discovered a true passion for diving. We are beyond happy with the experience for the whole family and would recommend Bigorno Diving Center to anyone – whether it’s your first dive or your hundredth, you’ll be in the best hands here.
Great staff, great equipment, great diving. These guys know what they're doing and they are both friendly and professional about it. Highly recommended for both amateurs and experienced divers wanting to explore the nearby reefs.
An absolutely unique diving experience and definitely the highlight of our holiday in Mauritius. Bigorno Diving Center was full of a friendly atmosphere; all the instructors were very kind, helpful, friendly, experienced, and, as a bonus, a lot of fun to be around. Every day was perfectly organized, and everything went smoothly. If we ever return to Mauritius, visiting this diving center will definitely be a must! A special thanks goes to the instructors Jordan and Loïc, who were absolutely amazing buddies, thank you guys!
I got my PADI open water certificate, and it was an experience of a lifetime. The staff is very friendly and helpful and fun ! Especially David and yans, they were our instructors at the beginning of the course and our friends at the end. If i was in mauritius and i wanted to continue my diving training or just dive for fun, I'll sure go to bigorno diving center love from saudi 🇲🇺❤️🇸🇦 🙏
Did a refresher course and 2 more dives with Bigorno. Every instructor made me feel super welcomed and well taken care of. They remember your name and are very observant. We saw octopus, turtle, stonefish, moray eels and many colourful fish. I would definitely come back!
I arrived at this diving center absolutely terrified of the ocean. I was determined to overcome my fear after several attempts and I wasn’t sure it would ever happen. Then I called Jordan, the manager, who reassured me over the phone, reminding me that many people feel the same and that my fear was normal. On the day of the dive, Joe, my dive master, was waiting for me on the boat. From the moment he introduced himself I felt safe. His calm energy, the way he listened and how genuinely he made me feel heard took my fear away. I trusted him completely. We went on a dive that turned out to be truly beautiful, the time flew by and I even found myself enjoying every moment. I had a scuba diver license but until that moment I was only focused on myself and my fears but Joe taught me how to trust myself and appreciate the beauty of the ocean. It was fun, meaningful and unforgettable. Thank you Joe! 100% recommended!
Just finished the last of 10 dives booked with the Bigorno Dive Centre. I've got to say it was a fantastic experience throughout. A very relaxed and chilled out atmosphere whilst at the same time keeping a professional approach to the dive both when on the surface and during the dives. Although I used my own kit the centre kit was well looked after and maintained The dives were all really enjoyable and I felt safe at all times. I would like to thank the whole team for a fantastic experience and some good fun. THANKS GUYS. Definitely recommend if you want a professional and fun dive in Mauritius

What an amazing experience with Captain Mimi.and team today. Merci a tous for making us feel safe to enjoy this first dive with our young people. Love the approach of the team. Welcoming. Honest. Friendly. Planning a second dive with Capt Mimi and team.
The 3 of them (it's a family-run business) are really kind and nice and I think that's why most of the reviews are 5-star, but it's all misleading. I enjoyed the people but the equipment and organization is out of date to speak nicely. It feels a bit mom and pop and although I'm an experience diver, I experienced headaches after my first dive, due to the poor quality of air in the tank. The dive site with the wreck was fine, and it's close to shore so you don't waste a ton of time on the boat, but it just doesn't feel very safe overall. If you've never dove or are a beginner, I would not recommend this place.
It was very good and the whole crew is ❤️‍🔥
Amazing diving with local legends. If you want to get the full Trou aux Biches experience dive with Johnny and Jacqui.
I went to Captain's Mimi for my first dive and it was a great experience. Jeremie and Johnny are experienced instructors who clearly explained each and every step in the training. They were attentive and patient and mindful of the environment and aquatic life. Affordable costing.
I had an amazing experience at Captain Mimi's Diving Centre thanks to the wonderful instructors! Johnny and Jeremie made my first diving experience unforgettable. They were knowledgeable, patient, and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. I highly recommend this centre to anyone looking to explore the underwater world!
I had an amazing experience completing my BSAC Sports Diver training with Chris at Captain Mimi's Diving Centre! The dives were nothing short of breathtaking, and I had an overall fantastic time exploring the underwater world with Captain Mimi's team. Highly recommended for anyone looking to dive and learn in a welcoming and professional environment!
I completed my BSAC Dive Leader course with the friendly crew at Captain Mimi’s Dive Centre recently, and would recommend them highly. Father Johnny Alexandre was in his own words ‘born in the water’ and has a lifetime of experience diving the many exceptional sites Trou aux Biches offers. His son Jeremie has taken on this knowledge, and handled bookings and logistics with cheerful efficiency; he is also an excellent underwater photographer, and his work contributes greatly to the Centre’s website. Coxswain Jacky has years of experience in pinpointing dive sites exactly, and is always ready to help newer divers with equipment. Special mention must also go to BSAC instructor Chris, who maintained BSAC’s high standards throughout my course: he is a gifted, committed teacher who is happy to pass on his wealth of experience. I also observed the Centre taking out a group of new divers, and was impressed with the careful preparation and handling in the water, making the ‘diving baptism’ safe and enjoyable. Throughout my two weeks with the Centre, I felt amongst friends: they are fine, trustworthy people with the experience to enhance the many wonders Mauritius has to offer below the water, as well as being excellent company on the boat and between dives.

I love these ladies. Their attitude to work is exemplary. I used to think ladies don't work well together but they are an exception to the rule. Very good service delivery. You will naturally feel that they are part owners of the business.
The office’s staff was friendly, but the tour’s staff left much to be desired. I took the daily tour with the boat. The trip was not bad but rather long and boating, we were dropped to the island and had just 1 hour there. That is not the worst part, the trip itself was not really bad, but the boats staff was rude and nervous for non-French people, they communicate and announce just with French speaking in French and don’t care About other, they literally ignore you and you have to run to them to get some service, even if they find enough “power” to start to respond you, they do it aggressively “Whaaaaaaaatttttt?!?” . I don’t advice trip to anybody, these people don’t deserve euro they so dream about.
Monalysa Tour Operator is good to book your trip or accommodation. Located at Grand Bay, near to the beaches in the North of the Island. We get good advice from the owner. We booked a studio for 2 persons. Very nice place. And did the Catamaran Cruise around - Ile aux Cerfs. We also booked a transfer with Monalysa from Grand Baie to Flic en Flac with an option for siteseeing on the way.
Very rude and apathetic customer service. Many better providers in GB
Terrible: Dont go here, tour staff let 7 customers in a isolated island and did not inform us in advance when we would be picked up. Office staff declared to have received less money in advance that I provided: be cautious and as for receipt always :(
I was here for about 5 days. The staff were curteous and helpful. The place was neat and decent. I look forward to going there again. In fact, I am planning to take a tour group to spend time there
Best excursions in my life with Monalysa Tours
Exelent service and accommodation. Highly recommend.
