Where can you go and get excellent food, a fun atmosphere, good service and a very reasonable price?? Two tacos and a side for $13.00! I had the Baja fish and Cali tacos. Hubby had Nachos. Yummy ! Our waitress, Grace, was cute, efficient and made excellent recommendations on a food choice. We had a great dinner and hope to visit again soon. It's been years since I've been to a Taco Mamacita (and first time not to the north shore location). The quality generally reflects the price and overall was enjoyable but nothing revelatory. Both the shrimp and fish tacos ordered were solid but the guacamole as well as churros were the stars. Try the vanilla bourbon sauce for the churros, I would drink it from the cup if I could.

This place is amazing! Had the chips and salsa and you definitely need to try the mango habanero!!!! Their queso is great as well! Wife is celiac and they were so knowledgeable and considerate! The staff were great and the atmosphere was good.
The food was good, but not much to the Mama's nachos were lacking in ingredients. There was very little chicken or beans on the nachos . It tasted good, but not much to it. The serving size was large, so you do get full.
The Indian corn was good, but small portions in a cup were not on the Cobb. That was disappointing.
I was the first person in the restaurant but was served third because what I ordered had gluten in it, so I switched to nachos..
The server was great, but way too many managers running around. There is too much confusion going on.
I know this business is just starting out, so things are going to go wrong and need tweeking. I don't hold back on my reviews and give true experience accounts.
Would I recommend this restaurant? Yes, but I'm going to wait till things get better.

This restaurant never disappoints. We have been here to eat every time we visit Chattanooga to enjoy a delicious dining experience. The atmosphere is wonderful - very romantic with lights. The service is excellent - Andrew took good care of us on our visit. He was very attentive and checked in with us throughout the meal. Absolutely lovely Italian Restaurant in a nice quiet area of the city near the River!
Proper good traditional Italian cuisine! Service was superb and the food was even better. I had homemade Linguine in a tomato and basil sauce with chicken and it was delightful. I travel alot for work and im a huge Italian food connoisseur, Tony's was both in beautiful location and great atmosphere. For those who are not familiar and the GPS takes you to overpass, it's a full roundabout and there is parking near the restaurant.
Not going to lie, the Spaghettini Con Crudo was both visually good and delicious. The pine nuts, definitely was a first.
The bread was really good as well, I sprung for the desert, neapolitan ice cream with cashews. They paired greatly, not a combo I would of thought of.
Service was great, the greeter, she was very friendly and a good smile and the waitress was attentive and patient with me, since this was my first time in Tennessee and the first restaurant I chose.
Overall, the food, the price, and the experience was really worth it. Definitely recommend them.

Another Chattanooga favorite.. loved this place. We waiting for about 40 minutes for a table and there were people constantly filing in for a table. It was constant, you can tell they are a favorite.
The menu offering is as Italian favorites and craft your own pasta bowls and pizzas. We got a handmade pasta and a ravioli. We got to sit outside on the few patios they have. I would consider public house an elevated meat and three type place which I like since we don’t have anything like that in town. We have always made reservations and get seated immediately. The staff has always been top notch as well. The bar makes a great drinks always the old fashions and they are great. For apps the pimento cheese and fried pickles are amazing but the bbq carrots and ranch are next level! I am a vegetarian so I always order the vegetable plate and everything is Fresh and good and not heavy or drenched in butter. For dessert always get the carrot cake and love it.

Everything was delicious. One companion got the chicken livers with grits and hot butter sauce. I have to say this, maybe one of my faite restaurants in Chattanooga. The food is so delicious. I never have been one to like steak, but this place literally made me like steak. It has the perfect seasoning the perfect tenderness and everything you feel like you’re fine dining but for the prices is not horrible at all this is my favorite place to go to for occasion. What a great place! Appetizers were delish! Best onion rings I’ve had in a long time. Quesadillas were great and the feta garlic toast was different and yummy. My VooDoo chicken was great along with pretty darned good black beans and rice. Not crazy about the one side sauce but the voodoo sauce was spot on. First time here after enjoying a walk on the nearby trail. It was a nice relief from the late July heat. Wait time for us (party of 8).was roughly around 15 minutes, which was phenomenal, considering it was a packed house. Our server was terrific and energetic. Went to visit Chattanooga this labor day. Decided to give this place a chance. It was so nice. So beautiful. We started with the New Orleans BBQ shrimp. Absolutely delicious. Very flavorful. Then I had the Texas dip sandwich and my partner had the grilled salmon. We ended up with the Sunday ice cream last. I love the large patio overlooking the Tennessee River. Gorgeous views. While we waited for a table, we sat at the bar and had a few drinks. The bartenders were excellent. We had the absolute best meal there last night. Our server,.Cutter was the best. He shared about the menu and offered suggestions about the entrees and drinks. Our food was delicious and served in a timely fashion. Cutter had a huge party to also attend to but he made sure to continue checking on us as well.
We also enjoyed watching Bahama Alfred has he danced and shucked oysters. The other staff were kind and considerate. This is definitely a return visit as there were so many options we wanted to try.

My wife and I came to STIR last Thursday before a show at the Comedy Catch.
I had the Crispy Mahi Bowl, and she had the Chicken Chop Salad. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. She was very happy with her wine selection, and the Austin Mule was absolutely the best Moscow Mule I’ve ever had. And our waitress Jessica was fantastic.

Blown away by Stir. Atmosphere, food, service, they nailed it. Our waiter was kind and helpful, helped us pick out the most popular things on the menu. We ended up getting oysters, a garden chicken, and a chicken picotta as well as the crème brûlée 😍 all of it was drool-worthy.

