The Sarsaparilla beer is a must. Great place for an authentic afternoons beer in a great spot. Food is great too.
I'm not really a craft beer guy, but I enjoyed trying the different beers here. Highly recommend the pizza too. The whole place just looks like a giant man cave. Brilliant. Just needs a PlayStation and giant tele in the corner.
Had a quick stop here and I had the mulled wine, which was really lovely on a cold day. The fire was lovely and had a great variety of beers on offer. They also have a kitchen but wasn’t open at the time that we were here.
If you are exploring the Granite Belt, make sure you plan an afternoon at the Brass Monkey. It's an awesome, rural-style microbrewery with a wide range of unique brews from a pleasant Kolsch through to a complex Stout. Great local beers in a friendly atmosphere.
Love the beer. Unique, and satisfying. Love the Tomahawk and the XPA especially, but have really liked all that I tasted. Great food too. Ernie knows and shares so much about the beer and history of beer. Must visit on the Granite Belt.
Good beer selection. But their website says the kitchen is open on Sunday until 19:30pm but they decided to close it leaving us without anywhere to find food. Nothing else open nearby.
Great place - do Gluten free Yummy pizza! Husband loved the beer paddle and while we waited for the pizzas to arrive! Recommend to call before you come - very popular and COVIDSAFE restrictions meant they were turning people away. - walking/ riding distance from Ridgemill estate if you stay there 😉
Great boutique brewery - friendly owners who love talking about their wide range of beers ( if you ask). Can purchase 7oz "taster trays" to try different beers from their range, while enjoying their pizza / sweet potato chips. We also tried their alcoholic Sarsaparilla, Raspberry &Ginger Selzer, Ginger beer - loved the Sars and Raspberry !! Highly recommend their country hospitality, especially if camping in nearby Girraween National Park.

I think all previous negative reviews should be dismissed, me and my partner went and the man treated us with such kindness, his dog was lovely too. I think people expect too much from a small, country, cheese factory. The man does what he loves, and he does an amazing job at it!
A great place to visit with lots of interesting stuff to look at. Some beautiful wines and cheese to taste. We especially loved the Pinot Gris and the Liquer Muscat not to mention the wonderful aged cheddar. Thank you Bruce for a lovely tasting and great conversation.
Very hands on staff, likes a chat and does a good tasting The cheese we brought was quite nice . The mead we sampled was good, haven’t opened the ones I brought yet. Lots of interesting wood work around
We went here for some cheese. Left with three bottles of wine, 2 chilli sauces and cheese. The guy was who runs it is fab!! Lots of other bits and pieces to buy. We will be stopping by for some more before we leave!
This was my forth visit from sydney since 2011. I cannot express my love for all their produce. I bought all 3 soy sauce as they bring the best of flavors in food. The wine and port is always spot on. If you can get your hands on the triple Brie cheese, don’t miss the opportunity. Highly recommend. Very friendly and worth every penny.
Quirky off the track winery and cheese factory. Fantastic owner who is extremely welcoming. Cheese, especially Grumpy Old Man Cheddar, is exceptional. We'll worth the visit. Even just to pat Archie the border collie.
What an experience! Yes, hand-made wines to sample together with tempting liquors and cheeses and stories. Also hand craftwork of all kinds in timber and curios for the bohemian inclined. Loved it!
What a surprise Severn Brae Estate turned out to be. Called in to try some cheese and perhaps have some coffee. We certainly got this and a lot more. We did not realise it was also a winery and a historic building filled with bric-a-brac. The owner Bruce made us feel very welcome providing generous samples of both cheese and wine accompanied by a nonstop commentary on the building, the wines, his cheeses, and Stanthorpe. We appreciated the stories, the ambiance and the country hospitality. Not everyone will approve of the disordered appearance of the cellar door but very few will have qualms about the cheese and wine, not to mention the hot sauce or the enthusiastic host.

