I sweated a ton coming from a drier climate but it wasn't too warm and cooling off in the waterfall was super refreshing. Just bring plenty of water. Was able to book a parking spot a month in advance online, however with a possible impending hurricane we did end up paying for the shuttle ($40/person) as we did not want to miss this part of our trip!
