Nature is unbelievable. Matterhorn has around 430K of marked trails, everywhere you look is a beautiful nature. Valleys, glaciers, hills, fields, cows. Had an amazing hike and will be back hopefully sometime. Would love to Mountain bike here too, its just so beautiful and raw.
Nature is so beautiful, lots of marked trails for hikers and so clean. It is a stunning experience and such a lovely place, recommended for both hikers and those who are not. Train ride up there is around 40 minutes from Zermatt if you are planning to go all the way up, or a bit less if you are planning to hike a bit till the top station.
Phenomenal - very beautiful mountain surrounded by very beautiful landscapes and a great small cozy town, Zermatt🤩. I was there in July 2023 and it was amazing. We had lunch at the restaurant in Schwarzee which was also with a very good view of Matterhorn and the surroundings. I can truly recommend going here, for sure!
This is an awesome mountain. Really steep on the cable car (what do you expect people who have put too steep) and nice and cool from the warm temperatures below (as you'd expect being 4000m above sea level).
Iconic Switzerland at its best. The views of the Matterhorn are simply world-class. Whether hiking, skiing, or just relaxing, it’s magical.
Beautiful mountain scenery and cute sheeps. On Matterhorn, the sheep season was already over in October. But we were lucky to find sheeps on the hills west of Zermatt :)
Probably the icon you could think about Switzerland! Spent 3 days in Zermatt, found it not too difficult to have a look towards the peak as the distance and altitude is not that far away. Rifflesee (Gornergrat area) gives the best view with a mirroring lake surface. The 5 lakes hike in Sunnegga is also spectacular. Both hikes are easy and almost all downhill if you hop off the cable cars from higher stations.
In my experience it was way better than Jungfrau. My family loved it. You can take the tram to the second to last stop and start walking down along the track for a beautiful view of the lake, the top of the mountain, the valley.

Highest gondola in the Alps, rising to a 3,883-m. summit with 360° views of other peaks & glaciers.
Slide 1 of 8
This observation deck offers a direct view of the Breithorn and a spectacular 360-degree view of the Swiss Alps. We recommend taking the gondola from Zermatt, as it's easy to access while enjoying the spectacular view. Glacier Paradise is a cave beneath the glacier, but it's cold even in summer, so a down jacket is a must.
This is the pinnacle of Matterhorn visit for any tourist. The highest cable car station with temperatures hoovering around sub zeros. Here you have three basic options one to visit the panoramic 360 view tower through a lift, second you can walk on the glacier upto the hiking trail to Breithorn and third you can the glacier cave by foot with mesmerising snow sculptures, crevices of glaciers to view live, and a walk through the sub zero temperature. You can easily spend atleast half a day but last of the cable car being at 6 p.m.
I definitely recommend, there activities for the whole day! First go to the top, enjoy the view and snow, you can climb the mountain if you want, enjoy Ice Palace, then. Go slowly down, there is lots of trails , lakes, there is amazing restaurants with the breathtaking view. I started 8.30 and came back to hotel 6pm... It worth every penny!
Overall, this is a great ride up close to the mountain. There’s a bunch of activities to do once you reach Klein Matterhorn. The cable car ride itself is worth the price because of how high it takes you and the views you get. However, if I compare this to Jungfraujoch I felt like our experience was much better in Jungfrau. If you’re in Zermatt though, this is what I’d recommend going for vs Gornergrat.
Wow...we were not sure when we arrived on Sunday evening as it was raining and we could not see anything. We decided to do the glacier paradise which was the best decision. Going up, we ran into heavy clouds and snow, we could barely see 4 m in front of us. The cable car was awesome. There is an ice castle with ice art, amazing stuff. Take extremely warm clothing, it gets below 5 degrees there. There is a good coffee and food shop, with other stuff like gifts, etc. There was snow so we got to play in the snow. The view point was closed unfortunately due to the heavy winds and the matterhorn was not visible. Overall, I'll do it again. And, ALWAYS GET A FULL OR HALF PASS DEPENDING ON HOW LONG YOU PLAN TO STAY. Half pass for short stays, full pass for longer stays.
Climbing the glacier at 3004 meters above sea level was an unforgettable experience. An elevator can also be taken down to a cave with ice images, part of which is located in Italy. The platform is with the elevator up and in good weather you can see an unforgettable view of the Matterhorn.
Matterhorn Glacier Paradise was absolutely amazing. Easy gondola ride up from town, and the views at the top are insane. You’re surrounded by glaciers and massive peaks, and you can even spot mountaineers and skiers out on the snowfields. We hiked the Matterhorn Glacier Trail partway down, and the scenery was nonstop. Alpine lakes, rocky terrain, and the Matterhorn in the background the whole way. Easily one of the highlights of our trip to Zermatt.