A perfectly peaceful winter getaway for us. Nice, quiet lovely location. The cottage we stayed in had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The owners were excellent at communicating and very hospitable. We will definitely consider coming back.
A wonderful location for a mini getaway, to taste a few wines and indulge in the natural beauty surrounding a cosy, friendly cottage. Fabulous hosts and everything you need is available. Highly recommend!
Arrived at Whiskey Gully Winery late in the afternoon without a booking on the October long weekend. Had been advised by many tourist spots about the need to book. My daughter had been here earlier in the day on a wine tour. After her experience she texted and said we should visit as it was great. Our party of 4 were received gracefully even though another group were expected soon. The lady who did our wine tasting experience was very informative and knowledgeable about their products. Our party felt welcomed and enjoyed the tasting so as result purchased some wines - both red and white. Thank you! Whiskey Gully Wines where to we buy your lovely wines in Brisbane?
Such a beautiful setting for a great winery 🍷. The grounds and the winery evoke the beauty and grandeur of the past. Stepping into the winery you are greeted by furniture and decor of old. The hosts are very knowledgeable and friendly and the wine 🍷 is exceptional. They also have dinning which by the menu will please most.
Thanks for the relaxing stay. Great chalet's looking out onto the peaceful countryside, kangaroos. Everything we needed was in the comfortable chalet. Loved the wines - we were 3 visitors with completely different palates and there were wines we all liked. Thanks for the break.
My partner and I stayed for two nights to get away from the hustle and bustle of Brisbane and was expecting a working winery. To our disappointment it was far from it and basically a farm. The chalet that we paid $240 per night was outdated, had a very musty smell and was not well kept. We felt like we weren't paying guests and were greeted unwelcomly. This place is more suited for an elderly couple that are into bird watching. Very disappointing
Wish i could leave10 stars for this superb property. Absolutely the best winery in the Stanthorpe region. Wines are divine, hosts Denice and John are so informative and so wonderful. Just spent 3 nights at the cottage, so cosy, well equipped, very clean, bed is blissful to sleep on. We have visited and stayed here multiple times and never been disappointed. Thank you so much for having us. Love and hugs Cath and Sarah Meaning to Stop Cafe Forest Hill
What a great getaway. Denise & John just know how to get you to slow down, relax and pamper yourself. Accomodation is perfect, it’s a cottage in amongst a working winery that no one can see or here you. If you’re looking to get away and get some fresh air then this is the place.

We had a great time testing wines with Cheryl in Sabina Lane Wines. The wines are very good and Cheryl and her husband are very professional and passionate.
What a beautiful experience! Such a well kept vineyard. The wines were delicious & the information was superb! The staff were informative & delightful Highly recommend, thank you for having us!
An exclusive and amazing experience, Brad and Cheryl are wonderful hosts. The cellar is beautiful, the land is stunning and cannot recommend this winery enough! Most importantly the wine is 10/10, smooth and delicious. We will continue to visit whenever we are passing through the area. Thanks for having us!
Looks like a first score lower than five. Let me explain. Been to many of the boutique wineries where the owner takes you on a journey. Did not feel this here. The winery is beautiful however so are many of the other boutique wineries we have been too. Other wineries will subtract your wine tasting ($15 per person) off any purchases made! Not here. This winery prides itself on being premium however there are so many other family run wineries that offer a more enjoyable experience and premium wines. Just disappointed.
Brad and Cheryl are the loveliest people and they made the wine tasting experience magical. It was a pleasure chatting to them, learning the history behind their vineyard, seeing their passion for winemaking and of course tasting exquisite wines. Couldn't recommend them any higher.
The most excellent experience on the granite belt so far. Lovely and knowledgeable hosts, beautiful scenery, welcoming celler door environment and fantastic unique wines.
Wow!!! The experience we had with Brad & Cheryl this weekend at their winery was AMAZING! We arrived with hopes and dreams of a tasting as we only noticed the signs saying “tastings by appointment only” as we drove in and although they had a private function on when we arrived, they welcomed us in for an exclusive winery experience and it was one of the best winery experiences we’ve had anywhere in the world. It was great feeling the passion and love they both had for their wines and allowing us to share that experience with them. We loved every minute and wines were as good as it gets without being in Europe. Proudly joined as part of the wine family (Inner Circle) and we can’t wait to get our next delivery of Savina Lane wines soon. Thank you so much Brad & Cheryl for the unforgettable experience and sharing your lifetime of wine knowledge with us. We could not rate our experience any higher. Hats off to you both! You’ll be our first stop when we’re back in town. Josh, Ashlee, Steve & Wendy ❤️ P.S - thank you for the autographed recipe books! Can’t wait to make your tagines!
My partner and I had the most amazing experience ✨️ the best winery we have visited so far. Our experience was all down to the lovely Lee (I hope I spelt this correctly). We will be back.
