The Sagrada Familia is truly a masterpiece. It's a unique and must-see structure. Construction is still underway, and it's expected to be completed around 2026. New details are being added every day, and I'm amazed every time I see this monument. We paid 26 euros per person to enter. It costs 26 euros for those under 30, and 30 euros for those 30 and over. I recommend purchasing tickets from the Sagrada Familia official website before arriving. There are some scam sites, so you should choose the official website. There's a long line to buy tickets, but if you have your tickets online, simply scan the QR code when the time comes to enter. Also, a little tip: the souvenir shops right in front are expensive; if you go downstairs, you can buy some beautiful magnets for 1 euro. The entrance is accessible for disabled individuals and strollers. The tour takes almost an hour and a half..

Park Güell is truly one of the highlights of Barcelona and an absolute must-see! The moment you enter, you’re surrounded by Gaudí’s magical designs colorful mosaics, flowing shapes, playful architecture, and spaces that feel like they belong in a fairytale. The panoramic views of the city and the sea are breathtaking and perfect for photos. It’s a place where nature, creativity, and architecture blend beautifully. The park is large enough to wander, relax, and enjoy the scenery at your own pace, yet every corner has something unique to admire. The Monumental Zone, mosaic benches, and the famous lizard sculpture are definite standouts. The atmosphere is peaceful, inspiring, and full of charm. Tickets are timed, so booking ahead is smart and you should be there as early as you can, because it gets crowded quickly and the morning light makes everything even more beautiful. Comfortable shoes are also helpful due to hills and walking paths. Overall, Park Güell is a wonderful experience vibrant, artistic, and unforgettable. If you’re visiting Barcelona, don’t miss it!

A mesmerizing masterpiece! The façade is stunning, but the interior experience is what truly brings Gaudí’s imagination to life. The audio guide is engaging, the colors and curves feel otherworldly, and the rooftop is unforgettable. Even if you’ve seen photos before, nothing compares to seeing it in person. A must-visit in Barcelona!

Unfortunately, the stadium is being renovated, so you cannot see the true value of this football stadium. However, aware of the value of the stadium, its tradition, the fact that it is one of the most beautiful and largest stadiums in the world, it receives 5 stars. I will definitely come back once the stadium is finished to enjoy its beauty, but also to watch the Barcelona game :)

In my opinion THE place to be in Barcelona for the evenings/sunset. The view from the streets up the "Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya" is breathtaking. There are 3 stages of steps to reach the top, each with its own scenic views of the city. Reach top and then there is the spectacular view of the city. Stay top, enjoy the sunset with some good live music that's performed everyday. The fountain then starts in late evening, enjoy it from the top and then walk back down and enjoy close-up. Totally worthwhile!

Very popular and busy market. Here you find great quality of meats, seafood, fruits and vegetable. There are plenty of food stalls to choose from. Quality here is top notch but equally the prices are fairly high for most products. The ready to eat fruits are absolutely delicious as well as the Iberico ham and fresh seafood. Definitely give the paella here a try as well. At the backside of the market is a small square where you can find few spots to sit and enjoy your food.

