I did one this past week, however, and I was really disappointed to see that your drink ticket no longer gets you a small pint of beer at the end, but instead a small thimble. We just finished dinner and decided to go to The Common to do some dancing because it was close. We arrived around 10pm and they said to come back in about 15-20minutes after they cleared up a private function. Ok no problem. I overheard the bouncer tell the guy taking cover not to charge the group in front of us. The half of our group that went in 5 minutes earlier (coincidently, also white) didnt' have to pay cover either. When I questioned the cover, the bouncer didnt' want to hear it and pretty much said we could leave if we didnt' pay the cover. We reluctantly paid because the birthday boy was already in.
