We had a lovely time at Oistins. We ate at Baba Delights. Our waitress was excellent really nice young lady. The food was very good, we were a party of 6.
Local market with a local vibe, local food, local music and much love. Food from Pat's place just the best, great flavours, plenty food cooked right in front of you, get there well before 18.00 to miss the long, long queues. 2 hours wait, was it worth it? Absolutely. Friday night is the night to be visit and enjoy the great music and electric atmosphere.
Oistins was so much fun. The Friday Fish Fry was everything. The food was amazing. I ate at Dora and Jazzies and my husband ate at Angela's. At Dora and Jazzies the rice and peas, wedge potatoes, coleslaw and shrimp were so delicious. My husband does not eat seafood so thankfully Angela's had chicken kabobs. But he shared my rice and peas and potatoes. I think our food was better than the places with long lines. The entertainment on the stage was great and fun. The vendors selling souvenirs had decent prices.
The was a fantastic experience. A bit pricey but worth the experience. The service was ok. The food was fresh and cooked to order. It was delicious. The beach was nice. The DJ's and entertainment was great. I highly recommend.
A must see when you are on island. Friday nights are the best. Food choices are open here. We ate at two different shops and wow food was never disappointed. Would highly recommend Moe's and Uncle George.
Fridays at the fish market things are jumping! Along with the usual booths selling fish dinners with all the fixings there are vendors selling trinkets and souvenirs. We chose to eat at Yvonne's, having the tuna and sword fish. Both were fantastic.
It's not over rated and food didn't live up to expectations. The hygiene standards were poor. But a lot of nice stalls about to souvenir shop. Nice to have a drink at and the beach was lovely.
Fish Fry Friday in Oistins. If you want food this is the place. Remember the portions are large and can serve two. We went for the performances, the live music, and just the vibe. Always such a nice time. If you know where you are going you good, if you don't just walk around there are so many vendors offering so many things you will not be disappointed.

We took a surfing lesson today with Body. For me, it was my first experience and it was fantastic. Body is patient and makes sure that everyone understands and masters the techniques. I am 53 years old and I was not sure of my surfing abilities… I succeeded on my third attempt. Body’s encouragement helped me a lot. Thank you and I highly recommend the 2 hours of surfing with him.
Amazing First Surfing Experience! I went surfing today with a friend, and it was our first time ever — what an incredible experience! Our instructor Bodie and his assistant Christine were absolutely amazing. They were so encouraging, patient, and positive throughout the whole lesson. Thanks to their support and guidance, we both managed to stand up on the board — something we didn’t think would happen on our first try! Their energy, professionalism, and genuine passion for what they do really stood out. Highly recommended to anyone looking to try surfing, no matter your level. Great vibes, great people — truly an experience to remember!
Amazing experience for my 13 year old twin daughters, surfing among turtles in crystal clear waters. Bodie isn't just your run of the mill surf school (just get'em a wave approach) he was coaching my girls to be better surfers, and after two amazing sessions it really showed.
Incredible surfing lesson experience, only our first/second lesson surfing and Andre was the best teacher. The waves weren't too big and we even got to see some sea turtles! Bodie was easy to chat with over WhatsApp, who we booked our lesson with and very accommodating when we had to reschedule. Thanks guys!
