Even the security were lush and when we came back to get our bags later in the night the new team couldn’t have been more helpful either. The "booth" we were offered for free wasn't quite what I imagined, I thought it would be an actual booth, more private, like you see in other clubs, but we were just taken to a very large round table. The music was great, all our favourite songs from the 80's, 90's and more, all the cheesy pop, which we absolutely love to dance to. The DJ played all the songs we asked for, which was lovely. The dance floor was large and spacious, plenty of room to dance without bumping into other people. It was busy, but not too busy, which is exactly how we like it. We stayed till the very end, danced all night, had the best night ever. The bar staff were also very good, they offered to look after my bottle of fizz behind the bar whilst we were dancing and away from the table, they even had anti drink spiking things that you can stick over the top of your glass and then put a straw through the middle, although not sure this would be very effective if someone was trying to spike a drink. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, we felt like VIP's! We didn't encounter any trouble, there were visible security people around, so we felt safe. The only one negative is that the ladies toilets were a bit grim, however, not as bad as I was imagining and Danny did tell me that they are going to be spending a lot of money completely ripping out and refurbishing those toilets. He said in a couple of weeks, so that should be about now at time of writing this review. We would definitely go back again on a Friday night. The dance floor was easy to dance on and not at all slippery when people spill drinks, unlike Pryzm in the Disco room, where they have a wonderful multicoloured disco floor, but because of what it's made from, it becomes dangerously slippy when wet, and everyone takes their drinks on the dance floor so there are a lot of spillages and we have seen people fall over numerous times, so it was a blessed relief to dance on a dance floor where we don't have to worry about slipping over all the time. After one too many “are you hungry yet?”s we agreed to independently research and then come back together to discuss potential venues. Top of the list was a place called 7Bone, pretty much because the main picture on their website matched most closely my own design: two smashed patties, with melted cheese seeping into its gaps, in one of those milky-floury non-brioche buns. Also raising an eyebrow was the fact that “ooh, Red Dog are in the Mesmerist now”, so we stopped off for a look at their menu en route, and had reliable old Honest Burgers nearby as a Plan C too. Some of the staff (Mike & Robbie e.g) designed the drinks on the menu, delivering a completely unique and wonderful experience, matching the exact description given by the staff who designed the drinks and what’s said on the menu (Mike was great recommending two very amazing cocktails based on our preferences). There’s a mix of classics and originals so everything for everyone, one of our favourites being Tropic Thunder. A definite return and a once in a lifetime experience.

One downside however is the bouncers. They are rather rude and abusive for no real reason and that totally ruined my experience when singled out. After it got very crowded, I was pushed onto the usually open stage; where 3 guys and a bouncer were already. The bouncer asked me to get off, and I asked him politely why the other 3 were up there as I walked off the stage. Next thing I know, the big guy has pushed me off the stage, telling me that I need to leave, and into my mates; hurting one of them as I fell into them. I cooperated and left with the bouncer following behind me. I spoke with the manager, who kind of apologised about the matter but would not let me back in as it would annoy the bouncer. I understand the protocol, but I meant no harm and caused no harm and was wrongly pushed several times by the bouncer even though I was cooperative.
