It came with choy sum, half of a soft boiled egg, Hiyayakko (soft tofu with peanut sauce), kimchi, a bowl of rice, and a bowl of miso soup. The portions were HUGE given that it was only 20 dollars. It was a whole pork belly! The 1) Party Sushi Combo was also great! It featured 19 assorted pieces of nigiri, a normal roll and a specialty roll served in a sushi boat. I’m pretty sure we got the Rainbow Roll and the Phoenix Roll, both were delicious. Apart from the food I want to say that the decor was beautiful, making the restaurant feel very cozy and like home. There are some Japanese decorations, and also the music in the background is very nice, unlike some other places with loud music that can be disruptive. I also want to highlight the service of this restaurant. The chef of the sushi bar was really kind and gave us an extra pork dish that was on the house! The server was also very kind. One thing, the rice for normal dishes here is different from rice of other Japanese restaurants. It’s a type of rice that will be more sticky on the outside and hard on the inside. It is typical for some Japanese restaurants, but it might be a little off to some people. Just keep that in mind.
