We decided to do a family trip to Stradbroke as we had never been. Wow, we were so surprised at how big Stradbroke was and how lucky are we in Australia to have some of the most incredible beaches. We took our car over and booking on Sealink was so easy and the staff were all so helpful and friendly. Highly recommend heading over to Stradbroke!
Great trip to Straddie. Staff are always friendly and happy, onboard cafe is great. Captain pointed out whales both on the trip out and on the way back, close enough that you could hear them blowing when they came up for air. I always go as a walk-on on the vehicle ferry as it takes longer than the passenger ferry.
I was a bit nervious about driving onto the barge at Cleveland in my my campervan. The team on Sealink were super helpfull and friendly and nothing was a problem. What a day it was. Beautifull one day perfect the next.
The staff are professional and friendly. There's a nice Cafe on board. Mainly, you can't get here without em, so what are you waiting for?
Very reliable and enjoyable return trip to Nth Stadbroke Island. The staff are friendly and accommodating as we had to change our booking at the last minute which was easy as a phone call. Thanks for the whales.
Visiting a friend and helping out. I have a lovely connection with the island over the last 50 or so years. And with your services,it makes that possible. Thankyou. Mark Mellor.
Excellent service!! Very easy to book and u can change ur booking through online or over the phone. The crew is very helpful .
What a great way to start a trip to Straddie. Once getting on board head up to the cafe, if sandwiches, pies, sausage rolls, coffees or a sneaky little pre-arrival beverage is your choice, Sealink offers a variety of food and beverage options, plenty of comfortable seating, and a welcoming space that makes you feel relaxed. Enjoy the spectacular views too!

Beautiful beach and great for sunset swimming. A little difficult getting to the beach depending on the entrance used (some entrances have water and long grass to wade through), but there's other entrances that work better. Dogs allowed off leash in parts too which was great!
This beach is especially safe for all families because it has a relatively shadow lagoon with neither wave nor shark for the non swimmers to play with water. Perfect spot to view sunset.
5 stars 100% The beach is so beautiful 😍 like Instagram level it's insane But also in the water, it's like very easy and calm to relax in and also it was like not deep at all even If you go far in like at some points you can stand Very safe area wish I could go again!
A little bit disappointed, beautiful length of beach but we had trouble visiting it. The road was blocked.
Beautiful patrolled beach - kids had a ball. Ample parking. Good ice cream and coffee but lacking any more substantial food options currently
Nice beach, great for sunrises over the point. Very flat and wide, perfect for kicking a ball around.
An okay beach — I've seen worse, but definitely seen a lot better
Amazing water, whitsundays level. Perfect spot away from the crowds

