Our room was open plan with views across the grounds, there were some obvious signs of heavy wear and tear but it was a comfortable space to be in. It really depends on what you're looking for. The sea view can only be seen in the distance from the apartment if you're standing up in the lounge. The harbour is far away. Unfortunately, I booked thinking I would be looking out onto the sea from the apartment (my mistake, not the owners, of course). The mattresses did seem of poor quality. Also, if you would like to request a later checkout than 10 a.m., it's apparently not at all possible. Due to arrangement they have with the cleaning company. Over which they have no control. We just left a night early, and cancelled dinner plans, as we really didn't want to be dragging teenage kids out of bed to leave on time, but with an early rising young family this may not present any issues. I appreciate this is to resolve any issues , however I didn't want to not write an honest review of my experience.
