ここのEnglish breakfastを食べて、完全にロンドンの食事のイメージが変わりました。イギリスは食事が美味しくないと聞いていたので、さほど期待してませんでしたがめっちゃ美味しかったです。日本人にはあまり馴染みのないBlack puddingですが、こちらも美味しかった！ 平日の朝7:30頃に行くと並ばずに済みましたが8:00を過ぎるとレジ前に列ができていました。出勤前の方かな？という人も多く、並びたくないなら早めに行くのがおすすめです。 地元の方に愛されている観光客も集まる素敵なカフェでした。 ただ、結構なスパンで値上げをしているようです。私たちが伺った時はset breakfast は9.65￡でした。 またロンドンに行った際は訪れたいです。

イギリスの朝食が食べられるお店です。 イギリスのご飯はあまり美味しくない、、って周りの人からイメージを植え付けられていたのですが笑、そんなイメージを覆してくれました。 最初見たときは豆を煮てるのって美味しいの…？？と思いましたが、全然美味しかったです！ 結構朝早く行ったのですが、既にほぼ満席で、あと1,2席くらいしか空いてなかったです。 お客さんの回転も早かったので、混んでてもちょっと待てば入れそうな気もします。 いろいろとトッピングができるようで、初めて行ったのでどう注文していいかもわからず笑、一番シンプルなメニューを注文してしまいました。 次行くときはいろいろとトッピングしたいです！

“Set Breakfast and Black pudding,please.(ブレークファストセットとブラックプディングください)”と言いましたが、ブラックプディングが入ってませんでした。注文した内容にミスがあったとしても文句を言わないことが英国式だと思い、出されたものだけ食べて帰りました。

フルイングリッシュブレックファーストが食べれるとのことで行ってきました。 結構な行列でしたがジワジワ進んでいたのでそれほど待つこともなくオーダー出来ました。 選べる品やトッピングに迷いましたがビーンズとハッシュポテトを選んでよかったです。ミルクティーも大きなマグカップで提供されゆっくりいただきました。パンはトーストかブレッド（焼いてないバターの塗ってあるパン）を選べるのですが、ブレッドの耳が固すぎました(*^^*)量が多くてパンは残してしまいました。 オーダーしてから席を取るように書いてありましたが、入店して先に席を取ってる外国人も何人かいました。 オーダーを受けてる女性店員さんの仕切りの良さが素晴らしい！そして声量もすごかった(˶ᐢ-ᐢ˶)

受付のおじいさんめっちゃイケイケでした。オムレツウィズチップスの量には気をつけてください。安いし、本当におすすめ。

8時ごろに到着した時には空席がいくつかありました。店員さんは感じがいいです。 朝食セットを頼みましたが、私には全体的に塩辛く食べきれませんでした。ベーコンは肉厚で食べ応えがあります。豆は甘じょっぱい味付け。ミルクティーはお勧めしません。 雰囲気はイギリスローカル感満載で、地元の方たちも利用されてましたが、観光客も多かったです。

Covent garden近くのインド料理屋。人気高く常に行列とのことであったが、平日、バレエ観劇前の早い時間に訪問のところ、待ち時間無しで席を確保できた。が、既に店内は一杯で隅の二人席に案内される。19時前に退店する頃は店をぐるっと行列が出来ていたのでラッキーだったと思うべきだろう。 写真は、スパイシーチキンの前菜にシグネチャーメニューのカレーにチーズナンにマンゴーラッシー。価格は合計で40ポンド程度で日本円で8000円程度。現地感覚なら４-5千円の感覚なのでやはり円が安くなり過ぎたということだろう。 いずれもスパイスがくっきりと浮かび上がる刺激的な味でとても美味しい。店員さんも親切でメニューを丁寧に説明してくださる。

ロンドンでインドカレーが人気？！ということで気になって行ってみました。 夜は予約はできなく並ぶという噂があったので、昼の時間帯で予約をして行きました。 店内はめちゃくちゃ広くて、グランドフロアだけかと思っていたら、地下もあり、相当な席数でした。 14時に予約していったのですが、ほぼ満席。 この時間でこんなに混むってことは、夜は…？と思い、たまたま夜店の前通ったら、長蛇の列！ 3,40人は並んでた気がします。 旅行でわざわざ並ぶ時間もないと思いますので、是非昼間の時間帯で予約していくのをオススメします。 料理の方はというと美味しかったです！ オクラの揚げたやつがまず美味しくて。笑 海外でもオクラって言うんですね。 和名かと思ってました。 ちょっとピリ辛です。 あとはカレーを1種類とナンをまず頼み。 ナンはとりあえず1人前だけ頼んだのですが、二人だとちょっと足りませんでした。 なので追加でガーリックナンを注文。 美味しかったです。 とはいえ、日本で食べるインドカレーと同じ感じかなーという感想。 イギリスで食べられるとは思ってなかったので、旅行先での食事ってことで一層美味しく感じましたw ロンドンで大人気のインドカレー屋さん。 興味ある方はぜひ行ってみてください。

12時からランチなので、それより前の到着は待ってと言われます。子連れで外で待つのも疲れるので、ブランチメニューもオーダーし、12時前に席につかせてもらいました。その後行列ができていたので、早めに入って良かったです。お料理も美味しく、騒がしいので子連れもいいと思います。店内は狭いのでベビーカー有りだと畳む必要があるかも。接客も良かったです。

ケンジントンの店舗が大行列だったので、行ってみたく。ミュージカル前にコベントガーデンのこちらを予約して伺いました。 全体的にリーズナブルで行列も頷けます。 スパイスの効いたオクラチップス、dishoom house chaat（揚げたサツマイモのヨーグルトがけパリパリビーツのせ）、コクのあるカレー、思い出すだけでよだれが出ます。子供にはビリヤニとナンが好評でした。チャイもスパイシーでほんのり甘くて美味しかった。 若い女性の店員さんもミュージカルにでられてる役者さんかな？と思うほどに素敵で丁寧な接客で居心地が良かったです。

この価格でこんなにも美味しい料理が食べられるなんて最高です！ チキンカレーとタンドリーチキン、ガンパウダーポテトを食べました！ また行きたいです！

イギリスがインドを植民地してたいうこともあってかインド料理が，沢山まちにあったのでいってみた。 夜は大行列の為諦めて09:00からモーニング。残念ながらカレーは一種類だがとても濃厚。日本でいう辛口であとから辛さがくるタイプ。 接客もとても素晴らしい。 人気店の理由がわかる。ロンドンを訪れたら是非いってほしい。

本場ロンドンでいただくアフタヌーンティーはやはり格別。特にスコーンが絶品で、ふわふわしっとりとした食感に感動しました。クロテッドクリームとストロベリージャムをたっぷりのせて頬張ると、まさに至福の味わい。 ケーキもサンドイッチも一つひとつ丁寧に作られていて、どれを食べても美味しかったです。もちろん紅茶も香り高く、最後までゆったりと楽しめました。 店内はクラシックで落ち着いた雰囲気があり、特別な時間を演出してくれます。日本より少し高めの価格ですが、味も雰囲気も含めて大満足のアフタヌーンティーでした。