Freshwater natural perched lake popular as a swimming spot with barbecue & picnic facilities.
Slide 1 of 8
Brown Lake gets its name from the tea tree stained waters (which are also like a natural high softener after a swim). This peaceful, beautiful lake has gentle ripples depending on the wind factor, and is surrounded by tea trees, and local fauna & flora. My only beef is the entitled and lack of standards that the visitors seem to have, leaving behind plastic bottles, food on the ground or rubbish. I found an empty plastic water bottle and lid this trip, and was not surprised that ANY of the many visitors there even bothered to pick it up and put it into a recycling ♻️ bin 🚮 let alone little bits of blue foam from SUP’s or floating devices. Apart from the visitors, this site is magical and so worth visiting. Definitely worth having a swim. If you go right out to the centre and dive, the water gets cooler the deeper you go.
My dad enjoyed the water a lot! While at the very beginning he was a bit hesitant because of the colour of the lake lol! Please be careful driving there as there are so many pot holes on the road, you probably wouldn’t need a 4WD though!
Such a refreshing place to visit on an amazing Island. Lake Bummiera has special significance to the local Aboriginal people, and if you visit at a quiet time of day you’ll feel the magic. I acknowledge and respect the Quandamooka people who belong to country. I would like to share a Poem by local Artist, Brendon Coghill to give understanding to the significance or this sacred place. I will tell you a story of a lake they call Brown, For we call it Bumeira where the t-trees surround. As the women tell stories and the children all play, Gabul the giant carpet snake protects them all day. This snake has been seen by my peoples own eye’s, For I know this is true for my people don’t lie. To swim in the lake we have to ask for permission; To enter and enjoy without any further discussion. We are not permitted to swim to the centre of the lake, It is where her spirit lies and sometimes she’s awake. The black spirits that you see are our people from our past, As we sit and tell our stories of our Dreamtime they will last. The goanna’s near the lake are always in and out of trees, Crawling through the sand always searching for a feed. To come together at this lake is so special for our race, For when we swim and tell stories we leave not a trace. The only remains that we leave are our footprints in the sand, Now they don’t belong to us they now belong to the land. Night time we are not permitted to venture anywhere near it. So respect this sacred woman’s lake when you visit this ancient land, And take your time and nestle down like goanna’s in the sand. Bumeira is very sacred to our women and children you see, So enjoy this special place and the surrounding t-trees.
Brown lake got the the most tofu-silky white sand in the world. I can lie down and spend my whole day here. The water was literally brown, which made me a bit afraid to go deeper and further. But the shallow part of the Brown lake was wide enough for people like me to enjoy. Strong recommend to be here in the morning. It’s always good to have less people around you.
Beautiful lake to have a swim in. Water is quite cool as it gets deeper. Accessible by normal car, with additional locations around the lake accessible only to 4wd via sand tracks.
The colour of the water put a couple of people off but I really enjoyed the quiet serene area. The trees surrounding the lake is the reason for the verandah colour and the tea tree oils are on the water.
Loved it. Clean fresh water and koalas and monitors as well!
Amazing lake, recommend it.

Mark was an absolutely brilliant guide, explaining about the indigenous history & politics of the island, along with a fascinating sight seeing tour by boat of the shipwrecks, from Dunwich to Amity. We saw a bull shark, plentiful rays & turtles, and even a dugong coming up for air. Mark then dropped a kayak over to brown lake for me to have a paddle. Wonderful day. Highly recommend the boat tour
Mark is the best. He did us not only how to kayak but also told us the aboriginal stories. So glad to have him in the tour.
We had an absolute blast. Service was A+. We will be returning for more Stradie Adventures. Thanks Mark👍
Our kayaking trip with Mark was relaxing, informative and exciting. We paddled at a relaxing pace around the mangroves on the western side of North Stradbroke Island, listening to Mark tell stories about indigenous culture, wildlife and the natural environment. The water is calm, clear and shallow and you can see stingrays and fish. A pod of 5 dolphins came very close to us at the start of the trip, while they were hunting a school of fish. Later Mark spotted a flathead lying on the bottom and speared it from his kayak. You should have seen the smile on his face. I highly recommend this 2 hour kayaking trip because it is enjoyable, adventurous and not too strenuous.
Kayaking with Mark was a clear highlight of our long weekend on Straddie. We paddled on a calm morning around the island to the sounds of the local birds and accompanied by storytelling of the island’s history and current issues. Many thanks.
I will recommend Straddle Adventures to anyone visiting the island. Mark was a great guide (kayak and food tasting). He is very well spoken and has great knowledge of his cultural heritage and the region.
We went on a kayak excursion, launching from a small creek near 1 mile, and taking a relaxed paddle along the mangroves to our take out point. We saw heaps of sting rays, a green turtle, and even found a bee's nest! (It turned out fine). The guide shared quite a bit of Aboriginal history, and was super friendly and helpful. Recommended if you want a low-key, enjoyable trip for the afternoon or morning.
Rich cultural experience and a true adventure. We went out on a kayak with Mark who helped us truly understand the place we were visiting. We saw so much stunning wildlife including a dugong with her baby, which I will never forget. Suitable for kids with a variety of experiences to suit all abilities and appetites for excitement. This is probably the best tourism experience I have ever had so I think it's a must-do for anyone visiting Terangeri/Minjerribah/North Stradbroke. Excellent value.

