Can't thank them enough for accommodating our family group for a birthday meal. Not easy getting together as we are all scattered across the UK, they made the planning easy and on the day they manged to serve all 21 meals hot and at the same time, no mean feat! I haven't been here for a few years but it is still as nice. I was on my own with my two small dogs which are welcome, I sat outside as it is fantastic sat on the canalside. I only had a starter the spicy chicken wings and there were delicious and crispy not greasy at all, I also had a Guinness Zero which I'm glad they sold. There was even a paddle boarder who got off for a pint. The only slight gripe I had and it wouldn't put me off coming back is there were a few tables available outside so I went in to order but I was told I need a table number first, I had to go back out find a table and go back in and order. I tried to explain it could well be taken by the time I go back to it but was told that's what I had to do, so I went out dogs and all looked at a table number go back in and join the back of the queue. I had nothing on me to put on the table bar my phone and keys which obviously I never. I went back in and ordered when I went back to the table it was taken. I explained I had just ordered food to that table but they just looked at me so I went to another table and told them to send my order over. I just think it could all be avoided if they gave me a reserved sign to put on the table it would have made it less stressful.

Great food, four of us and all liked it, I had calamari and seafood chowder both absolutely gorgeous. I'm type one diabetic and my bloods were dropping so my daughter went and explained and they were absolutely brilliant and couldn't of been more helpful. Oh and we ate outside and it's stunning right on the edge of the canal

We held our wedding reception at Lancaster brewery on the 13/04/24 and had around 80 guests.
It was a fabulous day and all our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been too.
The venue look stunning all set up, much nice than anticipated.
The staff were all lovely and really helpful.
I also recommend Kelly's catering as her food (Hot mexican feast) was amazing and I received lots of compliments about it.
I would definitely recommend you to book your event here.

Had a very agreeable afternoon out here with my good friend and confidant, Paul.
The ale was superb as was the venue. Outdoor seating area was very spacious and ergonomically sound. Although Kelly wasn't around, Kelly's kitchen pizzas were very tasty and the Diavola was spicy and scrumptious.

We came for a lunch, meeting friends 1/2 way on a Saturday. The dining area wasn’t busy at all, and our server was fantastic. We had a lovely, relaxed lunch.

Me and my husband came here for our 6th anniversary hoping for a nice quiet meal. When we arrived at 6:30pm we were informed that it was the quiz night and would have until at least 8:30pm to finish our meals as our table was booked. Stopped off here on a trip from Liverpool to Durham. 11 hand pulls of real ale and superb pie and mash meal. Cannot recall having anything better, anywhere. The food is average. The interior is shoddy and in some areas needs a refurb. The toilet look good on the surface but need cleaning up. I didn’t want to sit where they put me but was told quite curtly that the tables were pre-booked. So we had to sit on table 2( see pics) I wouldn’t come here again. We booked for the breakfast thinking it was the Buffet deal we’d had before. The male who greeted us was not very helpful in explaining the situation, The Continental breakfast was buffet style, but the cooked breakfast was table service. Tried here randomly last night. I had the mixed grill with peppercorn sauce I wasn't too keen on the sauce it was lacking so much flavour. The Irish barmaid was attentive and friendly and really made the visit worthwhile. She couldn't do enough for us, during our visit.
I tried a variety of the great craft beers on offer and we also had food.

This pub was a nice pit stop. We weren’t thrilled with one of the staff members after receiving a frosty reception but the other staff members seemed nice. The food here is superb! I had the Sunday roast and it was lovely, beef fantastic. Only thing I’d say is they advertise unlimited gravy and yorkshire puddings but then don’t ask if you would like anymore. The waitresses are nice but very quiet and don’t know too much, we asked how the beef was cooked and she said she didn’t know. We enjoyed a Christmas Eve meal here with family (including two children 8 & 4 y/o).
Everything was perfectly cooked and came piping hot. The huge Yorkshire puds were a big hit with everyone.
We had a [expected] wait for our mains as it was VERY busy but it didn't spoil our experience and the kids had a big double sided colouring/puzzle sheet to keep them busy and some Christmas crackers to pull.

Went to the solar powered chowder tricycle on the prom and got a medium fish chowder topped off with lemon, parsley,freshly ground black pepper and the signature anchor biscuit. The weather was great so I was able to dine alfresco with the bay as my dining background. I would highly recommend that you add a trip for chowder to any trip to Morecambe Bay tasty, creamy and an all round hearty dish that was delicious. I tried the haddock chowder at their pop up at Haigh Hall Artisan Market - this was SO GOOD!
My knowledge of chowders is admittedly pretty limited but it piqued my interest as soon as I saw it and it did not disappoint! There were topping options as well as garnishes - I had mine topped with bacon, parsley and lemon juice (which was served via pipette! A lovely little quirk)
Pete was lovely and clearly passionate about his craft - he advised that everything is pretty much sourced locally in Morecambe which is great to hear and it was all cooked to perfection. I will certainly be visiting their main site if I ever visit Morecambe!