Absolutely mind-blowing experience. I cannot recommend this enough, especially if you choose a day with perfect weather. The views are stunning from top to bottom. The Glacier paradise doesn't disappoint, the statues are amazing!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I just had the most incredible week skiing with Matterhorn Diamonds in Zermatt, Switzerland, and I can't recommend them highly enough! From our very first interaction while organising our trip from Perth, the entire team was outstanding. They made planning effortless for our group of nine, even going above and beyond to arrange snowboard instructors for two members of our party. Having one dedicated contact made the process so smooth—special thanks to Rowena for her exceptional support! A huge shoutout to our fantastic instructors who made our experience unforgettable: Chris the pseudo diamond, patient Jack, amazing Ana, good friend Sebastian, and the greatest of all time, Juan! These guys are the 💣! Clearly love what they do and are eager to share that with others. Together, they created precious memories for all of us with loads of fun and laughter. If you're looking for ski instruction, whether you're a beginner or advanced skier, look no further—Matterhorn Diamonds is the place to go. You will not be disappointed! Thank you, team, for an amazing experience!
Juan showed me an absolutely amazing time on the slopes. I was able to really be myself in Zermatt around him, he was honestly the best thing about my trip. Speaking to him about the love for skiing and his excitement has influenced me. I’m no longer afraid to go and try on my own. I can’t wait until next year, I feel so confident because of this! I really can’t believe how fast he taught me. I was turning and skiing within the hour! I was able to send a video to my dad and family back home, as well as friends and colleagues. You will definitely have priority for ski lessons should anyone book. This has changed my entire world in winter sports and I will now be an annual skier. I really can’t say enough good things about this experience!
Lucas made our experience unforgettable. His knowledge of the mountain, his understanding of our needs, and his tips for improving my son’s skiing technique were on point. He was a fantastic guide and instructor. He also gave great advise about restaurants for lunch and dinner.
Would recommend Matterhorn Diamonds Ski School for anyone skiing Zermatt. I toured with Ana and she was outstanding! The resort is so vast that it can be overwhelming. Given the conditions the day we skied, Ana located the best possible runs while navigating areas on the Italian side of the resort then back to Switzerland. We had a full day of great skiing. When I return to Zermatt I will ski again with Matterhorn Diamonds! Thanks Ana!!
My experience with Isabella and the Matterhorn Diamonds Ski School team was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment I stepped onto the slopes, her expertise and passion for skiing were evident. Isabella's patient and personalized instruction elevated my skills to new heights, allowing me to tackle challenging terrain with confidence. I wholeheartedly recommend Isabella and her team to anyone looking to improve their skiing abilities while having an unforgettable experience on the slopes. Thank you, Isabella, for an incredible journey on the mountain! ⛷️🏔️
We booked a private lesson for 2 with Matterhorn Diamonds 2 weeks ago and it was the best decision ever. We were fortunate to have Lukáš as our instructor, which completely changed the way I see and enjoy skiing. He was patient and always looking for our moves and posture, giving advices and building the confidence and proper mindset to approach any slope. We started with less steep blue slopes and gradually increased the difficulty ending up doing red slopes and having one of our best times on ski. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who feels the need to take a few classes and learn how to approach slopes, improve their posture and gain confidence. Thank you Lukáš and Matterhorn Diamonds for the best ski experience and for making me love this sport!
Our experience with Juan and Rowena was exceptional! Last year, my 10-year-old daughter had an amazing time skiing with Juan, thanks to the quick arrangement made by Rowena, even on short notice. This year, we returned to Zermatt, and once again, Juan and Rowena provided us with another fantastic ski experience. Juan's week-long sessions with my daughter were not only enjoyable but also incredibly effective in improving her skills significantly. He managed to strike the perfect balance between keeping the sessions fun and challenging, resulting in my daughter developing a deeper love for the sport. Rowena, on the other hand, was incredibly patient and supportive as I navigated my way through the slopes as a beginner. Despite the unpredictable weather conditions, she ensured that our skiing experience remained engaging and fulfilling. With their guidance, we were able to explore various terrains and witnessed significant improvements in our skiing abilities. I wholeheartedly recommend both Juan and Rowena to anyone seeking top-notch ski instruction. We are already looking forward to returning soon for more unforgettable skiing adventures!
Matterhorn Diamonds were great to work with from start to finish! Some friends and I rented skis, boots, helmets, jackets and pants through their team and they coordinated a guide/instructor for our first day on the mountain. They accommodated all of my requests via email and were very prompt and friendly. I was so grateful for the wonderful ski day their team provided. Juan was our guide/instructor and he was absolutely splendid to spend the day skiing with. I have been skiing my whole life and consider myself an advanced/expert skier from Utah and he was able to provide helpful instruction on ways I could improve as the terrain here is different from my usual. The other skier in our party is more novice to skiing and she was very much improved and more confident at the end of the day with his expert instruction. Juan had such a detailed way of explaining ski movement making his instruction easy to implement on the slopes. He was knowledgeable about the mountain and it’s history/culture and accommodated everything we wanted to accomplish. He was truly wonderful and we so enjoyed our experience with him and the rest of the diamond team.

