Dos aguas is a very nice and big place located at San Rafael in Estado de Mexico. It is a green territory with forest, access for hiking, biking, camping, gamping, picnics, etc. There are a lot of beautiful things that can naturally attract people, the nature itself is amazing, the trees, the mountain, the water flow, the flowers, the cascades, everything is so nice. Also at the entrance you can have a place for grilling your own food, so bring your meat.
Another wonderfully beautiful mountainous park, made for climbers, hikers and picnickers. It has some restaurants and kiosks for food and refreshments, a spring flowing stream, climbing rocks, waterfalls (which I didn't get to see this time) and a rigid hiking trail. You can drive your car almost all the way to the end if walking is not your thing and rent a cabin or put up your tent if you prefer the rugged terrain option. During this coronavirus era it was nice to be outdoors, without masks and appropriately social distanced from others. Oh! And it's clean too!
It is an excellent place to do trekking, wlak in the middle of the forest, take out the family and pets. Eating un cheap and good.
The best is the people you meet there.
Sadly the via ferrata was closes, but we did a beautiful hike to the diamante waterfalls.
This place is amazing. It's like an enchanted forest walk. You can disconnect from everything and enjoy the beauty of water running down hill, huge cliffs, bolder and massive trees. It's definitely worth the hike.
For outdoor adventure it's terrific, it can also be a bit dangerous on some areas, you can get a guide or on your own.
It's a place with a lot of nature and is really amazing, you can walk and eat without any problem, so near of the mountains and be forest and waterfalls in all the place.