Drive the mining road starting at Dunwich to the national park car park on the right side. Great walks. Take the Kaboora walk to Brown lake and on to Blue Lake. Only took us about 45 mins walk each way through beautiful surroundings with heathlands and wetland views along sandy tracks 3 choices of tracks to reach Blue Lake. Carpark area has orientation info of the various tracks to Brown and Blue lakes and lookout beyond.
Absolutely loved the experience. I chose to enter via the Kabul trail - 1KM of uphill switchbacks to the Jarlo intersection but then follows the ridge down to just north of Kaboora itself. Beautiful country that continually changes with elevation in a short space of time. Keep your eyes down for snakes (saw a few) and up for spider webs - the Orb webs are impressive but a bit sticky if you become entangled in one. The Quandamooka respectfully ask that you do not swim in the lake, you can head to Brown Lake up the road if swimming is your thing. Heading out the main Kaboora trail was a little anticlimactic after the beauty of Kabul but it wasn't as demanding.
Awesome spot for a swim. Crystal clear water! Quite a hike from the car park but worth it for a fresh dip on a hot day.
“Splendid, superpower” - N “Serene, with few hikers along the trek, beautiful, but remote trekking path - you get to see the blue lake at the end of it” ~ Brandon “ it was spectacular, we enjoyed hearing the birds chirping and finding branches along the way. Many good benches and i enjoyed the view and the moment. I can smell the freshness of the forest and enjoy the interaction with other hikers” ~ Brian “I enjoyed not knowing where we were gonna end up, it was a very leisurely hike and had a great holiday vibe along the trail” ~ Jessie
No swimming Stop five minutes
We enjoyed our walk to this lake, it was quiet with pretty scenery. A bit disappointing to see some people swimming in it, it is a sacred aboriginal spot and clearly signed not to swim. Also worth mentioning that we saw two pythons on the track we took via the hills so be careful if you visit
A pleasant walk, not busy. The park ranger we met was very friendly and explained they have built a new Easterly section of track that rises up to a lookout. Something to try next time. Brown Lake is better if you are looking for somewhere to swim.
Quite a long walk to get lake but worth it. Awesome clear fresh water

Nice tasting coffee with plenty of milk options, including macadamia milk, which is rare in other cafes. They also have a nice selection of cakes in their cabinet with a native twist. Staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the environment within and surrounding the cafe is very peaceful as you're amongst nature. Take the opportunity to visit their discovery centre, gift shop, buy a native plant, or take a nature, oxygen filled walk amongst their indigenous botanical gardens. If you're lucky, you might even spot the famous Ranger Stacey 😊
Normally have coffee & scones (with Lemon Myrtle butter - they are amazing) but chose the Pea & Ham Soup to warm me up. Glad I did - the best Pea & Ham soup I've ever eaten. Silky smooth with ham that melted in the mouth. Literally! Plus, they had a vegan option. I love this place, off the main road, you'd never realise such a tranquil and loving space exists. A perfect place to catch up with friends or just relax next to a natural paradise.
Amazing cafe, great flavours in both the food and variety of drinks. The chefs know what they are doing! Food was prepared exceptionally well, we had the indigiwrap and the salmon, both recommended! The bush walk is a great little getaway, and was 90% wheelchair accessible, the dirt paths very smooth and easy when dry.
I absolutely adore both the cafe and gardens. Their Indigicake is something I get everytime and it never fails to delight! They also have a collection of native jams, teas and other foods as well. If the cafe isn't your thing then you can take a walk around their gardens and bushland and see native wuldki
Always my mum’s favourite place to have brunch. Very friendly and efficient staff. Delicious food. Peaceful atmosphere in the middle of trees.
Well looked after and interactive. Great walks for young and old. Short and flat. Easy! There is also a popular cafe on site and a nice gift shop.
Indigiscapes is a lovely place to spend some time in nature. A great wildlife habitat for birdwatching, you also may have a chance to spot a koala. I love the natural forest areas and boardwalks but I also like to wander through the small botanical gardens which are set up with different themes displaying native Australian plants, such as a wildlife and bush tucker garden. There's a lovely natural kids play area with flying fox and there's also an education centre and a fabulous cafe on site which is always popular. Highly recommend!
We visited Indigiscape for the first time and walked away amazed. The Bush walks were so beautiful looking out for different types of fauna and spotting the turtles lizards and birds in the creek. We also purchaced some plants from your nursery.Very informative staff..Lunch was yummy !! Great place to take the kids..

