I ordered 6 of these absolutely amazing, heavily pastries and it was not enough to fulfill my hunger because they were so good. My first impression was that I couldn’t believe damn big that menu is. Seriously. You’re gonna have a fun time if you didn’t study beforehand because I did and I was still floored over how indecisive I was! After staring at the menu for what seemed like forever I finally picked two beef empanadas ($3.75-$4.00), Gaucho (Argentina original. Ground beef, eggs, olives, onions, bell peppers and spices) and Saltena (from Salta, Argentina. Ground beef, onion, eggs and potatoes). Of the two, the Gaucho was the one for me. It was full of flavor, super stuffed and piping hot! Saltena is great as well, tasted like taco seasoning but authentic. From the chicken menu I picked the Gardel (chicken in light marinara sauce, $3.75). Super good! The chicken was tender and juicy. Whatever spices were thrown in there created a fantastic taste. For our pork option, I chose the Rancho (house made refried beans, in-house Mexican chorizo, cheddar cheese and jalapenos, $3.75). Whew, this was a spicy one.