Unique museum featuring exhibits on regional history & the mountaineers who climbed the Matterhorn.

Matterhorn museum is a very good museum to learn about history and development of Matterhorn and Zermatt village. The entire journey of how a village of farmers got transformed into a major tourist attraction is exciting. You also learn about the mountaineers who lost their lives while climbing Matterhorn, the challenges faced by them, the lifestyle and history of Zermatt village and much more. The entire museum is underground and there are free lockers available to keep your luggage. As the museum opens in afternoon you can come here after your Gornergrat Matterhorn visit. It is close to  Zermatt station just a 10 minute walk. Matterhorn museum is free with Swiss Travel Pass. Tip: The museum focuses more on history of Matterhorn and Zermatt. If you don't like history you might find this place boring.
Matterhorn Museum After exploring the Matterhorn Views itself, with your Swiss Travel Pass you can visit this museum. It has a wide range of history about the city of Zermatt and how it became a touristic city in this age. There’s also a free locker that you can put your bags in before you explore inside the museum. A lot of artifacts from the present and the past. I also like how the animals are involved in building the whole city knowing their contribution.
Excellent tribute to the mountaineers of the past who pioneered alpine climbing in this area long ago. A balanced version of telling the controversial events of the first ascent of the Matterhorn. The audio tour is a must, you will get so much more out of your visit. The museum is only open briefly each day (14:00-18:00) so plan accordingly.
It was much more interesting and informational than I expected it to be. You can see real size houses and models, a small movie theater in the middle of it all. If you have the time, it is definitely something interesting to see.
This is one of the most unique museums we've ever visited, and we absolutely loved it. It offers a fascinating insight into the history of Zermatt, the daring hiking expeditions to the Matterhorn, and the equipment used by climbers over the years. One of the highlights is a dedicated room showcasing an engaging documentary, which adds depth to the experience. It's a must-visit for museum enthusiasts, and a perfect way to spend time, especially on a rainy day!
Nice place to learn about the local history, especially the historic competitive climbs to conquer the Matterhorn peaks and how local tourism developments accompanied. There's an upper exhibit floor and a lower floor with about 5 rooms and a small theater screening a short film. Here you can experience how the locals lived in the past. Overall informative site to spend about 1-2 hours, great for children and adults alike.
I really enjoyed the Matterhorn museum! It's great if you are looking for a quick activity in Zermatt (especially on a rainy day). I enjoyed learning about the early exhibitions and appreciated the detail of the displays!
Loved reading the rich collection of mountaineering histories and seeing how a poverty stuck Alpine town transformed into a world class tourist attraction. The museum also documented the first ascent of Matterhorn very well.

Went to their recent Francis Bacon Exhibit, and it was my first time at the foundation- incredible location, the curation was fabulous and museum staff are super friendly. Also, LOVED the outdoors sculpture park! Definitely coming back here for future exhibits
Great museum with beautiful grounds and park. We visited the museum for the special exhibit, from Renoir to Van Gogh. The exhibit was very interesting with many unique paintings. The regular exhibits of antique cars was very educational. The collection of photos of Giannadda definitely worth visiting.
The Tintin exhibition was incredible! The cars were a welcome surprise The employees are very friendly and a student ticket only costs 12 chf. Lovely museum shop. The coffee shop was gorgeoooouuus though I didnt have time for it
Unique venue, worth a visit. The TinTin collection was interesting. The vintage car collection was ok. Temporary exhibit of Armand Hammer collection probably presented not the best works of Vincent Van Gogh.
It is a luxurious collection of old cars and paintings. Unfortunately, all of the exhibitions and annotations are only in French.
Very nice museum, small but cute. There is an exhibition that changes time to time, and two areas dedicated to the main characters of the museum. There is also one area with the cars of the beginning of 20th century. There are 2 cafeterias, one indoor, very cute (like a step back in time), and one outside in the garden, where it is really pleasant to sit and enjoy the park and the weather. The park is also interesting, with pieces of art of various artists placed here and there. Suggested.
The museum is not big, but has such an eclectic variety of collections that's its a very entertaining way to pass an hour - no matter what you're interested in. There's a potted collection of roman artifacts, early cars, contemporary sculpture and decorative arts. The Cafe in the sculpture garden is a great place for a leisurely aperitif or on a sunny day. The history of Roman Martigny is well explained in French and German, but most other signage is in French only.
I took a friend there to see the vintage car collection and we were happy with the visit except for the very rude staff member called Martine. I was telling my friend about how Anker used red in most of his paintings as told during my previous guided tour. Martine then said very loudly about me being too close to the painting which is impossible because of the barrier. They can easily get their surveillance cameras to see that I was no where near paintings. She then said very loudly in French to another customer that 'some people don't understand anything ' in French, referring to me. Now that I can no longer find my previous review also about her rudeness, I guess she remembers me. My friend's first thought was her being racist, but I sincerely hope not. It was such a shame that how a rude staff member can totally spoil an almost perfect experience. Honestly, she should not be working there.

