I got the Jerk Chicken with Collards and it was decent but based on the price and more so the service I will not be coming back. Jerk Chicken was heavy with sauce, not dry but not moist and wasn't as flavorful as other versions I have had. Rice and beans were very dry. Collards were pretty good and served hot. My friend considers himself and Ox-tail aficionado and they absolutely raved about the quality, tenderness, seasoning and tastiness of Ty's Ox-tails as well as the the au jus that they mixed with the peas and rice. My Jerk chicken was phenomenal, with the chicken just full of flavor and tenderness and a perfect zip of spiciness and some heat. The Collard greens with smoked Turkey meat was next level. And the mac-n-cheese was a perfect blend of all things cheesiness. I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Ty and conversing with him about a multitude of topics.
