What a beautiful venue in a great location! I love nostalgia and old buildings. This place wowed me as a first-time visitor. My family and I attended a Sunday evening Christian concert and parking was great along with a beautiful downtown setting. Made us feel like we stepped back in time. Paint chips had dusted all the balcony seats which told us that the ceiling was truly falling little by little. The cosmetics of the old 1920s building really needed some TLC, but overall, it was a grand night surrounded by beautiful decorations and great stage sound. Almost too loud for such a small auditorium, but we endured. I would definitely go back for the nostalgic setting, but pray they begin repairs as soon as possible. A fun night in Chattanooga!

There is major paint flaking, especially on the ceilings, and I worry with the sound and vibration that it's going to flake off and fall on people. I don't know if the issues go beyond paint to plaster or structure but if the Tivoli wants to keep drawing in quality shows and audiences, something needs to be done about the appearance.