One of the best breweries in South East Queensland. We've done over 50 and this is definitely our favourite. They have a really diverse range of beers with amazing flavours. I don't drink beer but they converted me, which no other brewery has ever managed to do. The garlic prawn pizza was the most flavoursome we've had anywhere, and the warm home made pretzels were melt in your mouth awesome. Ross and Madonna do a great job in making you feel welcome. Will definitely be returning to visit again
Been meaning to get here for so long, finally have, no regrets. The service is pristine, music is great, food is delicious, and of course the beers are incredible. Absolutely worth it.
What a spot! Epic beer selection. Tasting paddles were well priced for the serving. We had the cheesy garlic bread and it was amazing. The rosemary really added a great flavour. Even better they are dog friendly so we will definitely be taking our big Rottweiler next time as the tables are very spacious. Customer service was amazing. We sat on the outside table and they had all the gas heaters going which made this cold day so lovely. We will definitely be visiting again soon! Good job team!
For unique dark brews that offset the range juice bombs in the city, this is the best artisan brewery in the country. Madonna is a wizard behind the bar, knowledgeable and generous. Plus their ribs are American style, so gear up for an artery escapade. Such a great choice of brews you can’t get anywhere else. Highly recommend.
At last a truly boutique brewery, this place brews small batches of all kinds of beers. They taste extra special as well. The owner tells a fascinating story about this original boutique brewery in Brisbane which he started over 12 years ago. Great service , good pizzas to eat as well. Very Dog friendly, they are allowed inside which is especially nice on a hot day. We will be back.
Their brews are always on point! Taste amazing and impressed by their originality and creativity. Regular and guest food trucks are available on Fri and Sat, and they are great with beers, too! Love their relaxed and friendly atmosphere:) You can order their brew via online, too!
Lost count of how many times we’ve been here over the years. Always excellent beers on tap and packaged for take away. Personally love the English style beers, stouts and porters. Most recently there at the weekend for the St. George’s Day event. As usual excellent beers on tap, especially the hand pulled beers. One of Brisbane’s best breweries and dog friendly too.
Friendly, informative staff. They know their stuff! Relaxed atmosphere. Delicious pizzas. Awesome music plays over the top. The choices of beers on tap and in bottles is AMAZING. Must come back..... Again and again.

I really loved the Redlands Coast Museum. I had previously visited a similar museum in Petrie which was a bit underwhelming and I had low expectations here. But the place was very well done and had a huge variety of artefacts and far exceeded my expectations. It’s a great place to visit for kids to teach them about “the olden days”. Well done team!
So good! The kids enjoyed the museum a lot. Even the big kids learnt a few things along the way!
What a hidden gem. Such an interesting, well set out and huge collection of items, looked after by dedicated volunteers. If you love old things and history, you will love this place. Highly recommend.
Wow..this place exceeded my expectations. Friendly staff and it has an area where kids could play toys when they get bored. For adults, so many things to see if you are into history like myself. Thanks for the volunteers to fix and keep the place running
A lovely little museum, only $6 concession to get in, children free. Lots of old things to look at. Full of local history too. A little train!tram that you can pretend to work from the drivers seat and blow the horn. Loads of different sections with different themes, eg toy room with how toys have changed with time, a doll section, a general store of how one would have been back in the day with genuine posters and articles from the time, eg of a dining room from back in the day with real furniture from the past. There's loads to see, old motor bikes, old carts, old Holden, some vehicles are over 100yrs old! There's even homemade biscuits $8, a little showbag with homemade wooden toys and boiled lollies for $20, and a collector badge you can purchase on your way on/out if you want to take a momento. There are old model ships, and stories/from from real local/and other people from the olden days. We loved it. A lovely, cheap, informative, fun day out.
The best favorite museum I have been visit ever! Supper friendly staffs, nice rooms with full of ancient stuffs. I felt like stepping back old centuries, everything so beautiful, an ancient beauty..... it's incredible! So lucky evething got protect carefully and we have chance to see.
What a wonderful place to visit. So many memories. Friendly staff. Great exhibits. Definitely have to go back as there is so much to see.
It’s an amazing museum that everyone must see! Everything is very organised, very well restored and maintained. All staff members are welcoming, friendly, very knowledgeable and fun to talk to 🥰

