The pumpkin cheesecake was very mid- it did not hit me in the face with pumpkin pie spices, nutmeg, allspice, etc, which is a must with anything pumpkin to bring it home. The coconut cream cake slice was okay and it was the best coconut cream I’ve had that was not homemade, so that’s something. Cake texture was fluffy and icing was not sugary. I also got a blueberry coffee cake which was the best thing I got but still only a 7/10, would’ve appreciated some lemon or other additional flavors. It tasted like St Louis gooey butter cake with a few blueberries baked in. Begging you to revisit some of these recipes, they’re not amazing yet. Ho vissuto a San Diego per tre mesi e questo piccolo bar, scoperto purtroppo solo alla fine del viaggio, è stato la mia salvezza.