This is a wonderful thermal bath! Location is breath taking!!!!! Love the inside and outside pools, wash areas are clean and super well stocked. Absolutely recommend at least a 3 hour stay.
I’m glad I ignored the handful of negative reviews, which mostly are from a few years ago. These thermal baths are quiet, in a stunning location and with helpful, friendly staff. The view from the outdoor pool is beautiful, the spa “village” is very good and the Aufguss - every two hours - was excellent; the man who led it was a master with the towels! The Roman-Irish bath was well done - sure, it’s not Baden-Baden and the facilities are a bit tired in places, but I’m very pleased I made the trip.
Wanted somewhere to relax after a day waking in the mountains and was going to go to one of the other pools after reading the reviews. The other place was too busy for me so decided to ignore the reviews and try here. So glad we did. The pools are lovely and the outdoor pool has a stunning view It wasn't at all crowded and so relaxing. Yes the changing rooms may need an update and some of the lockers too but they were clean and the staff helpful and friendly
The Spa/ Therme is in a bad condition. In the shower the handle fall off, lights are broken, the floor in the water is dirty. Multiple elevators are broken. One Sauna is out of orders for years and I payed 40.- CHF for 3h. All that said, it's a shame cause the building itself is beautiful and has a great view. And the idea of an underground Sauna village is also beautiful. Because it's so run down you also have not many people around either what is nice at least. Of you owner of this spa reading this review: Please please please renovate this spa! It would be a shame to see it go under.
Lovely spa, quiet with lots of capacity and a great variety of facilities. Possibly it could be described as dated but I don't think that detracted from my experience.
I absolutely love this thermal bath, amazing pools with incredible views, it's just simply gorgeous and the saunadorf is so unique and nice. Beautiful architecture.
we were checking this place out to experiance another thermal spring in leukerbad. sadly this place wasnt worth going since it was almost deserted (including the mal which was almost dead (most shops where closed for good and empty), and the baths were poorly visited (mid july!). it was a weird experience. economicaly this doesnt seem to check out anymore. also lots of stuff in bad shape and poorly maintained.
It feels unrealistic to be able to take a hot spring bath in the middle of the Alps. The hotel is quite spacious and convenient. The surrounding scenery is breathtakingly beautiful and doesn't let you take your eyes off it. Maybe that's why everyone I meet greets kindly each other.

If you’re looking for a truly unforgettable experience in Switzerland, the Jungfrau Observatory is a destination you absolutely can’t miss. The moment you step out onto the observatory’s viewing platform, you’re greeted with panoramic alpine vistas that seem almost unreal—stretches of glittering snow, dramatic mountain peaks, and a sky that feels close enough to touch. It’s an exhilarating rush standing amid such natural beauty, and the sensation of being perched “at the top” of Europe stays with you long after you leave. The observatory itself is more than just a place to admire the views. Warm, welcoming indoor spaces invite you to relax, whether you want to sip coffee as you gaze out over the peaks or take in ice sculptures and other surprises tucked within the premises. There’s a lively, international energy here, with visitors from all over the world united in their awe. What truly sets Jungfrau Observatory apart is the sense of wonder it inspires. Whether you visit on a crystal-clear summer morning or a misty, mysterious day, it’s an experience filled with joy, discovery, and the magic of feeling high above the world. If you love nature, adventure, or simply want a memory you’ll treasure forever, this spot should be on your travel list.
A truly once in a lifetime experience. We purchased tickets the day before as we weren't sure the weather was going to be good or not but it was perfect. Also very wheelchair friendly. We spent about 4 hours up there which gave us enough time to have lunch at the dine in restaurant and also see all the viewing points and experience the Ice Palace without rushing. There were also some snow activities you could participate but that would have required a bit more time. It was busy but manageable.
A truly unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experience! We booked our tickets just a day in advance, unsure about the weather—but it turned out to be absolutely perfect. The entire area was impressively wheelchair-friendly, making the visit comfortable for everyone. We spent around 2 hours exploring, which gave us ample time to enjoy a relaxed lunch at the dine-in restaurant, take in all the scenic viewpoints, and explore the magical Ice Palace without feeling rushed. There were also some exciting snow activities available, though they would have required a bit more time. It was a bit busy, but still very manageable and thoroughly enjoyable.
Standing at the “Top of Europe” surrounded by breathtaking Alpine peaks and sparkling glaciers felt truly magical. The train journey itself was scenic, and once there, the crisp, fresh air combined with the incredible panoramic views made it a highlight of my trip. The blend of natural beauty and the impressive mountain infrastructure created an awe-inspiring and peaceful experience.
Wow The breathtaking views and superbly managed facility with so many visitors and yet everything works just perfectly fine. If planning to reach around lunchtime, it's better to book restaurants in advance. Because everything it gets sold out pretty quickly In my opinion, if you truly want to enjoy the place, then 2 hours is not sufficient. Because that is as far as discovery tour goes. But if you want some time to be doing some activities, it can take up to 4 hours.