Great headland area & a good playground & park for kids too. Lovely spot, especially as the sun goes down as when we called past. Not sure, but don't think you can do anything more than just look at the lighthouse, it's just a basic, small structure.
The walkway adjacent to the sea is mind blowing! We had a wonderful time watching the sunset. Great for having some family time together ❤️
The lighthouse is a lovely structure, very photogenic. Next to the lighthouse is a park suitable for a picnic. Has undercover tables and chairs. There's also a good playground for the young ones. A stones throw from the lighthouse is The Lighthouse cafe, restaurant and 🍸 bar.
Lovely little spot..playground and toilets..plenty of seats around to look at water..old boat ramp where some guys were fishing..went down to look at the beautiful pelicans..
This is on a nice park in Moreton Bay on a narrow Peninsula in Cleveland. It is nice views of the Bay and you can see Moreton and North Stradbroke Islands across the water. There are always boats out on the water enjoying the day as well as ferries to many of the islands in the bay. The lighthouse is an older style that helped guide shipping in the earlier days of Brisbane Harbour. A nice place for a picnic or just to sit and wile away some time. There is a fish and chip shop and an icecream shop in the restaurant and cafe complex that has excellent takeaway food as well.
Love the fresh air, beautiful scenery bay views, plenty of free parking. Open and shaded areas with seats. Great spot to stop, picnic, have some ☀️ quiet time with your ☕ restaurant nearby.
Great place to be by the sea on a nice sunny day.
Good for a visit. Also have a coffee in the cafe across the road, the edge of the building is in the bay!! The Grand View Hotel, one of the oldest hotels in QLD, is a 5 min drive down the road. Make a day of it.

Wellington Point is one of the best places to enjoy a sunset in Brisbane! 🌅 A peaceful coastal spot with wide views over Moreton Bay. At low tide, you can walk along the sandbar in the middle of the bay – a unique experience, but make sure to check the tide times as the water rises quickly. The park has BBQ areas, picnic spots, and a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for families, couples, or anyone who loves nature. Parking can be busy on weekends, so it’s best to arrive a bit earlier. Highly recommended for a relaxing afternoon and stunning sunset views! 🌊
🌅 Chilled Day at Wellington Point Beach 🌊 Had such a lovely time at Wellington Point Beach! It’s the perfect spot to relax, especially during low tide when you can walk out to King Island – such a cool experience. The water is calm and great for a casual swim or just dipping your feet in. We grabbed some snacks, had a little picnic, and watched the sun go down – the sunset views here are honestly beautiful. There’s plenty of space to sit under the trees or walk along the shore. Great place to unwind with friends or even solo. Peaceful, clean, and just a short drive from city.
Popular, large park with plenty of parking, shade and covered tables and BBQ facilities. At low tide you can walk out to a small island and back. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
Stunning! We went during the week and kids were back at school so it was quiet. Fantastic area for kids, great park, loads of shade under the trees - which are absolutely stunning. We walked out to the island during low tide. Highly recommend doing it. It’s a great experience.
Wellington Point Recreation Reserve was beautiful, but unfortunately I didn’t get the chance to walk out to King Island like Moses. I could only admire it from afar this time. Hopefully, I’ll get the opportunity to make that walk and explore King Island up close in the future!
A beautiful and clean picnic area with children's play area. Plenty shade and parking. Stunning views over Moretonbay.
Perfect place to watch a gorgeous sunset & if you head down at low tide, you can walk out to the island you can see in the photos. Really easy walk, approx 3km there and back.
Havent been here for a while since moving to the northside, the kids were on about 6 - 10yrs of age, now in their mid 20's. Still an awesome place to visit, so much to do & love it when the tide goes down & you can walk over to the little island. A really great spot for famiy gatherings, bbq, fishing, take the boat out, playground for the kids, public toilets

