My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights for part of the Savour Northland Food Frenzy activities. We really enjoyed our stay here with our room having a great outlook onto the beach. All of the beach resort team members whom we encountered were very welcoming and interested in our reasons for being here and could not be faulted. We dined on the Savour Northland Yellowfin Tuna dinner and found it was prepared and presented as good if not better than any other dining establishment that we have been to. Breakfasts as well were also impeccably prepared and presented with very generous portion sizes. We both really enjoyed our stay here and hope to come back another day.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Excellent Stay at Taipa Beach Resort Friendly staff and very helpful service. A great place for families — the rooms were clean when we arrived, and the beachfront view was absolutely beautiful. The food was delicious! Our children are usually fussy eaters, but they really enjoyed the pizza, chips, and garlic bread — compliments to the chefs! Highly recommend Taipa Beach Resort for a relaxing and family-friendly getaway.
Outstanding experience! Stayed here at the beginning of October and for dinner loved their amazing Savour Northland Challenge dish and matching wine. Room was spacious, clean, comfortable with stunning views. Staff were friendly and professional - can’t wait for the next stay!
A big thank you to Jasmine Samson on reception with my stay this week. Really lovely experience with a warm-welcome provided, going the extra mile to ensure my stay was enjoyable and comfortable. Thank you Jasmine - it was very much appreciated 🙂
I actually stayed here over a year ago and never wrote a review but it came up in my booking.com stays so I figured never too late to share my experience. I booked the master suite I guess you could call it and at the time it was $274. The only reason I booked it because it was listed online as having a “private spa”, there were photos of it as well. Well we turned up and there was no spa. Sooo then we were like ok I guess we’ll just watch some tv. Another thing that was listed was “streaming services (like Netflix)” but then the smart tv was not working so no streaming services for us. Then I had a shower and the showerhead was broken. At this point we requested to change into one of the smaller regular rooms because I don’t really want to be paying this 270 doesn’t have the amenities listed. Mainly the spa because that was the only reason I booked the room. But also with the tv not working in the seperate lounge room it meant we’re basically confined to the bedroom and may as well be in one of the smaller open plan rooms. So we changed into a small room which at the time was listed at 150 per night ($120 difference) and was told someone will get in contact with us in a couple days regarding a refund. So then it pretty much went downhill from there. No one had contacted me so I emailed them to which they offered me a 68 dollar refund lol wthelly I figured the least you can do is refund me the 120 so I pay for the smaller room amount but they refused and said it’s not fair because they had to clean twice. I don’t think it’s fair they are false advertising ammenities the room does not have and it was still listed at the time we were having this back and forth so I wonder how long they were scamming people like this for. They offered a final $100 refund which means I would still be paying more for the smaller room than it was listed online. I refused and quoted the clauses in the consumers guarantees act they were breaching and they basically just stopped replying . THANKFULLY I booked via booking.com to which they gave me a full refund but I wouldn’t trust booking with them directly. I understand mistakes can happen and things can go wrong but it’s about how you go to fixing them and well this was by far the worst customer experience I have ever dealt with.
Loved my stay here. Absolutely wonderful spot on the beach. The staff were excellent and the facilities great. Nice having a pool and hot tub also. Highly recommend!
Went for breakfast, there were about 4 tables of people when we arrived so not overly busy for a saturday, waited over an hour still no food. Went to go and ask what was happening as we had to get going soon and people that ordered after us had finished and started walking out. Tried to get staff attention to get refund and no one at cafe or front reception, a lady out the back smoking a ciggy far too busy to help assist. What a joke. When you have a breakfast menu of about 6 items i don’t understand how it can take so long to cook two meals.
Real good food , beer and atmosphere. Not sure about the rooms because I haven't stayed in one there before.