So I've just collected my shopping and in the bags there's a little note to ask me to review my experience. I'm more then happy to do this, however it's impossible to find a link in the app. I think that's the reason you're not getting many reviews, as this nearly put me off doing it.
I do a click and collect every week as I'm disabled and fine walking around store painful and not a particularly pleasant. Normally my husband collects the shop as he's no issue loading it into the boot. On the odd occasion I've had to collect myself I've always found the click and collect team excellent and dispite being clearly run off their feet they're always willing to help with a smile and a brief chat and take good care of my shop and it's loaded with thought and care.
I've found every member of the team excellent and would like to pass on my gratitude to them all. I have to say there's one that's head and shoulders above the rest, Rob or Robert ?? He is genuinely a credit to Asda /the home shopping team and what ever he's paid just isn't enough!!
Every week you're met with a smile, nothings to much trouble and he's extremely professional and knowledgeable, for a while I thought he may be management keeping hands on, so was surprised when I found that's not the case. I'm sure the team could do much worse then him team leader. Thanks to him especially, keep up the good work .
Few notes for improvement, sometimes dates are short on items and the team do go and swap items out where they can, but this adds to the time pressure I'm sure.
The phone service isn't always reliable and the WiFi in that area is shocking ,so you can't always say I'm here via the app. The team are generally on the case and spot you, but at a very busy times you could be missed and it's not their fault.
The deliveroo,/Just eat drivers are generally rude and obnoxious. The staff from Asda don't deserve the treatment they get from these drivers, treatment I've witnessed with my own eyes.😡 I've actually come to the click and collect staffs defence a few times because they've always been every inch the professional and just take it. Frankly I tell one of these people to 'back off' and I won't potentially lose my job !!
The protocols for the delivery services need to be addressed.It's not fair on your staff and customers having to battle to with a rude delivery drivers that would trample over their own mother get away with their order first. They need to have a different delivery point because the more popular these delivery services become, the more like 'The hunger games' your click and collect point will become and could put a more shy reserved person off using it.
Generally a 5/5 service and worth doing, special thanks to Rob and the team (I hope this review gets to the relevant dept)

Had a very unpleasant experience at Asda Lancaster 13/9/25 at 14.30. My partner’s card payment at the self-checkout didn’t go through because of a system glitch, but we thought it had as there was no alarm and no barrier stopping us. What a great venue for a gig. We went to watch the ZUTONS here
Situated in what looks like an old trading yard. It's got a funky Carribbean vibe with a great outdoor area for some fantastic street food and seating. A few indoor booths for keeping the rain off. A tidy venue for live music and I hope it keeps getting well supported to keep live music alive.
Beer was priced fairly with reds stripe at £5 a pint.
The staff were really friendly. The bouncers could do with some improvement they came across as arrogant and a little aggressive.
If you don't expect the Ritz and expect a funky friendly Carribbean live music and street food venue then you won't go wrong.

This would of been five stars but I’m afraid one of the staff has very, very bad hygiene. We actually didn't expect so much for the price, a two tier afternoon tea, unlimited hot drinks and a small prosecco. Went for a meal on Valentine’s Day and Sally managed to get me a table even though I haven’t booked in advance which i really appreciated. There was an amazing musician playing romantic songs and that made the whole dinner more romantic and created a great atmosphere in the restaurant. We attended yesterday for Christmas Day Lunch and was disappointed. We were told to arrive for 1pm ready for food to be served at 1.30 but it was 2.15 before we got even got our starters. The starter and dessert was lovely but the main meal, which finally arrived at 4pm was cold. For £65 a head we expected fresh Turkey but instead was given cold, processed turkey roll. The veg was hard and spoiled the meal.
The service staff were so helpful and made sure we had a lovely day. When we complained we were immediately offered to a free round of drinks which we welcomed thankfully. We still had a really nice time and the majority of the food was lovely but the service was slow and the main meal was almost inedible. I wouldn’t return for food again.

I had an amazing experience at the Brasserie the other night. The staff were very attentive and friendly, especially Dana making conversation and making us laugh. The food was incredible, I had the fillet steak which was cooked to perfection exactly the way I like it and the salted caramel mouse which was to die for. The music was very calming creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere perfect for a quite night dining.

Brought my family to the Bath from Brighton to try the Morecambe Bay Chowder, not only does this pub serve delicious Chowder, they serve a huge range of fantastic local beers/ales. The manager was really welcoming and took time to take us through all the drinks on offer which we really appreciated and informative. The pub decor is beautiful and comfortable. We went along to the Bath Tap seeking their chowder after trying some from their pedal bike seller on the prom. We tried the Morecambe bay chowder with all the toppings and the ghoulash, they were delicious! I found the bacon topping a little salty, but the chorizo and of course the shrimp were just right.
Service was quick and friendly, the bar atmosphere was lively but not unwelcoming, loos were clean. We'll definitely be back.