When you arrive at this spot in Switzerland, you really don’t need to think twice — just buy a ticket to Jungfraujoch. But here’s a tip: since the weather at the summit changes quickly, it’s best to check the official website first. They have live cameras, so to avoid wasting money, check the conditions in advance — after all, prices in Switzerland are truly expensive.
Our trip to Jungfraujoch was absolutely breathtaking—hands down more impressive than Mt. Titlis. The panoramic views from the Top of Europe were stunning, and we especially loved the sledging experience, which added a fun and adventurous touch to the day. One thing to note: food at the summit is quite expensive. We recommend grabbing some snacks or a light meal from the Coop supermarket located near the base station before taking the cable car up. It’s a smart way to stay fueled without overspending. We visited in August, and the weather was surprisingly warm. A single jacket was more than enough—no need for woolen caps or gloves. Overall, the entire experience was magical and well worth the trip.
Great place to see. Check Webcam in the morning depending on what time of the year. Make sure its not cloudy in the mornings the take your shot. We got lucky.

We had two private lessons with Chris. First, Ski Zenit was able to accommodate our selected time slots. That really helps our schedule. Chris was down to earth and personable. He identified our needs and improved our skills with targeted exercises. He made the learning enjoyable and rewarding. I will definitely recommend him as a ski instructor.
I wanted my son to brush up on his skiing this August after his travel baseball season ended in July. He played football last school year but decided to join the high school ski team this winter. Since he hadn't skied very often the last couple seasons I contacted Ski Zenit and asked if they could help him shake off the rust. Since this is a camp for experienced ski racers we opted for a 5 day private lesson on the Saas Fee glacier. Rich was my Ski Zenit contact and he couldn't have been more accomodating. He planned our transportation from Geneva and laid out everything we would need to be prepared and make this excursion a success. My son's ski instructor, Chris, sent us daily videos and kept us informed of his progress. He improved dramatically over the week and we couldn't be happier with his progress. Way to go Ski Zenit!
Had a great experience taking lessons with Chris! He taught us so much in two days; I felt much more confident after just our first lesson. Chris was able to tailor the lessons very well to everyone’s skill level, and took us to a variety of terrains where we practiced and improved on various techniques. I would 10/10 recommend Chris and Ski Zenit if you want to improve your skiing and have fun doing it!
Amazing lesson- my first time to take private lessons. Finally after years of trying to learn I feel more confident! My instructor, Max, was fantastic! Patient and great company. He made it look so easy. The staff had excellent communications before we arrived as well. Highly recommended.
I had an incredible experience with Ski Zenit! After 28 years away from skiing, I decided to book a private lesson, and I was lucky enough to have Chris as my instructor. His teaching approach was clear, patient, and highly effective. In just one session (2.5h), he taught me the essential skills I needed to move forward confidently. Chris made everything easy to understand and apply, and his encouragement was incredibly motivating. I can't recommend Ski Zenit and Chris enough – if you're looking to improve or get back into skiing, this is the place to start!
I had an amazing experience with Max as my ski instructor! He was incredibly patient and kind throughout the lesson, always encouraging me and making me feel comfortable. Max helped me regain my confidence on the slopes, and thanks to his expert guidance, I managed to conquer an icy red slope without fear. I couldn't have done it without him! Highly recommend Max to anyone looking to improve their skiing skills or just enjoy their time on the slopes. Thank you, Max!
We booked the trainer Ellen for 1 week. We had so much fun and where able to ski on the first day. Ellen is quit and very professional. We had really a great time. The video shows Ellen and our daughter. We will definitely come back to Zenit School and hopefully Ellen. Kind regards, Marco, Daniela and Anna.
We had a fantastic experience with Zenit. Our instructor Tim was brilliant, super patient, fun and helpful. The children said he’s the best instructor they’ve ever had, and they have both made huge progress. The whole team at Zenit were so and accommodating. I highly recommend this company - 5 stars!

We visited Leukerbad Therme today and absolutely loved it! The hot springs and thermal pools were incredibly relaxing — the perfect combination of warm mineral water, bubbling jacuzzis, and soothing hydro-massage zones. We’ve been to other thermal spas before, but this one truly stands out for its unique atmosphere and natural charm. The mineral water felt rejuvenating, and the entire experience was peaceful and refreshing. We had a wonderful time, felt fully relaxed, and truly enjoyed every moment of our visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in the heart of the Swiss Alps!
Absolutely wonderful place for the family. Lots to do, spotlessly clean, friendly staff. No matter the weather this is a great year round activity. After you have paid you don’t need to worry about anything else, your wrist band is your locker key and how you pay at the bar. On the way out scan your wrist band on the pay machine and pay for your drinks.
