Amazing lighthouse. Great views. Highly recommended to take the guided tour to be able to climb the 176 steps to the top of lighthouse, see the first order lens and learn about the history of the site. The museum is full of interesting information and historical photos and artifacts. See where the Indian and Southern oceans meet.
Another once great (free) spot now commercialised. $20 for the family to walk closer than 200m to the lighthouse, but can't go in the light house, that will require a mortgage to be paid.....the museum has a couple interesting things, but still quite bare. Most of the info signs around the lighthouse are missing, which would be fine if it didn't cost anything....
We bought our tickets for Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse while visiting Jewel Cave, and the early booking was definitely worth it. The tour was incredibly informative, and the views from the lighthouse are fantastic — right where the Southern Ocean meets the Indian Ocean. I’m really glad I made the effort to visit. A tip: try to schedule your visit to avoid queues, especially in holiday season when coach groups can fill up the limited tour slots.
What a gem. Cannot miss while in the area. Wind swept headland. Admire vast seascape and wild and untamed coastline. Lightkeeper's cottage well presented for viewing. Discover history through some short videos, lightkeeper's stories. This is the tallest lighthouse on mainland Australia.
This was my first lighthouse tour experience. Definitely recommend paying the $22 per adult fee to go up inside the lighthouse & on the balcony. It was nothing short of amazing! The views from up top were beautiful.
Nice stop to enjoy the view at the southern end of Australia. A few things to explore in the area of the lighthouse including the cabin which has plenty of information and the tour of inside the lighthouse is interesting. Tour guide was a true blue Aussie that tells some entertaining stories but the hike to the top is the only challenge on this tour. Once at the top the views are spectacular and tour guide was happy to take photos for everyone and continued to share information about the area, light house and the ocean.
We had an outstanding experience at Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse today. Our guide, Paul, was excellent – down-to-earth, genuine, and nothing like the usual cookie-cutter tour. His presentation flowed naturally and shifted with the questions people asked, which made the whole thing far more engaging and personal. You could tell he really knows his stuff and actually enjoys sharing it. Easily one of the best guided experiences we’ve had in WA. Highly recommend.
If u like hiking- u must visit this point Besides lighthouse, there are several routes with absolutely spectacular views. U can also observe whales) tails) However, be careful- a lot of house flies

Magnificent tour guide (so sorry not to remember name) - knowledge was incredible. It's an underground science lesson with beautiful results - how lucky are we to have these amazing tites & mites to view. Highly recommend - fun light shows included in the tour also.
Brilliant cave system along with tour guide. Richard has a lot of information. Inside the cave is spectacular. 250 stairs to walk up n down. Buy ticket in advance on school holidays so you don’t miss out. Highly recommend it Jewel Cave 💕
An excellent visit. Couldn’t fault it. Thank you Sophie and Ming for the memorable tour. You need to arrive 10 mins early and then might be tempted to purchase some gift items while waiting for the tour to start! $25 per adult for 1-hour guided visit. Plenty of photo opportunities
An absolutely amazing experience at Jewel Cave Yanchep! The cave itself is stunning and full of fascinating natural formations and history. But what made the visit truly special was our guide. I don’t remember his name, but he was incredible! Very friendly, jolly, and full of humour, he kept everyone engaged and made the whole tour both educational and entertaining. My daughter especially loved exploring through the cave it was such a fun and memorable family adventure. Highly recommend visiting if you’re around Yanchep it’s a perfect mix of nature, history, and great storytelling. Also there is so many things you can do apart from exploring cave.
Jewel Cave was spectacular. It is a fully guided tour & our guide was Riley & he was excellent. He was only young but he certainly knew his stuff. The Cave is absolutely stunning & totally different to both Mammoth & Lake Caves. I would highly recommend doing this Cave tour, you will not be disappointed.
Wow just wow! I could end the review here as a picture tells more than a thousand words so check out the photos. But this place is awesome and a must do in the Margaret River area. The caves are only accessible via booking a tour and we booked in advance online. Our guide, Keana, was very knowledgeable on the caves and led us underground to see the rock formations, rites, mites and straws. Some great lighting helps show off the caves. Nice little cafe too plus a gift shop area. Stick it on your road trip list.
Really enjoyed the cave, the tour was well worth it, some great information shared by our guide Nick, definitely worth doing. There is a number of stairs, but you do go down deep to get some great pictures, so reminder, what goes down must come up, take your time coming up the stairs theres still some nice pictures to be taken and good to take a small breather lol. We did the early tour 9:30, was very nice and cool not cold at all. Look at the first picture and see if you see Tinker Bell. Recommend going people.
Fantastic! Really fascinating place to visit. Lots of steps so be prepared. Over 3000 years old and just so amazing. The guide (Gary) was so informative. Would definitely recommend.