The day before I went to Casa Batlló and that place truly sets the standards high maybe 7 stars, nevertheless the visit to La Pedrera IS certainly a serious 5 considering how well narrated the audio/video guide is and how extremely well kept the building is. At the time of my visit to the elevator was off for a couple of hours for maintenance, I was given the option to come by a little later or use the stairs for the first couple of floors; I recommend highly the stairs because it shows you the kind of attention to detail that went into the design of this marvelous building. I took my time walking up the stairs just enjoying otherwise common things like the handrails and wall surface finishes all the while commenting "if this are the service stairs how could the rest of the building be"... Soon you reach the first stop on the tour and you discover why Gaudí considered this his favorite family house. From little things usually overlooked but important as the ventilation to the design for the natural illumination of every apartment, this place is a Marvel of design ideas everyone can borrow from to make your next home better since Antonio Gaudí's design relied on ingenuity more than expense as one discovers little by little from room to room. There's a store within the building that is a museum on to itself, the items on it take you back to the Art Nouveau period, from elegant glassware and dining sets to beautiful wood miniatures of some of Gaudí's furniture concepts (quite expensive unless you considere they are all perfect replicas all the way to the wooden joinery - these are not toys they the perfect gift for any architect or industrial designer). I visited La Pedrera on a Sunday of September and although the entrance was obviously crowded, once inside the building it did not feel crowded at all; I attribute this to the well set pace of the tablet guides, exactly the same as it was at the Casa Batlló tour. As an Industrial Designer I believe what I enjoyed the most what's the underside of the roof top, it's a part of a building that's usually not shown but Gaudí expressed his creativity even on purely functional elements like those 231 different arches that you get to enjoy from the inside whilst discovering details of several famous buildings thru beautifully made models with individual narrations explaining the constructions for each. Just that space is worth the price of admission for anybody interested in Great Design, but getting to see the city from the rooftop full of those giant and so organic chimneys is the icing on the cake. On any day 1 can see all the way to the mountains and get excellent shots giant chimneys all around you. A must see for any visitor of Barcelona, and a life experience to any designer or art lover. I plan on visiting again and again every time I get a chance to visit this amazing design city of Barcelona.

It's a colorful building with lots of ornaments and lively look. Highly recommend visiting it.

Basílica de Santa Maria del Mar is absolutely breathtaking. The Gothic architecture, high ceilings, and the peaceful atmosphere inside create a truly magical experience. Walking through this basilica feels like stepping back in time—full of history, beauty, and spiritual calm. It’s a place that touches your heart and leaves you in awe. Definitely one of the most memorable highlights of Barcelona

I really enjoyed Palau Güell. We visited as a family of four and the price of tickets for here was much more reasonable than other museums. Unfortunately, it was extremely hot on the day we visited and we struggled a little inside in the heat. Few rooms had air con. We didn’t have headphones so had to carefully listen to the guide on our phones. We didn’t want to be annoying to others so kept it as quiet as possible. The commentary was very informative and it was great how it corresponded to each room. The rooms were beautiful and the roof terrace was stunning. Definitely recommend a visit.

We visited the Picasso Museum in Barcelona hoping to dive deeper into the life, influences, and artistic journey of this endlessly creative artist. Having previously visited the Picasso museums in Paris (the largest collection worldwide) and Málaga (his birthplace), we were excited to explore Barcelona’s museum - the very first dedicated to Picasso and the only one opened during his lifetime. The location is great: nestled in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, with its maze of medieval streets and charming atmosphere. The museum itself is a beautiful blend of history and modernity, recently renovated but still housed in stunning medieval buildings, complete with magnificent staircases, stone walls, and ornate facades. Honestly, the architecture alone is worth the visit... The collection is well-organized and thoughtfully curated. We loved discovering some of Picasso’s very early works, including a breathtaking First Communion painting - incredibly impressive considering he painted it at just 15. The transition through his different periods is clearly displayed, from his first portraits to the Blue Period and the early explorations of Cubism. The collection is not overwhelmingly large, which in my opinion is a plus (you can comfortably see everything in about two hours without feeling rushed). Personally, I found the Velázquez-inspired “Las Meninas” variations absolutely fascinating, especially the large-format piece - a true highlight of the visit. I also appreciated the series of works inspired by his time in Paris, a recurring theme that shows the lasting influence of Cubism on his style. We were also lucky to catch a temporary exhibition dedicated to Francoise Gilot (French painter, long term partner of Picasso, and mother of Claude and Paloma Picasso) with some of her own art on display (drawings, watercolors and a few ceramics), as well as pieces connected to Claude Picasso and the family, a touching and insightful addition to the experience. Overall, this museum is well worth visiting, whether for its architecture, its intimate but rich collection, or the chance to gain a clearer understanding of Picasso’s early work and evolving artistic phases. A must if you want to appreciate not just the art, but also the context and influences that shaped this iconic figure.

Came here at dawn so we didn't touch the sea nor there was much crowd. The atmosphere was calm and the air fresh. A perfect place to watch sunrise from the middle of the ocean, they built some convenient decks to do so.
