This is a really cool spot to see the geyser! It is not the cleanest spot in the world, but it was well worth it just looking for some time and seeing the waves turn into the geyser. There were shops and markets everywhere and you could find anything you needed here. I will definitely be coming back to see it. The geyser goes off ever couple of minutes cause of the waves, some will be larger and some smaller, but I definitely got some water on me, haha!

I am not sure how my experience compares to a cruise shore excursion but in my opinion it is not worth going to. It was about an hour drive outside of Ensenada. When I arrived I had to park at the top of the hill which cost 50 pesos, so relatively affordable. As soon as you start walking down hill, which takes about ten minutes, you are hit with vendors trying to sell you things. There are maybe 50-100 vendors trying to sell you anything from illicit items to trinkets to food. I did end up buying a couple items from a shop that wasn't pushy. When I got to the bottom there was a 360 camera you could rent as well as a drone. I'm not sure how either of those worked as I just went to the regular viewing platform. The reason I was disappointed is because you can see water flying upwards and hear the noise, but you can't actually see any hole. You just see water flying up, which I can do elsewhere on the western coast with a rocky shoreline during king tides. It was cool to visit once, but I spent maybe 5 minutes before leaving. If it wasn't so far from Ensenada it would probably be worth visiting.

We came here on a tour, so we just had a small sample of what this restaurant has to offer. We had two tacos, one vegetarian and one cochinida pibil. The delicious vegetarian taco was our favorite and had wonderful flavors.

We didn't know what to expect but my wife said it was a highlight for a cruise stop in Ensenada and I'm glad we came.
Although we were here reasonably early around midday the music was loud and the staff were doing their thing to get everyone in the mood.... So much whistle blowing and people being turned upside down and shaken... Still haven't worked out why and what purpose but it seemed fun... This place is so much fun! It's super clean. There was someone cleaning the bathrooms every time I used it. There was staff everywhere. We only went there for the day on the side with the big pool with waves. There were benches available and a place to grill. We also went to the very top of the mountain where the Mexican flag is located. Awesome view! We plan to come to go back next year and do the ATV and the zip-lines. It's a little pricey but I think it's worth it if you only go once in awhile.

I freaking loved this place ! We were there for 4 days and I definitely believe this was the perfect time! We did the Canopy tour and it was awesome! The canopy tour includes 5 ziplines and 5 bridges. It lasts about and hour or a little more depending on how fast you walk. We drove to the flag as well and ate at the restaurant too! The food was okay. (NOT a fan) however, this was a perfect little family get away and will definitely come back God willing next year ! We celebrated my family's birthdays and it was so worth it! The pricing was not bad, we paid $1,360 pesos per person which to me wasnt bad. That was for the whole stay. You do get electricity so you can plug your big speakers. El Sitio de la Mision de San Fernando de Velicata fue establecido por el Explorador incansable el Misionero Jesuita Wenceslaus Linck en el 1767
Localizado en un lugar llamado Velicata asentamiento de un grupo de Chochimies fue establecida como Mision por el Fraile Franciscano Junipero Serra en su camino a la Alta California, siendo la primer Mision fundada por Junipero Serra en las Californias, asi como la unica Mision de los Franciscanos en Baja.
Algunas paredes en ruinas permanence asi como una pequeña Presa y parte del acueducto al oeste del Sitio, encontrandose en el area algunos Petroglifos.
La Mision se dejo de atender en el 1818 debido al poco numero de noefitos en el area.
Las Fotos son anteriores al 2004 en el cual empece mi recorrido por las Misiones o Sitios de estas en Baja California, estas son fotos que se encuentran en diversos sitios de la Internet y agradezco el haberlas encontrado y que nos muestren los diversos estados del Sitio.