Much remains the secret of nature, but what is known makes Leukerbad absolutely extraordinary. It takes an unbelievable 40 years for the seeping mountain water deep in the Alps to be enriched with valuable minerals, warmed to the perfect temperature of up to 51° Celsius, and transformed into thermal water. Only then does it bubble naturally from the earth and flow into the Leukerbad baths. To step into these waters is to experience true Alpine wellness, a gift of nature that has been patiently prepared for decades. The Leukerbad Therme is the largest thermal bath in the entire Alpine region, and it truly deserves its reputation as an Alpine wellness paradise for young and old. With ten relaxing baths, family-friendly slides, and a modern sauna area offering a wide range of wellness and natural healing options, this place is unforgettable. The backdrop of the Alps, combined with the charm of the beautiful town of Leukerbad, makes the experience even more magical. We stayed from 8 in the morning until 8 at night and enjoyed every moment. The pools are soothing, the atmosphere is rejuvenating, and the spa treatments are exceptional. Be sure to request Nicole for your massage or treatment, as her care and expertise make the day even more special. From bathing in the thermal waters to indulging in the wellness services, the hours simply slipped away in pure relaxation and joy. This is not just a place to visit, it is a place to linger. A single day is wonderful, but a few days are ideal in order to fully enjoy both the Therme and the many beautiful hikes that surround Leukerbad. Between the healing waters, the serenity of the spa, and the natural beauty of the Alps, this is truly a destination like no other. If you are searching for an experience that combines wellness, fun, and breathtaking scenery, the Leukerbad Therme is perfect. It is a place to restore body and spirit, to laugh and relax, and to create memories that will last forever.
I have absolutely loved it. There are so many things to do: water slides, outdoor and indoor pool, pool bar, sauna and so on. There are also facilities to people with children. Minuses: - Towel is not included, so bring yours. - We did not find any water fountains.
Worth doing at least once ! I really enjoy the place… you can just swim on top, or slide in the tube with the kids!! Or just relax on the other level, where water is just so great…
I have visited this location during both the winter and late summer seasons, and the views were consistently impressive. The water temperature was notably pleasant. While the buildings exhibit some age, the environment offers a relaxing and enjoyable experience for visitors of all ages. Furthermore, the pricing is quite reasonable, especially for Swiss standards. The facility also provides a small dining area for guests who wish to bring and consume their own meals.
I liked the landscape and the diversity of options, both indoors and outdoors. I didn't find the installations particularly beautiful, but they were clean, perfectly working, and all seemed fairly priced. We didn't wait, and the employees were very welcoming.
The main indoor and outdoor pools look newly renovated and are in excellent condition. There’s also a children’s pool and a small play area, which makes it great for families. The spa area is in good shape, though a bit small. It includes a steam bath, three or four saunas at different temperatures, and a cold-water pool outside. The spa area is nude-only, and access to it costs an additional 15 CHF. Overall, a very pleasant and relaxing experience.

I went there with my son and my mom. We tried the Jurassic Jones room and it was extraordinary! The level of creativity was amazing and our host was the most cooperative and fun to play the game with! Don’t forget to live the whole experience by wearing the clothes 😄.. Also when you reach the place, it might be a bit tricky to find, look at the side of the building and you will find the entrance 👍🏻.. Thank you Trap game.. can’t wait to join you again in another room ✨
This a great place for all ages and abilities. We visited the toy factory room as a family - 2 adults and 2 kids. The lady running the escape game was very passionate and clearly explained the whole game. It was available in English. We had a great time here and would recommend it to anybody.
We did an amazing Valais themed escape room over the winter holiday. My husband is swiss but I'm American, we also had my (also american) 2 younger brothers with us. As far as I know, this is the only escape game company in the area that can give instructions in English! The game was also super fun so we'll definitely be back and I recommend this place to both english speaking tourists and locals.
So great ! We spent a really nice moment with our children. They were so excited to do it and enjoyed a lot. We choose Sherlock's home for a first escape game in family. The personel is really friendly and the ambiance is such well done. We will probably come back soon. I recommend. Don't hesitate to try.
Rather old-style escape rooms with many locks and medium hard riddles. The best room of this location is Jurrasic Jones which has very nice decoration. The best room of this company - Pirates of the Blacktrap - is in a different location though so take care when you're booking where you have to go.
Had a great time with my friends, they have a lot of fun themes.
Fun escape room. Did the Alcatraz, lots of fun

Last month, I visited jungfrau, the “Top of Europe” in Switzerland. It’s an amazing place to visit, with fantastic viewpoints offering breathtaking views. The experience was unforgettable. While it can be a bit expensive, it’s definitely worth it for the lifelong memories you’ll take with you. If you visit Switzerland, make sure to see this place!
Family loved it. We would early in the morning to avoid the crowds and still get some sunshine. It was extremely expensive and very touristy but so long as you know that going in it won't be a shock.