We came to Feed to get fed and Anya took great care of us. It was busy so we were seated outside. It is a surprisingly quiet city and the weather was beautiful so the patio was fine.
Meatball app was delicious and the beer selection was great with a bunch of local beers on tap and in cans.
Big, diverse menu with options for just about every taste. My buddy got a killer French Dip and I got Short Rib Pit Roast. Great whipped potatoes with glazed carrots and tobacco onions. Cleaned the plate, i did.

Fantastic location with a super cool hybrid open air environment and outdoor or indoor seating. Excellent food, I particularly recommend the hummus. Portions on mains could be a little larger but adequate.
Excellent beer selection however the glassware was somewhat dirty, with lots of bubbles appearing in the glass of every beer we were served. Glassware washing procedures should be looked at.

Alleia is one of our favorite places in the Chattanooga area. We came again for our anniversary and certainly were not disappointed! Alleia is one of my favorite restaurants in Chattanooga, but our most recent visit may have been the best one of them all.
We were warmly greeted by Elyse and we usually order the same thing every time but she recommended some new dishes and the way she described them were exactly how they tasted! She recommended we try the soy bean salad (which was incredible) and the oyster mushroom bruschetta, which she suggested pairing with a Rosé from Greece and it was a perfect pairing. Today they had on special the Hot Schnitz, a phenomenal "burger" of their schnitzel with Buffalo sauce, complimented wonderfully by tangy pickled coleslaw, pickles, and dots of blue cheese crumble. The spice of the Buffalo spice is undeniable present, but smoothed by the pickled tang of the coleslaw and pickles. Just as you get a piece of blue cheese and think that the creaminess is almost too much, the challah bun and tang come in again to save the day. Paired with one side (I got the potato salad, the best side ever, which is not like any potato salad you'd find in a store. Savory and with bits of bacon and pork hidden inside, absolutely delightful) and a half liter, it was a welcome break from the busy-ness of the day.
They also possess prime real estate, with a deck overlooking the pedestrian bridge, and under the watchful eye of Lookout Mountain in the distance.

This was a great find that we stumbled upon while browsing Frazier street. Brewhaus has a great authentic German menu. We tried the schnitzel, the sausage trio, and pretzel sampler. This was the last stop in Chattanooga as we headed back to Nashville. Highly recommended we were excited to give them a try.
Small, old school feel dining hall with a bar and some outside seating as well.
Ms. Chloe greeted us warmly and ee got down to the ordering and eating.
We got Fried Smoked Gouda Mac n Cheese Bites to share, my buddy got Schnitzel Platter with Potato Salad and Spaetzle and I got a Schnitzel Sandwich with Spaetzle.
The food was killer, fresh and hot with quality ingredients and the serving sizes were good. They had a dynamite beer list as well but the whole 2 hour drive home made for no cold ones for me.
Hunter came out to make sure all was good and we BS'd for a few minutes. Good folks running a quality place.

We stopped here on a weekday late morning on our way out of town (after a stop at the coffee shop/bakery by the art museum. Renaissance, maybe? Nope! Rembrandt's!), and were met with delightful service, a refreshing and distinctive cocktail, and delicious food. The ceviche was great! We liked the outdoor seating although it was blistering hot that day. The chimmichuri steak was excellent. Service though was a different story. We waited much longer than what they told us initially which is difficult with hungry kids. When we finally got seated it took a while to be serviced. I am from the west coast and have been looking for good Mexican food since I moved to the east coast recently.
This is the place to get it! Their birria tacos compare with some of the best I’ve ever had. The Al Pastor is seasoned perfectly. The drinks are made with fresh fruit and no mixers. In fact everything is made fresh according to the incredibly friendly owner and you can tell by the taste. The guacamole is the best I’ve ever had anywhere.

Second time at Old Gilman Grill and not super impressed. The service was subpar and the bar tender was more interested in chatting with colleagues than paying attention to paying customers. The flour tortillas were pretty on point. It’s very soft and one of the best I’ve had. I guess the only issue with the tortillas was that they weren’t consistent. Okay, so I hate to post negative reviews, (if you read my other reviews you'll see that I generally follow the adage that if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all but I have to say something to save my conscience) but I adamantly do not recommend this place for food.
I will start my breakdown with the positive things I can say. The views were wonderful. The server was top tier (the hostess was sassy though.) If you are looking for somewhere to go for a quick drink and some chips and salsa, this is a great spot. Also, and this is the only reason they got 2* for food instead of 1, the chunky guacamole was great. The salsa is also pretty decent.
And now for the reasons why I will not recommend this restaurant. My first and foremost complaint is that the food is all clearly reheated/canned/purchased pre-made (except the chunky guacamole). This was apparent by the flavor (lack thereof technically.) I have never tasted food that bland being called Mexican food. It was also obvious because it came out literally 5 minutes (or less) after ordering. We had a good sized order because we had never been here so it should have been at least 20 minutes if it were even semi freshly prepared. I had the Tour de Mexico. I tried every type of meat they had and they were all definitely canned/packaged. There is no way it was anything but premade at that speed of delivery. My second complaint is much smaller but my "brewed iced tea" was literally water. Even when I dumped some on my plate, the color was so faint it's no wonder it didn't have any flavor. I have a sensitive palate and even I barely tasted anything beyond water.
I reiterate that this is a great spot for a casual drink with a friend with a great view, but that is it.

Service was okay. They were friendly but forgot at least one of our party's drink twice (we requested it twice then gave up). To be fair they were pretty busy because we were with a large group. Food was good, better than average for a Mexican restaurant.

Sitting down with a party of 3 with 3 different orders of food and everyone said the same about their food and that was "the food was amazing".
