We thought we were happy with it, except the fan making a noise, that annoyed us , but wasn't worth writing hoe about. In 2024 we found out that htere was an issue with the firebox itself. We contacted the launceston branch where we purchased and it started from there. I cannot say enough about Jon in Customer Care BBQ's Galore Victoria. This man went above and beyond for us and said that our wood heater would be replaced. As it was in the 10 year warranty frame. they also covered some of the Flexi flue that was damaged and the installation was covered also. We ummed and ahhed about going a different look and changed models several times before we decided on what we have now. We are so so happy with the insert Perisher model we ended up with. We wanted free standing but according to fire instalation laws, our space was too small for the Thredbo Freestanding. We decided to leave the wood heater exposed anyway. This woodheater heats the bottom floor of our 170+ year old home and also sends heat up to the top floor via the stairwell. The heater is in a Fireplace downstairs that the chimney is part of the fireplace directly above it on the top floor where our kitchen is and oven sits. We have left bricks out of the side wall as a vent and the heat flows into our kitchen. Our ducted heating barely turns on on the top floor due to this woodheater. So far even thugh it is late May 2025, we ave not had to reload with wood after 8:30pm and overnight and throughout the next day the rooms downstairs are so warm and we are not uncomfortable upstairs. Throughout our married years of 32, this is by far the best wood heater we have ever had. Thank you so much to BBQ's galore for the help and replacing of their product. We have ended up with an amazing space that we enjoy even more. We have still yet to finished little things around to aesthetically be more appealing, but it suits our home beautifully.

But delivery drivers vehicle was out of action. So no alternative was given or anything to help us out at all. Surely they have a plan B for deliveries.......... So the next day we organise something ourselves rang to be told it had sold. When I said we would of brought it yesterday if it wasn't for the delivery that had nothing to do with us he told me to have a nice day!!!!! I just feel there's no customer service anymore.
