The food we ordered to the room was also delicious, would recommend the restaurant! Unfortunately though the room was sub-par, quite shabby with trim broken off the skirting boards, the seat & table were both tattered & damaged, the shower screen wasn't fully attached at the top, and lastly the bathroom smelt like urine. We had purposely not booked a cell room as I didn't like the idea, however we were "Upgraded" for free, totally not worth it. If we weren't in such a rush to get to our event I would have asked to change rooms, but unfortunately this was not possible due to time constraints. When the order arrived, I thought of adding a bit of spice with my meal, and added only a very small portion of the biryani rice I bought from the other vendor in the lobby of Templar Square. Immediately, a staff from the till stood in front of me where I was seated, & STERNLY told me off (felt like a school girl being told off by her teacher) that I should not eat any other food apart from what i bought from them. I think you need to subject your staff (the one who told me off was an Asian lady, not able to get her name unfortunately) to Compassionate customer care workshops. For me, never again. There are many other cafes who respect their customers more.