Bodie is an exceptional instructor! I have taken surf lessons before in Costa Rica and some windsurfing classes in Mediterranean, but Bodie is by far the best instructor I’ve had. He not only explains the techniques in detail but also breaks down what went wrong and how to correct it, I truly saw the improved after every class! Highly recommend to anyone looking to surf and truly advance their skills. Thanks, Bodie! We are coming back to Barbados to continue learning from you! 🙏
We booked three surf lessons with Bodie during our week in Barbados, and honestly — they were the best coaching sessions we’ve ever had. We’re a couple who’ve been surfing for about 3.5 years, and between us we’ve worked with coaches in a few different countries. Without question, Bodie was a level above the rest. A lot of surf coaches have that slightly… "free-spirited" approach to organisation and communication, but Bodie couldn’t have been further from that stereotype. He was clear, responsive, reliable, and made everything incredibly easy. A perfect example: we’d first been in touch months before the trip, and nearer the time - before I even had the chance to touch base with him again - he reached out to us to lock in our lesson times based on the forecast. It immediately put me at ease and made it clear that this guy genuinely has his shit together. Across the three sessions, he pushed us in exactly the right ways. Conditions weren’t ideal that week, but he handled them brilliantly - taking us to three different spots, explaining why each one would work, and getting the absolute most out of every session. His coaching style is exactly what you want as a progressing surfer: he understood where we were in our surfing, spotted tiny habits we didn’t even realise we had, and tailored each session to us rather than following some sort of “surf school script”. He watched every wave, called out adjustments mid-ride, and gave specific feedback the second we paddled back out. I’ve been hearing “weight on the back foot!” and “don’t look at your board!” in my sleep. He was also really in tune with us. I was nervous about surfing the two new breaks that he took us to - and he clocked it immediately. Within minutes he’d eased the nerves, explained everything clearly, and genuinely made me feel safe and capable. No judgement, no fuss, no blow back - just calm, grounded coaching. On our request, he organised land-based filming for all our lessons too. Such a bonus - brilliant for learning, and an even better souvenir when you’re usually surfing in a 5 mm wetsuit in brown water back home. And by the way… he’s not just a great coach. The man can seriously surf. Watching him take a wave properly was like a free masterclass on its own. There are loads of surf schools in Barbados that can give you a fun “surfing experience”, but if you actually want to progress, build sharper technique, level up, or even learn to ride proper waves for the very first time, Bodie is the one. I would gladly (and proactively!) recommend Bodie as a surf coach to anyone, and if I end up back in Barbados, I’d absolutely book with him again — which is all the recommendation you need, really.
100/10 recommend surfing with Bodie! He made it fun and accessible for a first timer. Bodie is clearly very knowledgeable about surfing and able to communicate well as a teacher. He is very kind and welcoming both in the bay and wants to make sure you enjoy the island as a whole! Would recommend to ANYone who wants to have some fun!
I am a person terrified of waves and yet I rode a wave in lesson 1. It wouldn't have been possible without Bodie. What an amazing teacher! There might be a lot of teachers out there with a well of knowledge but what sets Bodie apart is his uncanny ability to guide his students, with his crystal clear instructions, his astute observation and attention to details, his insights into what each student needs, his absolute joie de vivre and a great sense of humor. The lesson was an absolute blast! I once read that a good coach is someone who lends you confidence until you can build up your own. Thank you, Bodie, for lending me your confidence! I will definitely return to this school!

Awesome beach. The parking here is a bit limited but we always found a parking place. You can rent sun beds and umbrellas for only 30 BBD. If you don’t want to pay for those you can always find a shadow close to the beach. It’s one of few beaches where is a free shower and toilet. We were there multiple times and it was never too crowded.
Lovely beach. A few different food trucks and a bar. There is a public bathroom open until 5 pm One side of the beach has sunbeds for rent and on the other side you'll find more locals, specially during the beautiful sunset. They'll kick you off the sunbeds at 5 pm sharp though. I find it that other beaches mer you linger a bit longer
Not much to say. One rougher side and one gentle side. Played in both and enjoyed. Lots of locals on the calmer side and also some games on the beach. Lovely calm peaceful atmosphere. Outdoor showers as well and parking on the streets.
Came here a few times, I found so long as you're here before lunch you can find a good spot. The beach can get a little busy, but never as crowded as what I'm used to back in the US. Great food trucks, and drink vendors near the entrance, but no one comes and bothers you while you're sunbathing, which is great!
We liked the most Miami Beach, you can take an umbrella and sunbeds, or not. The price is 15 US dollars, which is less than everywhere. Usually it’s 25$ US. There are few bars, free showers and eco toilets. It’s near by the port, as well. And was the only beach where I saw lifeguards.
Beautiful beach in Barbados, one of our favourite but watch out for the waves as they can get pretty big 🏝🌊🌊🌊
I loved the beach but I give it a 4 because there are lots of small rocks in the sea at the very entrance of the sea and the waves were naughty on this beach so I left in 2 hours. It is beautiful though. It was in November 2024.
There’s everything you need: washrooms, shade, food, drinks, free spots to relax on the sand. Waves might be a bit too high when windy. Parking is available. Benches and tables.