A perfect place for sunset views and fishing. Well kept and clean area.
We went at sunset to see the wild dolphins. The kids couldn't see them because a group of youths were blocking access to the jetty. So, we walked out on the rocks. Kids loved the rocks and water and missed the dolphins but still had a great time. Then they played with other kids in the playground until it was too dark to see.
The jetty is a great place to relax and have a quiet time staring at the ocean with a chance to have a good swim in a quiet beach and spot smiling dolphins. Apparently also a great spot for fishing. Probably the best sunset of the island.
An epic sunset on any clear night is a stunning experience at Amity Point jetty. Dolphins on sunset, sometimes pelicans and a load of people fishing. Reliable sunsets, safe and there's a small kiddies park with toilet block and netted swimming area. I'd get takeaway and sit at the tables and watch the sun go down.
Amazing little spot for some fishing, very relaxing
The scenery is beautiful and people there are very friendly. But at night, some people were extremely rude. They yelled, mocked others, tried to cut fishing lines, and called us idiots. Their behavior completely ruined the peaceful atmosphere!!!!
My experience of overnight fishing here: I stayed two nights at the camping site. On the first night, the people fishing on the jetty were cursing using mandarin. On the second night it got worse, they made comments about us using cheap rods, seemed to try cutting our lines and clearly wanted us to move on. It used to be a good overnight spot, but in my view it’s not anymore. They even threw their rubbish into the sea! Very disappointing.
A super spot. We visited on the first day of winter and the sun was out and the sky blue. The caravan park adds to the area keeping it green and giving it an open park like feeling. Lots of interesting things to see; the pelicans, the dolphins, the diving birds, people loading their boats, the dock to walk out, the beach to walk along. Very restful and out of the wind compared too the more wild east side of the island.

I would like to give James and his team a thumb up for the way they are running this excellent diving structure. As one of their regular divers they know already how high my appreciation of their work is. The latest review I just read was quite upsetting for me because I was part of the same group of divers, and I have a really different perspective of the event. I am not used to brag about my diving experience, but I think it could be useful here to say that I am a “senior” diving instructor with 5000+ dives who had run a diving structure for 5 years in French Polynesia, 25 years ago. I did few dives in the past few months with our dive guide, she is a brilliant, competent and passionate divemaster. This last Saturday morning she did her best to find a path through some very poor visibility conditions but always in an extremely safe way. It is false to say the contrary. The previous comment is wrong on so many levels. There are many factors we cannot control as a dive operator, and nothing could have been better managed for that dive; the crew was excellent as usual. From our group of 6 divers, we were with my lovely buddy, the only 2 helping the crew to unload the boat, the complaining divers were nowhere to be seen which was frustrating. Teamwork should be at the forefront of any diver spirit. Once again, well done team Manta Scuba centre, you are at the top of your game. I am happy to be part of this community. Thierry
You can tell the genuine passion for diving that the staff have! I did 2 fun dives with Manta Lodge and had a great time despite difficult weather conditions. Flat Rock and Roaring Deep were both amazing winter dive sites with sharks, humpback whales, turtles and a variety of fish. James your enthusiasm and zest for life/diving is infectious and so much fun. You instantly made me feel comfortable and I can’t wait to dive with you all again! The gear hire and van pick up made the process so easy too. Big 5 stars from me ☺️
Amazing dives and team! 🦈🩵 We had an incredible experience diving with this club. The whole team was super friendly, professional, and passionate about what they do. Everything was perfectly organized, from the briefing to the dive itself, and we always felt safe and well taken care of. The dives were absolutely stunning — full of life and amazing encounters underwater. The equipment was in excellent condition, and the atmosphere on the boat was relaxed and fun. Thank you so much to the whole crew for making these dives unforgettable! We would come back without hesitation and highly recommend this dive center to anyone visiting the area.
Would have to be one of the most personal and attentive dive crews you will come across. Nome of the “cattle truck” type operations where there are too many people and not enough room. Excellent dive gear for hire, with genuinely invested dive guides and skippers. Close dive sites with protection from most weather conditions. Hump Backs in attendance whilst in the water, where you can listen to them on your way down !!! Spectacular Shark Alley which is an absolute must if you want to see big sharks, and in good numbers, where you can just hover on the edge of the alley and have interaction with some beautiful mommas. One of the best offerings in South East Queensland. Absolutely top notch 🐋🐳🦈🐟
Have had an awesome stay at Manta Lodge. Staff have been so friendly, the bed was super comfy and room had everything we needed. We used the communal kitchen a few times and it is well equipped and clean. We have loved our time here! Also 1 min walk to the beach!!
Lovely hostel! Good value. Friendly receptionist that help give ideas of what to do on the island. Washing machines there. Communal space. Private rooms or dorms. Comfy beds. Fridge included in the private rooms. Mirror. Desk. Lovely stay.
I booked 2 nights with the intent to explore the island (they hire bikes and surfboards) and ended up going for 2 of the most amazing dives I've ever had ! Lovely crew, and lots of whales, sharks, rays and turtles ! 100 % would recommend and go back !
I have dived with them 30+ times. The staff are incredible, the dive sites are fantastic. And the gear cleaning station+ hot showers after the dive are amazing

