Instead it’s nice to find somewhere authentic and that’s where La Choza fits the bill. I love the decor here, it’s bright, colorful and like a little corner of Mexico in Brighton. It’s not a huge place so booking ahead is probably wise, and although we didn’t the staff happily placed us in a queue on their app, which texted us when our table was ready. The staff here are fantastic, really friendly and happy to help. They make a mean Dark and Stormy too. As for the menu, it’s simple but fantastic, choose your base, filling and salsa. Grab some Tortillas and the dips you want too. We didn’t see the special board till after we ordered so maybe that was worth a mention. The food came fast, as did the drinks and it was too quality, so delicious and full of flavor. It may have been our first visit but it won’t be our last. A shoutout for the churros too. Having spent a summer in the Oaxaca region, I would say this place definitely ranks amongst the best Mexican food we’ve had in the UK.