What an interesting man made feature being slowly taken over by nature. Soon to disappear. A water wheel to drive a pump pushing water up to the lighthouse keeper from a natural spring. Very clever! The scenery surrounding this feature is quite spectacular with a rough sea and coastline. The skies looked threatening today which gave a foreboding feel. Sailers are very brave heading out to sea
This is nature in a snapshot. The day we visited it was pretty windy and pretty rough, but just looked gorgeous. It I have it right, this waterwheel was used to pump water up to the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse (also worth a visit). This is the most South Western tip of Western Australia. Really, really cool.
The Water Wheel at Cape Leeuwin is a fascinating piece of history! It’s well-preserved and gives insight into the area’s past, surrounded by beautiful scenery. Walking around the site is peaceful and offers great photo opportunities. A must-visit for history enthusiasts and anyone exploring Cape Leeuwin!
A beautiful and peaceful spot to unwind, the Water Wheel at Cape Leeuwin is one of the best places to watch the sunset in the region. It’s quiet, secluded, and offers stunning ocean views with the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse in the distance. Perfect for those who love tranquil scenery away from crowds, just bring a jacket, as the wind can pick up in the evening!
Better than lighthouse. Very windy. We can see natural creatures like crab. Good to spend at least 30 min
Nice stop over on a stormy afternoon on the way to the cape. Watch the ocean wash and walk the rock forms, take in the landscape whilst having a snack.
Great drive to Augusta. Amazing scenery including lighthouse and coast. Highly recommended. Fee to go in and see lighthouse but only $7.50 for adults. You can also view from road in many places if you don't want to see up close. Photos attached don't capture the rugged beauty of this place so best to come see for yourself.
This is a lovely peice of history and the views are amazing

Road we took said 4wd access only, definitely on a wet day I wouldn't use it but there is an alternative bitumen road.
Mixed road drive up to Hilltop view. Great expansive view looking over Augusta.
The views are OK but probably nicer to go there a clear day. The visibility isn't great when overcast
Tbh not exactly worth the drive up to here. The views are a little blocked and there's better look out points at other places.
Can see the ocean to the west and the Blackwood River and Augusta to the East: a good view!
Such a amazing view. Especially in winter time when it’s so luscious and green . It’s a must see when visiting Augusta
Kind of hidden place .Nice view and very peaceful.

Nice spot to fish and enjoy natural beauty of vast ocean. Very clean toilet. Boat ramps. A lot of packing.
Stunning Boat Harbour 🛥️ Stopped over on the way to the lighthouse & Coastal views, so glad we did.
Only a short distance south of Augusta is a brand-new marina that is reportedly designed to accommodate larger vessels. Both the architecture and the facilities are really nice.
Absolutely beautiful excellent facilities small Cafe but great for a picnic as well. Dogs welcome. Barbecues and if your lucky the dolphins pay you a visit.
Great rock wall along marina can walk to end beautiful ocean views
We visited this many times but still want to visit it over and over again. There was a lot of improvement. There is a walk way if you like go for a walk along the coast. There is a coffee shop nearby called Ocean pantry. They sell abalone here too. Keen of visiting again
Visited the harbour for a cruise, nice facilities, heaps of parking. Lots of sitting space and bbq area around the boat harbour.
Friendly place with good "chilled feels". Great for all ages and disability access in most areas. Clean, kept well, great for families too. I'm a single woman and I felt comfortable and safe. Lovely neck of the woods!