We were pleasantly surprised with how much there was to do up there! It was definitely under-advertised. We could have spent 3+ hours there if we had done a little hiking too. There was the lookout area, the glacier area, the ice palace and the snow fun park. We had so much fun! The tubing and sledding was $20 per person to ride for 25 minutes. It was awesome!! There was also a zipline I believe. The whole experience was expensive, but there was a lot to do up there and we were lucky enough to go on a sunny day so we felt it was worth it! (We did get it at 50% off because of our Jungfrau Travel Pass)
A world class but expensive tourist attraction. It cost me $500 U.S. dollars roughly for two people but the experience did not disappoint. The initial gondola ride up was super amazing. They have ten stations set up top for you to look at. Also make sure to check the webcam before you go to make sure the weather is good.
Last month, I had the incredible opportunity to visit Jungfrau – the "Top of Europe" – in Switzerland. The panoramic views from the top were absolutely breathtaking, making it one of the most memorable experiences of my travels. While the trip can be on the pricier side, the stunning scenery and unforgettable moments make it truly worth every penny. If you're planning a trip to Switzerland, this iconic destination should definitely be on your list!
Although this is definitely a tourist trap, I absolutely enjoyed visiting and seeing all the beautiful scenery from above! Plenty of activities for every age and you’re able to walk on the plateau and an overlook that you can see the glaciers from both views! I highly recommend it!
Wow. The highest peak in the whole of Europe. It should be the first on the lost if you are planning to visit Switzerland. You get lost in the moment. Just superb. Must visit. TIP: Get your voucher exchanged for tickets at the lauterbrunnen or wengen train statin. Visit early in the morning for less crowd.
An absolute dream trip! Jungfrau Top of Europe is beyond words. The views from the top are breathtaking, surrounded by snow, glaciers, and endless mountain peaks. The train ride up is scenic and smooth, and once you reach the summit, it truly feels like being on top of the world. A once-in-a-lifetime experience that I’ll never forget!

Just perfect! Deserves more than 5 stars. Lots of thoughtful things for family. The parc has so many details and is very well made. They have a train schedule with live tracking (better than German train) and even announcements (see video). So many different trains and train rides to take. Lots of free picnic areas for family, they even have microwaves free to use. The snack restaurant offers simple foods but at a very good quality. The chicken nuggets are made with good quality chicken, large pieces and you can tell homemade. They have real working steam locomotives ( not just fake steam/sound) and many famous trains from switzerland. Even a cogwheel train! The park has many scaled down paths and attractions. It's all half-sized or "children" scaled. They really modeled it after the real thing. If it weren't for the size it looks like the real thing. You can spend easily the whole day there. You can buy tickets in advance for better prices. I was one a schools day and it was well visited, most trains pretty full, so buy ahead. The care and detail that goes into the place is so amazing. You will have a great experience!!!
Lovely place with train rides & beautiful views .
3 long miniature trains, kids will enjoy the rides, and big kids as well. Amazing atmosphere surrounded by the mountains. Restaurant and cafeteria are available inside. Parking area for strollers. Limited paid car park outside. Suitable for under 10.
Ok, if there are any relatives or friends from Switzerland who want to have a garden in my place, please contact me. I am ready to help, thank you.
Great place to discover the Swiss and not only trains. Steam trains are the most impressive! I go once a year at least. Favourite time is October as ot gets decorated for the theme.
This is a place that everyone should visit with their kids. We went there with our 7, 5, 4 years old kids. They collected the different colors of eggs, and they were very happy to participate in the Easter celebration 🐣. The only downside was that people didn't want to leave the trains so that other people would ride them to the next station. But that is just how people are, nothing to do with the organization. We all had a wonderful time.
A Lovely place, for kids and adults to enjoy and who love miniature trains! Has a bunch of trains to ride on, but all run on the same track (which is gorgeous). The size of the park vs. the activity is used to its limit. However, things can be suggested to make it better. Highly recommended!
Great place to visit with young children. Conveniently located next to the train station and lots of parking. They have places to eat or shaded benches to picnic. Better to bring a baby carrier than a stroller because you'll need to park it at the entrance to ride the trains. The park is a good size for small children and easy to walk around.

Dream destination for every hiker, explorer and adventurer. You can also get there by train, cable car which gives you access to stunning views on the way. On the top you will find lots of attractions, opportunity to see glacier. After all you can relax in the coffee shop or eat at the bars. Amazing experience to remember for a years 👌
A great half day. The Gondola ride is picturesque. Even though it was cloudy when I left in the morning you pop up over the clouds after a few minutes. Stunning views of the mountains, tigers, etc. Clouds had lifted for the ride down and had stunning violets of Grindewald. On top of the mountain is fun. I went solo as a 55 year old and enjoyed the views and Discovery circle. They say to plot 3.5 hours plus. I did everything I wanted to in 1.5 hours. If I had a sit down meal I could have stayed a little longer. Ir if I had younger kids it would take longer. Still about a 4 hour trip. It's not cheap. Not sure if I would have done it without a discount with my Eurail pass or if Inhad all 4 family members. If budget is no concern do not hesitate. Transportation and facilities all clean and plenty of bathrooms. Glad I went.
