Very nice view. There was located on the high hill, you must go by car, drive carefully on the slope hill. it was only 5 km far from dinosaur museum.
Nestled on a hill within the Phu Wiang National Park, this temple is a remarkable destination. The ascent to the temple is not overly steep, but attention is required as you enter the temple gates. Once atop, a spacious parking area awaits before you ascend the stairway to the shrine. The standout feature is the elevated shrine itself, offering a panoramic view of the charming old town encircled by the lush Phu Wiang mountains. Within the shrine, a staircase leads to two more levels. The second level boasts a balcony for taking in the view, while the third level houses the sacred Emerald Buddha statue.
A temple on the mountain where you can drive there. It’s a big temple. You can go upstairs from the 1st floor to the 3rd floor.
Peaceful temple with beautiful view. Inside has buddha sitting in the center of the room. There are 3 floors and on second floor you can go out to see awesome view
Pleasant and pretty. The fish food being sold is in little plastic bottles. It's unnecessary non-recyclable trash. Other than this, it's very worth visiting.
Maybe the most scenic of Phu Wiang's mountain monasteries. It is well developed with a good access road all the way up to the temple as well as a large parking lot fitting even dozens of busses. From this site you can overlook the entire bowl shaped valley forming Wiang Kao District. Part of the area has been afforested from degraded farmland and has since turned into a tropical forest again. The abbot was very friendly and extended the kind of welcoming atmosphere that generally sets Phu Wiang apart from other more tourist centric locations. If you go to see the dinosaurs don't miss this place.
It's a beautiful place. and is quiet can find tranquility.
Beautiful tempel. Definitely worth a visit if you're in/near Phu Wiang. When you go in the morning around sunrise you can 'hold' the sun. You can drive all the way up or walk, although it's quite steep. No entrance fee for the national park required. It can be little difficult to find the way but the people are very nice and can point you in the right direction.