This is a great little museum and well worth the visit. It covers a wide range of history and topics. The volunteers are very knowledgeable and are happy to explain anything to you.
Arrived at 1.45pm on a Friday and the premises was closed.... came from Geraldton to find some history on great grandfather to be sadly disappointed. No one answered phone number provided.
Friendly staff and a small place with a lot of information. Great place to relax and take your time.
Excellent collection of historic items from the Augusta area. Well worth a visit and highly recommended.
Very helpful and lovely staff, entry by donation (no card facility though so bring some cash), European settlement (English) and some natural history.
Excellent. Lots of historical artifects. Great knowledge of the local area. Well set out.
Very interesting
Fascinating place, most interesting stuff than many other museums. Would have liked a bit more time to have a longer look.

Augusta Mini Golf and Leisure Centre has recently SOLD. The premises is Temporally closed. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all those who supported and visited us over the years. Augusta Mini Golf will re open under New Management very soon.
Friendly staff & excellent mini golf campus. Very fun, family friendly and lovingly designed. A must- visit on any trip to Augusta, fun for everyone.
Looks abandoned not seen any work done grass is over ran
Was not happy as it was closed and did not have any signs or info about being closed other then just a closed sign on the gate. We was all hoping to have fun play pool and mini golf but could not do so. It would be really good if the info was up to date and if its closed for a could of days at a time it would be nice if it was posted online even if it is just on google maps.
Great place to keep the family busy. Pool table, table tennis, arcade games and mini golf. All reasonably priced and the attendants are so friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
A lovely little mini golf course right next to the river. An enjoyable (and very well priced) time with kids
Extremely disappointed, couldn’t be more disappointed, went to play a game of mini golf with 30 minutes before closing and was sent away because we ‘wouldn’t finish in time’, lack of maintenance and flexibility, kids were disappointed and upset.
Just so happened to be there the day Mr. Miyagi sunk a 20 foot putt through the windmill to overcome Ryan "Rebound" Richards in the 63rd Augusta masters playoff.

It's not fancy but everything is spot-on ... rooms clean & well heated, lots of hot water instantaneously, great tv & internet (and you can cast from your phone), beds clean and comfortable. Brilliant location, dedicated parking. Basic self -catering supported with fridge, kettle, toaster, cutlery etc. Food & beverages in the restaurant excellent and reasonably priced. Staff can't do enough to help, very friendly, welcoming and kept us well informed at all times. We'll be back!
Has a great view, we ordered the cheeseburger pizza and spicy chicken pizza. Cheeseburger was unreal, can’t fault it. Spicy chicken was still good but hard to compare! Both bases and crusts were perfect. Reasonably priced.
Great rustic hotel it’s a bit old but don’t let that discourage you the more who support the more they can work on maintaining it. The staff are great to deal with great personality and a sense of humour. Good views of the river behind the hotel and views of the ocean mouth too
We had an amazing lunch at the Augusta Hotel! Yum! Curry Prawns( was big enough as a mains but was an entre) , Pork Belly bites and wedges with abundant sweet chili and sour cream dips! Thankyou for an awesome meal overlooking the mouth of the Blackwood River!
Great view, good service,OK food. Had the Reuben Sandwich which only had 3 paper thin slices of (Woolworths deli) meat....and less chips than my kids (kiddie) burger.
Great Pub food. Great Parmi and the Roast pumpkin, halloumi, walnut salad with chicken was epically delicious. Great service. Beautiful views of Blackwood River down to the mouth
Restaurant meal. Very friendly service. Prompt and efficient. Delicious meal generous portions at a very reasonable price
Service was fantastic. Location also fantastic, nice and close to what you need. Map of where the room was - was absoloutly shocking 😆 Room was very old, ill give credit to both bedrooms being clean but very dated, one light fitting was broken and hanging down off the wall the other didnt even have a globe in it.. we had to take a lamp from the living area and put it in the bathroom to see at night😆.. Every time someone flushed the toilet the entire room would stink up. Security door didnt lock with the key.. For 200 for the night - it's a bit of you get what you pay for... still glad we could fit all of us in :) I think if the light situation had of been addressed prior by a basic pre check by staff it wouldn't have been as annoying. Won't stay again but glad we were able to find somewhere so short notice. Again, lovely staff🥰