Jungfraujoch is a brilliantly organized alpine destination. The Eiger Express makes the ascent fast and smooth, and the entire complex including tunnels and elevators. Wide walkways is designed for effortless access. The blend of historic railway engineering with a modern visitor center is world class. Don’t miss the Lindt Swiss Chocolate Heaven outlet, the highest in the world, with great gifts and exhibit. For sit-down dining, book the Crystal restaurant in advance. The hot chocolate is outstanding, and even the chocolate ice cream is a delightful surprise. A magnificent, seamless experience overall.
One of my top activity during my swiss trip. Would say must visit once atleast a lifetime. Stunning view and extremely cold around -5 degree during atumn. Nice photoshooting spot as well. However the queue to take the photo up to 40mins.
A true highlight of any tourist’s first trip to Switzerland. Very well run and maintained, worth the high prices for the quality of infra provided. The hike to the glacier is also really nice and a good experience for people new to snow.
The place is Heaven on Earth. Every moment is memorably beautiful. The history and the architecture is mesmerizing. Highly recommended to visit when you are in Interlaken, Switzerland. 👍👍👍
Visiting Jungfraujoch was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Nestled high in the Swiss Alps, this breathtaking destination offers panoramic views that are nothing short of magical. From the moment I boarded the cogwheel train in Grindelwald, the journey itself felt like a scenic dream—snow-capped peaks, charming alpine villages, and dramatic cliffs all around. Despite the altitude, the facilities were excellent: warm cafés, informative exhibits, and friendly staff made the experience comfortable and enriching. It’s a bit pricey, but absolutely worth it for the views and the unforgettable atmosphere. Whether you're a nature lover, a photographer, or just looking to experience the majesty of the Alps, Jungfraujoch is a must-visit. I left with a heart full of awe and a camera full of memories. it can get quite crowded on weekends, especially during peak seasons. If you prefer a quieter experience, consider visiting on a weekday. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We had a great afternoon up on the highest point of Europe 🌍 we couldn't see a foot in front of us 😞 outside..but we'll worth the experience 😀 we went up by gondola 🚡 then by a cable train 🚃we had lunch up there also... not much to choose from but tasty at the same time 😀 be very aware of the low levels of oxygen...

Great recreation and you can take your own food. There are microwaves to warm it up and enjoy!
Great place to have fun! For grownups and children! I liked the slides. The only thing that I didn’t like is that a lot of the restaurants inside were closed with only one option to buy although complete I really wanted a piña colada and other drink and food options.
It's a good place in Swiss Rivière for the emotional adventure with your loved ones. A lot of different locations for all ages, several food corners, saunas. Friendly and attentive staff. Every time I'm happy to visit this aqua park and recommend to you.
Its a wonderful layout and water is kept clean and warm. it’s all around fantastic except one issue - they should limit capacity. It honestly can be too crowded sometimes and would be better (albeit less profitable) if they capped the number of guests. waiting 10 minutes for a slide is no big deal…but 45 minutes for a slide makes it hard for a daddy with his little ones. It’s probably best to visit when everyone has school and your kids are “sick” for a special day.
Great day, great facilities. Only 2 small issues - lack of visible toilets around the park meant my son had an accident as we couldn’t find any in time. Secondly, our digital wristband didn’t work and we lost 40 minutes of our session time trying to sort it. However, when the bands were replaced and reconfigured, a member of staff reset our 4 hour session from that point so the time was more than made up, which was really appreciated. Overall, we had a brilliant time.
Great for a day out with the kids, but a little disappointed that it shut 30 mins early, having bought 180 CHF of end of day tickets. When I booked I checked the closing time, and when we were there, waiting for the wave pool to start, we were told time's up. So no idea if the wave pool is any good. The slides are great though, with the orange one being a personal favourite. The lazy river is fun too.
A fun day out! Took our 7 year old who had a blast! Good changing facilities, the lockers tied to a wristband that you also use for food payments, so no need for coins, cards or notes inside. Good water slides, wave machine, lots of smaller pools throughout, but we spent a mosy of oir time in the river rapids. Only downside is the food is a bit rubbish (hotdogs and waffles, slushies, etc), but the kid loves that also so not bad for her!
It was not what we expected. We initially bought the tickets online as a family package (it was the only option available online for families). When we arrived at the park they told us that our youngest daughter got access for free and we had to go through the whole process again by paying at the counter and the park would reimburse us for the online purchase, and they actually did, but it is a waste of time. It is a bit overpriced, there is no control of the number of people that can enter, therefore when there are many people the spaces, chairs and/or sunbeds are all occupied. All rides are good, spaces for kids are great, food is average. They don’t have towels available, so we had to buy them at the counter, too expensive and made of the worst quality. We have to throw them out after just one use.
