Great place. In their efforts to make it comfortable they have added a zip line, lots of restaurants and safe areas for people to make the best out of their visit. It’s such a beautiful place
This place has a very similar volcanic formation to that of Devil's Tower. That said, this place is very different in climate, altitude, etc. The formations tend to go down into a small valley. There are lots of walking paths here and you need to be ok with going over a suspension bridge and up and down steps. Doing that will give you a much fuller and richer experience. I highly recommend this place!
The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla are Mexico’s version of Ireland’s Giant’s Causeway and Iceland’s Svartifoss—but with a hacienda, history, and a side of enchiladas. Once part of a booming silver-mining region, the prisms sit beside the grand Hacienda Santa María Regla, built in the 1700s by a mining baron who clearly liked a good view. Explorer Alexander von Humboldt visited in 1803 and made the spot world-famous. Today, you can actually stay at the old hacienda and sneak out for private access to the backside of the waterfalls—basically your own secret entrance to one of Mexico’s most photogenic hidden gems.
An amazing basaltic prisms canyon with beautiful walking path for strolling and taking pictures. Wonderful waterfall, landscape, gift shops, food and deserts. A must visit when in Huasco de Ocampo.
Amazing place! Fascinating natural formation of basaltic prisms. Entrance is 100 mxn per person which includes parking.
What a beautiful and magical place. Walked around with family and spectacular views from almost everywhere. Relaxing, peaceful and tranquil!
What a beautiful place. This is so amazing i have never seen anything like this. Beautiful walk around beautiful everything. Went closer to closing time so that was nice because there was less people. Pictures come out so nice so take many.
Beautiful and extensive place. It's worth a day's visit. Taking a boat ride around the dam is a nice experience. The extreme zip line very safe in that place with double rope harnesses. I hope soon to visit this site again

What a beautiful little town, I loved it, so colourful, lots of great food. A must visit if you are near Hidalgo
Huasca de ocampo is definitely full of magic and folklore. I didn't get to explore it as much as I wanted but the little that I saw was extraordinary
What nice Pueblo Mágico! Beautiful city, good restaurants and some craft stands on the streets. The downsize is the car traffic to downtown.
Huasca de Ocampo, the Primer Pueblo Mágico de México, is as charming as it is delightfully weird. The town is filled with cobblestone streets, colorful buildings, and a surprising number of goblins—yes, the locals proudly celebrate their mischievous duendes with statues, stories, and even themed tours. Weekends bring lively markets packed with handmade crafts, local snacks, and that “I probably don’t need this, but I’m buying it anyway” energy. For adventure, hop on an ATV tour into the nearby canyon—a fantastic half-day ride with epic views and just enough dust to feel like you earned your next meal. It’s a magical mix of folklore, flavor, and fun that makes Huasca unforgettable.
Huasca is near the Bosque de las Truchas and the Prismas Basalticos (which I recommend visiting). This is also a "pueblo magico" which means it's an old town and of historical significance.
Very beautiful place, town is very clean very safe. To get into the prismas it's 100 pesos per person. Mondays are really calm not to many people. Sundays after 6pm are great times to take pictures. Very beautiful place to take pictures or have a photo session. Do recommend for tourists or people from hidalgo to check out.
The most beautiful little town I've been to. It's a must if you travel to Hidalgo. Make sure you try the local food and take some some time to go to "el túnel" it's an antique pastes shop. It's a family place and every family member will enjoy it
It's an magic place, the tour in order to hear fairy tales about goblins and others mistical criatures was amazing 😎🤟🏽

Even though it is small, I enjoyed coming here. I didn’t have any prior knowledge to gnomes before coming here but they explain everything! From what exactly they are to the proofs that they do exist. It’s a very interesting (and a little bit eerie) place filled with so many different gnomes with different gifts.
You know what they should do, is make a theme park for children gnome-themed and make it fun and interactive. Then I would be more than happy to come here. Not worth the time in my opinion. Beautiful scenery and weather!
Cute and kitschy. The story behind the museum is fun. It is all in Spanish. Lots of fairies, gnomes, dwarves and goblins. It's pretty small though.
Great place to visit! It's a hidden gem they explain the origins and how duendes are. The exhibition is small but its interesting. The gift shop is fun! filled with little trinkets good to take as souvenirs. Also the stand outside the museum that serve drinks are great! A good stop if you're in the area.
Great experience Lot of fun out there
Interesting little museum! We are trying to learn Spanish but don't know near enough to be able to fully appreciate everything... Yet lol!
Magical & gorgeous place if you are into myths. The place is small, clean & cute. The place is next to a hotel
It was very okay! We went there because my wife wanted to visit and she was told many stories of dwarfs by her grandmother. She enjoyed it but in it's current form, I am not sure the kids would enjoy as much because there is a lot of reading and not much in terms of interactive things to do.

Pena del Aire (rock of the air) is a large basaltic rock on the side of the San Sebastian river canyon. The rock looks like its hanging in mid air. Views of the canyon are well worth the trip. They have group and individual hiking down to the Sebastian River, which is 1 KM straight elevation from top.
Amazing views if u like nature..Its a hike to go down the rock, make sure to take comfy shoes. Its around an 1 hour from Huasca. Theirs a zipline, horse rides, and motocycle rentals&more.
Really an extreme experience with the highest swings, the place is really nice and people are very friendly.
Beautiful view of the landscape ... though I didn't agree with them building a zipline attraction ... why not just enjoy the view? Still, it's beautiful place@
Such a beautiful natural place tu visit when ever you visit the basaltic prism's in Huasca Hidalgo incredible view
Beautiful view. There's a zipline, a couple swings right in front of the canyon and a rappelling activity.
Awesome canyons and activities associated with them.
It is a great place to go out with your loved ones you can spend some quality time, they have horses and various activities for you to enjoy, they also serve delicious food and alcohol

Beautiful place to explore and have fun. Mostly for kids 4yrs old and up.Lotts to do. Expect to spend all day here
This place does have a cost per person that enter and it's not unreasonable. There is some walking involved if you want to get around to see things. They raise trout here (that's what "trucha" means) and then you can buy trout or eat prepared trout at one of the many restaurants. If you go during the weekend I'm told it's quite busy but during the week there's not nearly as many people. Bikes are not allowed but there are some quads that are for rent. You can also rent small boats to go out on some of the water. There is a small cave that you can walk through (it does have a very small price) and you will need to use your phone or another light to walk inside. It's not really a cave but more of a mine that was started and then abandoned.
Great place to spend the day. Many options of entertainment. The entire place is well kept and clean. Only cash is accepted. Parking lot is huge. The fishing area is beautiful, they clean your fish and the restaurants can cook it for you unless you want to cook it yourself. Bring coal if you prefer this option. Very recommended.
The fishing was fun and the fish was delicious! And I don't like fish or fishing!!!!
Cool place - unfortunately the big lake was drained and the cave wasn't open. We would like to go back when things are back to normal though and are going to try to find out when that is. Lots of restaurants and shops on site!
Great place to take your kids or going with someone to enjoy the outdoors.
Pretty landscapes, a beautiful emerald lake shop, restaurants, fishing a lil bit expensive but is money well spend.
Pretty great, the cave is lame tho don't go there, the toilets aren't good.
