We had a wide range of option for apps and entrees. - Location - very centralized location right in downtown Salem with plenty of nearby parking. Most of guests walked front heir hotels. - Venue - The front dinning room comfortably held our 30 person dinner with room to spare. The back patio was great for hosting welcome drinks as most of our guests spent their time outside. The East Regiment Beer brand was started in 2014 & opened the taproom in 2019, so they have been a brewery staple in downtown Salem, MA for over half a decade now. The taproom & outside patio section was stacked, but my friends & I were lucky enough to scoop a table a couple feet from the bar. The draft list here was pretty diverse with a good amount of different styles including a red ale & cream ale. I had six different pours including a flight & a couple pints so let's get it. 🍻🍻🔥☘ I started off with a pint of the EAST REGGIE RYCE Lager, it was super crisp & refreshing for my first beer of the visit. I then moved onto a flight, starting with a 4oz taster of the CALACAS DORADO Lager. Again just like the previous lager, it was really good & refreshing, the almost 100 degree day probably had a lot to do with it. My second taster was the HEX DRNKR Lager, my third & last lager of the trip here & as good as the others. The third 4oz I tried was the READY ROOM Red Ale. I loved that they had a red on draft & it was delicious & super drinkable for sure. My last beer in the flight was the SCOTTY DOESN'T KNOW IPA, a above average hazy, but nothing mind blowing. I finished off my trip here with a pint of the GALAXY DROPS IPA. Along with the lagers I had previously, it was my favorite beer of the trip. 🍻🍻✌♥️🍺☀️ All the usual seating options here including tables, hightops, rail seating & a nice patio area. The heat was on outside for sure so we hung out inside with the AC. The bartender was really friendly & even with a full taproom when we arrived was giving great & quick service. After that, it seemed that people had to wait. So, it was crowded. There were possibly only one or two waitresses so she/they were superbusy. We managed to order quickly but the foods took perhaps 20 minutes to arrive although they were just simple sandwiches. Nothing fancy. The food quality is not great. I had a smoke turkey sandwich and it was overly salty. The hamburger bun was rather cold and hard. Worse than regular fast food places. There were three in my party so we paid for one out of pocket. Because of the Pass, it was an OK deal. I certainly would not visit this without the Pass.