Right on the beach, delicious food and the waiters are very friendly and kind. We had fried calamari, cheese macaroni, breadfruit chips and flying fish. They all tasted really good! I can’t pick a favorite! Highly recommend it!
Perfect place with draught beer on the beach ! A great spot right by the beach with perfect draught beer and stunning views. The staff are friendly, and the location couldn’t be better—just steps away from the shore.
I had luch here yesterday with a friend and it was great. We sat out on the sand facing the water and what a great view. Food and service was great. The young lady who served us did a really good job. Highly recommend if you're looking for evening drinks or just a spot for lunch or to chill.
Lovely atmosphere, great food and good service, Carleen was friendly and very efficient. We will definitely be back.
Spent a wonderful couple of hours here with the kids, grazing on various small plates and drinking a few of their namesake lagers. A couple of favourites from the menu were the Pork Bites and Bajan fishcakes. The service was excellent, and they helped me get a taxi when it was time to leave, too. Highly recommend this place - and it goes without saying that the beach is absolutely beautiful!
GREAT location, right on the beach. Service is friendly and efficient. The food is cooked very well and tastes great. Prices are very affordable. There is a DJ with music at a level where you can still converse and a lively late night bar scene. Great place for singles, couples, or families with children young and old.
The Buljol is a must! The Chef here is creative and everything is delicious! 10 stars! Did I mention the view.
This is such a lovely place. I stayed here all day working on my dissertation and it's definitely popular with tourist and families as a lot of different groups came through and one big group was actually there before I came and wasn't gone when I left! The food was really good - I got the buljol, which was super delicious, and a small pizza which was also pretty good. The tomato sauce tasted a bit sweet for me but it's definitely one of the best pizzas I've had here so far (altho most pizza places have been bad so take that as you will.) Prices for food and drinks were very reasonable and the staff were so lovely and attentive. Particularly a waitress with short hair and a bartender who I think had a dreaded ponytail. I didn't catch either of their names but they were both so so nice and friendly. 100% recommend this place. Will definitely be back if I can!

Look at all the reviews for Mario. They can't all be wrong, and they're certainly too detailed to be written by him or any other person. I took Mario's trip and it was the best thing I did on Barbados island. His vehicle is ideal for touring. He is so knowledgeable about Barbados. I needn't say anymore - if you visit Barbados TAKE THIS TRIP - and enjoy my pictures.
This is a must-see tour! The best we have been on. Mario is amazing, with a wealth of knowledge / information and very funny indeed. It was great fun, and I recommended this tour differently. I joy those great teats his wife made. Wonderful! Cheers, and thanks, Mario! Great Job. 👍
Mario was absolutely wonderful and gave us a great day out, he has a great knowledge of the island and shares it in a very engaging and fun way. All stops were absolutely beautiful and lunch was in a lovely spot. Mario brought some lovely homemade Caribbean sweets and cakes which were delicious. Mario was incredibly invested in making the tour as fun as possible and helped us take lots of beautiful photos. Would absolutely recommend the tour to anyone coming to Barbados!!
Mario and Junior were excellent! We were a group of 7 and undecided initially about taking a van or the open jeep for the island tour. I am glad we went with the open jeep. Mario's love for the island was prominent from the start. He knew about the history of the island and shared the information with a lot of passion and humor. The views were amazing, always picture perfect. Lunch was great, the sorrel drink, sugar cane sweets and banana bread made by his wife were all delicious. I would definitely recommend the Island explorer tour for an all round amazing experience.
Absolutely loved the island tour! We saw around the entire coast of Barbados, with absolutely incredible views making for brilliant photos! Mario was an excellent guide, with so much information on the island and its history as well as providing lovely snacks made by his wife. He was so engaging and enthusiastic throughout making it even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this tour😄😄
Mario was amazing! His tour was fun, full of historical facts and ocean views you’ve never seen before! He made us rum drinks w sorrel and homemade baked goods and sweets from his wife. We also stopped at a delicious local place to eat with the most beautiful scenery. You can tell Mario is passionate about his job and loves what he does, also has a great sense of humor, I highly recommend his tour, you won’t want it to end! It was really cool to see the whole island and get to know the inner workings of it. My fiancé and I can’t say enough about this tour, this is a must do when visiting Barbados!