Great afternoon had by our family. Enjoyable commentary by the knowledgeable Graeme. Got to see resident dolphins and heaps of bird life. Highly recommended.
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and were thrilled to see so many ospreys and a swamp harrier as well as many other birds. It’s great to have such a knowledgeable guide who can explain the history or the area as well as spot the wildlife. The dolphins even appeared as promised! The binoculars provided were a great asset for seeing some of the birds too. I’d definitely recommend this trip, great value for money
Dolphins, eagles, spoonbills, ospreys plus too many other species to remember, jokes, paperbark trees, lots of local history and information. A great way to spend a couple of hours. Definitely do this if you’re in the area it is very worthwhile.
We went on Graeme's River Tour yesterday. It was so interesting! We had a great time. It was so good to have a tour guide who really knows his stuff, is passionate about Augusta's history and the bird life that live there. Graeme ensured we had a unique view of the water birds and he also made sure the birds weren't stressed by our watching them. I highly recommend this tour - a not to be missed attraction of Augusta Western Australia.
I'd highly recommend this tour. Graeme has a wealth of knowledge on the history of Augusta. It was so peaceful being on the Blackwood River. Highlight was definitely seeing a White Bellied Sea Eagle, and the dolphins even came out to play. Augusta is a beautiful place to visit.
Highly recommend the informative cruise down the Blackwood River with Graeme to see the incredible wildlife. If all onboard agree, you may be able to take a small furry friend along with you too. Will definitely be taking another cruise again when in Augusta!
A really great tour. Graeme is a brilliant guide and has some interesting stories and great knowledge of the area having lived here his whole life. We saw lots of different birds and we were lucky enough to see a pod of dolphins too (but it still would have been fantastic without!). Definitely recommend when in Augusta 👍
Such a wonderful tour of the Blackwood River. Graeme was a very entertaining tour guide, providing interesting information and history about the area. You are provided with binoculars to use. There are plenty of different types of birds to see. We didn't get to see dolphins on our tour, but we had such a great day regardless. Highly recommend that you book your tickets in advance on their website to secure your spot.

Wow what an unexpected surprise. Beautiful course if wanting something different... playing among the bushland. Glimpses of the river and sea. Hilly and challenging in parts. Never putted on black oil sand! Lots of fun. Definitely recommended ⛳
Great course, lovely views overlooking coastline. Friendly members if you run into any.
Really good views and lovely tracks, sand greens are awesome.
Very friendly volunteers, great course, classic country golf.
Great views, sand greens, vollenteer run course. Should be experienced.
Great challenging course set amongst rolling hills. Volunteers very friendly/helpful. If you like waiting in line/hurried along, this place isn’t for you..
The most aesthetically pleasing golf club I've played at yet. Beautiful rolling hills, amazing sand greens and stunning views. It feels illegal to be able to play a course this good for so cheap!
Played here for the first time. Sand greens and verdant fairways. Lots of bush and kangaroos. Well there is bush. But I didn't see a roo just their poo. Great members welcomed me and I ended up playing with two locals. 18 holes for $20. Great value.

