One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to, easily my top 3. Portion sizes were perfect, flavours were divine. Garlic pizza bread was delicious, perfect amount of tomato sauce, perfect amount of garlic and the bread was just incredible. The Cajun chicken tagliatelle and spaghetti bolognaise was delicious. Just the right amount of tomato sauce and the flavours were on point. Side of chips and cheesy garlic bread with their house garlic mayonnaise were spot on. Lastly, the tiramisu was the perfect way to end the night off. “Traditional recipe” is the description they used and through every bite you can definitely taste the “tradition”. It was a Sunday about 2pm, expected it to be busy with Sunday Roasters but all tables empty except from a family playing pool. The ladies of the Inn sort of blocked the doorway to the bar. I glanced around the Inn at all the empty tables and was confused, so we ordered a couple of drinks and sat in the bar listening to the Inn ladies chatter amongst themselves loudly swearing about TV programmes. We noticed a couple come in who had booked for a Sunday Roast.. obviously they don't do Sunday Roasts for drop in's even if they have tables available. Conclusion is that it's not a friendly welcoming Inn and can't be bothered to serve even if they are empty. If you decide to go, don't forget to book!!

While many are well behaved there’s always one or two that want to bark at each other which isn’t the dining experience that I would choose.
