The Lodge is a stunning building with a lovely garden to sit out in and it is very central with parking in the grounds. Janet and John super hosts, we only stayed for one night but wish we could have stayed longer, and will do if we ever come back to the UK. The welcome and introduction was one of the best we have ever experienced, a welcome from the heart. The little things which they have mastered mean the most, ie, wine glasses in the room, lovely drinks tray with biscuits and fresh milk in the fridge which had water and sweets in. Glasses in the en-suite, which is always a welcome. Our bed (room 2) was so so comfy and the room was spotless. Breakfast to die for and plenty of it.