Great fishing shop! Had everything I needed. Wide variety of products. The staff was very helpful in choosing the right bait for my fishing trip.
The guy with dark curly hair provided outstanding customer service. It was near closing time but he couldn't of been more willing to help my partner with all things fishing. He was almost a free travel agent, suggesting things to do and see while in Augusta😅 Truly went above and beyond!! We were shocked!
Sarah - very good customer service, thankyou! I had multiple questions around products and she combined in return an impressive knowledge, care and attention. It resulted in lots of answers, purchasing and walking out of Augusta Xtreme Outdoor sports with great products and a want to visit again soon. Thankyou so much Sarah!
My advice, don't even waste your time or money here. The lack of service and support is deplorable. The superior attitude has left me totally bewildered. Take a drive to Margaret River and enjoy a pleasant shopping experience with friendly, knowledgeable staff at BCF.
I love these mum and dad type stores. Personalized service, the owners happy to give advice on fishing tackle and locations to fish. Gave me the heads up that the Salmon aren't running yet, saved me hours on the beach. Prices are a little expensive, although not unreasonable for a small shop like this in a country town
Got all the essential goodies for an outdoor adventure down south, but they also have an extensive list of hire equipment now. I have dropped in for fishing gear and needed to hire a trailer. Customer service was outstanding each time. Thank you
My expierence with the shop I don't recommend it at all bought a cheap rod from them thinking okay just for the river which it was good for what I wanted just the line wasnt strong enough so went back In to get stronger line picked up a spool which was 50lb thinking yep this will do I asked the boy is this okay three times and showed him the rod I bought from them a little 3000 yep that will be fine he said got back to camp tried sticking it on nope to thick and heavy for the rod was so disappointed as I couldn't go fishing due to bad advice from a fishing store that should know about there products even if there young they should of had a experienced person with them. my partner rang up and the lady wouldn't let her speak I listened to the whole conversation she was told that I should of known what I was buying in the first " place as she was explaining was told to stop talking and to let her speak which was highly unprofessional I told her to hang up as she was very rude not to worry about it she msged to say we were rude and was going to exchange but the reception we got from the phone call i never want to go back there whole thing was so unprofessional if you aren't a experienced fisher and you need advice to what you are buying do not go there you will get wrong advice and rude reception and very unprofessional I will never go back to this store or if you do google what you need or tube as otherwise you won't be able to go fishing from lack of right advice
Nice staff and good price but wouldn't recommend using them for stand up paddle board hire as their location is right next to the boating ramp. If you go in the afternoon, you'll also get the wind which makes it quite hard to get out of the boating area.

Marvelous time passed on boat with Graeme and watched swamp birds in a lots. Thanks Blackwood river cruise.
This is a small jetty at the end of Ellis Street in Augusta, one of several at this location along with a boat ramp, public facilities and a small park area with mature trees and a couple of picnic tables. We had our take-away lunch here recently, enjoyed the environs and scenery. It is nice that Augusta has quiet spots like this.
good spot lot’s of fish but not a good size to keep! Nice view.. good spot picnic area for family❤️👌
Just in case you need a reminder of how beautiful the region is, or if you're thinking about skipping Augusta because it's just at the tail-end and you'd rather head Pemberton ways, then you should check out the photos I took on what was a pretty average day.
Very quiet at night, clean n clear water with sea animals can be seen by eyes. Feeling peaceful. Love this jetty and will definitely go back.
Nice spot to sit and eat the fish and chips from the shop at the top of the road.
A lovely jetty just down from the main street, where you can catch a boat and take a 2 hour river trip to see the huge variety of birds that inhabit the islands and land around the Blackwood River. There are free public toilets and free parking.
Nice and calm place with river view. Good place to fishing. Boat hire also available this place.

My wife and I visited here in Oct 2021. The Whaling Memorial is located in a lovely grassed picnic area on the beachfront in Flinders Bay. There are information boards the tell of the whaling history of the area. A very nice place to picnic in a quiet and historic area of Augusta.
Beautiful picnic grounds right on the beach. Toilets, tables and white Sands with crystal clear waters. Stunning
We came here by accident. It was a great place to have a picnic on your way to the lighthouse
Good for family picnic near the beach. Good facilities including public toilets, playground, a few tables & chairs surrounding the foreshore. Beautiful scenery with clear water & blue sky. Very safe area for children to swim or snorkelling. Easy access to there which may take 15mins from Augusta town, Western Australia. If you would like to explore more in surrounding, the lighthouse is a must to visit, a short offroad track as well.
We come here every year we love this place
Lovely sandy beach and wonderful colours in the sea. Atmosphere so clear could see coastline up to 100 k"s away.
Flinders Bay is one of my favourite places very relaxing very friendly locals great place for a spot of fishing I know swim we are not getting bashed around by the waves.
Great signage describing the important role this town played in the settlrment of the area as well as its whaling history, not to mention the fact that it was the location of the largest saving of whales that had stranded en mass.