Mario manages to make this tour both interesting and individual. Many have mentioned his home made Rum Sorrel punch and the cake and sweets made by his wife, but these really do make the tour feel special. You cover as much of the coast of Barbados as is humanly possible, with frequent stops for photo opportunities and lunch also. Mario has an obvious pride in his island and this comes through in his commentary, which is always informative, without overloading you. The seats in the open sided vehicle are also surprisingly comfortable. Highly recommended.
Many thanks to Mario and Scott for a wonderful day, showing us the scenic sights around this beautiful Island. Can highly recommend this tour, we have learnt so much, and had great fun along the way. Also a big shout out to Mario's wife, for the wonderful cakes. If there's only one trip you book on your holiday here, book this, you definitely won't be disappointed.

Super fun! A little hard to find without an address number in the dark, but during the day you’ll see a sign on the main road and the office is behind the business on the Main Street. Safety was the most important thing. He made sure everything was filled out properly and takes the time with everything else to be sure it’s good. The boat was a short ride away with his truck. The boat is moored so you have to swim out from the beach. The boat is dedicated to diving with tank holders, etc. A helper came with even though only two of us diving. The diving was great. Warm water, not rough, sunken ships, and lots of fish to see. Nothing scary. We had a great time!
Fantastic diving experience in Barbados! Did 4 amazing dives with David! His knowledge of the best spots is outstanding, and the sites were spectacular. Patrick was a great captain, ensuring smooth rides. Both were super friendly, professional, and safety-conscious throughout. Shout out to Deena too, who was lovely and shared dive footage! Seriously, if you want a great scuba adventure in Barbados, look no further. Highly recommended, and I hope to dive with them again soon!
I enjoyed 16 dives with David and Patrick this month. Great operation. Very safe and comfortable dives. It is clear that David pays close attention to the details of his operation, and also spends his own time maintaining and repairing the mooring lines at the various dive sites to keep them operating properly. The reefs were colorful and diverse, in spite of still recovering from hurricane Beryl. David knows all the sites well, and also seems to know everyone on the island! It was my first visit to Barbados, and I saw Seahorses, Stingrays, Eagle rays, Puffers, Morays, Octopus (on nearly every dive!) and a great assortment of fish - the dives far exceeded my expectations. I been diving with lots of shops across the Caribbean, but this is one of my favorites. Thanks again, David and Patrick!
My husband and I did four dives with Seahorse Divers in Barbados and had such a great experience. David, the owner and divemaster, was absolutely fantastic. He’s personable, energetic, and really easy to dive with. We instantly felt comfortable and safe in the water with him, which made the whole trip so enjoyable. We’ve both been diving for years with 100+ dives each and have been lucky enough to dive all over the world. This honestly ranks as one of our best experiences. The shipwrecks at Carlisle Bay were a huge highlight, and David was awesome about pointing out so much sealife! The diving equipment was very well maintained, which made us feel very safe and comfortable. We really loved the small dive shop and supporting a locally owned small business. It felt like diving with people who genuinely love what they do. If you’re planning on scuba diving in Barbados, we highly recommend them. We’d go back in a heartbeat.
Wonderful experience diving with David and Seahorse Divers! Usually we dive with our own equipment but as it was a shorter trip, used the equipment provided with no problems. Dive shop used as the meeting point isn't anything fancy but the operation itself was well administered and safe. Having dived 200+ times, I've definitely encountered many a 'fancy looking' shop that doesn't pay attention to the details Seahorse Divers did. Diving off season was a brilliant choice too. Although Seahorse Divers never have more than 5-6 people/boat, we shared the boat one day with one other diver and had David to ourselves the other. Not to mention that the water was a brilliant 30'C and seas calm. The over-the-top touch was that David shared a number of his photos and videos of our time diving together with us. Would definitely dive with David and the south side of Barbados again!
We are new divers and did want a big dive shop experience. We booked 4 tank dives with David and the experience was incredible. David was well aware of our experience and took every opportunity he could to teach us. The first two dives were on reef about 50-60 ft. Dive number three was on a reef, the last dive was on the ship wrecks in Carlisle Bay. Each dive was around 45-60 minutes of bottom time. Aquatic life we saw: Turtles, eels, buffer fish, fed/sting rays, tarpoon, stone fish Great experience and would highly recommend.