A wander through the cemetery was quite moving with 9000 grave most unmarked and there is a memorial to the 26 emigrants who lost their lives to Typhus in the 1800's
A very interesting place some graves stuck together so tread lightly
Lots of history, beautiful place for final rest
Many historical grave sites

All the years we've been holidaying on Straddie island, this was a local treasure of a find. So much information of the history of the island, it's truly worth a visit. Also includes some interesting facts from during WW2.
The museum provides the much needed preservation of Minjerribahs history. Highly recommended to visit along with your stay here
Cute small museum with some history about the aboriginal communities, mining time, shipwrecks and environment of stradbroke island. The entry ticket is 10$ general and 8$ for students
A great museum to learn about and explore the history of First Nations peoples and first settlers on Straddie. Their shop has beautiful collections from local artists, history books and amazing picture books.
Great spot to visit and learn about the local history, all Culturally, Settlement, and Political records and stories.
Nicole gave a great talk on all the aspects of colonial life on the island which was fascinating. All the displays were very well kept interesting And enjoyable. 🙂
Nice museum worth visiting. There is a lot of interesting info about the area and its history. Customer service is great. Ample off street parking.
Informative small museum about the history of Minjerribah and the indigenous people of the island, along with the establishment of the Benevolent society. Located in Dunwich, check opening hours

Special place of immense cultural significance to us first nations people. It's best experienced on high tide. Whilst visiting try to remain as quite as possible to enjoy the bird life and pay respect to our ancestors and creation spirits. Also try to visualize our people utilizing capembah to add to your spiritual experience. Peace out 🤙🤙🤙
Mayor’a Springs has the coolest and cleanest fresh water creek that meanders into a tidal creek. The beautiful shading trees makes this a special place. It has a walkway which provides easy access to this area while trying to protect it from the many visitors. It is a must see place as you explore Stradebroke
I visited this beautiful place recently. The peace and quiet were shattered by the presence of 6 jet skis. They were right next to the observation deck. How are they allowed to foul these pristine waters? A totally disappointing visit.
One of the calmest and the prettiest places I’ve ever been.
Now aboriginal family camp Myora spring's (Capemba) 2klm further north towards Amity.
What an amazing day, the perfect place to rax and soak it all up
Awesome experience, walking behind the mangrove curtain and seeing what you can see.
I live at myora, so what can I say, absolutely stunning..