Excellent experience! David has been PADI certified for over 30 years. He is extremely knowledgeable and thoroughly enjoys what he does. I had 6 excellent dives with David and Patrick. We saw turtles, sting rays, squid, eel, lobster and so many fish. We found several shells & dove a few ship wrecks. I recommend diving with David, you wont regret it! (he is cash only but this is listed on the website & told before booking)!
Up there as two of the best dives I have ever done. Chucky (David) is an amazing owner/guide. Keeping the amount of people he takes down to a low number makes a big difference. The first deeper reck dive was amazing. The 2nd dive that was closer to the shore was not as deep but had multiple wrecks. The fish and turtles we encountered were unreal. The large wreck we swam through was epic. I highly recommend Seahorse Divers to any certified diver. Shoutout to Patrick who was always there to lend a hand!

Absolutely amazing. it was super cool to see the production line, and it was very well put together what they can do. Great tastings at the beginning and the end. Highly recommend this tour and our guide Charla. As someone else stated in their review, it is hard to find. Look for the only non-warehouse building on the road. Cash only.
Gift shop is nice with a bar behind it. Ladies in gift shop were extremely nice.
Nice beer however if it's busy you'll not be able to drink it. Expect to queue for an hour to get a drink.
The tour was good. Charla was a great tour guide. The distillery was difficult to find (Poor directional signage)!!!
Nice place! Excellent Beer!!
I never toured the complex but to me its a place of interest I brought beers from there on many occasions up to this morning.
My wife is blind and was refused the option of taking the tour.

Really awesome experience. The transportation from and back to the resort was very safe and smooth (for newbies, driving in the Caribbean can be a bit of a worry sometimes). The tour itself was amazing. Some unbelievable views and Adam really does a great job of making you feel the history of the island. Would absolutely recommend for visitors.
The guides were punctual, quite informative about their native island, and instantly felt like a longterm friend. Bikes were high quality, and easy to use. We felt very safe going off the resort property. Appropriate for all skill levels able to ride a bike. The hills were easy with the e-bike, but if you wanted a challenge you could turn off the electric feature. Thanks to the e-bike we got to see a large portion of the island and learn about the varied history and culture along the way. Plus riding by locals houses in the rural areas who were happy to smile and wave as we passed by. We went to several great scenic spots, including ones off the beaten path. My new favorite way to tour an island. Would definitely recommend. Bonus at the end was a rum punch. Cheers!
A very big thank you to Roger and Adam for this lovely e-bike tour across the island. It was just stunning and felt like being shown around by friends. We’ve seen the real Barbados and have been to places you’d normally not visit.
Great bike tour with Gregory & Roger. Stunning views and lookouts along the way.
Thoroughly enjoyed my first ever cycle using an eBike....and boy was that 'booster' engine needed! This tour, led by Gregory and Roger was great fun, and certainly does what it says on the tin - quiet roads, off road trails, fields, palm plantations.....we cycled through the lot! Definitely took us on a route that varied on every turn, and I would never have found on my own, nor been able to finish without that extra 'turbo' on board. Our hosts were great; knowledgeable about their island, patient and very keen to ensure everyone stayed safe! Whether you have cycling experience or not, would definitely recommend this trip as an active alternative to just lying on the beach!! Thanks Greg and Roger....was a pleasure meeting you both, and will defo do another tour next time I am back! regards Michael
This was by far my favourite thing we did in Barbados. Beautiful scenery, knowledgeable guides (Roger / Gregory were excellent) and a few challenging sections thrown in to make you feel like you have earned the beer (or rum punch) at the end. Could not recommend this tour highly enough… although one little word of advice, don’t wear bright white trainers, because if you get caught in a rain shower, they don’t stay white for long 😂
This was an incredible, scenic, eye-opening tour of Barbados. It was the best activity we did during our first trip to the island. We can’t wait to return and do the longer “challenge” ebike tour around the island!
Absolutely amazing trip today with Gregory, Roger and Adam - I couldn’t rate it highly enough. Top of the range bikes in excellent condition, brilliantly thought through tour with such lovely details throughout. We learned lots and had a great time too. Saw such special parts of the island and everyone should see these places. Magical day. Thank you so much ❤️
